00:04 Hello friends. We're here at another iSITE REVIEW.
00:07 We're in Central London.
00:09 We're here by Buckingham Palace, and we...
00:11 Right by Buckingham Palace.
00:13 We're right on the corner.
00:15 Buckingham Palace is right here off to my right.
00:17 And the people are starting to line up in front of the gates.
00:19 They've been lining up for quite a little while getting ready
00:22 for the Changing of the Guard.
00:26 So we're just here at the Buckingham Palace and the
00:29 Changing of the Guard.
00:31 And I was running fast through the crowd,
00:32 and I hear someone say, Greg!
00:33 And guess who we bumped into down here in Central London
00:36 but Reggie and Ladye Love Smith.
00:38 Really! Really! So when did you guys get here?
00:41 Oh, really? We've been here for hours and hours.
00:44 We've seen them, but not today at Buckingham Palace.
00:47 And with the thousands of people we ran into each other.
00:49 It was like funny because we came at different times.
00:51 We know it's amazing.
00:53 You look at this whole group of people and anticipation
00:54 of the Changing of the Guard. Right.
00:56 And we were talking about the anticipation of the coming
00:59 of Jesus Christ. That's right.
01:00 Anticipation we should have, right? Absolutely!
01:02 For the event. Absolutely.
01:03 This kind of anticipation, too.
01:05 Well, you know, everybody from all over the world come for this
01:08 one moment all over the world.
01:10 So this is the anticipation for the coming of Christ.
01:13 Absolutely it is. We should have.
01:14 So what do you think about this campaign that
01:16 we're all involved with?
01:17 Actually... singing at some of the events already.
01:19 Oh, yes. We're preparing people for the second
01:21 coming of Jesus Christ.
01:22 And it's a blessing to be a part of that.
01:24 It sure is. Everyone, everywhere.
01:25 Yeah, that's true. Hello.
01:27 You can tell, everyone, everywhere.
01:29 This is great though.
01:31 London is really a melting pot.
01:32 You know, you just see so many people, and cultures,
01:34 and everyone's together lined up here.
01:36 We're right in front of Buckingham Palace and we
01:38 are packed in watching the Changing of the Guard.
01:40 That's right. And we're here with Tim Parton,
01:42 Reggie and Ladye Love Smith, and, of course, my wife.
01:45 And it's a blessing to be here.
01:46 You know, everyone's looking forward to this event taking
01:49 place, so let's go to the Changing of the
01:51 Guard at this point.
02:59 That was incredible to see the Changing of the Guard.
03:02 I have never seen that before. Me neither.
03:05 What do you all think about it?
03:07 Well, it's amazing, yeah. First time?
03:09 Definitely, first time, yeah.
03:11 I was back here in January and we drove by the palace,
03:14 but they weren't doing the Changing of the Guard.
03:19 That's right. But it was, yeah, it was
03:21 definitely something to see. What a treat.
03:23 There's a lot of pageantry involved.
03:25 Oh, yeah. And the music! Yes!
03:27 Amazing! And it took a long, quite a long time, too.
03:30 They started at the stables and they did all the regalia there,
03:33 and it took about an hour there, and then on over here.
03:37 And there were two bands, two different bands:
03:39 an A band and a B band.
03:40 And they broke off and the A band went that way,
03:42 and the B band went this way.
03:44 It was fabulous. Oh, absolutely.
03:46 Yeah, it's amazing to see the changing, you know?
03:49 You've got the old guard coming in, and the new guard taking
03:51 over, and they're changing, and, that's incredible.
03:53 We're standing on the back side of you all.
03:56 On the frontside of us is the Buckingham Palace,
03:58 and behind is the gate, and Saint James' Palace
04:01 is on the other side.
04:02 And we are here with Tim Parton, and Reggie and Ladye Love Smith.
04:05 And we're so glad to be here for this campaign, London 2016.
04:10 And these folk are all doing music.
04:12 So tell me a little bit what its been like.
04:14 We'll start with you, Reggie.
04:15 What has it been like doing music here?
04:17 Oh, it's incredible.
04:18 You know, just it's always a wonderful experience to get to
04:20 meet new people from all over the world and work with them.
