00:03:44.89\00:03:45.75 [SHAWN] Henry was a legend. 00:03:45.75\00:03:46.82 Henry loved people. 00:03:46.82\00:03:48.56 Henry loved winning people to 00:03:48.56\00:03:50.43 Christ more than anything 00:03:50.43\00:03:52.36 in the world. 00:03:52.36\00:03:53.26 He just absolutely lived for it. 00:03:53.26\00:03:54.36 I mean, he bought a bus at one 00:03:54.36\00:03:55.66 point just so he could tour 00:03:55.66\00:03:55.96 point just so he could tour 00:03:56.36\00:03:56.73 Canada and go from town to town 00:03:57.13\00:03:58.50 and hold public meetings where 00:03:58.50\00:04:00.07 people could investigate the 00:04:00.07\00:04:01.27 scriptures with him and get to 00:04:01.27\00:04:02.87 know Christ. 00:04:02.87\00:04:04.04 know Christ. 00:04:04.04\00:04:04.37 I've never seen that level of 00:04:04.74\00:04:06.71 dedication. 00:04:06.71\00:04:07.61 I mean, he literally died 00:04:07.61\00:04:09.31 on the job eventually, right to 00:04:09.31\00:04:12.21 the end, serving Christ, leading 00:04:12.21\00:04:14.12 people to Christ. 00:04:14.12\00:04:15.18 My first impression was, man, 00:04:15.18\00:04:16.85 I've never met somebody so 00:04:16.85\00:04:18.79 dedicated to anything 00:04:18.79\00:04:20.66 in my life. 00:04:20.66\00:04:21.89 And I found it contagious. 00:04:21.89\00:04:22.99 To hang out with Henry rubs off 00:04:22.99\00:04:24.39 on you, and next thing you know, 00:04:24.39\00:04:25.96 I'm doing it every day probably 00:04:25.96\00:04:27.66 for the rest of my life. 00:04:27.66\00:04:29.20 >> An inquiry was called to 00:04:29.20\00:04:30.60 determine the cause of the 00:04:30.60\00:04:31.97 accident. 00:04:31.97\00:04:33.60 The signalman was called 00:04:33.60\00:04:35.04 to the stand. 00:04:35.04\00:04:36.44 "Did you hear the approaching 00:04:36.44\00:04:37.81 train?" he was asked. 00:04:37.81\00:04:39.44 "What did you do to warn the 00:04:39.44\00:04:40.98 engineer of the danger?" 00:04:40.98\00:04:43.04 "I waved my lantern 00:04:43.85\00:04:45.48 back and forth..." 00:04:45.48\00:04:46.35 [DOUG] I think one thing that 00:04:46.35\00:04:47.35 people really enjoyed about 00:04:47.35\00:04:48.42 Henry's presentations was it was 00:04:48.42\00:04:49.62 full of stories. 00:04:49.62\00:04:50.62 I mean, there was- 00:04:50.62\00:04:51.82 he would never 00:04:51.82\00:04:52.32 he would never 00:04:52.32\00:04:53.89 cease to amaze me, these stories 00:04:53.89\00:04:55.72 he'd come up with. 00:04:55.72\00:04:56.62 I mean, it seemed like every 00:04:56.62\00:04:57.73 situation in a, you know, 00:04:57.73\00:04:59.63 every sermon he told, 00:04:59.63\00:05:01.86 every broadcast he produced, 00:05:01.86\00:05:02.50 every broadcast he produced, 00:05:02.50\00:05:04.07 it was just full of stories that 00:05:04.07\00:05:05.83 perfectly illustrated, you know, 00:05:05.83\00:05:07.87 the principle that he was trying 00:05:07.87\00:05:08.97 to convey. 00:05:08.97\00:05:10.24 [SHAWN] Jesus was a storyteller. 00:05:10.24\00:05:12.31 If you look at it, most of the 00:05:12.31\00:05:12.74 If you look at it, most of the 00:05:12.97\00:05:14.91 gospels are stories. 00:05:14.91\00:05:16.14 Jesus told, what, 40, 42 00:05:16.14\00:05:17.98 parables, something like that in 00:05:17.98\00:05:19.51 the Gospels, and Henry was 00:05:19.51\00:05:21.15 following in those footsteps. 00:05:21.15\00:05:22.42 And man, could he tell a tale. 00:05:22.42\00:05:24.39 He'd pull you in. 00:05:24.39\00:05:25.39 He'd give you just enough detail 00:05:25.39\00:05:27.89 that you wonder where in the 00:05:27.89\00:05:29.09 world is this going? 00:05:29.09\00:05:30.43 Because it would be just quirky 00:05:30.43\00:05:32.16 enough, just interesting enough. 00:05:32.16\00:05:34.13 Even if you kind of thought you 00:05:34.13\00:05:35.66 were gonna leave the meeting 00:05:35.66\00:05:36.77 early, you won't leave the 00:05:36.77\00:05:37.97 meeting early because Henry's 00:05:37.97\00:05:39.47 telling a story. 00:05:39.47\00:05:40.84 And he'd pull the punch line, 00:05:40.84\00:05:42.64 not that it was a joke, but 00:05:42.64\00:05:43.81 there was always a punchline. 00:05:43.81\00:05:44.81 There was always the delivery of 00:05:44.81\00:05:46.17 either the really important fact 00:05:46.17\00:05:48.41 from Scripture, or there was the 00:05:48.41\00:05:50.68 delivery of a bonding moment 00:05:50.68\00:05:52.61 where you just felt like you'd 00:05:52.61\00:05:53.88 got to know the guy personally. 00:05:53.88\00:05:55.45 got to know the guy personally. 00:05:55.45\00:05:55.88 And the stories he told, I'd be 00:05:56.22\00:05:58.12 in stitches. 00:05:58.12\00:05:58.99 I used to go to his house in 00:05:58.99\00:06:00.39 Waldheim, Saskatchewan, and we 00:06:00.39\00:06:02.86 were supposed to be working on 00:06:02.86\00:06:04.13 TV shows, but he'd end up 00:06:04.13\00:06:05.46 telling stories till like one, 00:06:05.46\00:06:06.86 two in the morning and I'd be 00:06:06.86\00:06:07.23 two in the morning and I'd be 00:06:07.56\00:06:08.20 wiping the tears out of my eyes. 00:06:08.20\00:06:10.50 People don't know that about him 00:06:10.50\00:06:11.93 always from the TV appearances, 00:06:11.93\00:06:13.37 because he was always kind of 00:06:13.37\00:06:14.74 proper, but the stories... 