00:01 Disease is a word that actually defines itself.
00:05 "Dis and ease".. you put those 2 phrases together and you have 00:10 "disease" or the lack of ease. 00:14 Another way to define disease is an effort of nature 00:19 to rid herself of the conditions that have resulted 00:22 from broken health law. 00:24 We'll be talking about some of these laws... 00:26 and what you can do to help your body to rid itself of these 00:31 conditions during this program. 00:33 We hope you will join us for it. 00:54 Welcome to "Help Yourself to Health" 00:56 with Dr. Agatha Thrash of Uchee Pines Institute 01:00 And now, here's your host, Dr. Thrash 01:04 We don't always know what laws we have broken when we 01:08 have a disease. 01:09 Sometimes, we do but much of the time, 01:12 we just don't know. 01:14 We think we may have broken some law, and as we 01:19 think about our program, we can sometimes pinpoint 01:23 ..."Yes, here is where I've made a mistake" 01:26 and that led to a disease. " 01:29 I know a woman who had a little girl who was probably about 01:34 2 or 2-1/2, and when she was just 01:39 going into the hospital for the birth of her second child, 01:42 the little girl had some swollen gums and they looked 01:46 a little spongy and uncomfortable, 01:49 but she still had a good appetite 01:51 and everything seemed to be all right. 01:53 So, the new baby was born and the mother brought 01:56 the baby home, and looked at her little daughter 01:59 and her gums were now bleeding. 02:03 Not only that, she had some swollen lymph nodes. 02:06 Well, she had heard somewhere back in her ancient past 02:10 that bleeding gums and swollen lymph nodes 02:14 meant leukemia. 02:16 So immediately she thought, "My child has leukemia. " 02:19 So she could hardly get in the house. 02:22 She sent her husband with the little girl 02:25 to the pediatrician's office and the diagnosis was 02:29 brought back... "infectious lymphadenitis" 02:32 Ahh... we can draw a deep breath on that one! 02:35 We didn't have a real serious problem. 02:38 What a joy! What a privilege! 02:40 What a relief that is! 02:42 So in this instance, they checked back to see if 02:47 they could determine what it might be that had caused 02:50 the little girl to have a weakening of her immune system 02:54 that caused the infectious lymphadenitis. 02:56 A few hot baths and some hot packs to her throat 03:00 and the entire neck abolished the infectious lymphadenitis 03:05 and she was perfectly fine. 03:07 But when they checked back in her recent history, 03:10 they remembered that about 3 or 4 days before 03:14 the new baby was born, this older child had gone 03:20 to a little birthday party for another child, 03:24 and she had eaten some things 03:25 that ordinarily, she didn't eat at home... 03:27 And apparently that weakened the immune system 03:29 enough so that she was not able to hold the fences high 03:36 on the problem with infectious lymphadenitis. 03:40 Now sometimes our problems are very small like that, 03:45 but one of the big problems, that for couples 03:48 can be such a serious problem, that both the wife and the 03:53 husband are quite sick at heart about it, 03:57 and that is infertility. 03:59 Infertility can be a problem that both men and women have, 04:05 and with women, the problem is much more difficult to find 04:09 than in men. 04:11 In women, they may have blocked tubes. 04:15 They may have a problem with the cervix. 04:17 It may be a problem with the vagina. 04:19 There may be an inadequate cushion for the implantation of 04:24 the little ovum, or the ovum itself may not be 04:27 of good quality. 04:29 There are many, many reasons why a woman can be infertile. 04:33 And sometimes the treatment for her may not be as easy as 04:38 it is for a man. 04:40 There are certain hormonal problems that a woman can have. 04:43 She can have a thyroid problem, 04:45 and that can cause her to have a serious difficulty 04:50 with conceiving. 04:53 It may be so severe that each month, 04:56 she goes into a depression. 04:57 Just sick at heart because no pregnancy had resulted. 05:02 And the thyroid problem is corrected, and sometimes 05:05 if that were the principal cause of her infertility, 05:10 then she conceives. 05:12 Sometimes, it's an ovarian problem. 05:15 Something wrong with the ovary, 05:16 or something wrong with her cycles. 05:18 There are several ways that the hormones can 05:22 go out of kilter, and can make it so that she cannot conceive. 05:28 Now sometimes, it is not the woman who is the 05:33 problem... it is the man... 05:35 And Dr. Don Miller is going to talk with you some about 05:39 male infertility. 05:41 What can you tell us that will shed some light on this topic. 