It is the story of God's relentless pursuit after 00:02:00.28\00:02:06.05 each and every one of us. The reality that Jesus made a choice to die for our sins, to 00:02:06.15\00:02:13.96 reconcile, to bring us back to God: that is the story of the Book of Revelation. We don't 00:02:14.03\00:02:21.94 need to be fearful of it. We don't need to wonder if we can understand it. It's not some 00:02:22.04\00:02:27.04 mystical book. But it is the story of One Who wants to be in relationship with you. In the 00:02:27.14\00:02:36.85 fourth part of this series, once again, I have joining me Pastor Jon-Ross Ennest. JON-ROSS: 00:02:36.95\00:02:43.29 Hey. CHRIS: Pastor Jon-Ross, so glad to have you here. JON-ROSS I'm really glad to be here. 00:02:43.39\00:02:46.16 CHRIS: Now, pastor Jon-Ross, we have been. and covered a lot of territory. We're going to get 00:02:46.26\00:02:53.64 right into it because we are finishing off this series. We could spend volumes and volumes 00:02:53.74\00:02:59.21 of time talking about the Book of Revelation and the relentless pursuit of God after us. The 00:02:59.31\00:03:06.45 last show, where we left off, is we talked about faith. Having faith in the promise that Christ 00:03:06.55\00:03:15.42 has done for us and guaranteed us a place in heaven through His sacrifice, through His life, and 00:03:15.52\00:03:24.33 that's really the story of the Book of Revelation. Now, one of the things we were not able to 00:03:24.43\00:03:29.07 get to - because, in the context of that faith, there's something happening - and we would be 00:03:29.17\00:03:34.94 remiss to just simply gloss over what was happening there in the Book of Revelation. So 00:03:35.04\00:03:40.18 Revelation chapter 20, we're going to go there, and let's talk about what was happening in 00:03:40.28\00:03:44.95 Revelation that referenced this faith. So Revelation chapter 20. And I believe we're going to go 00:03:45.05\00:03:52.59 to verses 12 and 13. Why don't you read those, and let's unpack that a little bit. JON-ROSS: 00:03:52.69\00:03:58.17 Yeah, although I'm going to start in verse 11, just for a little more context. 00:03:58.27\00:04:01.64 CHRIS: Okay. So Pastor Jon-Ross, I'm just being very straightforward. I speak on 00:04:33.00\00:04:38.01 prophecy all around the world. You've spoken on prophecy all around Canada and other places. 00:04:38.11\00:04:44.78 I will tell you without a question of a doubt, the greatest fear that I find among 00:04:44.88\00:04:49.98 people is this issue of judgment. JON-ROSS: Yeah. And I think this fear of judgment is 00:04:50.09\00:04:55.09 totally unnecessary. What we have going on here in this judgement, we see, obviously, 00:04:55.19\00:05:01.00 God is present, and the inhabitants of Earth are standing before him, arrayed in 00:05:01.10\00:05:05.23 a judgment scene. Here, what we see is, we've got - and we talked about it last time - is 00:05:05.33\00:05:11.51 Christ is our all. He is our sufficiency. He is our justification. He is the renewal 00:05:11.61\00:05:18.48 of that love relationship with God. And by putting our faith in Him, we can stand confidently. 