00:06:14.74\00:06:17.71 I learned a lot from the guy. 00:06:17.71\00:06:18.91 To this day, I'm a storyteller 00:06:18.91\00:06:20.84 as well, and I think I picked a 00:06:20.84\00:06:22.18 lot of that up from Henry 00:06:22.18\00:06:23.35 Feyerabend. 00:06:23.35\00:06:24.31 Stories are where people are. 00:06:24.31\00:06:24.88 Stories are where people are. 00:06:25.01\00:06:25.85 Stories is what people can 00:06:25.85\00:06:26.95 relate to, and he instinctively 00:06:26.95\00:06:28.48 knew that. 00:06:28.48\00:06:29.48 >> Who would have thought 00:06:30.02\00:06:31.35 that within less than two years, 00:06:31.35\00:06:33.49 even the Kremlin, his last 00:06:33.49\00:06:35.42 stronghold, Gorbachev's third 00:06:35.42\00:06:37.93 floor... 00:06:37.93\00:06:38.63 [DOUG] I have very fond memories 00:06:38.63\00:06:40.73 of in between takes 00:06:40.73\00:06:41.16 of in between takes 00:06:41.23\00:06:42.93 on location, you know, in Brazil 00:06:42.93\00:06:44.73 somewhere, we're sitting down in 00:06:44.73\00:06:45.83 between takes, working on some 00:06:45.83\00:06:46.97 script, and all of a sudden 00:06:46.97\00:06:48.04 Henry pops up with some story 00:06:48.04\00:06:50.21 that I've never heard before. 00:06:50.21\00:06:51.44 You figure you spend enough 00:06:51.44\00:06:52.57 years with a guy, you're gonna 00:06:52.57\00:06:54.18 hear all the stories, right? 00:06:54.18\00:06:55.68 [SHAWN] He got a boat, and I 00:06:57.01\00:06:58.38 looked at the thing, and the 00:06:58.38\00:06:59.15 looked at the thing, and the 00:06:59.15\00:06:59.45 boat was a piece of junk. 00:06:59.78\00:07:00.68 Oh my goodness, it was awful. 00:07:00.68\00:07:02.25 But it's what he had and he was 00:07:02.25\00:07:03.92 so proud of it. 00:07:03.92\00:07:04.75 Let's go out fishing or 00:07:04.75\00:07:06.32 go out on the lake. 00:07:06.32\00:07:07.29 Let's have fun together. 00:07:07.29\00:07:08.59 So we put it in the lake, we're 00:07:08.59\00:07:09.82 in northern Saskatchewan 00:07:09.82\00:07:11.76 and we're out having a nice day. 00:07:11.76\00:07:13.13 The fishing's horrible, we're 00:07:13.13\00:07:14.66 not catching much. 00:07:14.66\00:07:16.23 And eventually he sees 00:07:16.23\00:07:18.80 whitecaps forming on the far 00:07:18.80\00:07:20.24 end of the lake. 00:07:20.24\00:07:21.10 He said, "Oh, there's a storm 00:07:21.10\00:07:22.10 brewing, Shawn, we gotta get off 00:07:22.10\00:07:23.34 the water." 00:07:23.34\00:07:24.24 I said, "Fair enough. 00:07:24.24\00:07:25.27 Let's get off the water." 00:07:25.27\00:07:26.37 He said, "But not before I show 00:07:26.37\00:07:27.54 you what my boat can do." 00:07:27.54\00:07:29.31 I said, "Really?" 00:07:29.31\00:07:30.28 And I knew it couldn't do much. 00:07:30.28\00:07:31.31 I mean, I could see it. 00:07:31.31\00:07:32.35 It's a piece of junk. 00:07:32.35\00:07:33.21 There's no way it's gonna... 00:07:33.21\00:07:34.12 He says, "No, no, no, buckle up, 00:07:34.12\00:07:35.45 man, this is gonna be amazing. 00:07:35.45\00:07:36.82 Sit down." 00:07:36.82\00:07:37.69 So I sit down and he hits the 00:07:37.69\00:07:39.22 throttle, and this thing, I'll 00:07:39.22\00:07:40.79 give him credit, it takes off 00:07:40.79\00:07:42.26 like a rocket ship. Voop! 00:07:42.26\00:07:43.59 I mean, we practically left the 00:07:43.59\00:07:45.26 water over a wave. 00:07:45.26\00:07:47.03 And I thought, that is 00:07:47.03\00:07:48.66 impressive, Henry. 00:07:48.66\00:07:49.76 And suddenly it came to a dead 00:07:49.76\00:07:51.10 stop, like we'd hit a brick 00:07:51.10\00:07:52.70 wall, which doesn't happen 00:07:52.70\00:07:54.27 on water. 00:07:54.27\00:07:55.10 You don't come to dead stops 00:07:55.10\00:07:56.20 on the water. 00:07:56.20\00:07:57.24 And I'm recovering a little bit, 00:07:57.24\00:08:00.28 and trying to get my balance 00:08:00.28\00:08:02.28 from stopping so suddenly, and 00:08:02.28\00:08:03.68 it suddenly takes off again. 00:08:03.68\00:08:04.88 It lurches at about 20 degrees 00:08:04.88\00:08:06.38 that way, takes off again, and 00:08:06.38\00:08:08.18 then it comes to another dead 00:08:08.18\00:08:09.38 stop, and we're lurching across 00:08:09.38\00:08:10.99 the lake, and I'm- we're on the 00:08:10.99\00:08:12.49 bottom of the boat and I'm 00:08:12.49\00:08:13.46 saying, "Henry, this is 00:08:13.46\00:08:14.96 quite a boat. 00:08:14.96\00:08:15.92 I mean, really, what a ride." 00:08:15.92\00:08:18.13 And he's like, "I don't 00:08:18.13\00:08:19.19 understand it." 00:08:19.19\00:08:20.10 Well, it turns out we had the 00:08:20.10\00:08:21.60 anchor out the whole time, and 00:08:21.60\00:08:23.77 it was catching every log and 00:08:23.77\00:08:25.40 dead head in that lake as we 00:08:25.40\00:08:26.84 were trying to cruise across 00:08:26.84\00:08:28.14 the lake. 00:08:28.14\00:08:28.97 And so, yeah, lurch, stop. 00:08:28.97\00:08:30.04 It's fortunate we didn't rip the 00:08:30.04\00:08:31.31 back end of that boat off. 00:08:31.31\00:08:32.47 So to the day he died, we were 00:08:32.47\00:08:34.08 laughing about his amazing boat 00:08:34.08\00:08:35.84 that could lurch us across. 