05:45 Well, whenever I deal with people, and this often happens 05:49 when I'm in places like India, where there is a fertility 05:52 problem... of course it's always the women coming to me 05:54 The men will NEVER come... 05:56 And, of course, the first problem I see in places like 05:59 this is... Here's this woman who I would 06:02 take to be in her late teens, and she is, 06:04 and she's been married for 8-9 years, and she's been unable 06:08 to conceive... I'm just thinking the trauma 06:10 that this poor child has gone 06:12 through has probably had a lot to do with it. 06:14 But I would always tell her AND her spouse... 06:16 This is what I tell them when I go there... 06:19 I say, "Look, what I want you to do, is I want you to go home 06:23 and eat the BEST foods you can find. 06:26 Natural foods... I want you to eat a lot of 06:28 B vitamin-type foods. 06:30 As a matter of fact, I will buy the B vitamins, 06:32 give them multiple vitamins, some complex B vitamins 06:37 Have them eat a lot of fresh fruits and vegetables, 06:40 and have no relations for at least one month... 06:43 And then according to their cycle, when they're at the peak 06:47 of their fertility, I say... then is when you try 06:50 it again, and see what happens. 06:52 But men often get into problems, you're seeing this more and more 06:55 More and more men today are infertile for a couple of 06:58 very common reasons. 07:00 #1. They're taking steroids, trying to build up their bodies 07:05 which is going to lessen their production of sperm 07:07 and, therefore, they're not going to be able to 07:09 enable their wives to conceive. 07:11 And so, if men want to have children, or have their wives 07:15 have children, they need to stay away from the steroids, 07:17 and let the muscles develop naturally. 07:20 But there's another new one... it's not so new, 07:23 but it's been recently discovered... 07:25 Not long ago, I bought a bicycle, 07:28 and I rode that thing, and I was in a lot of pain 07:31 because they have this little thing about the size of a banana 07:34 ...and I don't like sitting on bananas for long periods of time 07:37 especially these hard bananas. 07:38 They find that people who ride bicycles with this 07:41 narrow seat, because of the lack of circulation, 07:46 that this will cause, because this is pushing up into that 07:49 area, will decrease the amount of spermatozoa the body will 07:53 produce and, therefore, reduce a man's fertility himself. 07:56 And so, we need to get those nice big tractor seats 07:59 It may not look very macho. 08:01 It may not make you very aerodynamic... 08:03 but I would recommend you get a smaller seat. 08:05 Also, the overheating of the male organs is not very good. 08:11 So basically, the jockey-type underwear... 08:16 these really tight little bikini-type... 08:19 I see some men... in the stores you see the 08:21 advertisements for bikini-type underwear for men 08:24 Not healthy for the male anatomy. 08:26 And so the best thing for him to do is get the boxer-type 08:30 shorts, and that might help him a lot in staying away 08:33 from the infertility problem with his wife. 08:35 There are other psychological things also in this thing. 08:39 You know, both the husband and the wife have to be at one 08:42 I think sometimes the body says... 08:44 "No, we're not going to let this happen because 08:46 things just aren't right. " 08:47 But then there's another thing we've got to consider... 08:49 Maybe God is saying, "For some, yes, but for you, no" 08:53 But there's another factor in there too... 08:55 that I failed to mention, and we need to mention because 08:57 we're living in a strange time in this earth's history 09:00 We're living in a time just like the time of Sodom and Gomorrah 09:03 And much, much infertility is being caused by 09:07 sexually transmitted diseases that may have transpired 09:10 15, 20, 30 years ago! 09:12 Maybe not 30 years ago, but a long time ago 09:15 which has so damaged the apparatus, 09:17 that conception is impossible. 09:19 And so, it's extremely important to live pure in these days... 09:24 if you want to have a normal and productive life. 09:27 Does that sound like good advice, Dr. Thrash? 09:29 Yes, that's very good advice, and I, of course, 09:32 agree with that fully! 09:33 I got from the internet, on male infertility, 09:37 some things that I thought were worthy of taking note of. 09:42 One is that in 30% of infertile couples, 09:46 the husband, alone, is involved, 09:51 and in another 20%, the husband is partly to blame 09:55 and the wife is partly at fault with that... 09:58 But it's in those cases that a man can be greatly helped. 