meaning that You have for us personally 00:00:39.00\00:00:42.29 in what we will read today. 00:00:42.30\00:00:44.07 We love You so much and thank you 00:00:44.08\00:00:45.38 for loving us, amen. 00:00:45.39\00:00:48.45 Reading in the Book of Isaiah Chapter 15, verse 1, 00:00:48.46\00:00:52.52 this is the King James Version. 00:00:52.53\00:00:55.13 "The burden of Moab. 00:00:55.14\00:00:57.78 Because in the night Ar of Moab is laid waste, 00:00:57.79\00:01:01.89 and brought to silence, 00:01:01.90\00:01:03.91 because in the night Kir of Moab is laid waste, 00:01:03.92\00:01:07.45 and brought to silence, He is gone up in Bajith, 00:01:07.46\00:01:10.97 and to Dibon, the high places, to weep, 00:01:10.98\00:01:14.31 Moab shall howl over Nebo, and over Medeba, 00:01:14.32\00:01:18.26 on all their heads shall be baldness, 00:01:18.27\00:01:20.21 and every beard cut off. 00:01:20.22\00:01:22.72 In their streets they shall gird themselves 00:01:22.73\00:01:24.89 with sackcloth, on the tops of their houses, 00:01:24.90\00:01:28.40 and in their streets, every one shall howl, 00:01:28.41\00:01:30.70 weeping abundantly. 00:01:30.71\00:01:32.59 And Heshbon shall cry, and Elealeh, 00:01:32.60\00:01:35.61 their voice shall be heard even unto Jahaz, 00:01:35.62\00:01:37.62 therefore the armed soldiers of Moab shall cry out, 00:01:37.63\00:01:41.41 his life shall be grievous unto him. 00:01:41.42\00:01:44.10 My heart shall cry out for Moab, 00:01:44.11\00:01:46.32 his fugitives shall flee unto Zoar, 00:01:46.33\00:01:49.41 an heifer of three years old, 00:01:49.42\00:01:51.69 for by the mounting up of Luhith 00:01:51.70\00:01:53.61 with weeping shall they go it up, 00:01:53.62\00:01:57.05 for in the way of Horonaim 00:01:57.06\00:01:59.55 they shall raise up a cry of destruction. 00:01:59.56\00:02:02.69 For the waters of Nimrim shall be desolate, 00:02:02.70\00:02:05.60 for the hay is withered away, 00:02:05.61\00:02:06.76 the grass faileth, there is no green thing. 00:02:06.77\00:02:09.94 Therefore the abundance they have gotten, 00:02:09.95\00:02:12.47 and that which they have laid up, 00:02:12.48\00:02:14.12 shall they carry away to the brook of the willows. 00:02:14.13\00:02:17.32 For the cry is gone round about the borders of Moab, 00:02:17.33\00:02:20.14 the howling thereof unto Eglaim, 00:02:20.15\00:02:23.19 and the howling thereof unto Beerelim. 00:02:23.20\00:02:26.03 For the waters of Dimon shall be full of blood, 00:02:26.04\00:02:28.86 for I will bring more upon Dimon, 00:02:28.87\00:02:31.37 lions upon him that escapeth of Moab, 00:02:31.38\00:02:34.19 and upon the remnant of the land." 00:02:34.20\00:02:36.96 We're continuing with Isaiah Chapter 16, 00:02:36.97\00:02:39.75 this is the King James Version. 00:02:39.76\00:02:43.04 "Send ye the lamb to the ruler of the land 00:02:43.05\00:02:45.75 from Sela to the wilderness, 00:02:45.76\00:02:47.48 unto the mount of the daughter of Zion. 00:02:47.49\00:02:50.27 For it shall be, that, as a wandering bird 00:02:50.28\00:02:53.15 cast out of the nest, 00:02:53.16\00:02:54.65 so the daughters of Moab 00:02:54.66\00:02:56.09 shall be at the fords of Arnon. 00:02:56.10\00:02:59.07 Take counsel, execute judgment, 00:02:59.08\00:03:01.91 make thy shadow as the night in the midst of the noonday, 00:03:01.92\00:03:05.66 hide the outcasts, bewray not him that wandereth. 00:03:05.67\00:03:10.59 Let mine outcasts dwell with thee, Moab, 00:03:10.60\00:03:14.12 be thou a covert to them from the face of the spoiler, 00:03:14.13\00:03:18.56 for the extortioner is at an end, 00:03:18.57\00:03:21.21 the spoiler ceaseth, 00:03:21.22\00:03:23.02 the oppressors are consumed out of the land. 00:03:23.03\00:03:27.63 And in mercy shall the throne be established, 00:03:27.64\00:03:29.92 and he shall sit upon it in truth 00:03:29.93\00:03:32.23 in the tabernacle of David, judging, 00:03:32.24\00:03:34.42 and seeking judgment, and hasting righteousness. 