00:08:35.84\00:08:37.61 We just about killed us. 00:08:37.61\00:08:38.21 We just about killed us. 00:08:38.21\00:08:39.18 >> On today's program, we talked 00:08:39.18\00:08:40.68 about miniature microphones. 00:08:40.68\00:08:42.98 I'm wearing one behind my tie. 00:08:42.98\00:08:45.45 And here is just what it 00:08:46.22\00:08:47.39 looks like. 00:08:47.39\00:08:48.39 [laughter] 00:08:48.39\00:08:51.03 [SHAWN] There was one event late 00:08:51.03\00:08:52.49 in life, he developed an 00:08:52.49\00:08:53.83 unfortunate hematoma. 00:08:53.83\00:08:56.23 He got a cancer in his knee. 00:08:56.23\00:08:58.60 And I was living in the United 00:08:58.60\00:08:59.23 And I was living in the United 00:08:59.23\00:09:00.44 States by this point and I was 00:09:00.44\00:09:01.97 waiting for green cards to come 00:09:01.97\00:09:03.37 through, so I couldn't come up 00:09:03.37\00:09:04.97 and visit because they put a 00:09:04.97\00:09:06.54 little bit of a stay on your 00:09:06.54\00:09:08.64 travel when you're waiting for 00:09:08.64\00:09:10.15 immigration to deal with your 00:09:10.15\00:09:11.21 paperwork. 00:09:11.21\00:09:12.41 So I knew he was gonna go to the 00:09:12.41\00:09:13.75 hospital, and I knew they were 00:09:13.75\00:09:14.95 gonna take his leg. 00:09:14.95\00:09:16.35 And that's tragic. 00:09:16.35\00:09:17.95 He had the same thing 00:09:17.95\00:09:20.22 that Terry Fox had, and it might 00:09:20.22\00:09:21.76 have even been the same leg. 00:09:21.76\00:09:23.29 And everybody in Canada knows 00:09:23.29\00:09:24.79 Terry Fox, right? 00:09:24.79\00:09:26.56 He had the same thing. 00:09:26.56\00:09:27.56 So they had to take the leg 00:09:27.56\00:09:28.80 eventually, there just was no 00:09:28.80\00:09:30.17 saving it. 00:09:30.17\00:09:31.33 So I remember calling him early 00:09:31.33\00:09:32.67 one morning at the hospital and 00:09:32.67\00:09:34.17 "No, he's not awake yet. 00:09:34.17\00:09:35.20 He's still in recovery, he's 00:09:35.20\00:09:36.20 still in recovery." 00:09:36.20\00:09:37.24 And I'm thinking, 00:09:37.24\00:09:38.31 "This is awful. 00:09:38.31\00:09:39.34 Losing a limb, waking up 00:09:39.34\00:09:40.78 and having to cope with that. 00:09:40.78\00:09:42.01 This is awful and I can't be by 00:09:42.01\00:09:43.61 the bedside of my friend to 00:09:43.61\00:09:44.91 encourage him when he wakes up. 00:09:44.91\00:09:46.88 By phone seems- 00:09:46.88\00:09:47.88 eh, I don't know..." 00:09:47.88\00:09:48.82 So I called him. 00:09:48.82\00:09:49.82 Eventually I got through when 00:09:49.82\00:09:51.72 he woke up and they punched it 00:09:51.72\00:09:53.99 through to his room, he picked 00:09:53.99\00:09:55.06 up the phone, I said, "Henry, 00:09:55.06\00:09:56.56 it's Shawn. 00:09:56.56\00:09:58.06 How are you doing?" 00:09:58.06\00:09:59.09 He says, "Well, I'm gonna be 00:09:59.09\00:10:00.10 really honest with you, Shawn. 00:10:00.10\00:10:01.86 I'm on my last leg." 00:10:01.86\00:10:03.63 And I started to laugh and I 00:10:03.63\00:10:05.13 felt bad because now I'm 00:10:05.13\00:10:06.23 laughing at his missing leg, 00:10:06.23\00:10:07.24 but that's...that's funny. 00:10:07.24\00:10:08.70 I said, "Really?" and just he's, 00:10:08.70\00:10:10.41 "Yeah, I'm on my last leg. 00:10:10.41\00:10:11.54 They took it away and 00:10:11.54\00:10:13.61 they sent in a counsellor to see 00:10:13.61\00:10:14.94 how I was doing, and I think she 00:10:14.94\00:10:16.58 feels better now after talking 00:10:16.58\00:10:17.95 to me." 00:10:17.95\00:10:19.21 I mean, he rode that through 00:10:19.21\00:10:20.72 with class. 00:10:20.72\00:10:21.55 And later on, he was on my board 00:10:21.55\00:10:23.28 at another institution, because 00:10:23.28\00:10:24.85 you have to have Henry 00:10:24.85\00:10:25.85 Feyerabend on your board. 00:10:25.85\00:10:27.32 And he wheeled in, and I 00:10:27.32\00:10:29.19 remember for the meeting, he 00:10:29.19\00:10:30.36 took his false leg and he turned 00:10:30.36\00:10:31.86 it upside down so his foot is in 00:10:31.86\00:10:33.70 front of his face. 00:10:33.70\00:10:34.60 I'm trying to give a 00:10:34.60\00:10:35.63 presentation, but his foot's 00:10:35.63\00:10:36.67 in front of his face the whole 00:10:36.67\00:10:37.80 time and, yeah. 00:10:37.80\00:10:39.70 He laughed his way through the 00:10:40.34\00:10:41.80 hardest moments of life. 00:10:41.80\00:10:42.90 I have no doubt that he was in 00:10:42.90\00:10:45.44 a lot of pain. 00:10:45.44\00:10:46.37 Nobody- I remember the fear that 00:10:46.37\00:10:48.48 he felt when it was going down 00:10:48.48\00:10:50.28 and it was going to happen. 00:10:50.28\00:10:52.21 But somehow he managed to do 00:10:52.21\00:10:53.68 that because he felt it was also 00:10:53.68\00:10:55.35 important to pull everyone else 00:10:55.35\00:10:56.69 into the room and make them feel 00:10:56.69\00:10:58.05 better about what was going on. 00:10:58.05\00:11:00.19 Man, he had a gift for that. 00:11:00.19\00:11:01.42 I was- we were laughing 00:11:01.42\00:11:03.06 all the time. 00:11:03.06\00:11:04.06 >> Today it's my pleasure to 00:11:04.06\00:11:05.63 introduce my associate speaker, 00:11:05.63\00:11:07.23 Shawn Boonstra. 