>>Bill: In a hi-tech society like ours, we often need 00:00:02.46\00:00:04.90 instructions for using new products. 00:00:04.90\00:00:06.73 But who writes these instructions? 00:00:06.73\00:00:10.63 On a package of airline peanuts: "Open packet and eat contents." 00:00:10.63\00:00:16.16 Good advice! 00:00:16.16\00:00:22.13 On a chain saw: "Do not attempt to stop chain with your hands." 00:00:24.40\00:00:25.93 And finally, on a steering-wheel lock : "Warning--remove lock 00:00:27.76\00:00:31.13 before driving." 00:00:31.13\00:00:34.23 Unless, of course, you plan on making only right turns. 00:00:34.23\00:00:36.66 ANNOUNCER: It has stood the test of time. 00:00:49.56\00:00:51.80 God's book: the Bible, 00:00:52.56\00:00:55.30 still relevant in today's complex world. 00:00:56.40\00:00:59.73 It Is Written, 00:01:00.40\00:01:02.36 sharing the messages of hope around the world. 00:01:03.56\00:01:06.73 I love reading about these silly instructions - there are some 00:01:30.50\00:01:33.43 really great ones . "Do not use as ear plugs." 00:01:33.43\00:01:38.30 -- On a package of silly putty. 00:01:38.30\00:01:39.03 "May be harmful if swallowed." 00:01:40.26\00:01:41.80 -- On a shipment of hammers. 00:01:41.80\00:01:43.16 "Warning: May contain nuts." 00:01:44.20\00:01:47.86 -- On a package of peanuts. 00:01:47.86\00:01:49.00 "Do not eat toner." 00:01:50.33\00:01:53.26 -- On a toner cartridge for a laser printer. 00:01:53.26\00:01:54.56 "Warning: May contain small parts." 00:01:55.93\00:01:59.06 -- On a frisbee. 00:01:59.06\00:02:00.83 Much of the book of I Thessalonians is concerned with giving instructions. 00:02:03.66\00:02:08.93 The Christian believers in the city of Thessalonica faced persecution from the 00:02:08.93\00:02:13.80 outset. 00:02:13.80\00:02:16.00 In spite of this, the Thessalonian church appeared to 00:02:16.00\00:02:18.76 be a faithful community of believers. 00:02:18.76\00:02:21.30 The apostle Paul, author of I and II Thessalonians, often 00:02:21.30\00:02:26.30 praises them for their faithfulness, holy living, and 00:02:26.30\00:02:31.26 generosity. Yet he also wants to make sure that they are thoroughly instructed in 00:02:31.26\00:02:37.20 the issues of the faith, because he knows they will come under 00:02:37.20\00:02:41.76 great pressure from the surrounding society. 00:02:41.76\00:02:44.13 Keep away from promiscuity, he says to them, follow Christ's 00:02:44.13\00:02:49.86 example of holiness, work hard to support yourself, live at 00:02:49.86\00:02:52.63 peace with your neighbors. 00:02:52.63\00:02:55.86 The first half of I Thessalonians, chapter 4, teaches the believers in 00:02:55.86\00:03:00.23 Thessalonica how to LIVE as Christians. 00:03:00.23\00:03:05.50 The second half of this chapter teaches them how to DIE in the 00:03:05.50\00:03:14.26 same manner. And here is where Paul's attitude is so much healthier than our own. 00:03:14.26\00:03:19.43 We all crave instructions on how to live better, but rarely do we 00:03:19.43\00:03:24.63 give much thought to the question of how to die better. 00:03:24.63\00:03:27.43 In fact, we would rather avoid the subject altogether. 00:03:27.43\00:03:32.00 Paul writes: 00:03:32.00\00:03:34.43 Dying is an important part of living, so let's spend a few 00:03:51.16\00:03:57.40 moments thinking about this unique event in human 00:03:57.40\00:04:02.13 experience. There is a healthy and an unhealthy way to grieve. 00:04:05.13\00:04:07.83 When someone we love dies, it hurts. 00:04:07.83\00:04:11.26 Sometimes the hurt is overwhelming. 00:04:11.26\00:04:14.83 We call the process of dealing with that hurt, grief. 00:04:14.83\00:04:20.56 According to the Canadian Mental Health Association . 00:04:20.56\00:04:23.46 Paul does not tell us not to grieve. 00:05:07.50\00:05:12.40 What he says is, do not grieve as those who have no hope. 00:05:12.40\00:05:18.70 Grief is a natural part of losing a loved one to death. 