have to begin with the Bible,

commission is designed for us,

People in small churches
tend to be very comfortable

in their own environment
because they're few in number.

May be there are 10 or 15 or 20,

I pastored a church with 30

but in one year we
had over a hundred.

Why?

Is because we understood
the biblical commission

and the principle "Get Out."

And so small
churches have to learn

to get outside of the
churches, go into the community

and demonstrate number
one, that you are there.

Most small churches
are afraid to go outside

because they feel
that they do not have

a big evangelist to help them.

You do not need a
big evangelist to come in

and help you and
your small group.

All you need is
just a group of believers

who are willing to go
out and test the Father,

love of Christ
to another person.

So, lets take an
example, if you have a church

people, five are young people,

may be one or two junior
youths, senior youths okay.

Now you have ten
they are trained to talk

about the love of
Christ to their friends.

They're going to
interest their friends

in doing basic Bible studies.

That means 10 people help

Now, each and

in our community,

is based on relations.

you have to talk to people,

and knowing your neighbors

When I was pastoring in Canada
I was given a small church.

They were gonna
close the church down

and send the members to

cars not a problem.

The church was a house
church it sat on a corner,

it was built with boulders.

The basement was so
low that you had to duck.

They have one bathroom,

the sanctuary was
only one sanctuary.

They cut the sanctuary in
three quarters to have a hallway

because the church was
dwindling down in size.

me in as a pastor.

that they where children

So, I started
preaching youthful sermons.

months a representative

to talk to their neighbors

with a full time pastor.

Relationalship
evangelism is very simple

all you need is mouth

Biblical foundation

to go to your friends and
talk about the love of Christ.

That's the simple technique.
Let's use another example.

sitting inside someone's home

seems like there is a gap

having good intensions

excited about the Lord

and wanted to share their faith

having knowledge of a focus.

I mean something happen, I mean
I think there are lot of people

who are listen to this
program really love the Lord

would really like to see

their churches
grow, their group,

a Bible studies to grow.

But, obviously
something happens specially

dealing with drug
abuse and alcohol abuse.

to the salvation army and
say what can we do to help?

So, we were lending
our hands in the community.

only had about 30 people