00:11:07.23\00:11:09.10 >> Is alcohol really a mocker? 00:11:09.10\00:11:12.17 Does strong drink really 00:11:12.17\00:11:13.90 make us rage? 00:11:13.90\00:11:15.17 According to the statistics, 00:11:16.30\00:11:17.71 yes. 00:11:17.71\00:11:18.74 [DOUG] One of the things I liked 00:11:18.97\00:11:20.11 best about working with Shawn 00:11:20.11\00:11:21.94 is where Henry would tell 00:11:21.94\00:11:24.15 stories, Shawn would, too, but 00:11:24.15\00:11:26.21 where Henry would tell stories 00:11:26.21\00:11:27.42 to illustrate points, Shawn was 00:11:27.42\00:11:28.62 to illustrate points, Shawn was 00:11:28.62\00:11:29.28 a much more researched writer. 00:11:29.35\00:11:32.12 You would get a lot of 00:11:32.69\00:11:33.82 statistics with him. 00:11:33.82\00:11:34.82 You would get a lot of 00:11:34.82\00:11:37.03 scientific research. 00:11:37.03\00:11:38.96 And as someone who's kind of a 00:11:38.96\00:11:41.20 techno geek, that sort of stuff 00:11:41.20\00:11:42.86 was very interesting. 00:11:42.86\00:11:44.40 >> Whosoever is deceived thereby 00:11:44.40\00:11:46.67 is not wise. 00:11:46.67\00:11:48.47 God knows what He's talking 00:11:48.47\00:11:50.21 about. 00:11:50.21\00:11:51.21 [SHAWN] Henry Feyerabend, I 00:11:51.71\00:11:52.87 think, knew he was gonna be a 00:11:52.87\00:11:53.91 minister from about the 00:11:53.91\00:11:55.01 age of two. 00:11:55.01\00:11:55.94 That was not me. 00:11:55.94\00:11:57.05 I came in really kicking and 00:11:57.05\00:11:59.08 screaming. 00:11:59.08\00:11:59.91 To this day, I describe myself 00:11:59.91\00:12:01.95 as a recovering heathen. 00:12:01.95\00:12:03.45 I really had a life in politics, 00:12:03.45\00:12:05.55 I thought, and I was living in 00:12:05.55\00:12:06.96 British Columbia. 00:12:06.96\00:12:07.96 I would go down to the 00:12:07.96\00:12:08.96 Legislative Assembly in British 00:12:08.96\00:12:10.06 Columbia for question period. 00:12:10.06\00:12:11.76 Oh man, did I love question 00:12:11.76\00:12:13.09 period. 00:12:13.09\00:12:13.96 The way Canadians eviscerate 00:12:13.96\00:12:15.06 each other in politics is so 00:12:15.06\00:12:17.03 polite compared to like where I 00:12:17.03\00:12:18.83 live now in America. 00:12:18.83\00:12:19.90 In America, they just say what 00:12:19.90\00:12:21.44 they're thinking. 00:12:21.44\00:12:22.44 Here, they do it through the 00:12:22.44\00:12:23.44 Speaker of the House. 00:12:23.44\00:12:24.44 And I could not get enough 00:12:24.44\00:12:25.44 of this. 00:12:25.44\00:12:26.24 I cut class so I could listen to 00:12:26.24\00:12:27.54 the, you know, so-and-so from 00:12:27.54\00:12:29.08 the loyal opposition stands up. 00:12:29.08\00:12:30.78 "Mr. Speaker, is it okay if I 00:12:30.78\00:12:32.61 call the, you know, the loyal 00:12:32.61\00:12:34.75 member from such-and-such a 00:12:34.75\00:12:36.45 blankety-blank?" 00:12:36.45\00:12:37.49 "No, you may not do that." 00:12:37.49\00:12:38.62 Well, now it's in the Hansard 00:12:38.62\00:12:39.75 and it's been done. 00:12:39.75\00:12:40.66 So I- that was too much of a... 00:12:40.66\00:12:42.19 And I thought, "That's the life 00:12:42.19\00:12:43.39 I want. 00:12:43.39\00:12:44.16 I wanna go down there, I wanna 00:12:44.16\00:12:45.19 eviscerate my opponents, 00:12:45.19\00:12:46.43 I want..." 00:12:46.43\00:12:47.66 The problem is I was terrified 00:12:47.66\00:12:49.00 of television and public 00:12:49.00\00:12:49.96 speaking. 00:12:49.96\00:12:50.63 How are you supposed to run for 00:12:50.63\00:12:51.60 office when you're terrified of 00:12:51.60\00:12:52.73 television and public speaking? 00:12:52.73\00:12:54.30 So that's why I spent all my 00:12:55.14\00:12:56.54 time doing that. 00:12:56.54\00:12:58.01 And then I started to sense that 00:12:58.01\00:12:59.87 I wasn't going to spend my life 00:12:59.87\00:13:02.41 in politics. 00:13:02.41\00:13:03.78 And a little voice was saying, 00:13:03.78\00:13:05.08 "You're not gonna do that." 00:13:05.08\00:13:06.55 And I barely recognized 00:13:06.55\00:13:07.85 the voice. 00:13:07.85\00:13:08.62 I came from a Bible-believing 00:13:08.62\00:13:09.82 home, I came from a Christian 00:13:09.82\00:13:11.09 home, but I was living pretty 00:13:11.09\00:13:12.15 wild at this stage. 00:13:12.15\00:13:13.66 And I'm renting a house on 00:13:13.66\00:13:14.89 Vancouver Island, and I remember 00:13:14.89\00:13:16.86 sitting on the back step 00:13:16.86\00:13:18.09 one night... 00:13:18.09\00:13:19.09 ...and I'm smoking a cigarette. 00:13:20.60\00:13:21.70 At that point, I was a pack a 00:13:21.70\00:13:22.86 day by the time I was 19. 00:13:22.86\00:13:25.27 And I'm saying, "All right, God, 00:13:25.27\00:13:27.50 if You're real, here are my 00:13:27.50\00:13:28.94 conditions. 00:13:28.94\00:13:30.01 If- what do You want me to do?" 00:13:30.01\00:13:31.41 And the little voice is like, 00:13:31.41\00:13:32.44 "Well, you're going into the 00:13:32.44\00:13:33.51 ministry," and I laughed out 00:13:33.51\00:13:34.58 loud at that thought. 