04:24 But, you know, we all have... there's a lot of differences
04:26 along the way, many, many, differences.
04:28 But the same goal. But the same goal in mind is Jesus.
04:32 And once we get to that goal and everybody gets on
04:35 the page, it's just amazing.
04:36 And it's fun to get to see how people do things differently
04:41 with audio, and video and things.
04:43 And to learn from them, and them from us, too.
04:46 And that's always a challenge, but it's always fun, too.
04:48 Yeah, absolutely.
04:50 I'll tell you something kind of funny that happened last night
04:51 in one of our concerts. Okay.
04:52 Where were you last night?
04:54 We were at the Gauna London church. Right. Okay.
04:56 And, you know, we all of course speak the same language.
04:59 But there's a difference in our dialect. Right.
05:02 And so last night the pastor was speaking and he said,
05:04 Turn in your Bible to Deuteronomy, and they all just
05:07 fell out laughing.
05:09 And we're, Deuteronomy.
05:10 And we're like, Deuteronomy?
05:11 And he's like, What? What?
05:13 And so I looked around and she said... How did she say it?
05:15 Deedaron? Deedaronomy.
05:16 Deetodaronomy. Detodaromy or something.
05:19 They're going to laugh when they see this.
05:20 I still can't say it.
05:22 But they just died out laughing.
05:23 They just couldn't believe that we said it that way.
05:25 And so there's the little subtle differences that way in our
05:28 cultures, but in the end we all have the same common goal,
05:31 and we're here for the same reasons.
05:33 Really we're all on the same page.
05:34 Yeah, that's right.
05:36 We say it a little bit differently, but it's great.
05:37 You know, we were asking, actually, as far as the
05:38 difference, we're asking for a wash cloth and we didn't realize
05:43 that they're called flannels.
05:44 So we asked for wash cloths, and we ended up with a
05:47 whole stack of towels.
05:48 The big old hand towels, you know?
05:51 And I'm like, no, no, no.
05:52 I need a little one to wash my face, you know?
05:54 Did you get one? Did you get one?
05:56 He said, Oh, you mean flannels.
05:57 We'll ask for a flannel now.
05:59 So I'm getting educated. Yes. Absolutely.
06:03 But we're also learning some great truths.
06:05 Last night Pastor Corey Jackson was preaching on tithing.
06:11 And such a wonderful, wonderful lesson. things that we have
06:14 So, you know, things that we have heard growing up in church.
06:18 All my life I've heard it, but it's so great to be reminded.
06:21 And he had some wonderful ways to connect the applications
06:27 with his family, the way he's going.
06:29 He's teaching his son.
06:31 Who's a teenager. Right. Right.
06:32 So it was great to hear those examples, and be able to apply
06:36 those things to our life.
06:38 The Bible is so applicable. It sure is.
06:39 I looked over at Tim at the same time,
06:41 and he's looking at me, and we've got teenage sons now,
06:43 and he has a 17, 18?
06:45 17 year old, right.
06:46 Which is the same age as the pastor's.
06:47 I have a 14 year old.
06:49 And we were like...
06:50 And we're going, Oh, he's reading our mail.
06:51 Because we're trying to teach our kids, you know.
06:53 So it's a hard thing to get over, you know?
06:56 You know, this whole campaign has been a blessing, hasn't it?
06:58 Over at London 2016, because we're reaching souls,
07:01 not only locally here, but going out over 3ABN,
07:03 and then through the Internet.
07:04 And I know that music is a huge ministry. Yes.
07:07 And we really appreciate your part in this, and also the other
07:11 vocal musicians that are participating.
07:13 Absolutely. Yeah, that's a great thing.
07:15 You know, it's been fun to listen to the local
07:17 singers and players.
07:19 I've really enjoyed it.
07:21 And to plug in with them, and sometimes do things together.
07:23 I mean that's always a fun thing.
07:25 Last night, I've got to tell you that Tim was over on the
07:29 keyboard on the piano, and their pianist,
07:32 the church pianist was there next to him.
07:34 And at the end there was an appeal, and we were singing,
07:37 and there was some music along the way.
07:39 And then afterwards they just had a play out where,
07:42 you know, you play out.