00:05:18.58\00:05:28.69 And here's what I mean. 1st John 2:1 talks about Jesus as our advocate. Scripture is replete 00:05:28.79\00:05:31.69 with evidences of God Himself as judge. So we have Christ our Advocate; the Father the Judge; 00:05:31.79\00:05:37.63 well, where's the accuser? This is the question. CHRIS: Yes. JON-ROSS: And what we see going 00:05:37.73\00:05:42.70 on here is these people are standing before - and we'll get to the accuser thing in a moment 00:05:42.80\00:05:46.74 - but what I really want to draw out and touch on here is that these people, they're standing 00:05:46.84\00:05:51.25 before the throne, and they're judged according to their own works. CHRIS: Okay. Now, so 00:05:51.35\00:05:55.95 we've got a couple of words there that, in different contexts to different people, 00:05:56.05\00:06:00.69 are going to kind of create. because one of the things we've been trying to do in the last 00:06:00.79\00:06:04.99 several shows, is, the Book of Revelation often brings about it. or with it fear, 00:06:05.09\00:06:11.10 trepidation. We've been talking about, there's nothing to fear. This book is about a God Who 00:06:11.20\00:06:16.34 loves us, a God Who created this world who's now relentlessly pursuing a broken relationship. 00:06:16.44\00:06:21.91 Reconciliation. But we have this now, this word "judgment" which can kind of bring some angst and 00:06:22.01\00:06:30.12 some fear. And then we have "judged according to their works." And those who are 00:06:30.22\00:06:35.52 Christian or who have some Christian context are automatically saying, "Whoa, 00:06:35.62\00:06:39.23 whoa, whoa, you just talked about faith; now you have works." JON-ROSS: Yeah. CHRIS: 00:06:39.33\00:06:43.77 Do we have anything in the Bible that can kind of help us work through this a little bit? 00:06:43.87\00:06:46.40 Any writing that will help us? JON-ROSS: Absolutely. We can go to Romans, actually, Romans 00:06:46.50\00:06:50.67 chapter 8. In Romans 8, Paul is talking about these very subjects, and you know, as we've 00:06:50.77\00:06:55.54 mentioned, Paul was a person who had to come to his own terms with being able to accept God's 00:06:55.64\00:07:00.55 love for him after he had persecuted, killed Christians because of their faith in Jesus. 00:07:00.65\00:07:04.39 So he knew what it was like to wrestle through receiving God's grace as a gift. CHRIS: 00:07:04.49\00:07:10.23 Absolutely. JON-ROSS: So in particular, we can look at verses 31 and 32. CHRIS: Okay, 00:07:10.33\00:07:13.80 why don't you read those for us? JON-ROSS: Yeah. 00:07:13.90\00:07:15.36 JON-ROSS: And he's not asking a question, "Is God for us?" He's making an assertive statement: 00:07:21.07\00:07:24.17 God is for us. And I often say to people, you know, in the Gospels, Matthew in particular, 00:07:24.27\00:07:29.68 it says "Emmanuel, God with us." I say, "Exactly. God's not against us; God's with us. He's 00:07:29.78\00:07:35.82 on our side." 00:07:35.92\00:07:37.19 CHRIS: Okay. JON-ROSS: This is beautiful. CHRIS: Yes. JON-ROSS: 00:07:46.96\00:07:51.17 God's on our side, which we've already seen. It's been made abundantly clear. CHRIS: 00:07:51.27\00:07:54.34 Abundant. JON-ROSS: God did not spare His son, but gave him up for us all, so that we could 00:07:54.44\00:08:01.14 graciously receive all things. And what I'm talking about, we're not just talking about 00:08:01.24\00:08:07.08 trivial, earthly things; we're talking about something that's of great, great value, great 00:08:07.18\00:08:12.35 importance: eternal life. CHRIS: Yeah. And I think that's an important thing to point out, 00:08:12.45\00:08:19.23 because a lot of times, we'll hear preachers that will talk about the reception of the 00:08:19.33\00:08:22.03 gospel, and somehow, someway, you're going to receive all the riches of the Earth and 00:08:22.13\00:08:26.77 prosperity and all this thing. But what Paul gets at here that is very clear is that the 00:08:26.87\00:08:32.44 assurance of eternal life, the assurance that we have in Jesus, is that God is for us. JON-ROSS 00:08:32.54\00:08:38.18 Yes. CHRIS: And this is what I often say: Too often, what we preach or we talk about in 00:08:38.28\00:08:42.52 