00:13:34.58\00:13:35.61 I mean, how- I can't run for 00:13:35.61\00:13:37.18 office because I can't speak. 00:13:37.18\00:13:38.45 Minister, what, really? 00:13:38.45\00:13:39.58 Stand up front every weekend and 00:13:39.58\00:13:41.58 talk to a roomful of people? 00:13:41.58\00:13:43.22 Minister? 00:13:43.22\00:13:44.32 What are my friends gonna think 00:13:44.32\00:13:45.42 if I end up in the ministry? 00:13:45.42\00:13:46.69 Of all the- naw," I laughed 00:13:46.69\00:13:48.06 at the idea. 00:13:48.06\00:13:49.22 And I couldn't shake it. 00:13:49.22\00:13:50.49 So I... 00:13:50.49\00:13:52.43 ...I called my girlfriend 00:13:53.43\00:13:54.83 at the time. 00:13:54.83\00:13:55.70 She's now been my wife for 31 00:13:55.70\00:13:57.10 years, but we were dating at the 00:13:57.10\00:13:58.60 time and I called her. 00:13:58.60\00:13:59.60 I say, "Look, I got this idea. 00:13:59.60\00:14:01.50 I'm not gonna run for office 00:14:01.50\00:14:02.70 one day. 00:14:02.70\00:14:03.54 What are you thinking?" 00:14:03.54\00:14:05.04 And I said this, I knew she was 00:14:05.04\00:14:06.61 gonna laugh, "I'm gonna be 00:14:06.61\00:14:09.04 a minister." 00:14:09.04\00:14:10.41 And she said, "I've known that 00:14:10.41\00:14:13.38 since the day I met you." 00:14:13.38\00:14:15.88 And I'm thinking, "How? Because 00:14:16.65\00:14:19.25 it's news to me tonight." 00:14:19.25\00:14:20.86 >> In our last program, we left 00:14:21.76\00:14:23.63 off asking some very important 00:14:23.63\00:14:25.76 questions about Daniel chapter 8 00:14:25.76\00:14:28.10 and verse 19. 00:14:28.10\00:14:30.23 If you missed... 00:14:30.23\00:14:31.13 [CHRIS] My childhood, I did not 00:14:31.13\00:14:32.17 grow up in the church, really. 00:14:32.17\00:14:34.97 I grew up Roman Catholic, and 00:14:34.97\00:14:35.64 I grew up Roman Catholic, and 00:14:35.64\00:14:36.94 we, as, you know, I would not 00:14:36.94\00:14:39.31 call our family like super 00:14:39.31\00:14:40.71 devout, but we were in church 00:14:40.71\00:14:42.04 every single week. 00:14:42.04\00:14:44.15 And when I was about 14 years 00:14:44.15\00:14:46.05 old, my life really changed 00:14:46.05\00:14:48.25 dramatically. 00:14:48.25\00:14:49.28 My parents began the process of 00:14:49.28\00:14:51.45 getting a divorce. 00:14:51.45\00:14:52.92 I was going through a lot of 00:14:52.92\00:14:54.29 issues myself, some real serious 00:14:54.29\00:14:56.66 anger issues. 00:14:56.66\00:14:58.79 I... 00:14:58.79\00:14:59.63 ...injured myself, 00:15:00.16\00:15:02.06 pretty severely in football, 00:15:02.06\00:15:03.77 went through a number of 00:15:03.77\00:15:04.90 surgeries. 00:15:04.90\00:15:06.37 And all during that time, 00:15:06.37\00:15:08.30 I essentially gave up on church. 00:15:08.30\00:15:09.70 I gave up going to church. 00:15:09.70\00:15:11.57 I said to myself, you know, 00:15:11.57\00:15:13.27 "I know that God exists, but I 00:15:13.27\00:15:14.74 don't know where He exists." 00:15:14.74\00:15:16.04 And I don't know that it was a 00:15:16.04\00:15:18.05 super conscientious, 00:15:18.05\00:15:20.98 "I'm gonna go find God," 00:15:20.98\00:15:23.25 but I began this journey where I 00:15:23.25\00:15:25.49 began visiting a variety of 00:15:25.49\00:15:27.16 different churches and 00:15:27.16\00:15:28.42 other faiths. 00:15:28.42\00:15:29.86 And when I turned about 20, 00:15:29.86\00:15:32.66 I was 21 years old, I 00:15:32.66\00:15:34.93 encountered the Three Angels 00:15:34.93\00:15:37.33 Messages, the Seventh-day 00:15:37.33\00:15:38.53 Adventist Church, through a 00:15:38.53\00:15:41.44 net evangelistic campaign. 00:15:41.44\00:15:43.94 It was Net '95 and at that time, 00:15:43.94\00:15:46.78 the big technology was satellite 00:15:46.78\00:15:48.98 technology, and that was 00:15:48.98\00:15:50.48 satellited in to locations 00:15:50.48\00:15:53.48 all around the world. 00:15:53.48\00:15:55.38 And Mark Finley was the preacher 00:15:55.38\00:15:57.15 of that Net '95. 00:15:57.15\00:15:58.99 Very influential in that 00:15:58.99\00:16:00.96 broadcast was the ministry of 00:16:00.96\00:16:01.72 broadcast was the ministry of 00:16:01.72\00:16:03.49 It Is Written. 00:16:03.49\00:16:04.99 And through that encounter... 00:16:04.99\00:16:07.36 ...and through those messages, 00:16:08.53\00:16:10.03 I met Jesus, and in meeting 00:16:10.03\00:16:12.27 Jesus, I began to 00:16:12.27\00:16:15.14 study the Bible, and I began to 00:16:15.14\00:16:16.81 understand prophecy. 00:16:16.81\00:16:19.11 And after that happened, I was 00:16:19.11\00:16:21.64 baptized in 1995. 00:16:21.64\00:16:24.61 And I married my wife, Debbie, 00:16:24.61\00:16:27.08 in 1996. 00:16:27.08\00:16:29.35 And shortly after we were 00:16:29.35\00:16:32.22 married, I began to sense 00:16:32.22\00:16:35.26 the desire to go and 00:16:35.26\00:16:38.03 get a college degree. 00:16:38.03\00:16:39.89 I didn't have a college degree. 00:16:39.89\00:16:41.43 I was working in restaurants, so 00:16:41.43\00:16:43.30 I was- restaurant management was 00:16:43.30\00:16:45.57 my profession and... 00:16:45.57\00:16:47.44 ...when I began working 00:16:48.64\00:16:51.31 for Andrews University, and one 00:16:51.31\00:16:53.21 of the benefits of my work was 00:16:53.21\00:16:55.11 to take a free class. 