07:43 And Tim was going to move on the piano, and I think he says,
07:45 No, you play, you play.
07:47 Because he had his iPad up going around; he was shedding.
07:49 He was videoing. And he was watching Tim's fingers,
07:51 you know, as he was moving along.
07:52 So it's really great.
07:54 It's a really sweet spirit over there;
07:56 sharing and working together on this. Oh incredible.
08:00 I think that's key, when we're working together.
08:02 We're not competing, we're not coming in taking over.
08:05 That's not our goal by any means.
08:07 We're in this thing together.
08:09 Oh yeah, amen. And that's a key point, Tim.
08:11 Because, you're right, it's not 3ABN coming over and taking
08:14 over SEC, this, you know, Southern England Conference,
08:16 or these churches. Right.
08:18 It's a partnership of working together.
08:19 Because when we're... What does it say in the Bible?
08:22 A threefold cord? is not easily broken.
08:26 So all of us working together, along with Jesus Christ,
08:28 we can't go wrong! No.
08:30 And the way they do things...
08:31 It's a win, win Greg.
08:32 It is a win win, and the way they do things here may be
08:35 different from the way that we do them back in the states,
08:38 so we definitely need to be on the same page.
08:40 And they need to know that our goal is, and our heart is to do,
08:45 you know, ministry,
08:47 So ministry is the same, as I believe, it's all about Jesus.
08:51 It is, that's right.
08:52 And to me music in a special way prepares
08:54 the heart for the message.
08:56 Oh, yeah, for sure.
08:57 You know, before the preaching of the word, the music opens up
08:59 our hearts and just like prepares it, softens.
09:02 You know, when my heart gets hard sometimes?
09:04 It softens the hard heart and prepares us to receive it.
09:08 I had the great privilege last night of playing for Reggie and
09:12 Ladye on the appeal song.
09:13 What song did you all do?
09:15 Our Redeemer is Faithful and True.
09:16 We were talking about how faithful God is.
09:19 As we tithe He is so faithful to give.
09:22 And so Reggie said, Let's just do this song.
09:24 So I was thrilled to be able to be there with them so that we
09:28 could just pull that right off.
09:29 A really beautiful, sweet moment the Lord used, used that moment.
09:33 And the great thing about it was a very, it was a very,
09:36 Spirit filled moment.
09:37 And the Holy Spirit was there.
09:39 And, you know, here's the thing, we all love being musicians.
09:43 We love this. Tim loves it.
09:45 It's just, I think, what we were born to kind of do.
09:48 At least at this moment in our life, okay? for now.
09:51 And so we're so honored to do it.
09:53 And it's a blast doing it.
09:55 But you know what? Here's the deal;
09:56 where we really get a kick out of it is when we
09:59 just really feel in the moment, Lord, this is Your's,
10:03 and everything is all coming together.
10:05 And even the sound might not be perfect, or this might not
10:08 be perfect, or the piano might be out of tune.
10:10 If it's out of tune it's probably better, because we can
10:12 sing out of tune a little bit, you know.
10:14 No you all sound... you all are perfectional.
10:17 They're professional.
10:19 You know it, when the Spirit just takes over? Yeah.
10:22 And it's not a magical thing. No!
10:24 It's not magic. It's a God thing.
10:26 It's a Jesus thing.
10:28 And so it was a sweet moment.
10:30 And I know that in all the campaigns going on,
10:32 all 9 or 10 campaigns that Spirit is happening.
10:36 And as the deeper we get into this I feel like the Lord is
10:39 really using and working.
10:41 And I've got to tell you, it is just a blast to
10:44 work with this guy.
10:45 I'm telling you, because it's...
10:47 And these two! Of course, these two!
10:48 It's fun to watch you guys work together, because, you know,
10:51 as professional musicians, and you guys have been given
10:54 a talent of the Lord. That's obvious. Amen!
10:56 And you're using it for Him, and that just is a wonderful thing.
10:59 A great example for those of us that, we're not,
11:01 Jill and I don't consider us really musicians.
11:03 We're not musicians.
11:04 Yes, you are. Jill is. Yes, she is, and Greg, too.