Christianity is that God will deliver us from trial. But the testimony of the Scripture is 00:08:42.62\00:08:48.82 that God won't deliver us, but God, rather, walks through those trials often with us because 00:08:48.92\00:08:54.46 He's for us. JON-ROSS: Absolutely. CHRIS: Now, this is. you know, God's poured out the 00:08:54.56\00:09:02.30 power of heaven in His free gift. What are some practical applications with this power of 00:09:02.40\00:09:09.98 the gospel to save us? JON-ROSS: Yeah, and verse 33 brings in this first very practical 00:09:10.08\00:09:14.22 application. And it says: JON-ROSS: So we've already established justification, just 00:09:20.52\00:09:23.29 as if I never sinned. Who can accuse me? By Christ, I'm made innocent. So how can you make an 00:09:23.39\00:09:33.07 accusation against me? And this is particularly important in light of eternity, in light of 00:09:33.17\00:09:37.84 our future, in the imminent Second Coming of Christ, is that we have an accuser. There is one 00:09:37.94\00:09:45.45 who accuses us. But, Revelation promises that we will stand innocent in light of this. 00:09:45.55\00:09:51.82 Revelation 12, let's take a look that. CHRIS: Now, we're going to go to Revelation 12. I want to 00:09:51.92\00:09:55.69 pause for a moment, because you mentioned a verse earlier, and I don't want to gloss over it, 00:09:55.79\00:09:59.13 because while there is an accuser, we have an advocate, someone who's on our behalf. 00:09:59.23\00:10:02.76 JON-ROSS: That's right. CHRIS: Now, we're seeing that this is Christ. But you mentioned the 00:10:02.86\00:10:06.50 text, and I don't want our viewer to miss it. First John 2:1. Now, I will tell you, I'm a 00:10:06.60\00:10:11.21 little biased on this, because if there is a favourite verse in the Bible, this one is my 00:10:11.31\00:10:16.41 favorite verse. First John chapter 2 and verse 1. Why don't we read that just to be very 00:10:16.51\00:10:25.59 clear in the ears and the eyes of the viewer that we have an Advocate? While there's an 00:10:25.69\00:10:30.26 accuser, there is One Who is advocating on our behalf. Why don't you read that? JON-ROSS 00:10:30.36\00:10:32.86 Absolutely. CHRIS: And so this is a beautiful thing. Now, we're going to talk about it, 'cause 00:10:44.87\00:10:48.41 there is one who accuses us. But here is the clarifying point throughout everything we've been 00:10:48.51\00:10:54.45 talking about. God is doing everything and has done everything to win us back, to be 00:10:54.55\00:11:02.66 in a reconnected, reconciled relationship with Him. And it says that Jesus is our advocate. 00:11:02.76\00:11:11.97 Now, I will tell people often, I used to explain that verse by saying "advocate" means our 00:11:12.07\00:11:16.67 attorney, our defence attorney. I will tell you, I had to testify in a trial - and this is 00:11:16.77\00:11:22.24 no offence to any defence attorneys out there - but I was waiting on the exterior of the 00:11:22.34\00:11:27.35 courtroom, and I saw the defence attorneys, and many of them were making these slick deals and all 00:11:27.45\00:11:35.22 of this. And I sat there and I said, "I've belittled the ministry of Jesus." This word 00:11:35.32\00:11:39.53 "advocate" is actually the same word used to describe the comforter of the Holy Spirit. 00:11:39.63\00:11:48.57 Being the comforter, Jesus is assuring us that His love is more powerful than anything 00:11:48.67\00:11:58.08 we've done or anything we could be accused of. But we need to mention, there is an accuser. 