00:16:55.11\00:16:56.38 And I began taking a class, 00:16:56.38\00:16:59.28 "God and Human Life," which is a 00:16:59.28\00:17:01.18 general education Bible class. 00:17:01.18\00:17:03.32 And there in that "God and Human 00:17:03.32\00:17:05.29 Life" class, I began to sense 00:17:05.29\00:17:07.52 that maybe God was calling me 00:17:07.52\00:17:08.59 that maybe God was calling me 00:17:08.59\00:17:10.23 into ministry. 00:17:10.23\00:17:11.76 >> Dear friend, please do not 00:17:11.76\00:17:13.90 reject or ignore Him. 00:17:13.90\00:17:16.10 Yield yourself to Him today. 00:17:16.10\00:17:18.30 [CHRIS] It took 21 years for me 00:17:18.30\00:17:20.24 to encounter the 00:17:20.24\00:17:22.87 life-saving message of Jesus and 00:17:22.87\00:17:25.51 the biblical truths that the 00:17:25.51\00:17:28.38 Scripture teaches. 00:17:28.38\00:17:30.61 And I began to feel this heavy 00:17:30.61\00:17:32.48 burden in my heart. 00:17:32.48\00:17:34.38 I didn't want other 21-year-olds 00:17:34.38\00:17:36.05 to have to go through what I 00:17:36.05\00:17:37.25 went through. 00:17:37.25\00:17:38.62 And I went through confusion. 00:17:38.62\00:17:40.42 I tell people my spiritual 00:17:40.42\00:17:42.12 journey was like if you took a 00:17:42.12\00:17:43.46 5000-piece puzzle and a 00:17:43.46\00:17:45.09 10,000-piece puzzle and a 00:17:45.09\00:17:46.53 thousand-piece puzzle, and you 00:17:46.53\00:17:48.03 jumbled it all together and 00:17:48.03\00:17:49.20 said, "Okay, figure it out." 00:17:49.20\00:17:50.83 And so this is why I really am 00:17:50.83\00:17:53.47 very passionate about preaching 00:17:53.47\00:17:55.60 expository sermons, sticking to 00:17:55.60\00:17:58.21 the biblical text, and keeping 00:17:58.21\00:18:00.48 things simple so people can put 00:18:00.48\00:18:02.68 it together and really 00:18:02.68\00:18:04.38 understand. 00:18:04.38\00:18:05.38 There is just a burning in me 00:18:05.38\00:18:08.28 to share the gospel message with 00:18:08.28\00:18:10.32 people that they might see the 00:18:10.32\00:18:12.39 truth of Scripture and have a 00:18:12.39\00:18:15.16 life-transforming experience Feyerabend is the 00:18:31.14\00:18:33.04 speaker director of the program, 00:18:33.04\00:18:35.08 and he wants to do a bit on 00:18:35.08\00:18:36.88 creation, evolution, human 00:18:36.88\00:18:38.41 origins, and so on. 00:18:38.41\00:18:39.45 He says, "Okay, Shawn, your job 00:18:39.45\00:18:41.48 is to rent me a monkey. 00:18:41.48\00:18:42.75 I want a monkey as I talk about 00:18:42.75\00:18:44.65 the descent of man." 00:18:44.65\00:18:45.72 I said, "My job is to rent 00:18:45.72\00:18:46.96 a monkey? 00:18:46.96\00:18:47.69 That's not what I envisioned 00:18:47.69\00:18:48.66 when I..." 00:18:48.66\00:18:49.39 "Yeah, rent a monkey." 00:18:49.39\00:18:50.33 So I called a few animal 00:18:50.33\00:18:51.59 handlers and so on, and I booked 00:18:51.59\00:18:53.03 a monkey. 00:18:53.03\00:18:54.13 And then the person who owned 00:18:54.13\00:18:56.90 the monkey found out it was a 00:18:56.90\00:18:58.23 Christian program and just hated 00:18:58.23\00:18:59.80 Christians and cancelled the 00:18:59.80\00:19:01.47 monkey at the last minute and 00:19:01.47\00:19:03.20 we're about to go to studio. 00:19:03.20\00:19:05.07 And so there's no monkey. 00:19:05.07\00:19:06.68 And I'm thinking, "Now, what are 00:19:06.68\00:19:07.98 we gonna do?" 00:19:07.98\00:19:08.94 Well, guess what happens. 00:19:08.94\00:19:10.01 The intern gets to 00:19:10.01\00:19:12.15 be the monkey. 00:19:12.15\00:19:13.11 That's me. 00:19:13.11\00:19:13.95 I had to put up my first 00:19:13.95\00:19:14.98 appearance on It Is Written 00:19:14.98\00:19:16.02 Canada is in a gorilla suit, 00:19:16.02\00:19:17.95 and that footage still exists 00:19:17.95\00:19:19.49 somewhere. 00:19:19.49\00:19:20.52 I'm in a gorilla suit. 00:19:21.86\00:19:23.22 And I decide, "Well, if I'm 00:19:23.22\00:19:24.86 gonna be a gorilla for the Lord, 00:19:24.86\00:19:26.80 I'm gonna be the best gorilla 00:19:26.80\00:19:28.50 you can imagine." 00:19:28.50\00:19:29.43 So I put it on. 00:19:29.43\00:19:30.47 I played full monkey. 00:19:30.47\00:19:32.33 Jumped up on the desk, tousled 00:19:32.33\00:19:34.00 Henry's hair while he's trying 00:19:34.00\00:19:35.24 to speak the camera, smashed 00:19:35.24\00:19:36.47 stuff on the desk, and... 00:19:36.47\00:19:37.81 Yeah, but it was a rental suit 00:19:39.07\00:19:40.78 and those come from costume 00:19:40.81\00:19:41.98 companies and sometimes costume 00:19:41.98\00:19:43.55 companies, those suits don't 00:19:43.55\00:19:45.51 smell the best inside. 00:19:45.55\00:19:46.58 They go to Halloween 00:20:30.66\00:20:32.13 I'm praying with people in the 00:20:32.13\00:20:33.46 supermarket, I'm giving Bible 00:20:33.46\00:20:34.83 studies in the supermarket, and 00:20:34.83\00:20:36.67 I get to tell unique Canadian 00:20:36.67\00:20:38.47 stories across the country to a 00:20:38.47\00:20:40.30 Canadian audience and put it in 00:20:40.30\00:20:41.84 a biblical context. 