10:03 And, of course, to make a test for a man to test his 10:10 fertility... very simple, just a laboratory test 10:13 and a count of spermatozoa, and an understanding of 10:19 what percentage of those spermatozoa are in good health 10:23 and are nicely motile... 10:25 that can be very helpful to one to know. 10:28 And then about 20 to 250 million spermatozoa per cc 10:34 that's the expected count 10:36 And if it falls below that, then of course, 10:40 the man may have a serious problem that 10:43 can be dealt with... There may be something 10:47 that's unique to him, that with a very small 10:51 amount of treatment, he can come out of 10:54 that with no problem. 10:55 No more than 60% of the spermatozoa may be active 11:01 and still the man can be fertile. 11:04 But if more than 40% of the spermatozoa are inactive, 11:10 then he may not be fertile. 11:12 In addition to the excessive heat of clothing, 11:16 excessive heat of very hot baths taken daily 11:20 over a prolonged period of time... 11:22 that can also be a cause of infertility. 11:26 With the testes not descended fully into the scrotum 11:31 that can also be another cause of male infertility. 11:35 Or, varicoceles... that's a condition that can be 11:40 readily corrected by a urologist. 11:43 And then, poor nutrition, other disease like diabetes, 11:48 hardening of the arteries, illnesses of those kinds can 11:53 certainly be a problem with causing infertility. 11:57 About 50% of the causes of infertility in men can be 12:02 successfully treated. 12:04 It may be that high in women, but it's more difficult 12:07 to make a full assessment in women, than it is in men. 12:12 Now, I would like for Dr. Miller to talk with you 12:15 some about infantile colic. 12:19 This is a disorder in children, in babies 12:23 that usually is self-limited... that is before the age of 1 year 12:28 usually it's going to go away, but what can you tell us about 12:32 infantile colic... a very distressing problem. 12:36 It is very distressing probably to the point where some 12:38 parents wish they'd been infertile because it can REALLY 12:40 drive you to distraction to have a child with that. 12:43 Basically, this is a very serious problem for a child. 12:46 Excess gas passing up and down through the tract; 12:50 the child will sit there and have bloating... 12:52 They'll sometimes arch their backs, 12:54 or they'll sit there and draw their legs up. 12:56 They'll just cry incessantly and it can be very 12:59 disturbing for the whole family. 13:01 And, I suspect some of you have spent your long nights 13:05 walking the floor, patting the baby and bouncing 13:08 up and down... and so strange that the bouncing 13:09 them up and down seems to do some good, 13:12 and we'll talk about a good way to do that naturally 13:14 that Dr. Thrash told me about some years ago... 13:16 But what causes it in the first place? 13:19 They find that children who are born in countries 13:23 where there are not so many drugs used, 13:25 especially drugs that are used in labor and in delivery 13:29 they have less infantile colic. 13:32 There's something about the medication, 13:34 because if you're doing it during labor and delivery, 13:38 that is going to pass through to the child 13:40 and something is in that child that 13:42 that child's body is going to have to deal with, 13:44 and often, it deals with it in 13:46 a manifestation of a thing like colic. 13:48 It could also be the child's diet. 13:50 Now, we would recommend to everyone, 13:54 as far as humanly possible, that that child be breastfed. 13:58 Breastfeeding the child is the best way to avoid 14:01 many, many of the problems... It strengthens the 14:03 child's immune system for the rest of their life. 14:06 They have shown studies that they have higher IQs 14:08 But just for the fact that they're getting good milk 14:11 but only if the mother's diet is a diet that's going to 14:16 promote her producing good milk. 14:18 The mother cannot be eating things that going to 14:21 pass through her body, into the milk, and into the baby 14:24 that's going to cause a problem. 14:25 And so, let's say the mother is breastfeeding, 14:28 and still the child has lots of colic... Look at the diet! 14:32 Onions in the diet, broccoli, brussel sprouts, cabbages... 14:37 all of these things produce lots of gas when it's passed through 14:41 the milk into the baby, and these things could be 14:43 causing the colic in the child. 14:46 And so, mother, watch the diet. 14:49 Get a very low gas-forming diet, 14:51 and that's the best diet for your child. 14:53 If you have not breastfed, or are not breastfeeding, 14:57 and you're on some type of formula... 14:58 Almost all infant formulas have some type of 15:01 dairy products, and dairy products being 15:03 the #1 food allergen... that could be your problem. 