00:05:18.70\00:05:24.23 A healthy person must grieve. 00:05:24.23\00:05:28.93 The question is, what is different about how a Christian 00:05:28.93\00:05:35.23 grieves? Joining me on today's program is Dr. Leader from Toronto's York University. 00:05:35.23\00:05:41.30 She is considered by many to be a grief expert. 00:05:41.30\00:05:46.33 Dr. Leader, I'd like to ask you today, how should a Christian 00:05:46.33\00:05:52.03 grieve? >>Dr. 00:05:52.90\00:05:54.20 Leader: Thank you Bill. 00:05:54.20\00:05:56.30 Grief is the normal reaction to loss of any kind. 00:05:56.30\00:05:58.50 We often associate grief with the death of a loved one. 00:05:58.50\00:06:01.40 However, grief normally occurs in the face of loss: loss of a 00:06:01.40\00:06:05.66 relationship including death; conflict or divorce and separation; death of a 00:06:05.66\00:06:11.76 pet; loss of health; loss of one's station in life, etc. Some 00:06:11.76\00:06:18.73 Christians and others believe that grieving is a sin, that is, it is wrong to grieve. 00:06:18.73\00:06:23.03 As a result of this view of grief, many Christians unnecessarily suffer in 00:06:23.03\00:06:27.03 silence, leading to complicated grief. 00:06:27.03\00:06:31.13 That is not what the Bible teaches. 00:06:31.13\00:06:34.50 Jesus grieved over the spiritual condition of the people at the 00:06:34.50\00:06:38.86 time of Lazarus' death. 00:06:38.86\00:06:41.10 John 11:35 stated: "Jesus wept. 00:06:41.10\00:06:44.20 " That was grief. 00:06:44.20\00:06:46.66 Grief touches all humanity, Christian or not. 00:06:46.66\00:06:51.10 Those who see loss as a natural part of our existence understand 00:06:51.10\00:06:55.73 the need to allow oneself to grieve, instead of bottling it 00:06:55.73\00:07:00.73 all up. Those who have the courage to actually grieve, tend to have a smoother passage 00:07:00.73\00:07:05.56 through the grief process than those who for one reason or 00:07:05.56\00:07:11.46 another believe they should hide their grief, show a stiff upper lip, and be strong for 00:07:11.46\00:07:15.10 everyone around them. 00:07:15.10\00:07:18.80 Grief is a painful process, but the process and duration are 00:07:18.80\00:07:22.60 different for each person. 00:07:22.60\00:07:25.16 Many prefer to avoid the pain of loss, grief and separation, yet 00:07:25.16\00:07:30.76 grieving is important. 00:07:30.76\00:07:34.20 It helps us mark the connection we once had with the person or 00:07:34.20\00:07:36.93 situation no longer there. 00:07:36.93\00:07:41.80 Though being a Christian does not take away the pain, grief 00:07:41.80\00:07:46.33 does not have to feel like a hopeless end. 00:07:46.33\00:07:49.30 Knowing God brings solace. 00:07:49.30\00:07:53.70 God Himself understands our pain and grief, and knows how to get 00:07:53.70\00:07:58.46 us through it. 00:07:58.46\00:08:00.06 He lost His only Son. 00:08:00.06\00:08:03.16 When our grief involves the death of a loved one, knowing 00:08:03.16\00:08:08.03 that there's a resurrection gives us confidence in Him who is the resurrection and the 00:08:08.03\00:08:13.13 life (John 11:25). 00:08:13.13\00:08:16.10 Here are some passages from God's word that address the 00:08:16.10\00:08:22.00 theme of grief: The Gospel Prophet in Isa 53:3 tells us that He, Jesus is acquainted 00:08:22.00\00:08:27.43 with grief. 00:08:27.43\00:08:32.53 In Isa. 00:08:32.53\00:08:34.30 61:1, Jesus comes to heal the "brokenhearted". 00:08:34.30\00:08:36.33 In vs. 00:08:36.33\00:08:38.50 2b, He comforts those who mourn and, In vs. 00:08:38.50\00:08:43.06 3, He is there to console those who mourn in Zion, to give them 00:08:43.06\00:08:49.50 beauty for ashes, and the oil of joy for mourning, and the garment of praise for the 00:08:49.50\00:08:55.06 spirit of heaviness. 00:08:55.06\00:08:57.53 In 1 Thess. 