00:20:41.84\00:20:43.00 So Canada 00:20:43.00\00:20:44.81 is a really special place, 00:20:44.81\00:20:46.17 always will be. 00:20:46.17\00:20:47.28 And the audience for It Is 00:20:47.28\00:20:48.31 Written Canada, well, it changed 00:20:48.31\00:20:49.98 my life, too. 00:20:49.98\00:20:50.91 As much as I like to think, 00:20:50.91\00:20:51.95 "Oh, our program is really 00:20:51.95\00:20:53.05 helping people," the people 00:20:53.05\00:20:54.65 helped us, too. 00:20:54.65\00:20:55.62 It was just a 00:20:55.62\00:20:56.65 really wonderful experience. 00:20:56.65\00:20:58.05 [CHRIS] I had no idea the impact 00:20:59.25\00:21:01.09 that that weekly broadcast would 00:21:01.09\00:21:03.06 have on people's lives. 00:21:03.06\00:21:03.59 have on people's lives. 00:21:03.59\00:21:04.96 I would be standing in line at 00:21:04.96\00:21:06.86 grocery stores where individuals 00:21:06.86\00:21:09.33 would be uncomfortably staring 00:21:09.33\00:21:12.27 at me, and I would wonder, 00:21:12.27\00:21:13.50 "Why are these individuals 00:21:13.50\00:21:14.77 staring at me?" 00:21:14.77\00:21:15.94 And finally they would say, 00:21:15.94\00:21:18.01 "Hey, are you that guy from the 00:21:18.01\00:21:19.44 television program?" 00:21:19.44\00:21:20.94 Where I would be standing in 00:21:20.94\00:21:22.08 line, I'll never forget, in 00:21:22.08\00:21:23.21 Kelowna, British Columbia, I was 00:21:23.21\00:21:24.65 standing in line there in the 00:21:24.65\00:21:26.98 security line and... 00:21:26.98\00:21:29.28 ...the officer coming up to me 00:21:30.65\00:21:32.55 and just whispering to me, 00:21:32.55\00:21:33.86 "Hey, keep up the good work. 00:21:33.86\00:21:35.59 I really appreciate your 00:21:35.59\00:21:36.79 weekly programs." 00:21:36.79\00:21:38.59 Our partnership meetings were 00:21:38.59\00:21:40.46 always a highlight where we 00:21:40.46\00:21:41.66 could spend time with our 00:21:41.66\00:21:44.10 faithful donors, those who had 00:21:44.10\00:21:46.07 partnered with us, through 00:21:46.07\00:21:48.54 prayer, had partnered with us 00:21:48.54\00:21:50.37 through participating in 00:21:50.37\00:21:51.47 ministry, and had partnered 00:21:51.47\00:21:53.17 with us financially. 00:21:53.17\00:21:55.34 Just so appreciated those 00:21:55.34\00:21:57.61 focused weekends and days where 00:21:57.61\00:22:00.32 we would spend time. 00:22:00.32\00:22:02.25 I appreciated the 00:22:02.25\00:22:04.82 Canadian people and the 00:22:04.82\00:22:06.59 leadership of our church. 00:22:06.59\00:22:08.29 You know, our church in Canada 00:22:08.29\00:22:10.16 is a wonderful place with godly 00:22:10.16\00:22:12.83 leaders who want to win people 00:22:12.83\00:22:14.30 for Christ. 00:22:14.30\00:22:15.30 [uplifting music playing] 00:22:15.30\00:22:17.83 [DOUG] This ministry has a 00:22:17.83\00:22:18.83 tremendous impact on people. 00:22:18.83\00:22:19.90 tremendous impact on people. 00:22:19.90\00:22:20.67 And the reason it's so important 00:22:20.67\00:22:22.70 for us to be on broadcast 00:22:22.70\00:22:24.21 television is because unlike 00:22:24.21\00:22:26.64 social media, which is very 00:22:26.64\00:22:27.81 valuable, we reach people 00:22:27.81\00:22:29.31 by accident. 00:22:29.31\00:22:30.58 They're sitting on their couch, 00:22:31.35\00:22:33.82 they turn on the TV early, 00:22:33.82\00:22:35.55 they're gonna watch the Super 00:22:35.55\00:22:36.58 Bowl, whatever, they're gonna 00:22:36.58\00:22:37.72 watch a soap opera, they're 00:22:37.72\00:22:38.65 gonna watch Seinfeld, 00:22:38.65\00:22:39.65 I don't know. 00:22:39.65\00:22:40.52 And lo and behold, while they're 00:22:40.52\00:22:42.22 waiting for their show to start, 00:22:42.22\00:22:44.49 you get the last ten minutes of 00:22:44.49\00:22:45.66 It Is Written. 00:22:45.66\00:22:46.86 And instead of turning it off 00:22:46.86\00:22:49.60 and moving somewhere else, 00:22:49.60\00:22:50.63 they'll just leave it there 00:22:50.63\00:22:51.50 because they're waiting for 00:22:51.50\00:22:52.37 their show to start. 00:22:52.37\00:22:53.17 But lo and behold you say 00:22:53.17\00:22:54.07 something, Bill said something, 00:22:54.07\00:22:55.37 Shawn said something, Henry said 00:22:55.37\00:22:56.50 something that tweaked their 00:22:56.50\00:22:58.21 interest just a little bit, 00:22:58.21\00:23:00.61 and they actually sat down 00:23:00.61\00:23:01.68 and listened. 00:23:01.68\00:23:02.84 And thought, "Well, this is 00:23:02.84\00:23:03.81 interesting. 00:23:03.81\00:23:04.75 Maybe I'll watch next week." 00:23:04.75\00:23:06.38 And they do. 00:23:06.38\00:23:07.52 It's non-threatening. 00:23:08.45\00:23:09.92 We get the opportunity to maybe 00:23:10.99\00:23:12.99 through the Holy Spirit's 00:23:12.99\00:23:14.02 intervention get them a little 00:23:14.02\00:23:16.19 bit interested in what's going 00:23:16.19\00:23:17.39 on, and they stick around 00:23:17.39\00:23:18.46 and listen for even like 00:23:18.46\00:23:19.39 two minutes. 