00:04 Friends, welcome to iSITE REVIEW.
00:06 Jill and I are standing in Trafalgar Square. 00:09 Not in, they don't call it downtown London, 00:11 they call it, actual central London. 00:13 So tell us exactly where we're standing in relation to 00:15 things here in London. 00:16 Well, right behind us is Big Ben. 00:18 It's just down Whitehall Street just a little bit. 00:20 And on the left side you would have Buckingham Palace. 00:24 You have to go through the mall. 00:25 But if you go down that way, Buckingham Palace. 00:27 And right in front of us, behind that camera there 00:29 is the National Gallery. 00:31 And we're standing here in London. 00:32 This site, Trafalgar Square, it is the commemoration of a great 00:36 British Naval victory back in 1805; the Battle of Trafalgar. 00:41 And it reminds me as we are engaged in this evangelistic 00:44 campaign right now, we're engaged in 00:46 the great controversy. 00:48 We see the battle for souls as it's being played out right now. 00:51 Yeah, that's true, because we know that Christ won. 00:53 He had victory at the cross for sure. 00:55 But here every day there are battles for a soul; 00:58 for each one of us. 01:00 You know, it's Christ and Satan. 01:01 And that's who we're saying, as far as the great controversy. 01:03 And that's what we're seeing here. 01:04 These evangelists are just preaching the word of God, 01:08 and people are standing up, as you've heard some of these 01:11 wonderful testimonies the last few days, and even today, 01:14 people that are making decisions for Jesus Christ. 01:18 Yeah, it's just wonderful to see lives being committed to Jesus. 01:23 Amen, and that's what the campaign is all about. 01:25 The first few nights, if you've been catching the meetings with 01:28 Pastor John Lomacang, he's been focusing on Jesus; 01:31 accepting Jesus as our personal Savior; knowing that He can 01:35 forgive us and cleanse us, and cover us with His righteous 01:38 white robe, and that He can enable us to walk in victory. 01:43 So if you think about the battle between Christ and Satan, 01:45 it has been won at the cross. 01:47 Jesus won it at the cross, and we all each day, personally, 01:51 have a decision to make to accept that. 01:53 Absolutely. And thank you for joining us on iSIGHT REVIEW. 01:56 And thank you for watching the series that immediately follows 01:58 this with Pastor John Lomacang from the Croydon church. 02:00 It's a beautiful day here in London. 02:02 It's a little breezy, as you can see. 02:04 The temperatures not too hot. 02:06 We have a beautiful fountain that's here. 02:08 And we hope that you're having a wonderful day. 02:10 But let's travel to, is it Stoke Newington? 02:12 We're going to Stoke Newington. 02:13 That's Shelley Quinn's church. 02:15 And we're going to hear two testimonies from some members 02:17 of the church just now. 02:22 I'm a member of the Stoke Newington Seventh-day 02:25 Adventist Church in London. 02:27 I'm here today just to let you know I'm enjoying the London 02:31 2016 One Life, Best You Can Be, Body, Mind, and Soul. 02:36 The meeting, it started four nights ago, 02:40 and I'm enjoying it so much. 02:42 I've become a member a year now: August 15, and I've never 02:47 experienced anything like this: the 3ABN. 02:50 And you've got Shelley Quinn here, and just her words alone 02:55 is inspiring me so much, and there's so much I can take away 02:59 to my friends, family, and also my church family. 03:03 Because just the way she presents it, 03:05 I'm understanding it, and breaking it down for me. 03:09 And the one thing that really hits home is about baptism. 03:12 Because the way she explained it to me, I can go away and 03:16 explain it to my colleagues at work also. 03:18 I'm so happy to be a part of this, 03:21 and I'm really enjoying it. 03:23 And, thank God, that I can be a part of this. 03:30 I'm a member of the Stoke Newingham SDA Church. 03:35 I've been here for, I think, eleven years now. 03:39 This One Life series of meetings; it is so powerful that 03:49 I have not missed a night here, and I have no 03:52 intention of missing any. 03:54 We thank God that Shelley and J. D. were able to come. 03:58 Shelley's doing a wonderful job. 04:00 I'm learning so much about the Bible. 