00:03:34.43\00:03:38.68 We have heard of the pride of Moab, 00:03:38.69\00:03:41.19 he is very proud, even of his haughtiness, 00:03:41.20\00:03:44.34 and his pride, and his wrath, 00:03:44.35\00:03:46.91 but his lies shall not be so. 00:03:46.92\00:03:50.11 Therefore shall Moab howl for Moab, 00:03:50.12\00:03:52.74 every one shall howl, 00:03:52.75\00:03:54.65 for the foundations of Kirhareseth shall ye mourn, 00:03:54.66\00:03:58.43 surely they are stricken. 00:03:58.44\00:04:00.54 For the fields of Heshbon languish, 00:04:00.55\00:04:02.30 and the vine of Sibmah, 00:04:02.31\00:04:04.60 the lords of the heathen have broken down 00:04:04.61\00:04:06.74 the principal plants thereof, 00:04:06.75\00:04:08.68 they are come even unto Jazer, 00:04:08.69\00:04:10.42 they wandered through the wilderness, 00:04:10.43\00:04:12.18 her branches are stretched out, 00:04:12.19\00:04:14.07 they are gone over the sea. 00:04:14.08\00:04:16.42 Therefore I will bewail with the weeping of Jazer 00:04:16.43\00:04:19.84 the vine of Sibmah, 00:04:19.85\00:04:21.68 I will water thee with my tears, 00:04:21.69\00:04:23.43 O Heshbon, and Elealeh, 00:04:23.44\00:04:25.73 for the shouting for thy summer fruits 00:04:25.74\00:04:27.60 and for thy harvest is fallen. 00:04:27.61\00:04:30.21 And gladness is taken away, 00:04:30.22\00:04:32.16 and joy out of the plentiful field, 00:04:32.17\00:04:35.28 and in the vineyards there shall be no singing, 00:04:35.29\00:04:37.32 neither shall there be shouting, 00:04:37.33\00:04:39.39 the treaders shall tread out no wine in their presses, 00:04:39.40\00:04:43.49 I have made their vintage shouting to cease. 00:04:43.50\00:04:46.91 Wherefore my bowels shall sound like an harp for Moab, 00:04:46.92\00:04:50.07 and mine inward parts for Kirharesh. 00:04:50.08\00:04:54.15 And it shall come to pass, 00:04:54.16\00:04:55.29 when it is seen that Moab is weary on the high place, 00:04:55.30\00:04:59.02 that he shall come to his sanctuary to pray, 00:04:59.03\00:05:01.99 but he shall not prevail. 00:05:02.00\00:05:04.24 This is the word that the Lord hath spoken 00:05:04.25\00:05:06.41 concerning Moab since that time. 00:05:06.42\00:05:09.77 But now the Lord hath spoken, 00:05:09.78\00:05:10.99 saying, within three years, 00:05:11.00\00:05:12.92 as the years of an hireling, 00:05:12.93\00:05:14.26 and the glory of Moab shall be contemned, 00:05:14.27\00:05:16.70 with all that great multitude, 00:05:16.71\00:05:19.00 and the remnant shall be very small and feeble." 00:05:19.01\00:05:23.64 Continuing with Isaiah Chapter 17. 00:05:23.65\00:05:27.27 "The burden of Damascus. 00:05:27.28\00:05:30.03 Behold, Damascus is taken away from being a city, 00:05:30.04\00:05:33.28 and it shall be a ruinous heap. 00:05:33.29\00:05:36.93 The cities of Aroer are forsaken, 00:05:36.94\00:05:39.63 they shall be for flocks, which shall lie down, 00:05:39.64\00:05:41.50 and none shall make them afraid. 00:05:41.51\00:05:43.90 The fortress also shall cease from Ephraim, 00:05:43.91\00:05:46.23 and the kingdom from Damascus, 00:05:46.24\00:05:47.87 and the remnant of Syria, 00:05:47.88\00:05:49.76 they shall be as the glory of the children of Israel, 00:05:49.77\00:05:52.07 saith the Lord of hosts. 00:05:52.08\00:05:54.15 And in that day it shall come to pass, 00:05:54.16\00:05:55.90 that the glory of Jacob shall be made thin, 00:05:55.91\00:05:58.69 and the fatness of his flesh shall wax lean. 00:05:58.70\00:06:03.30 And it shall be as when the harvestman 00:06:03.31\00:06:05.56 gathereth the corn, 00:06:05.57\00:06:06.83 and reapeth the ears with his arm, 00:06:06.84\00:06:10.04 and it shall be as he that gathereth ears 00:06:10.05\00:06:12.85 in the valley of Rephaim. 00:06:12.86\00:06:14.97 Yet gleaning grapes shall be left in it, 00:06:14.98\00:06:18.25 as the shaking of an olive tree, 00:06:18.26\00:06:20.22 two or three berries 00:06:20.23\00:06:21.74 in the top of the uppermost bough, 00:06:21.75\00:06:23.44 four or five in the outmost fruitful branches thereof, 00:06:23.45\00:06:26.65 saith the Lord God of Israel. 