11:07 We all have talents though.
11:08 And that's where we utilize them; give them
11:10 to God; He blesses them.
11:11 But you guys have multi-talents.
11:12 We sing, that's; we sing.
11:14 We do music, but you're...
11:15 But Greg and Jill, I know you don't want to do this,
11:17 but you know what? We're so grateful for you guys,
11:20 and all that you do for 3ABN.
11:22 You now, and more than that, the bigger picture,
11:24 all you do for God's kingdom. That's right.
11:27 You know, and so that means a lot to us.
11:29 That's encouragement for us.
11:30 And because you always, you guys, you're always centered.
11:33 Not always a great day.
11:36 But you choose joy.
11:37 You choose joy every time.
11:39 But you choose joy.
11:40 That's Jesus.
11:41 Your gifts are so multifaceted.
11:43 And Jill never likes to me say this.
11:44 Every time I say this she says, Praise the Lord!
11:45 And it is, Praise the Lord!
11:47 But I just want to say, He has given you so many gifts to be
11:49 used, and you're using them to the full extent.
11:51 Well, we're so blessed to be a part of the team.
11:54 You know? Praise Jesus that He calls each one of us to minister.
11:58 That's right. And he called you at home to ministry.
12:01 And whether you're a musician, whether you're a singer,
12:04 whether you can speak for God; whatever you do
12:07 He calls you to ministry.
12:08 So we just want to encourage you to get involved in ministry;
12:12 to reach out, and to step out, and to share Jesus with your
12:14 neighbors, and friends, and those in your community.
12:16 Yeah, you know, speaking of neighbor, if you make a good
12:19 apple pie that can be your ministry to your neighbor.
12:22 Where we are staying, we are staying across the street from
12:26 the Archbishop of Canterbury.
12:28 And, you know, the Bible says to love your neighbor.
12:31 Well, it's important before you love your neighbor you've got to
12:33 know your neighbor, so you've got to get outside of your
12:37 comfort zone and...
12:38 I like apple pie. I do, too.
12:41 So whatever you do you can have a ministry right
12:47 there to your neighbor.
12:49 If you feel like you can't go to London from the states,
12:53 but you can go right next door.
12:55 And that sometimes is even greater,
12:56 leaving more of an impact than going across the pond.
13:00 I know it's going even a step further, but I often think about
13:04 people thinking their age limits their gifts, or their ministry.
13:08 And your age does not limit your ministry.
13:10 If you're still breathing, and you're still alive,
13:12 God has a ministry for you.
13:14 That's great! He really does.
13:15 And I don't want you to give up on that because somebody
13:17 needs you; you, yeah!
13:19 I mean we're in London and we're only here for a short time,
13:21 so we're going to be gone here, too.
13:23 But where you are, like Tim was saying, people need you.
13:26 That's just like your 98 year old friend on Facebook.
13:28 That's right. I have a 98 year old friend which, by the way,
13:31 I meant to say Happy Birthday to in London, Mr. Donald Jones.
13:35 He is 98, so vibrant, on Facebook.
13:38 He puts it all in caps, but he is on Facebook!
13:41 I'm not on Facebook.
13:42 I couldn't believe it!
13:44 I know that he isn't either.
13:47 He isn't either! But he's so vibrant.
13:49 She has a purpose, my friend, Annette, you know, Boyer.
13:52 She's 80 years young, and she runs circles around me.
13:55 But it doesn't even matter if it's hard for you,
13:58 it's hard for you to even get out of your house.
14:00 You still have a ministry.
14:01 And God, there's one person that God needs you to touch,
14:04 and to be a part of their lives.
14:05 And I really, I really hope that people can know that.
14:07 It's not about our age, it's not about the gifts.
14:10 It really isn't, because we all have gifts.
14:12 Like I was saying, Jill, you know, you have music too,
14:14 but the clerical part, the planning, the behind the scenes,
14:18 all that matters so much, encouraging somebody.
14:21 That's the biggest thing; encouraging somebody to take
14:24 another step forward for another day.
14:25 Praise the Lord! Yeah, it's definitely been a team effort
14:27 here, and it's fun to work together.
14:28 I have to say, yeah, it really...