00:11:58.18\00:12:03.45 Who's the accuser? The Bible will talk about who this accuser is, what he's doing. JON-ROSS: 00:12:03.55\00:12:07.62 Revelation 12. And there, when we go to Revelation 12, we see in verses 10 and 11, John 00:12:07.72\00:12:19.67 records what he sees: 00:12:19.77\00:12:21.97 JON-ROSS: And in verse 9, makes it explicitly clear, names all of the names that Satan is known 00:12:39.55\00:12:42.32 by. It is Satan who is the accuser of the brothers and sisters, as John records. And 00:12:42.42\00:12:48.16 then it says in verse 11 - and this is beautiful and this fits in so well. This is part of the 00:12:48.26\00:12:53.07 theme. This makes up the fabric of the Book of Revelation. 00:12:53.17\00:12:55.80 JON-ROSS: It's beautiful. CHRIS: It is very beautiful. Now, we're not going to spend a 00:13:05.41\00:13:08.55 lot of time talking about the accuser, because frankly, the accuser doesn't deserve a lot of 00:13:08.65\00:13:11.69 time to be spoken of. JON-ROSS: That's right. CHRIS: I will tell the viewer, we did an 00:13:11.79\00:13:15.32 entire series, "Noah: The Real Story" where I talk about who is Satan, where did he come from, 00:13:15.42\00:13:20.56 what are his origins? You will be fascinated by this study to see that this is actually an 00:13:20.66\00:13:26.63 individual that was also relentlessly pursued by the love of God, but made a choice to 00:13:26.74\00:13:33.27 reject that love. But Pastor Jon-Ross, the issue at hand here is, we have an accuser. That 00:13:33.38\00:13:41.52 accuser is Satan the devil, the archenemy of God. But the key verse is verse 11. JON-ROSS: 00:13:41.62\00:13:50.56 Yes, absolutely. CHRIS: His accusations are overcome, and how are they overcome? JON-ROSS: 00:13:50.66\00:13:53.80 By the blood of the Lamb. CHRIS: And here's the key. When we look 00:13:53.90\00:13:58.27 at the Book of Revelation, we see this pattern emerging. For example, here, we have the lamb 00:13:58.37\00:14:06.14 and we have the dragon. And you know, in our own understanding of lamb and dragon, a dragon's 00:14:06.24\00:14:14.48 going to win every time. JON-ROSS: That's right. CHRIS: However, the promise of the Book 00:14:14.58\00:14:17.72 of Revelation and the gospel in Revelation is, the Lamb defeats the dragon through His blood and 00:14:17.82\00:14:26.23 through His sacrifice. And so we overcome the dragon. Actually, we don't overcome; God has 00:14:26.33\00:14:34.57 overcome the dragon, and we can have that same overcoming by placing - as we talked about 00:14:34.67\00:14:39.44 earlier - our faith in the life-giving sacrifice of Jesus Christ. JON-ROSS: That's 00:14:39.54\00:14:48.62 right. And we can tell that these people who overcome the accuser, it says that "and by 00:14:48.72\00:14:52.72 the word of their testimony." They had internalized, they had embraced the grace of God in 00:14:52.82\00:14:57.76 Jesus Christ, and they were sharing it with the world. They were unashamed of the Gospel. So 00:14:57.86\00:15:02.60 it's a really important point. They had internalized it; they had embraced it. CHRIS: Yes. So 00:15:02.70\00:15:07.74 let's go back to Romans, 'cause I know in Romans chapter 8, we left off in verse 33, but I know 00:15:07.84\00:15:14.38 in verse 34 - you and I had been talking - and in verse 34, there's a very important verse 00:15:14.48\00:15:18.61 there, and why don't you talk about that? Because right now, again, one of the great 00:15:18.71\00:15:24.95 difficulties we face is we say, "This is too good to be true. How is this even possible that 00:15:25.05\00:15:29.46 through Adam's sin, I deserve to die, because I've separated myself from God?" And some 00:15:29.56\00:15:37.13 people say, "Well, why should we die if we've separated from God?" Because when we understand 00:15:37.23\00:15:41.14 Who God