15:05 Trouble is... on the other side of the coin, 15:07 SOY can be an exacerbator of the colic, 15:11 and so soy/dairy, both of these things and almost 15:14 I don't know that there's any baby formulas 15:17 without one of those two things... 15:19 But try one or the other. 15:21 The best thing to do is go away from the dairy 15:23 into a soy-based product. 15:26 If the child has colic, a couple of other things you can do. 15:30 You can make some catnip tea. 15:33 Just some nice, warm catnip tea, put it in a bottle, 15:35 and have the child take some warm catnip tea. 15:39 If the child is not taking it, or you don't think 15:41 they're getting enough, you could also do, 15:43 very gently and very carefully, a catnip tea enema, 15:47 which will also cause some of that to be absorbed 15:50 through the intestinal tract, and that can do 15:52 some good for the child. 15:53 You can also take some charcoal, put it in water, 15:56 stir it up, let it settle until you have just a 16:00 darkened water, and give that to the child, 16:04 in minor amounts... small amounts, they won't take a 16:06 whole lot... but some of that into the body will also 16:09 help to take up some of the gas, and could lessen the colic. 16:13 You could also put warm compresses over the abdomen 16:17 This could be quite good to eliminate the colic events. 16:21 The one that Dr. Thrash recommended some years ago 16:24 when it's something that, you know if you have a child 16:26 in the home, and you have a washing machine, 16:28 you're always going to be doing laundry. 16:29 And so what you do is, you take a child's seat, 16:33 a car seat, or a little bassinette, 16:35 and fix-it to the top of the washing machine 16:37 so it can't jiggle off... You will stay right there 16:40 in the room with her, and do a load of laundry. 16:43 Don't put Clorox in because you don't want her or him 16:46 breathing the Clorox fumes. 16:49 But just do a nice load of laundry, and just that jiggling 16:53 as the machine works back and forth, the agitator, 16:56 the spin cycle, that jiggling will often take away 17:01 the sensation... It will help the child get over that. 17:04 I know a friend of mine, when I lived in Key West, Florida, 17:07 she would always, when the child had colic, 17:09 put the child in a car seat, strap him into the car 17:12 and go for a drive. 17:13 Just that movement, that's why we walk the child 17:15 at 3 o'clock in the morning, patting them... 17:18 that movement itself... will help move the gas 17:20 and will lessen the colic events. 17:22 And so, some simple things you can do that are 17:25 no cost, and very easy to do for yourself and your child 17:30 They may not remember to thank you when they're 20, 17:32 but they will certainly thank you by being quiet, 17:35 and letting all 3 of you have a good night's rest. 17:38 And I think that's what we need to do. 17:40 Yes, very good tips on how to relieve the colic, 17:45 and have everybody get a good night of sleep. 17:47 It's often the mother who needs the help... more almost, 17:51 than the baby because the mother can be 17:54 just about fit-to-be-tied by the end of the day 17:56 ...so she needs a break from hearing the baby cry all day. 17:59 So, you can be a good medical missionary by just 18:02 staying with the baby and let the mother get out of the house 18:05 for a little while. 18:07 For a number of years, I've had a very LARGE garden. 18:10 I've enjoyed that garden a lot. 18:13 I generally plant the entire garden with something... 18:17 not always something that's harvestable. 18:19 But I enjoy planting flowers in my garden, 18:24 in my vegetable garden, and I enjoy planting a wide 18:27 variety of different kinds of vegetables and creeping 18:32 things that come to fruition sometime during the summer. 18:37 I'd like for Dr. Don Miller to tell you some of those 18:41 things that are benefits from an agricultural program 18:46 in your own home. 18:47 Dr. Miller, do you have a garden yourself? 18:49 Well... no. 18:53 My problem with gardens is that... 18:56 and I've had them! I LOVE gardening! 18:57 It's one of my favorite things to do. 18:59 And I'll plant my nice garden, and you get it all hoed up, 19:02 and you get everything planted, 19:03 and things start going up, and then I go to India... 19:05 or I go to Africa, or I go to Russia 19:07 And I come back, and I've got pigweed, 19:09 and I've got all kinds of strange things growing 19:11 in my garden, so I pretty much ... I go up to her garden! 19:15 Whenever I come home, she says, "You can take ANYTHING you want, 19:18 because she DOES have a huge garden! 19:20 And she has a high fence so the deer can't get it, 19:22 and she will have lots of stuff in her garden. 