14:30 And we're not done.
14:31 We've got more to go.
14:32 Yes, that's exciting.
14:34 And when we get home we have a lot to do.
14:35 Now speaking of music, we have a theme song;
14:37 a structured theme song that was written specifically
14:40 for this campaign.
14:42 And we have a montage of a few of the different
14:44 churches, but before we go to that let's talk about the theme
14:47 song a moment.
14:48 Tell me how it is has impacted you, or what you
14:50 all think about it.
14:52 Well, first of all, it's very catchy.
14:54 Which, as musicians; everyone, everywhere, yeah.
14:58 The melody is catching, the lyrics are catching,
15:00 and as singers and players, that's something we
15:03 definitely are attracted to.
15:05 Anything that we find that when we're looking for material,
15:08 we always look for something that we walk away
15:11 still humming it, or singing the words.
15:13 But for them to have such an impact, a ministry message.
15:18 With the words. You know, that it's the cry: Everyone,
15:23 everywhere, tell someone Jesus loves them. He's sharing love.
15:27 Just what we were just saying.
15:28 Yes! Exactly what we were just saying.
15:30 Sharing love, sharing hope, to everybody, everywhere
15:34 and everyone, everywhere.
15:36 Amen! Yeah, it's a wonderful...
15:37 Well done! That's right. Praise God.
15:40 It was written locally.
15:41 It was! It was written locally here at the South England
15:43 Conference specifically for this event.
15:45 So, Praise the Lord, that is what this campaign is all about;
15:48 telling someone that Jesus loves them.
15:51 Let's go to that at this time.
16:01 And to call me back one and all, across water, people all around.
16:16 They're trying to gather all of God's children,
16:23 to bring the truth to each and every land.
16:32 Everyone, everywhere, tell someone that Jesus loves them.
16:48 Sharing love, sharing hope, everybody, everywhere.
17:03 Everybody, everywhere!
17:10 Everyone, everywhere!
17:22 Amen. That's a blessing.
17:23 We've been talking, it seems like almost every iSIGHT
17:26 a little bit about the music, the praise team, or the special
17:30 music's, or what takes place during the series, the campaign.
17:34 But the theme song we've mentioned several times,
17:37 and we wanted to bring you just a snippet of the theme song.
17:39 That was actually from three different churches.
17:42 Brad Walker, our director, edited and kind
17:44 of put that together.
17:46 We heard from Kevin Hart's church at Chiswick.
17:48 We heard from Kenny Shelton's church at Hampstead,
17:51 as well as Croydon.
17:53 And we were downtown today hanging out with Reggie
17:56 and Ladye Love, and Tim.
17:57 But now we're back on the steps of the Croydon church.
18:01 Yeah, we've had a fun, busy, filled day that is for sure.
18:04 It was nice going there seeing that special, I don't know,
18:07 ceremony; a lot of pageantry like we were saying.
18:09 Having a nice time talking with Reggie,
18:12 Ladye Love, and Tim Parton.
18:13 You know, and the incredible gift that God has given to them,
18:15 and I know that they are involved in multiple churches
18:18 here bringing them wonderful music.
18:21 Yes, they each have a servant's heart.
18:24 You know, I really see that in them;
18:26 a desire to sing from their heart.
18:29 To use the gifts that God has given them in ministry.
18:32 And, you know, they could be singing for the world.
18:34 They could be going out and doing this,
18:36 but they've dedicated their talents for ministry.
18:38 And I know that the music is blessing and touching people
18:41 in preparation for the messages each evening.
18:44 Yeah, you're right.
18:45 And, you know, we're showing some of the footage around the
18:47 Buckingham Palace with the Changing of the Guard.
18:50 And you saw all those people.
18:51 When we were traveling down...
18:52 I know we've talked about the subway.
18:54 They call it the tube here, and just the crowds.
18:56 Well, we were down with the crew again trying to get to
18:59 downtown Central London, and they...
19:02 We came to a complete stop of people.
19:04 I couldn't believe it.
19:06 I actually took some photos.
19:07 I put the camera way above my head and took some shots.