00:23:19.39\00:23:20.40 And this is the miracle of 00:23:20.40\00:23:21.60 It Is Written and this is why 00:23:21.60\00:23:22.80 It Is Written is so important 00:23:22.80\00:23:24.13 as a broadcast ministry 00:23:24.13\00:23:25.23 going forward. 00:23:25.23\00:23:26.37 >> When you come up against... 00:23:26.67\00:23:27.70 [SHAWN] I am an off-the-charts 00:23:27.70\00:23:29.90 introvert. 00:23:29.90\00:23:30.24 introvert. 00:23:30.24\00:23:31.27 When I was a kid, 00:23:31.27\00:23:33.17 at Christmas dinners, 00:23:33.17\00:23:34.91 as soon as I could get away with 00:23:34.91\00:23:36.34 it, I would excuse myself from 00:23:36.34\00:23:37.71 the table and go sit in the 00:23:37.71\00:23:38.78 stairwell and read a book. 00:23:38.78\00:23:40.65 That's what I would rather do. 00:23:40.65\00:23:41.75 If I could go away into an ivory 00:23:41.75\00:23:43.95 tower and collect fellowships 00:23:43.95\00:23:46.12 and PhDs, awesome. 00:23:46.12\00:23:48.56 You know, never have to deal 00:23:48.56\00:23:49.89 with the public again. 00:23:49.89\00:23:51.59 And yet...and yet I know 00:23:51.59\00:23:54.83 that the public is going through 00:23:54.83\00:23:56.67 what I went through. 00:23:56.67\00:23:57.70 The Bible talks about there is 00:23:57.70\00:23:59.00 no temptation such as is common 00:23:59.00\00:24:00.70 to all. 00:24:00.70\00:24:01.70 We all struggle at points with 00:24:01.70\00:24:03.20 the meaning of our existence. 00:24:03.20\00:24:04.84 And if you haven't yet, just let 00:24:04.84\00:24:06.27 yourself get a little older. 00:24:06.27\00:24:07.38 You will struggle with the 00:24:07.38\00:24:08.38 meaning of your existence. 00:24:08.38\00:24:09.61 You will struggle with the 00:24:09.61\00:24:10.65 meaning of your existence, not 00:24:10.65\00:24:12.38 just how do they end up in this 00:24:12.38\00:24:13.65 universe, but what's my role in 00:24:13.65\00:24:15.38 this world? 00:24:15.38\00:24:16.32 Am I here for a reason? 00:24:16.32\00:24:17.52 And the thought of somebody 00:24:17.52\00:24:19.55 not finding the hope I found 00:24:19.55\00:24:22.52 is the reason I get out of bed 00:24:22.52\00:24:24.93 and go down into that auditorium 00:24:24.93\00:24:27.93 and stand up there, and I make a 00:24:27.93\00:24:29.56 deal with God every time, 00:24:29.56\00:24:31.60 "I'll go out there and talk, 00:24:31.60\00:24:33.40 but You have to go with me 00:24:33.40\00:24:34.74 this time." 00:24:34.74\00:24:35.94 And I wait and I pray until I'm 00:24:35.94\00:24:38.64 confident I'm not alone 00:24:38.64\00:24:40.14 out there. 00:24:40.14\00:24:41.48 There's only one reason I do 00:24:41.48\00:24:42.61 what I do. 00:24:42.61\00:24:43.78 It's because so many people are 00:24:44.45\00:24:46.01 living an existence with 00:24:46.01\00:24:47.18 zero hope. 00:24:47.18\00:24:48.38 Nothing. 00:24:48.38\00:24:49.72 I will not let people go to the 00:24:49.72\00:24:51.45 grave without hope if I can 00:24:51.45\00:24:53.39 help it. 00:24:53.39\00:24:54.26 So I will go on 00:24:54.26\00:24:56.42 gritting my teeth 00:24:56.42\00:24:58.06 and praying desperate prayers 00:24:58.06\00:24:59.93 backstage and doing this. 00:24:59.93\00:25:02.60 Because how do you not? 00:25:02.60\00:25:04.60 How do you not? 00:25:04.60\00:25:05.80 Some of you watching today have 00:25:08.20\00:25:10.14 wrestled with some of the things 00:25:10.14\00:25:11.44 that I've wrestled with in life. 00:25:11.44\00:25:12.64 Is God real? 00:25:12.64\00:25:13.74 Is there a meaning to my life? 00:25:13.74\00:25:15.04 Why do I exist? 00:25:15.04\00:25:16.08 Is there a way to have a happy, 00:25:16.08\00:25:17.91 content, joyful life 00:25:17.91\00:25:19.98 with hope in my heart? 00:25:19.98\00:25:21.82 I'm gonna pray for you 00:25:21.82\00:25:22.98 right now. 00:25:22.98\00:25:23.92 I don't think it's a coincidence 00:25:23.92\00:25:25.25 that you've turned this on 00:25:25.25\00:25:26.65 today. 00:25:26.65\00:25:27.46 So I'm gonna bound my head and 00:25:27.46\00:25:28.56 speak to God in your behalf. 00:25:28.56\00:25:30.73 Father in heaven, right now, 00:25:30.73\00:25:32.83 somebody's watching who I think 00:25:32.83\00:25:34.63 is looking for You. 00:25:34.63\00:25:35.80 They might not know You by name, 00:25:35.80\00:25:37.37 they might be a little worried 00:25:37.37\00:25:38.50 about what that means, but 00:25:38.50\00:25:40.00 they've been sensing that You're 00:25:40.00\00:25:41.14 speaking to them somehow, trying 00:25:41.14\00:25:42.87 to get their attention. 00:25:42.87\00:25:44.47 Draw really close to that person 00:25:44.47\00:25:46.11 right now, let them know how 00:25:46.11\00:25:47.11 much You love them, that You're 00:25:47.11\00:25:48.88 close, and that You have a plan 00:25:48.88\00:25:50.65 for them, and that You long to 00:25:50.65\00:25:53.25 be in fellowship with them and 00:25:53.25\00:25:54.75 put that smile in their heart. 00:25:54.75\00:25:56.62 And I'm praying for that person 00:25:56.62\00:25:57.75 right now. 00:25:57.75\00:25:58.59 In Jesus?me, amen. 00:25:58.59\00:26:00.52 >> Friends, as Pastor Henry 00:26:04.43\00:26:05.89 Feyerabend knew, there is an 00:26:05.89\00:26:07.50 evidence about God's 00:26:07.50\00:26:09.13 faithfulness that is open