19:26 But when I can, I do plant a garden. 19:29 Years ago, we had a visiting doctor lecturing at 19:31 Uchee Pines, a very well-known physician, 19:34 and he was talking about foods and things like this 19:37 ...And someone raised their hand and said, 19:39 "Well, should we eat all organic food?" 19:41 And he said something that I've never forgotten... 19:44 He said, "Well you know, Americans consume 80% more 19:47 organic food than they produce. " 19:50 And it took us a minute to figure out what he just said. 19:53 But basically what he said was... 19:54 "Just because it says so, it doesn't mean it IS so. " 19:56 And so the best way to guarantee that you have organic food 20:00 is you grow it yourself. 20:01 And you know what it is, what you planted, when you planted it 20:06 You know what you fertilized it with. 20:07 You know IF you sprayed it, or if you did not spray it. 20:10 You know every SINGLE thing about that garden 20:12 because that garden is YOUR garden, and you're growing it. 20:15 I am one who tends to go away from things like hybrids 20:22 and, of course, genetically modified foods. 20:24 And you can guarantee that you don't have them, 20:26 if you're doing the gardening yourself. 20:28 And there's something else about the joy of being 20:31 out into the garden in the early morning hours 20:33 and just working in the dirt. 20:35 I think there's something transferred. 20:36 As a matter of fact, when I've got a good garden going, 20:39 I like to work in my bare feet. 20:40 There's something about the soil in contact with 20:44 the feet that just sort of energizes me. 20:47 There's also other good benefits. 20:49 ...As you're doing your gardening, 20:50 you know, you got to bend down, you got to stand up, 20:52 you got to bend down, and stand up. 20:53 Well that's called exercise. 20:54 It's called stretching. 20:56 We find that people who are really into gardening, 21:00 get plenty of exercise, they get plenty of stretching, 21:03 and plenty of aerobic exercise. 21:04 Have you ever gone up about 50 feet of corn rows 21:09 trying to hoe them out, hoe all the weeds, 21:11 you're getting some good aerobic exercise. 21:13 So that's one of the other benefits, it's just getting 21:15 out there and getting that exercise. 21:18 You got the fresh air, you've got the sunshine. 21:20 You've got that contact with nature which is so 21:23 vitally important when you're out there 21:26 in your particular gardens. 21:27 And, one of my favorite benefits is you can eat things fresh. 21:32 I mean, we're talking about really fresh! 21:35 And we don't realize how important it is to eat things 21:37 fresh... as soon as a plant is plucked from... 21:41 or a fruit, or a vegetable is plucked from its 21:43 plant, it starts to degrade in certain ways. 21:46 But if you can go out there in your garden, pluck your 21:49 fruit, or your vegetable, go back into the house and eat it 21:52 right then, you're getting benefits that you will get 21:55 no other way from your food, than doing it exactly that way. 21:58 So that's one of the other very nice benefits 22:01 of going out there in your garden. 22:03 And gardening is something that you can do year round. 22:07 I like to grow sprouts in the house. 22:09 I like to make some type of little 22:11 hot frames outside my house. 22:13 I just use PVC, and bend it over against my house 22:17 and plant my plants in there. 22:18 I have some black plastic that will absorb the sun's rays. 22:21 It's a little bit easier when you live in a state like Alabama 22:25 You couldn't do that as much up north, 22:27 but up north, you can plant things that grow 22:29 UNDER the ground, like your carrots... 22:30 And then, what you do is, you heavily mulch over there. 22:33 And you can go out there in the middle of the winter, 22:36 move your mulch away, and pull up fresh carrots. 22:39 And so, I'd recommend you do it that way... 22:40 is have something growing fresh year round. 22:43 You've got the benefits of the fresh food, 22:45 you've got the benefits of the exercise, 22:48 you've got the benefits of knowing that you've 22:49 done something good. 22:50 And if you do it right, now this is, I guess this is sort of a 22:54 if you REALLY do it right... 22:56 Normally, it costs more for your food if you garden 22:59 than if you buy it at the store. 23:00 That's only because we don't know what we're doing. 23:02 But if you really get into gardening, 23:04 you're going to save a lot of money too. 23:06 You save money, you save your health, 23:09 and you get ALL the benefits that God has placed 23:11 into His soil and into His good foods. 23:14 And so, that's what I'd recommend you do, Dr. Thrash. 