04:02 It has driven me to go back home and look for a book that I was 04:07 studying from for a couple of years now, and I'm going to 04:10 re-visit this book, because I need to know more about Jesus. 04:14 We thank God for the ministry that Shelley and her husband, 04:17 J. D. are doing, and we look forward to wonderful 04:20 things from this series. 04:22 We hope that when they're finished, their lives have been 04:27 saved for the kingdom, because that's what it's all about. 04:31 We're just here to serve, and we're happy she's here to serve 04:34 us, along with her husband J. D. 04:36 And a soon as they wind down, we hope that we will have more 04:41 souls to go into the kingdom of God. 04:43 We're happy to have them. 04:45 It's all about the mind, soul, and body, 04:47 all in one as the Godhead. 04:51 So they, Shelley and J. D., do represent the way forward 04:58 to the Christian faith, the Christian path. 05:01 And we look forward... 05:03 We're happy they're here. 05:04 I'm going to miss them so much, because I've gotten attached 05:07 to them, but I know that we will see each other again 05:12 in the new kingdom. 05:14 Thank you very much for the wonderful report from the 05:16 Stoke Newingham church, which is Shelley and J. D.'s church. 05:19 It's neat isn't it? 05:20 We had someone that had been a member about a year, 05:22 someone else eleven years. 05:24 And, you know, it's neat to have involvement. 05:27 Because you can accept Jesus Christ, join the church, 05:29 but then if you don't become involved... 05:30 That's right. That would include you and me who grew up in the 05:33 church, the Seventh-day Adventist Church. 05:34 You know, we have to be involved, because by being 05:36 involved it takes us outside of ourselves and gets us involved 05:40 in a local church, and the local community. 05:42 And, you know, it's neat to see these churches here too, 05:44 because they have put a lot of effort. Amen. 05:46 I know the Crydon church, for sure, because that's the one 05:48 Jill and I are at, and they've had a lot of people 05:50 out on the streets. 05:51 And there's a little mall close by, and they've been out handing 05:54 out leaflets and tracks advertising the series as well. 05:57 But, anyway, Jill and I are here in Trafalgar Square. 06:00 Where we opened up was just right over this little brick 06:04 wall here, and down some steps. 06:05 And that's where we started out. 06:07 We're now up on, I want to call the second layer, 06:09 and we're again, closer to the National Gallery here 06:13 right outside Trafalgar Square; beautiful area. 06:15 You can see the fountain behind us, 06:16 and the lions way over there. 06:19 And maybe you can hear the sirens, too. 06:21 They're a little piercing here in London. 06:23 But it's a blessing to be here; to be involved in evangelism. 06:28 As you were talking about once you're a member you still need 06:31 to be involved in evangelism. 06:32 And I think God calls each one of us. 06:34 Because He could do the work without us. True. 06:37 He could have angels, He could impress people with dreams. 06:40 And He does that! But He wants to use you and me 06:44 because we need it for our selfishness. 06:47 To get out of ourselves, and to think about other people, 06:50 to pray for other people, to get involved in evangelism. 06:53 I mean that's what this entire campaign is about. 06:55 No, that's true. And so we're getting ready to go, 06:58 and actually, well, there's some conference officials that have 07:01 been tremendously supportive of this campaign; 07:04 the Southern England or South England Conference. 07:08 I'll get it straight; South England Conference. 07:11 And we need to remember to pray for Elder de Lisser. 07:13 He's the Conference President. 07:14 He's had some health issues, so Elder Osei is 07:18 the acting president. 07:20 And so they've been all so very supportive. 07:22 And we get to go to a couple of interviews now. 07:24 We will. The North Wimbley church. 07:26 This is Pastor Phillip Wesley's church. 07:28 And he's there, and he interviewed 07:30 Elder Osei and Sam Davies. 07:33 And he's communication director for the 07:35 South England Conference. 07:36 And they're traveling around every night. 07:38 They go to a different venue and get to share and 07:41 experience what's going on. 07:42 So we want to hear that interview at this time. 07:48 Hey, iSITE! How you doing? 