time. Yet, I am able to think of

ease. Here's the amazing thing,

Lines are being blurred, and

non-existent. It seems that our

look into the world of

entertainment, we find competing
values. Many studies have been

18-year-old - let this sink in

has witnessed 200,000 violent

acts on television and in the
movies, including 40,000
murders. Let that sink in for a

mindset, that someone witnesses
violent acts and murder? It has

desensitized our society. And
what we're seeing and that the
research reveals is the Biblical

witness violent act after

my 11th-grade year, that one of

in the back of a car, and
someone approached their car,

to be the wrong colour, whose

- the wrong side. And this
classmate of mine, pulled out a

gun and killed this young man.
Later he went to trial, was
found guilty and was sentenced

is what's happening in society.

You see, it's starting younger

outsiders, workers, who were

them. Then the parents would buy
the drugs and have no money for

children would steal the

parents' drugs. So you have

society. We see it all around.

You see the Jerusalem factor is

to the new Jerusalem. To the
tabernacle made by God and not

ever quickening moral decay or

wrote some things in stone,

How long? Forever and ever. That
is powerful. You see, God wrote
His precepts, which is

they would stand forever. But

God's law is under attack. But

interesting, the book of Daniel

actually predicts exactly what's
happening in society, because
there's an entity working to

actually tear down the law of
God. We've read about it before
in Daniel chapter 7 and

He [speaking of that little
horn, religiopolitical power],

Whose law is he trying to
change? God's law. So now we
have this entity that's actually

trying to change the law.
Additionally in Daniel 8:25 this
little horn power is doing all

he can to undermine
God's governance, it says:

Who's the Prince of princes?
Jesus Christ Himself. But then
interestingly enough, when you

go to Daniel chapter 11, this
same little horn power is at it
once again, and it says that he

shall turn in rage against the
holy covenant. Whose covenant is
the holy covenant? That's God's

us that at the end of time, when
this little horn power would

would actually work to change

Why is this all important? Other
than the obvious reason of the

the dragon? It is Satan. He was
enraged with the woman. In Bible

prophecy, a woman represents the
church. And he went to make war
with who? The rest of her

offspring. If you're reading
from the King James Version, it
says "the remnant of her Seed."

What is that talking about?
That's talking about those who
are God's people that are

leftover that look like the
original intention of God's
people. And how are they

talks about the law of God being
attacked. The book of Revelation

will be keeping the

commandments. And here's the
amazing thing about the Ten
Commandments. Even though the

Ten Commandments were written
sometime about 3500 years ago,
the Ten Commandments speak with

relevance and meaning to the
21st century. Now, let me
clarify what I just said. God

wrote it in stone and gave it to
Moses 3500 years ago. But we're
going to see in our study, that

God's law has not existed only
for 3500 years. The Bible says
that God's law is eternal.

But look at these commandments.
What would happen in society
today? What would happen - and

let's not make it so big - what
would happen in Calgary or
Toronto or St John's or

Vancouver, what would happen in
Canada, if no one placed any
other God before the God of

heaven? Now, I'm not talking
about forced religion. What if
people placed God first in their

life? What would happen? What
would happen if we lived in a
society where people did not

worship idols? And by the way,
when I speak of worshipping
idols, don't say in your mind,

"Oh, I don't have any statues in
my house." But idols being, "th
worshipping people or events or

other things, and caring about
those things more than I do
about God." What would happen in

our society if the name of God

know, I travel a lot, and I'll

we were travelling at the same
time, we were sitting in the

lounge waiting for our airplane,
and there was a man across the
way that - and I'm not being

judgemental of him, I'm simply
making an observation -
literally, not figuratively,

literally, every other word out
of his mouth was a foul word.
And I just sat there, and I

going to turn my phone on and
I'm going to record him, and

loud, so he can hear what he

that, but imagine a society with

overburdened, stressed, and full

that's not a condition of the

society where no one killed each

Every news outlet would go out
of business. What would happen

in a society where there was no

adultery, no infidelity, ever?

society where no one stole

one bore false witness against

very clear in what I'm about to

given my life to Jesus Christ.
But here's what I want to ask,

make society a better place.
Imagine for a moment - which I

imagine for a moment that the

was all just a fairytale - which

imagine that we lived, each one
of us, lived our lives in

Commandments, and we got to the
end of our life and found out

wear to live in such a way?

But here's the beauty of it all:
God does exist. Jesus is coming
soon. And Jesus is coming

like that. And it's a beautiful
thing. You see, God's law is the

It's the foundation of His
governance. And God's law is

standard which defines sin and
establishes our accountability

factor. There exists an
unchangeable moral standard for

notice now, we're going to try
to understand why the law

exists, because there is a lot
of discussion in Christianity
about the law of God, with many

Christians ignoring the law
of God. But 1 John 3:4 is very

clear. Other versions will say
that sin is the transgression of
the law. You see, sin is defined

by God's law. Sin is when we
break God's law. How do we
identify sin? How do we know

it for us. The beauty of that
is, there's no floating

relativistic approach to moral