00:08:57.53\00:09:02.13 4:13, Paul encourages the brethren to have hope that just as Jesus was raised 00:09:02.13\00:09:04.80 from the dead, then they should have hope about their loved ones 00:09:04.80\00:09:08.43 who "sleep in Jesus". 00:09:08.43\00:09:11.00 He is here speaking about losing loved ones. 00:09:11.00\00:09:15.96 The book of Lamentations written by the prophet Ezekiel is of 00:09:15.96\00:09:20.70 full of just that. 00:09:20.70\00:09:23.03 Read chapter 3 when you have the opportunity. 00:09:23.03\00:09:27.90 Our favourite song "Great is thy faithfulness" is based on verse 00:09:27.90\00:09:30.13 22, 23 which says... 00:09:30.13\00:09:33.90 Let's console each other and support one another through 00:09:49.06\00:09:52.96 grief. God knows what we go through, and he has made provision in His word for 00:09:52.96\00:09:58.00 us to find comfort, but He placed us in one another's lives 00:09:58.00\00:10:02.50 to minister that comfort. 00:10:02.50\00:10:05.63 We serve a great God, don't we? 00:10:05.63\00:10:08.50 Back to you Bill. 00:10:08.50\00:10:10.50 >>Bill: Thank you Dr. Leader. 00:10:12.06\00:10:14.30 How do we help others who are going through the grieving 00:10:14.30\00:10:19.23 process. The apostle Paul says near the end of this passage, "Therefore comfort one 00:10:19.23\00:10:23.60 another with these words." 00:10:23.60\00:10:26.40 Comfort each other by talking about death? 00:10:26.40\00:10:31.16 Yes! 00:10:31.16\00:10:32.63 That's exactly what he means. 00:10:32.63\00:10:33.76 Talk about it. 00:10:33.76\00:10:34.90 Vent your emotions. 00:10:34.90\00:10:36.36 Express your fears. 00:10:36.36\00:10:37.90 Ponder the mysteries. 00:10:37.90\00:10:39.73 But emphasize the hope! 00:10:39.73\00:10:45.20 Let's return to our Bible passage: 00:10:45.20\00:10:47.30 This is the reality of death for followers of Jesus Christ: death 00:11:11.10\00:11:15.63 hurts. It hurts bad, but it is not the end. 00:11:15.63\00:11:18.60 We will be raised up to eternal life, and we will be with the 00:11:18.60\00:11:25.20 Lord forever! John 11 tells us the story of Lazarus' illness 00:11:25.20\00:11:32.60 and death. Among the most steadfast of Christ's disciples was Lazarus of Bethany. 00:11:32.60\00:11:39.40 From their first meeting his faith in Christ had been strong; 00:11:39.40\00:11:44.90 his love for Him was deep, and he was greatly beloved by the 00:11:44.90\00:11:50.90 Saviour. It was for Lazarus that the greatest of Christ's miracles was performed. 00:11:50.90\00:11:56.86 Jesus would often come to Lazarus' home to rest. 00:11:58.80\00:12:02.13 Jesus did not have his own home; He was dependent on the 00:12:02.13\00:12:07.00 hospitality of His friends and disciples, and on many occasions, He would escape to 00:12:07.00\00:12:11.66 this peaceful household, away from the suspicion and jealousy 00:12:11.66\00:12:16.43 of the angry Pharisees. 00:12:16.43\00:12:19.13 Here He could speak with simplicity and perfect freedom, 00:12:19.13\00:12:23.80 knowing that His words would be understood and treasured. 00:12:23.80\00:12:27.33 One day Jesus got word that Lazarus was not well. 00:12:27.33\00:12:34.33 John 11: 3 00:12:34.33\00:12:36.53 They believed that Jesus would sympathize with them in their 00:12:45.00\00:12:50.23 distress; they thought that He would respond immediately and would come right away. 00:12:50.23\00:12:54.10 Anxiously they waited for Jesus to come or at least for a word 00:12:54.10\00:12:59.00 from Jesus. As long as Lazarus was alive they prayed and watched for Jesus to come. 00:12:59.00\00:13:04.30 But the messenger returned without Him. 00:13:04.30\00:13:08.26 When Lazarus died, they were bitterly disappointed; but they 00:13:08.26\00:13:12.53 refrained from placing any blame on Jesus. 00:13:12.53\00:13:16.43 After two days, Jesus said to the disciples, 00:13:16.43\00:13:18.93 This is the other side of faith. 00:13:26.76\00:13:29.30 We will not forever feel forsaken. 