07:51 This is Pastor Phil. 07:52 I am here with the acting president of the South England 07:55 Conference, Pastor Osei, and also our communication leader, 07:59 Pastor Sam Davies. 08:01 And we are so excited to be here at this One Life campaign. 08:05 Pastor, can you tell us about the experience you've been 08:07 having all around the conference? 08:09 The experience has been phenomenal. 08:11 It's really exciting to go around to the various venues 08:15 and to listen to the word of God being preached. 08:18 But it more so to see members just being fired up and excited 08:23 just to listen to the word of God. 08:25 It's just been a joy to see the exuberance upon the faces of 08:30 members as they are just enthralled by the messages 08:33 preached night by night. 08:35 It's been an awesome experience. 08:37 I'm enjoying it very much indeed. 08:38 Awesome, and now you are communicating what's 08:41 going on out there. 08:42 How's that experience been communicating to the world 08:45 what's going on here? 08:46 I have to say that its been an excellent campaign. 08:51 I've been to four places so far, and the spirit 08:55 seems to be the same. 08:57 Of course, in some of the churches you 08:59 have fewer audiences. 09:01 But I was impressed in terms of the audience here tonight 09:05 and the excitement. 09:06 And it was good to see you really in the Spirit, 09:09 especially starting with the song. 09:11 And I was physically... I got into the Spirit. 09:15 It was sitting there. 09:16 But I have to say that the Lord has been behind all of this. 09:19 We were discussing this at the office today in 09:24 terms of the streaming. 09:26 And it's very interesting to hear that a lot of the young 09:29 people who are watching, they have actually picked enough 09:33 Wimbley one as their favorite. 09:35 Wow! So we praise the Lord. 09:37 And it's nice to be here tonight. 09:39 Hey, you all hear that? 09:41 It's happening right here at the North Wimbley Seventh-day 09:43 Adventist Church. And we thank you for joining here on another 09:46 iSIGHT with our administration right here in the house. 09:50 God bless! 09:55 Hey everybody! Welcome to another episode of iSITE REVIEW, 10:00 with Pastor Phil, and I am with my friend, Elisianna. Elisianna! 10:05 How you doing? I'm doing good Pastor. 10:08 How's your experience been here? 10:10 It was really a good experience, and I enjoyed yesterday 10:16 like it was something taking me to a higher level than where 10:19 I was yesterday before I walked in. 10:22 Praise God! And what do you expect God to do in your life? 10:27 I want God to be always with me in my life. 10:35 Wherever I go He has been so wonderful. 10:41 I have seen His mercies every day of my life. 10:43 And my daughter is a blessing, like... 10:45 What's your name? Kay. 10:47 Alright, welcome! And have you, did you have a good time? 10:51 Yeah. Awesome! Well, we thank you for joining us on iSITE. 10:56 And we are here. We want you to keep joining in with 11:00 us to One Life. org. UK God bless you! 11:05 Thank you so much Pastor Phil. 11:07 What a blessing to hear both testimonies. I'm sure it was. 11:10 Both the interview he did with the conference brethren 11:12 as well as the mom and her daughter. 11:13 And I think, as I think about that, it's a precious thing 11:17 to see the kids come to the campaigns. 11:20 I know at the Croydon church we have one mom. 11:22 She has four kids; and they're pretty little. 11:25 And every night they sit in the back, right in front of Michael 11:29 actually, at the audio board. 11:30 They're sometimes the first people there. 11:31 They are! They come early. 11:33 And every night I go to see them, and talk to them, 11:35 and you think of Jesus when He walked this earth. 11:39 He had a heart for children. That's true. 11:41 Come! The Disciples, what did they say? He's busy. 11:44 He's got important people to talk to. 11:46 Just don't pay attention to the kids. 11:48 But He said, No. I came for children as well. Uh huh, yeah. 11:53 And He sat them on His knee and He blessed them. 11:55 So I love to see kids coming to the campaigns. 