is, God is the life-giving source of the entire universe. JON-ROSS: Yeah. 00:15:41.24\00:15:46.41 CHRIS: Let's read verse 34. Why don't you read that for us? 00:15:46.51\00:15:49.84 JON-ROSS: Yeah. CHRIS: Okay. So let's unpack this a little bit, because this has got some power 00:16:01.46\00:16:07.36 in it. Talk to me about what's happening here. Christ has died, Christ is seated at the right 00:16:07.46\00:16:12.00 hand of the Father, what's going on here? JON-ROSS: That's right. So here, Paul is saying, "Who 00:16:12.10\00:16:17.54 can condemn? Who can judge me as guilty, as unworthy? You can't. No one can because Christ Jesus, 00:16:17.64\00:16:28.48 my Saviour, He died for my sins." CHRIS: Okay, let's hit the pause button right there, 00:16:28.58\00:16:33.05 because I think this needs to be. because we live in a world where there is great 00:16:33.15\00:16:37.39 condemnation. We live in a world where there's condemnation coming from all over the place. 00:16:37.49\00:16:42.10 What you're telling me and what the Bible promises is, when I place my faith in Christ, no one 00:16:42.20\00:16:52.31 can make accusation against me because I've placed my full faith, my full trust in Him, and 00:16:52.41\00:16:58.88 His death and His blood covers me and reconciles me to Him. JON-ROSS: Yes, absolutely. 00:16:58.98\00:17:06.32 CHRIS: That is a powerful thing. But let's talk further, because it doesn't say He just. 00:17:06.42\00:17:10.79 because I think too often, our Christian message is, "Christ died for us." JON-ROSS: Mmhmm, 00:17:10.86\00:17:14.60 yeah. CHRIS: And we don't say anything else. JON-ROSS: That's right, but there's more. CHRIS: 00:17:14.73\00:17:17.50 There's more. What's more? JON-ROSS: Because you know, Paul was a student of the 00:17:17.57\00:17:20.04 Scriptures, and he wrote the Book of Romans. But the Scriptures that he said it was 00:17:20.10\00:17:24.17 not the New Testament - he was very familiar with the Old Testament - and when he invokes 00:17:24.24\00:17:28.94 this idea of interceding, he's drawing on this imagery of the priest from the Old Testament 00:17:29.01\00:17:34.78 sanctuary service. And it's beautiful. The Old Testament priest, he went into the 00:17:34.85\00:17:40.59 sanctuary, different compartments of the sanctuary at various times in the year, but 00:17:40.66\00:17:44.49 he did it on behalf of Israel, on behalf of the people. So when Paul says that, you know, "Who 00:17:44.56\00:17:50.77 can judge us? Christ died; more than that was raised and is at the right hand of God 00:17:50.97\00:17:55.87 interceding for us," he's saying, "Christ is there as our representative on behalf of us 00:17:55.94\00:18:03.04 before God, ministering on our behalf on our side there with Him." CHRIS: And that is 00:18:03.11\00:18:09.95 powerful because what this now defines for us very clearly is, the judgment is nothing to fear. 00:18:10.02\00:18:16.96 In fact, the judgment is something we can embrace because the judgment, the judgment in 00:18:17.06\00:18:22.60 and of itself, is good news, and the good news is. well, why don't you tell us? What is the 00:18:23.00\00:18:27.64 good news? JON-ROSS: The good news? Is I'm forgiven, I'm set free, and I can live with God 00:18:27.74\00:18:34.01 for eternity. CHRIS: And that is the ultimate good news. JON-ROSS: That is the ultimate 00:18:34.11\00:18:39.21 good news. There's. you know, the implication of what Paul brings out in verse 34, we can 00:18:39.31\00:18:45.19 find it in Revelation. CHRIS: Let's do it. JON-ROSS: Revelation 21. Revelation 21. 