00:13:29.30\00:13:33.96 Christ may linger in another place for a long time, or so it 00:13:33.96\00:13:37.76 seems. But his absence is temporary. 00:13:37.76\00:13:43.00 He has not forgotten us. 00:13:43.00\00:13:45.86 On his arrival, Jesus found that Lazarus had already been in the 00:13:45.86\00:13:52.50 tomb for four days. 00:13:52.50\00:13:54.03 There was no life left in him. 00:13:54.03\00:13:57.76 Martha rushed to meet Jesus, her heart troubled by conflicting 00:13:57.76\00:14:04.00 emotions. When she saw Jesus, the look on His face portrayed the tenderness and love 00:14:04.00\00:14:08.03 that had always been there. 00:14:08.03\00:14:11.46 Her confidence in Him was unbroken, but she thought of her brother, whom Jesus 00:14:11.46\00:14:15.23 also had loved. 00:14:15.23\00:14:19.13 With grief surging in her heart because Christ had not come 00:14:19.13\00:14:24.03 before, yet with hope that even now He would do something to comfort them, she said, 00:14:24.03\00:14:27.36 And after she had said this, she went back and called her sister 00:15:22.26\00:15:24.00 Mary aside. 00:15:24.00\00:15:27.16 "The Teacher is here," she said, "and is asking for you. 00:15:27.16\00:15:31.56 When Mary reached the place where Jesus was and saw him, she 00:15:31.56\00:15:34.76 fell at his feet and said the same thing Martha said, "Lord, if you had been here, my 00:15:34.76\00:15:38.66 brother would not have died. 00:15:38.66\00:15:44.20 " When Jesus saw her weeping, and those who had come along 00:15:44.20\00:15:48.13 with her also weeping, he was deeply moved in spirit and 00:15:48.13\00:15:52.10 troubled. "Where have you laid him? 00:15:52.10\00:15:54.16 " he asked. 00:15:54.16\00:15:55.63 "Come and see, Lord," they replied. 00:15:55.63\00:15:58.56 Jesus wept. 00:15:58.56\00:16:05.73 We love that verse, don't we? 00:16:05.73\00:16:11.56 It saved many of us when we were young and were asked to recite a 00:16:11.56\00:16:16.03 Bible verse. 00:16:16.03\00:16:17.93 "Jesus wept"--the shortest verse in the Bible. 00:16:17.93\00:16:22.23 But it is also one of the most powerful. 00:16:22.23\00:16:25.06 Jesus wept. 00:16:25.06\00:16:29.83 Real tears. 00:16:29.83\00:16:31.73 Just like we cry real tears when we are hurting. 00:16:31.73\00:16:35.66 To know that Jesus cares, that he enters into our pain and 00:16:35.66\00:16:40.00 feels our suffering is at the heart of our faith. 00:16:40.00\00:16:44.13 There's an important lesson here. 00:16:44.13\00:16:46.16 When people are in grief, they don't want theological 00:16:46.16\00:16:48.53 pronouncements. 00:16:48.53\00:16:50.36 They just want us to come and love them. 00:16:50.36\00:16:53.70 They just want us to come and cry with them. 00:16:53.70\00:16:57.03 Jesus wept with those He loved, and He still does. 00:16:57.03\00:17:02.63 He hurts with us. 00:17:02.63\00:17:04.86 He feels our pain. 00:17:04.86\00:17:08.00 We all face suffering some time and when it comes, one thing we 00:17:08.00\00:17:14.83 can know is that our Lord is hurting with us, and He will love us through it. 00:17:14.83\00:17:21.70 He will walk through the valley with us and in time He will 00:17:21.70\00:17:26.30 bring us out of the valley of sorrow to the mountaintop on the 00:17:26.30\00:17:29.73 other side. Jesus wept with those he loved and he still 00:17:29.73\00:17:37.90 does. Friends standing around said, "See how he loved him! 00:17:37.90\00:17:42.86 " But some of them said, "Could not he who opened the eyes of 00:17:42.86\00:17:49.10 the blind man have kept this man from dying? 00:17:49.10\00:17:51.96 " Jesus, once more deeply moved, came to the tomb. 00:17:51.96\00:17:58.06 It was a cave with a stone laid across the entrance. 00:17:58.06\00:18:02.86 "Take away the stone," he said. 00:18:02.86\00:18:06.70 "But, Lord," said Martha, "by this time there is a bad odor, 00:18:06.70\00:18:11.20 for he has been there four days. 00:18:11.20\00:18:12.70 " Then Jesus said, " 00:18:12.70\00:18:14.96 I have heard someone comment on this saying, "If Jesus hadn't 00:18:45.10\00:18:48.43 limited that command to Lazarus, every corpse in the graveyard 00:18:48.43\00:18:51.73 would have come forth! 