23:16 Yes, and I like to do just as you said, 23:19 when I come home from the office, I stop by the garden 23:22 pick some fresh things, and go right in the house 23:25 and prepare those for lunch, and often in just a matter of 23:28 minutes I can have lunch on the table with things that 23:31 came FRESH from the garden 23:33 And close on the heels of gardening... 23:37 is that of housekeeping. 23:39 I'd like to talk about some of the benefits of good 23:42 housekeeping. 23:43 When a woman, or a man is good at housekeeping, 23:47 the house can be orderly all the time, or almost so. 23:53 When a house is neat, even if you haven't had time to 23:59 dust, or to mop, or vacuum... 24:01 If the house is neat, it will look clean even if those 24:05 other things are not done... which might make you 24:09 label it as "not clean" 24:11 But being NEAT, everything looks good. 24:15 And so I recommend that if you're the kind of person 24:18 who allows clutter just to build up, that there be times 24:22 when you de-clutter your house. 24:24 Just go around, get everything, and I have an apron 24:28 like the apron that carpenters wear, 24:30 that I put things in various pockets. 24:33 This pocket is to go to the bedroom, 24:35 and this pocket is to go to the bathroom, 24:37 and this pocket is to go to the kitchen! 24:38 So wherever I find something that's going to go to 24:41 one of these places, I simply put it in that pocket 24:44 ...then when I'm in that room, I put it in its proper place. 24:48 And often, within a matter of minutes, I can have my 24:52 whole house all freshly tidied up and looking nice. 24:56 There's nothing like the joy of going to bed in a very neat home 25:02 You can make your house a little bit of heaven. 25:06 There should always be sunshine in your home. 25:10 That sunshine of your presence there. 25:12 Now, another benefit of a tidy and orderly and clean home, 25:18 is that it reduces allergies. 25:20 People who have allergies, if the drapes and the curtains 25:27 are dusty, and the carpet has not been vacuumed 25:31 in a month or 2, they're going to have a lot more allergies 25:35 than the person who does not have that kind of environment. 25:39 So, there are a number of benefits besides the 25:43 satisfaction of having a neat and orderly home... 25:46 that can give you good health. 25:50 Now, there are some other health issues that Dr. Don Miller 25:55 will talk with you about. 25:57 I know that Dr. Miller had a bad cough not very long ago, 26:01 so maybe he'll talk with us about that now. 26:04 I thought I was going to die. 26:05 I hate having coughs. 26:07 I did have a very severe cough, 26:09 and there are some things you can do for coughs. 26:11 There are some severe coughs, and there are just some 26:13 normal coughs. 26:14 I would say the #1 cough, and the #1 reason for the cough 26:19 is dehydration, and the best cough medicine is 26:21 just drink some water. 26:22 If you've ever been there, in a service, maybe a church service, 26:27 or a speech, and someone is up there talking... 26:29 pretty soon they start coughing and... cough, cough 26:31 it's one of these things, a little dry cough. 26:33 Immediately, someone goes running out and comes back in 26:36 and sets a glass of water up there... 26:38 And immediately they take a sip, 26:39 and they're perfectly fine for a while. 26:41 So the best thing to do, first of all for a cough, 26:43 is to drink some water. 26:45 There are other things you can do. 26:46 There are some very nice cough medicines you can make. 26:49 Take a lemon, juice a lemon, add some honey to the lemon, 26:54 add a little bit of eucalyptus oil to that... 26:56 And then take small amounts of this... 26:58 It's very soothing to the throat. 27:00 Basically, a cough is a reflex action telling 27:03 the body, "There's something down here, let's get rid of it " 27:06 As we drink our water, we hydrate the lungs, 27:09 allow the mucus to be a little bit less viscous 27:12 so things can move out much better off. 27:15 You can also make sort of a poultice of cayenne pepper. 27:19 Take a quart of water and boil it, add 1/2 teaspoon of cayenne 27:22 pepper, and then dip a cloth in there, wring it out, 27:26 when it's able to be touched, wrap that around the throat. 27:30 That is very nice to help with the cough. 27:34 There are other things you can do... 27:35 cough drops... I like certain ones that are 27:38 nice, but make your own, drink your water 27:41 and you won't have so many problems with the coughs. 27:44 Very good... 27:45 And I hope the next time you have a cough, 27:47 that some of these remedies will help you. 27:49 I just love talking about remedies because people 27:52 feel better when they use a good remedy! |