11:58 Right now Greg and I have just kind of rotated a little bit 12:01 around the circle, and now the National Gallery 12:04 is right behind us here. 12:06 It houses art from, I think it's the 13th to the 19th Century; 12:12 And you can see there's street art. 12:14 They're working with chalk I guess, huh? 12:17 You step on this on the sidewalk, and she's actually 12:21 doing this chalk art. 12:23 There's a lot of different street artists that are here; 12:25 amazing talent actually that these people have. 12:27 You know, that's the thing though, when God has given us 12:29 talent, He's given us all talents. 12:31 And the thing is that we want the ability to use our talents 12:34 for the Lord Jesus Christ. 12:36 So we think about all of these speakers and evangelists, 12:38 this is a talent that God has given to them. 12:40 And here they are sharing God's word with the 12:42 people here at London. 12:43 Amen, Amen! We're going to the Hampstead church next. 12:46 We're going to hear from Chris Shelton, and she's interviewing 12:50 a couple more people from the South England Conference who are 12:53 traveling around to the different churches. 12:55 And let's go to that interview right now. 13:00 Praise God, we've got Brother Simon and Brother, 13:04 tell me one more... Douglas here with us tonight. 13:06 They are with the South England Conference. 13:09 They've been visiting a lot of sites. 13:11 And here tonight they're at the Hampstead church. 13:13 Brother what have you been experiencing? 13:14 maybe even here tonight, or with at the other churches? 13:17 What I've been experiencing? 13:19 I mean I like what was spoken of this evening. 13:21 It's all about being connected. 13:23 And I think it was a very powerful message. 13:25 I appreciate also the exercise. 13:28 Actually, before we started we're getting a lot of very, 13:32 very useful health tips as we go from place to place. 13:35 So I was very, very, very, very, interested to hear that. 13:38 We need to connect with our physical health 13:40 as well as spiritually. 13:41 Spiritual, that's right. 13:43 And that's really what all of this campaign is about. 13:44 It's One Life, and we're trying to see and integrate all areas 13:50 of life, including the spiritual. 13:51 I was very happy for the message. 13:53 You know Jesus said, didn't He? Blessed are the poor in spirit, 13:56 for theirs is the kingdom. 13:58 The kingdom of heaven. 13:59 And it doesn't matter where you are in life, if you have the 14:01 opportunity to be connected with Jesus Christ. 14:04 Well that message came through very clearly tonight. 14:06 We saw some people going up and, yeah, it was good. 14:11 That message is important. That's the gospel. 14:12 Very important, because the Holy Spirit was calling. 14:15 And as we mentioned in our meetings, He not only calls, 14:18 but He equips. Isn't that beautiful? 14:20 Brother Douglas, how about you? 14:22 Has the Holy Spirit touched your heart? 14:24 Oh, absolutely. You know, London's an 14:26 increasingly secular city. 14:28 And, you know, the message, the gospel 14:31 message needs to be heard. 14:33 And people didn't know that it can change their lives, 14:37 and that Christ can make a difference in their lives. 14:40 And in there, not just, you know, at the weekends, 14:42 but, you know, it makes a difference every day. 14:45 So it's wonderful to hear the gospel being preached here. 14:48 That's one reason it is so vital that 3ABN does what it does 14:53 and it stays on the air. 14:55 That is a God ordained, God raised television station, 14:59 television network, and I'm so glad that all of us can work 15:02 together, and be a part of this wonderful campaign. 15:04 God bless each and every one of you. 15:06 Thank you for stopping by. 15:07 God bless. Thank you very much. 15:10 Thank you Chris and Pastor Kenny. 15:12 And we again, appreciate the SEC's support for the London 15:15 2016 evangelistic series campaign. 15:19 It is a blessing to be able to work together. 15:21 3ABN, I know that Mr. Danny Shelton appreciates that, too. 15:24 Being able to work together, and to be able to do this 15:26 evangelistic series to reach souls for Jesus Christ. Amen. 15:30 Now a little other history tidbit. 15:32 We're again at another angle at Trafalgar Square. 15:35 And I know you love history. 15:37 I do. I love history. 15:38 At one time they say that there were 35,000 pigeons. 