19:09 And basically we came to a stand still because there were so many
19:12 people on the train platforms that they actually shut some
19:15 gates to keep people from piling onto the platforms.
19:17 And I was standing next to a guy; I mean I was just like
19:20 this; just people all around.
19:22 And I asked this guy, I said, Is this normal?
19:24 And he said, Yes, it is this time of day.
19:26 He said, We're at the breaking point.
19:28 And he said, I'm at the breaking point.
19:30 To be honest with you, he said, I'm going to tell my boss
19:32 today that I'm done.
19:34 I'm not going to do this anymore.
19:35 I'm going to quit this job and do something else.
19:37 Because he couldn't handle the commute, and just the pressure.
19:40 I mean people were not happy.
19:42 You could see that.
19:43 You now, everyone's just crowded together.
19:44 They're not getting to where they need to in a good time.
19:46 And so you think about the breaking point.
19:48 You know, I think multiple people can at different types
19:50 of breaking points in their personal lives.
19:53 And I think that's what's great about, again, this campaign
19:55 is that Jesus is the answer.
19:57 We all have that void inside of us that Jesus can fill.
20:00 And so to share Jesus with the people here in London,
20:03 in your community, around the world, is a tremendous blessing.
20:06 Amen, that's right.
20:08 And Reggie and Ladye, as we mentioned before,
20:09 and Tim Parton, are doing a wonderful job of sharing in
20:12 ministering through music Jesus' love.
20:16 And when we were downtown there in Buckingham Palace,
20:19 Reggie and Ladye just broke out into song right in
20:21 front of the palace.
20:23 They sang, My Redeemer is Faithful and True.
20:25 And we want to go to that just now.
20:29 My Redeemer is faithful and true.
20:37 And everything that He has said, He will do.
20:47 And every morning His mercies are new.
20:58 My Redeemer is faithful and true.
21:05 And in every situation He has proved His love to me.
21:14 When I lacked the understanding He gives more grace to me.
21:23 My Redeemer is faithful and true.
21:32 And everything that He has said, He will do.
21:41 And every morning His mercies are new.
21:54 My Redeemer is faithful and true.
22:04 Your Redeemer is faithful and true.
22:21 Thank you Reggie and Ladye Love.
22:22 Wow, incredible! My Redeemer is Faithful and True.
22:26 And boy, we can all say that, can't we?
22:28 You know, and they were standing there right in front
22:30 of the Buckingham Palace.
22:31 And, again, these are truly talented musicians.
22:33 And what a blessing!
22:35 Even with all the cars, and trucks, and vehicles going by,
22:38 they were right there ministering to people,
22:40 because there are multiple people standing around
22:42 enjoying the music, walking by.
22:44 You could see them, their ears, yeah, listening to what the
22:46 message was in song.
22:48 That's right. We didn't have fancy mikes or or any sort of
22:51 studio, or anything like that.
22:52 But they just sang for Jesus right there.
22:55 And that was incredible.
22:56 We want to go out tonight a little different.
22:58 Normally Greg and I are sitting on the steps; sometimes
23:01 together, sometimes with someone sitting here.
23:03 And then we go right into the service there
23:05 with Pastor Lomacang, right behind us in the Croydon church.
23:08 We will be coming to Pastor Lomacang after this.
23:11 But instead of ending with us on the steps here, we want to go
23:14 back to Buckingham Palace.
23:15 And Tim Parton, Reggie and Ladye Love, they sang a song
23:20 which I love, I will serve Thee because I love Thee,
23:25 You have given life to me.
23:27 That is what the Lord Jesus Christ has done for Greg and I,
23:31 for each person here.
23:32 That's His call to each person who's listening to the
23:37 messages night by night.
23:38 And that's His call to you at home.
23:40 Choose right now tonight, even while they sing this song,
23:44 to accept the Lord Jesus Christ into your heart and life,
23:48 and accept Him as your personal Savior. Amen.
23:53 I will serve Thee, because I love Thee.
24:04 You have given life to me.
24:17 I was nothing before You found me.
24:30 You have given life to me.
24:43 Heartaches, broken pieces, ruined lives are why
25:03 You died on Calvary.
25:13 Your touch was what I longed for.
25:25 You have given life to me.
