fulfilled around the world.

that Matthew 24 and 25

coming would be synonymous

and then we also have the signs

but in Jesus' answer

to the disciples
what would it be like.

So there's many of them.

They asked for one sign,

but He gave them a
whole chapter full.

In fact, chapter 24
of Matthew are signs

that you would
see out in the world

that you would see on
the news or in the newspaper.

that you would
see in the church.

Isn't that incredible?

So they're both
part of the same answer,

and they're both
very significant,

but we will focus primarily
on the ones that we see

in the world around us today.

And the first one, I

falling of the stars

there'll be great upheaval

Another one is
decline of morality,

as in the days of Lot and
the days of Noah, you know,

everyone was thinking
about evil only continually.

And then finally, and
the best one of course,

is evangelism, it's
going to all the world.

when the Gospel is preached.

to always emphasize

when I read that verse,
this Gospel of the kingdom

will be
preached to all the world

as witness to all nations
and then the end will come.

when you do it I'll come.

He says, "It will be

So the reason I

prophets a little bit.

era of the false prophets

that 3 times in Matthew 24

and this answer
to the disciples.

Jesus warned
about false prophets.

For example, in verse 4 and 5,

"Take heed that
no one deceive you,

many will come in my
name," and that kind of thing.

Verse 11, "Many false prophets
will rise up and deceive many."

Matthew 24, "False
Christ and false prophets

will arise deceiving if
possible even the elect."

And that's the kind of people
that we hope to be is the elect

that we spend our
time committed to God,

studying His word and so on.

But he wants to even
deceive that kind of person.

Now here's the real
strange thing about this.

If someone came to
you or somebody you saw

on the front page of USA Today,

this man claims
to be Jesus Christ,

that would
probably not deceive you,

it wouldn't deceive me, right?

No.

Unless you went
to hear him speak.

These people have
supernatural satanic powers

that just convicts people
and I could tell you stories

about things
like that happening.

It's amazing.

So that's why what
Jesus says that they will say,

"He's here, over there."

in yourself to resist that.

It's very, very difficult to do.

But a false prophet
is basically someone

who claims to speak for

favorite preachers,

are they trying
to get people ready

to meet the Lord coming soon?

get people back to obedience

to the laws of God
in the commandments

like we're supposed to do?

This is pretty serious
stuff when you think about it.

that they will fool

"Is it possible?"

And I say, "Yes, it is." It is.

Yes, the bottom line is,

in our own
strength, we're powerless.

and punishing

Millions of people
were killed during that time

because of their...

when the state church.

today is something about that

the primary big church,

into politics as never before.

three of the United States
presidents, who were living,

including the Olympic Games.

of them are Roman Catholics,