15:42 They call them Feral pigeons here, but it becomes... 15:44 You said 35,000? 35,000 pigeons. 15:47 And they said their droppings, not to be gross, were actually 15:50 causing issues with the pavement. 15:52 I guess it was sort of eating away at the stonework, 15:55 and things right here. 15:57 And, of course, it's a real mess. 15:58 So in 2001 they actually made it illegal to sell feed. 16:02 There were people selling like little cracked corn or seed that 16:05 they could feed to the pigeons. 16:06 So they made that illegal. 16:08 Now we still saw just a few little pigeons walking 16:10 around, but not 35,000. 16:13 Now right behind us you can probably see the 16:15 fountain that's going on. 16:16 And when you see water, and you think of water, the pastor asked 16:19 for baptism, the decision for baptism here recently. 16:22 And I know that several people have stood already, 16:24 and made the decision to be baptized, to make that, again, 16:28 that commitment to Jesus Christ. 16:30 And it's a precious thing to see people make a decision, 16:33 because it's a commitment to accept Christ as their Savior. 16:36 That's right. It's been an incredible blessing. 16:38 We have kind of group emails going on between all the 16:41 speakers, because London is a big city. 16:44 I think before we came here I hadn't realized that. 16:46 So it's not like we can get together all the time and share 16:50 what's going on, so we do a lot of group emails. 16:52 And the speakers will say, Tonight so many people stood. 16:55 Or another speaker will email and say, This is what's going on 16:58 at my church, and I need your special prayer here. 17:01 So praise the Lord for that; for this coming together to share 17:04 the gospel of Jesus Christ. 17:06 And that is a blessing. 17:07 It absolutely is. And I know the night that the pastor was asking 17:11 for baptism he actually sang part of the song. 17:13 For those of you that have watched 3ABN for a number of 17:15 years, you remember the Pillars project? Right. 17:17 And the one song, Take Me To the Water To Be Baptized. 17:20 And it's, yeah, it's again following Christ and His example 17:23 of being baptized by immersion. 17:24 Amen, that's right. And now we're going to go to a little 17:27 different type of iSITE REVIEW. 17:29 Most of them are the speakers, or the speakers spouse, 17:32 interviewing someone there at the church. 17:34 But right now we want to hear from some of the people 17:37 on the ground: the bus drivers. Absolutely. 17:39 We have an incredible bus driver, Patrick, 17:42 and you're going to hear his testimony in just a little bit. 17:44 But first we want to hear from some of the other sites. 17:47 We're going to go first to London Ghana. 17:48 This is Pastor Corey Jackson's church. 17:51 And we'll see him actually in his vehicle. 17:53 We'll get to see the driver as they go from the 17:55 hotel to his church. 17:56 We also want to check out Shelley Quinn 17:58 and her bus driver, she and J. D. 18:01 So let's go to that interview right now. 18:09 This is Pastor Jackson. 18:10 We are traveling through London for the iSITE on our way to 18:14 London Ghana, and my driver has come to get me. 18:18 I'm going to show him to you. 18:20 His name is: Kwadwo Densi Omega. 18:23 Spell it. Kwadwo, that is for Kwadwo, and Demiden, 18:28 that people used to call me Densi, Densi. Yes. 18:32 That's fine. And we are driving through London, 18:36 singularly in a hurry. 18:38 We've got to get to the site tonight. 18:41 But London is a very crowded seemly city, 18:45 where everybody is on the move. 18:48 And we stop at every single light, it seemed like. 18:51 People are everywhere. 18:53 But we're here at the Car Port, which is the Stratford 18:56 Bus Station in Westfield. 19:00 And it's one of the largest malls in Europe, I'm told. 19:05 And we're staying here at the Holiday Inn. 19:07 So it's a nice little ride. 19:10 And as you see, we remain at the light longer than I thought. 19:14 And so as we travel in, this is Pastor Jackson with 19:18 3ABN iSITE signing off. 19:21 Oh, and just one tidbit before we sign off, this is where the 19:25 Olympic Games were in 2012. 19:29 And so it's a very busy area, as you can see. 19:32 So again, Pastor Jackson signing off 3ABN iSITE. 