00:18:51.73\00:18:53.76 " Jesus called in a loud voice, "Lazarus, come out! 00:18:53.76\00:18:59.56 " And the dead man came out, his hands and feet wrapped with 00:18:59.56\00:19:04.26 strips of linen, and a cloth around his face. 00:19:04.26\00:19:07.53 Jesus said to them, "Take off the grave clothes and let him 00:19:07.53\00:19:10.90 go. " What an amazing story. 00:19:10.90\00:19:14.80 After four days in the tomb, Jesus raised a dead man from the 00:19:14.80\00:19:20.30 grave. Resurrection is a present reality, not a wild futuristic 00:19:20.30\00:19:29.83 fantasy. The apostle Paul, writing to the church at Corinth, says that this is the 00:19:29.83\00:19:33.36 central claim of Christianity, that Christ's own resurrection 00:19:33.36\00:19:39.40 and his power to raise others is absolutely critical for the 00:19:39.40\00:19:44.16 Christian faith. 00:19:44.16\00:19:46.20 Paul says )ú the resurrection is not true, then Christianity is 00:19:46.20\00:19:49.83 meaningless, and if it is true, only then do we have reason to 00:19:49.83\00:19:55.86 hope for the future. 00:19:55.86\00:19:58.06 But that hope is not born in times of celebration and 00:19:58.06\00:20:03.66 rejoicing. Hope is born of grief and sorrow, given birth by a man well acquainted with 00:20:03.66\00:20:10.76 grief and sorrow, who weeps with us. 00:20:10.76\00:20:15.70 Resurrection hope didn't come to a bunch of folks who were 00:20:15.70\00:20:20.30 rejoicing and triumphant. 00:20:20.30\00:20:22.80 It came to folks who were at the end of their rope, who were 00:20:22.80\00:20:26.60 shaking their heads and saying, "I don't know, Lord. 00:20:26.60\00:20:29.43 I just don't know." 00:20:29.43\00:20:32.03 Through tears and weariness, through fear and confusion, 00:20:32.03\00:20:36.40 through the disorientation of grief, through arms reaching out to feel their way in the 00:20:36.40\00:20:41.93 darkness, resurrection came. 00:20:41.93\00:20:45.00 It came because our God is a God who breathes new life even into 00:20:45.00\00:20:49.33 dry, dead bones. 00:20:49.33\00:20:51.13 It came because with God, all things are possible. 00:20:51.13\00:20:55.33 It came because God really is love. 00:20:55.33\00:21:02.40 Where is our hope in the face of death? 00:21:02.40\00:21:06.43 Jesus says, 00:21:06.43\00:21:08.33 That's where our hope is. 00:21:10.86\00:21:12.76 God can bring new life even in the midst of death. 00:21:12.76\00:21:16.86 God invites each of us, everyone, everywhere, to come to 00:21:16.86\00:21:21.16 new life in Jesus Christ. 00:21:21.16\00:21:23.53 Because, you see, God is not willing to let death have the 00:21:23.53\00:21:27.70 last word. But in order to be witnesses to the resurrection, 00:21:27.70\00:21:32.16 we've got to walk through the valley of the shadow of death. 00:21:32.16\00:21:35.40 Despite our questions, despite our doubts - we go on believing. 00:21:35.40\00:21:41.06 Death still stinks, but we struggle to roll away the tombstones, to help one 00:21:41.06\00:21:48.76 another remove the wrappings of death that bind us all in one 00:21:48.76\00:21:53.10 way or another. 00:21:53.10\00:21:55.30 And we, of all people should know that . "the Lord Himself 00:21:55.30\00:22:03.13 will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel and with the 00:22:03.13\00:22:07.93 trumpet of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first. 00:22:07.93\00:22:12.73 Then we who are alive and remain will be caught up together with 00:22:12.73\00:22:17.80 them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air, and so we shall always be with the Lord. 00:22:17.80\00:22:23.23 Therefore comfort one another with these words. 