00:18:45.29\00:18:51.06 Last time, we were in Revelation 20. And in Revelation 21, what we find here, some beautiful 00:18:51.16\00:19:00.14 truth. Verses 3 to 7: 00:19:00.24\00:19:02.37 JON-ROSS: Let's pause there. That's beautiful. But we have to unpack it a little bit. We see 00:19:41.01\00:19:45.31 in verse 3, "Behold, the dwelling place of God is with man." The separation that sin 00:19:45.41\00:19:52.95 brought so long ago is gone, gone. There's no more separation. Sin has been 00:19:53.05\00:20:01.00 removed. CHRIS: Yes. The fascinating thing, it's very interesting, in the King James 00:20:01.10\00:20:05.03 Version, it says, "The tabernacle of God is with man." And it's very important for 00:20:05.13\00:20:08.70 people to understand that that's what. in the Old Testament, it says, "Let them build me a 00:20:08.80\00:20:13.34 sanctuary, that I may dwell with them." The tabernacle is all about a reunited relationship, 00:20:13.44\00:20:19.31 because God's desire is that He could be with us. JON-ROSS Yeah. And Jesus has already 00:20:19.41\00:20:24.52 affected that. He's already made it happen when He died at the cross, bearing my sins, dying 00:20:24.62\00:20:29.72 for me. He's already made provision for it; we're just waiting for it to happen. CHRIS: 00:20:29.82\00:20:34.96 That is a powerful, powerful thing. And you know. and I love the fact that it says, "Write 00:20:35.06\00:20:41.07 these things down because they are trustworthy." JON-ROSS Mmhmm. It's like John is saying, 00:20:41.17\00:20:44.54 "Remember it; it's coming; don't forget." CHRIS: Absolutely. Now, in the Book of Romans, back 00:20:44.64\00:20:51.48 in chapter 8, it talks about this promise even in a little bit more detail. Why don't we go 00:20:51.58\00:20:59.12 back to Romans for just a few moments, and let's look at that there. A couple of important 00:20:59.22\00:21:04.36 verses. Why don't you share with us? JON-ROSS: Absolutely. So Paul, then, again, continues 00:21:04.46\00:21:08.53 with asking his questions. He says: 00:21:08.63\00:21:10.30 JON-ROSS: There, in Paul's day, the Christians were facing intense persecution. It was not 00:21:25.21\00:21:29.85 uncommon to have someone kick in your door, drag you out of your home, and kill you because of 00:21:29.95\00:21:33.86 your faith in Christ. So there was real pressure that existed in. on the Christians of Paul's 00:21:33.96\00:21:39.33 day. But then he says: 00:21:39.43\00:21:40.96 JON-ROSS: Paul says, the love of Christ buoys us up, holds us strong, keeps us confident and 00:22:03.15\00:22:11.79 steadfast because it doesn't change, that regardless of what's happening around me, I 00:22:11.89\00:22:18.07 can be confident because I have a guarantee in heaven waiting for me. CHRIS: And that's 00:22:18.17\00:22:24.54 powerful because in most of our human relationships, whether they be friends, whether they be 00:22:24.64\00:22:29.81 family, we can often have those relationships change because of events in our life. But 00:22:29.91\00:22:35.22 Peter-Paul assures us that nothing will separate us. JON-ROSS: That's right. CHRIS: 00:22:35.32\00:22:41.22 Pastor Jon-Ross, we only have a couple minutes left, so let's land right at the end of the 00:22:41.32\00:22:44.89 Book of Revelation, Revelation chapter 22. Let's get right to the. because we began by talking 00:22:44.99\00:22:50.00 about the grace of Christ, the love of Christ, His relentless pursuit, right there in 00:22:50.10\00:22:58.14 Revelation 22. JON-ROSS: This is the Christian's hope, and it's the hope that we're just 00:22:58.24\00:23:02.54 simply waiting to take a hold of, because it's already been accomplished in Christ. Verses 4 00:23:02.64\00:23:05.55 and 5 of Revelation 22, it says: 00:23:05.65\00:23:09.02 CHRIS: This is amazing. And then the final words of the Book of Revelation. Why don't you 00:23:35.38\00:23:41.72 read those final words as we wrap this study up? JON-ROSS This captures the essence of 00:23:41.82\00:23:46.19 what John, I believe, is trying to communicate to us. He says: 00:23:46.29\00:23:50.63 JON-ROSS: John's experience of ministry with Christ, seeing the unveiling of God's love through 00:23:54.56\00:24:00.84 the Book of Revelation, he says, "Receive the gift of God's grace, because that's what's 00:24:00.94\00:24:06.07 going to sustain you and make salvation and eternity with God possible." CHRIS: The story of 00:24:06.17\00:24:11.85 Revelation is simple: A God relentlessly pursuing to mend a broken relationship, and the 00:24:11.95\00:24:19.92 question of whether or not we will receive the free gift He's given us. Let's have prayer. 00:24:20.02\00:24:26.09 JON-ROSS: Yeah. CHRIS: Heavenly Father, we are so grateful that 00:24:26.19\00:24:30.77 You sent Your Son Jesus. And my prayer is very simple right now, that all those that are hearing, 00:24:30.87\00:24:34.97 all those that are watching right now would receive the gift and be transformed. We pray this 00:24:35.07\00:24:41.44 in Jesus' name, amen. JON-ROSS: Amen. 00:24:41.54\00:24:43.58 > 00:25:15.78\00:25:17.15 Bev: Hi everyone. We've been focusing on the NEWSTART acronym, that's N, E, W, S, T, 00:25:17.88\00:25:23.05 A, R, T. And today we're looking at T = Trust in Divine Power. Changing our lifestyle is the 00:25:23.15\00:25:29.69 hardest thing many of us will ever try to do. It's difficult to change habits that we've 00:25:29.79\00:25:34.46 acquired, practiced and polished for years. That's why it's imperative that we trust in 00:25:34.56\00:25:40.47 Divine Power, because God is strong where we are weak. Let's just recap the NEWSTART 00:25:40.57\00:25:46.68 principles that we've learned. N is for Nutrition. We learned about carbohydrates, fats and 00:25:46.78\00:25:53.82 proteins. We learned that our bodies absolutely require carbohydrates. We learned to 00:25:53.92\00:25:58.39 stay away from too much fat, and how to incorporate more plant-based proteins in our 00:25:58.49\00:26:03.96 daily eating. E is for Exercise. It is such an essential part of a healthy lifestyle. And, we're 00:26:04.06\00:26:10.90 never too old to start! Be inspired by Hulda Crooks, who started mountain climbing at age 00:26:11.00\00:26:16.37 66. What a gal!! W is for Water. Are you getting enough? 6 to 10 cups per day is ideal, depending 00:26:16.47\00:26:25.11 on your size and activity level. S is for Sunshine. The kiss of the sun for vitamin D, and for 00:26:25.21\00:26:31.65 keeping our mood light and bright! T is for Temperance, an old-fashioned word for a 00:26:31.75\00:26:37.29 new-fangled notion called balance. It's important to have balance in all aspects of our 00:26:37.39\00:26:42.90 lives. Eat, exercise, and sleep just enough to enhance your health and keep your body 00:26:43.00\00:26:48.77 strong. A is for Air. Your body requires oxygen in order to function. Be sure that you are 00:26:48.87\00:26:55.98 living healthfully so that your trillions of cells can get all the oxygen they need. R is for 00:26:56.08\00:27:02.02 Rest. Are you getting 7 to 8 hours each night? Most of us aren't, and we suffer because of 00:27:02.12\00:27:07.66 it. T is for Trust in Divine Power. Philippians 4:13 tells us that we can do all things 00:27:07.76\00:27:15.00 through Christ who strengthens us. So, we know we can have a brand new start through Christ 00:27:15.10\00:27:20.87 who desires for us to have good health above all things. I love that! I hope you do too.