19:42 Hi, I'm Shelley Quinn, and we're here with the man of the hour. 19:45 This is Sammy Herren, who has been our, 19:49 I guess you could say he's our host. 19:52 He's been our driver. 19:53 He's my bodyguard. 19:55 He's just been everything. 19:56 He's so gracious. Sammy has a wonderful ministry of bringing 20:01 people to church all the time. 20:03 And, Sammy, you actually had an experience where like many 20:07 people, you rebelled. 20:09 God did a miracle in our life and healed you. 20:12 Tell us how He's brought you back now and what you're doing. 20:16 Ah, well, what happened, I went away on holiday 20:19 to St. Lucia in 2007. 20:21 I had a massive stroke; was unable to talk or walk. 20:28 And I just said, God, if You're real, make me talk, 20:32 just to prove that You are real. 20:34 And I'm now walking and talking, so... 20:37 And it was overnight. 20:39 It was over night, because I had prayed on the Friday night, 20:43 and the Saturday morning I was able to talk and walk. 20:46 So, what I have noticed about you, Sammy, is you really 20:50 know the Bible well. 20:51 He's somebody who if someone of another religion comes by, 20:57 and tries to convince him at his home of something else, 21:00 he can change it in a hurry. 21:01 But what do you think of this series? 21:02 What do you think of this whole idea of... 21:05 I find with the series it's good. 21:08 It's making me see things in a new light that I didn't, 21:12 well I knew, but it's making me expand more into what the Bible 21:19 is saying, and how God is, He can use you to do 21:24 what He wants to do. 21:26 Amen! Well, Sammy, we just want you to know, J. D. and I 21:29 love you, and we appreciate you so much. 21:31 And without Sammy this would have been an impossible trip. 21:35 So he has been, as I said, the man of the hour. 21:41 Thank you Pastor Corey Jackson, and Shelley Quinn, 21:43 and the drivers from all of the sites. 21:46 I tell you, you guys are really special. 21:48 And you are driving us around. 21:50 And we have our driver with us. 21:51 That's right. We have Patrick here. 21:54 He is our driver here, and he's been with us the entire time 21:59 we have been here in London. 22:00 It's such a blessing. 22:02 He picks us up early. 22:03 We have some long hours getting everything done and edited 22:06 for the programs for you. 22:07 And he stays late at the church, and he brings 22:09 us back to the hotel. 22:10 And it's been such a blessing. 22:12 So we want to share just a little bit of 22:15 Patrick's testimony. 22:16 As you can see, we're not in Trafalgar Square anymore. 22:18 We're not, are we? We're back at the Croydon 22:21 Seventh-day Adventist Church. 22:22 We've had a wonderful day in Central London. 22:24 And the Lord is blessing in a mighty way. 22:27 And in a few, oh moments, people will start coming up 22:30 these stairs into this evenings meeting with 22:32 Pastor John Lomacang, and Pastor Daly, and this entire team here 22:35 at the Croydon Seventh-day Adventist Church. 22:37 And Patrick is a part of that team. 22:40 And there are a lot of team members here for sure. 22:42 There are. So tell us, Patrick, we want to hear about your 22:46 testimony, but first of all tell us, Do you like driving? 22:49 Yeah, I enjoy driving. 22:51 It's a pleasure for me to take you around. 22:53 I want to say you have gotten a few little gasps, or like Ah! 22:58 Because for one thing, we're not used to driving on 23:00 the other side of the road. 23:01 But you were doing a great job. 23:03 So it has nothing to do with your driving. 23:04 You're doing a great job at driving. 23:05 We're just not quite used to it. 23:07 But it seems as though sometimes when you're driving that van... 23:10 By the way, it is a van. 23:11 This is not a little car. 23:13 He's driving a whole crew. 23:14 Is it a bus? It's a bus. 23:16 Yeah. The whole 3ABN crew are around. 23:18 And sometimes the places you get us through 23:20 is absolutely amazing. 23:21 And I don't know if you can shrink the bus... 23:25 Yeah, well, if you try you'll adjust to the situation. 23:28 The driving here in London to me is confusing, 23:32 but you have done a marvelous job. 23:34 And you have brought the crew back from when we have worked 23:37 late into the early morning hours editing some of 23:39 these programs together. 