00:22:23.23\00:22:33.63 I'm only human; I'm just a woman 00:22:36.30\00:22:41.43 Help me be all I can be and all that I am 00:22:46.20\00:22:54.73 Show me the stairway 00:22:55.83\00:22:59.76 I have to climb 00:23:00.63\00:23:04.33 So for my sake 00:23:05.10\00:23:07.30 Teach me to take 00:23:07.96\00:23:09.23 One day at a time 00:23:09.96\00:23:14.50 One day at a time, sweet Jesus 00:23:15.43\00:23:19.76 That's all I'm asking from you 00:23:21.10\00:23:26.36 Help me today to do everything that I have to do 00:23:27.70\00:23:36.16 Yesterday's gone sweet Jesus 00:23:37.16\00:23:41.30 And tomorrow may never be mine 00:23:42.26\00:23:48.23 Help me today 00:23:48.90\00:23:50.46 Show me the way 00:23:51.10\00:23:52.93 One day at a time. 00:23:53.60\00:23:57.73 Do you remember 00:23:58.83\00:24:03.26 When you walked among men 00:24:04.16\00:24:07.46 Well Jesus, you know if you're looking below 00:24:08.66\00:24:12.43 It's worse now than then 00:24:13.20\00:24:16.90 Cheating and stealing, violence and crime 00:24:17.96\00:24:26.56 So for my sake 00:24:27.63\00:24:29.40 Teach me to take 00:24:30.00\00:24:31.73 One day at a time 00:24:32.50\00:24:36.60 One day at a time, sweet Jesus 00:24:37.63\00:24:41.76 That's all I'm asking from you 00:24:42.76\00:24:48.73 Help me today to do everything that I have to do 00:24:50.00\00:24:58.60 Yesterday's gone sweet Jesus 00:24:59.56\00:25:03.56 And tomorrow may never be mine 00:25:04.53\00:25:10.33 Help me today 00:25:10.96\00:25:12.66 Show me the way 00:25:13.36\00:25:15.23 One day at a time. 00:25:15.96\00:25:19.76 Help me today 00:25:20.46\00:25:22.56 Show me the way 00:25:23.26\00:25:24.63 One day at a time. 00:25:25.33\00:25:34.80 >>Bill: Let us pray. 00:25:36.23\00:25:39.30 Heavenly Father, at this moment in time, we think of those who 00:25:39.30\00:25:43.86 are travelling through the valley of the shadow of death. 00:25:43.86\00:25:47.80 In their grief and dispair they see no way out. 00:25:47.80\00:25:53.80 Father draw close to them right now. 00:25:53.80\00:25:57.33 And may they live with the assurance of the ressurection in 00:25:57.33\00:26:03.53 Jesus Christ, Amen. 00:26:03.53\00:26:05.30 >>Dave: God is great and beyond all human comprehension. 00:26:22.76\00:26:27.10 We are told that his eyes are even on the sparrow, therefore 00:26:27.10\00:26:31.10 his eyes are on us. 00:26:31.10\00:26:33.36 Pastor Bill has prepared a book that includes all of the 00:26:33.36\00:26:35.76 messages in this series. 00:26:35.76\00:26:37.50 The book is called "Fear not, for I am with you". 00:26:37.50\00:26:40.26 We would like to send it to you as our gift. 00:26:40.26\00:26:42.76 Here is the information you need to get your copy. 00:26:42.76\00:26:45.26 >>Bill: Well we have come to the end of another It Is Written 00:27:45.03\00:27:47.73 program -- incredible how quickly these 30 minuet's go by. 00:27:47.73\00:27:50.90 I'm so happy that you joined us and I hope and pray that you 00:27:50.90\00:27:53.76 will join us again next week. 00:27:53.76\00:27:57.20 Remember to visit our web site " I t IsWrittenCanada.ca". 00:27:57.20\00:28:00.73 There you can see all of the programs that have been 00:28:00.73\00:28:05.20 archived, you can send prayer requests, you can even make an online donation to this ministry 00:28:05.20\00:28:10.50 to help keep this program on the air. 00:28:10.50\00:28:15.90 Don't forget the youtube channel " y outube.com/IIWCanada" 00:28:15.90\00:28:20.13 and you can also follow us on twitter. 00:28:20.13\00:28:22.40 Well, let's make plans to be back together again next week 00:28:22.40\00:28:25.76 and the good Lord willing, that will be a reality. 00:28:25.76\00:28:28.96 Until then remember, it is written man shall not live by 00:28:28.96\00:28:34.66 bread alone but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of 00:28:34.66\00:28:39.46 God. $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ 00:28:41.20\00:28:41.23