23:41 You've been just a joy. 23:42 No complaints. Just like, Sure, whatever, no problem. 23:45 And that's a huge ministry. 23:47 Thank you. It's a pleasure working with you all. 23:49 Tell us a little bit about your testimony. 23:51 Because Patrick has a powerful testimony. 23:54 You grew up in the church, and then you left the church. 23:57 So tell us about your journey back to God. 23:59 I grew up in the church, but I wasn't in the church. 24:02 I attend church just because my parents attend church. 24:04 But when, after leaving home, I was happy to go out into the 24:10 world and chase the pleasures of the world. 24:13 I don't mean to interrupt you there Patrick, but those things 24:16 don't bring happiness, do they at all? 24:18 No, it doesn't. It's more of despair. 24:21 There's no hope. Emptiness? Emptiness. 24:23 I realized there's something lacking in my life. 24:26 I faced a challenging situation at one point and decided, 24:31 I want to come back to church. Wow! 24:33 I came to church. Sitting in church, but that was not enough. 24:37 Attending church... There's something more that I need 24:42 that I couldn't get. 24:44 I realized many members are saying, Oh, what a 24:47 mighty God we serve. 24:48 I didn't know what they were feeling. 24:50 I wanted to feel something different within me. 24:52 So you wanted to experience God for yourself? 24:55 Yes. I wanted to experience Him for myself. 24:57 So I went and had a word with the pastor and said, Look, 25:00 I want to make a change in my life. 25:03 I know this is the right way. 25:04 This is the right church. 25:05 But I haven't got that desire to serve God. 25:08 And he read a bit of the Scripture, and then we prayed 25:12 for God to give me that desire. 25:14 And suddenly there's that immediate change in my life. 25:17 The desire that I have for the things of the world just went. 25:22 I had no craving for the things of the world anymore. 25:25 And I realized I have that right spirit to serve God. 25:29 Amen! You know that's the work of the Holy Spirit, isn't it? 25:33 Yes, it is indeed. And it was a transformation in my life, 25:38 which surprised me. 25:40 I didn't... It's just, you have to experience it to understand 25:44 what I'm talking about. 25:46 You know, and that's what they call the 25:47 transformation, isn't it? 25:49 Yes, it is real transformation. 25:51 And that was immediate. 25:52 You said, right then when you prayed, you and Pastor Daly got 25:55 down and prayed, and then right after that 25:57 God changed your heart. 25:59 Like I knew it, there's a difference within me. 26:01 And I could go home. 26:03 I could empty all the alcohol I had at home. 26:06 I could get rid of all of the things that I craved for once, 26:10 I craved for them no more. Wow! 26:12 I just had that desire to serve God. 26:14 Amen! That's a praise the Lord! 26:17 And you're active in the church here. 26:19 We just have a moment left, but tell us some of the things that 26:21 you're involved in here at church. 26:23 Yeah. I'm involved with... 26:24 Well, what I meant, in driving the bus. 26:27 Taking the disabled members to and from church. 26:33 I'm a deacon. I'm a part of the Prison Ministry as well. Amen! 26:38 I will tell you that when the crew was here working late 26:43 we find you, Patrick, you're maybe cleaning the bathroom, 26:47 vacuuming the floor. 26:49 This guy doesn't sit still. 26:51 And what a testimony for the Lord Jesus. 26:52 And we love you Brother Patrick. 26:54 Thank you so much for your work here in the campaign of 26:57 London 2016, for your friendship to all of us, 27:00 the crew here at 3ABN. 27:02 You, and the rest of the staff here at the Croydon Seventh-day 27:05 Adventist Church have treated us just, Oh my, just incredibly. 27:09 And the Lord bless you for your testimony. 27:12 Thank you. Thank you so much for joining us for this iSITE. 27:16 Know that we love you and that we pray for you at home, 27:19 and that we're praying that as you are even watching these 27:23 meetings that you are making decisions; choosing to accept 27:27 Jesus for yourself, choosing to get involved in church. 27:30 And reach out and evangelize your friends and neighbors, 27:33 and those in your community. 27:35 That's all the time we have for tonight. 27:36 We will see you again tomorrow night. Bye bye. |