00:06:26.66\00:06:29.03 At that day shall a man look to his Maker, 00:06:29.04\00:06:31.65 and his eyes shall have respect 00:06:31.66\00:06:33.74 to the Holy One of Israel. 00:06:33.75\00:06:35.67 And he shall not look to the altars, 00:06:35.68\00:06:38.09 the work of his hands, 00:06:38.10\00:06:40.26 neither shall respect that which his fingers have made, 00:06:40.27\00:06:43.28 either the groves, or the images. 00:06:43.29\00:06:46.33 In that day shall his strong cities 00:06:46.34\00:06:48.86 be as a forsaken bough, and an uppermost branch, 00:06:48.87\00:06:52.97 which they left because of the children of Israel, 00:06:52.98\00:06:55.82 and there shall be desolation. 00:06:55.83\00:06:58.25 Because thou hast forgotten the God of thy salvation, 00:06:58.26\00:07:01.87 and hast not been mindful of the rock of thy strength, 00:07:01.88\00:07:05.90 therefore shalt thou plant pleasant plants, 00:07:05.91\00:07:08.80 and shalt set it with strange slips. 00:07:08.81\00:07:12.69 In the day shalt thou make thy plant to grow, 00:07:12.70\00:07:14.80 and in the morning shalt thou make thy seed to flourish, 00:07:14.81\00:07:17.96 but the harvest shall be a heap in the day of grief 00:07:17.97\00:07:22.15 and of desperate sorrow. 00:07:22.16\00:07:24.53 Woe to the multitude of many people, 00:07:24.54\00:07:26.85 which make a noise like the noise of the seas, 00:07:26.86\00:07:29.92 and to the rushing of nations, 00:07:29.93\00:07:31.82 that make a rushing like the rushing of mighty waters! 00:07:31.83\00:07:35.28 The nations shall rush like the rushing of many waters, 00:07:35.29\00:07:38.01 but God shall rebuke them, and they shall flee far off, 00:07:38.02\00:07:41.28 and shall be chased as the chaff of the mountains 00:07:41.29\00:07:44.13 before the wind, and like a rolling thing 00:07:44.14\00:07:46.69 before the whirlwind. 00:07:46.70\00:07:48.36 And behold at eveningtide trouble, 00:07:48.37\00:07:51.57 and before the morning he is not. 00:07:51.58\00:07:54.64 This is the portion of them that spoil us, 00:07:54.65\00:07:58.08 and the lot of them that rob us." 00:07:58.09\00:08:01.54 Continuing to read from the Book of Isaiah, 00:08:01.55\00:08:03.94 Chapter 18, and this is the King James Version. 00:08:03.95\00:08:08.30 "Woe to the land shadowing with wings, 00:08:08.31\00:08:11.12 which is beyond the rivers of Ethiopia, 00:08:11.13\00:08:14.08 that sendeth ambassadors by the sea, 00:08:14.09\00:08:16.73 even in vessels of bulrushes upon the waters, saying, 00:08:16.74\00:08:20.02 'Go, ye swift messengers, 00:08:20.03\00:08:21.61 to a nation scattered and peeled, 00:08:21.62\00:08:24.14 to a people terrible from their beginning hitherto, 00:08:24.15\00:08:27.65 a nation meted out and trodden down, 00:08:27.66\00:08:29.81 whose land the rivers have spoiled!' 00:08:29.82\00:08:33.14 All ye inhabitants of the world, 00:08:33.15\00:08:35.05 and dwellers on the earth, see ye, 00:08:35.06\00:08:38.07 when he lifteth up an ensign on the mountains, 00:08:38.08\00:08:40.53 and when he bloweth a trumpet, hear ye. 00:08:40.54\00:08:43.32 For so the Lord said unto me, I will take my rest, 00:08:43.33\00:08:47.67 and I will consider in my dwelling place 00:08:47.68\00:08:49.77 like a clear heat upon herbs, 00:08:49.78\00:08:52.18 and like a cloud of dew in the heat of harvest. 00:08:52.19\00:08:55.74 For afore the harvest, when the bud is perfect, 00:08:55.75\00:08:58.95 and the sour grape is ripening in the flower, 00:08:58.96\00:09:02.12 he shall both cut off the sprigs 00:09:02.13\00:09:03.99 with pruning hooks, and take away 00:09:04.00\00:09:06.49 and cut down the branches. 00:09:06.50\00:09:09.18 They shall be left together 00:09:09.19\00:09:10.87 unto the fowls of the mountains, 00:09:10.88\00:09:12.53 and to the beasts of the earth, 00:09:12.54\00:09:13.63 and the fowls shall summer upon them, 00:09:13.64\00:09:16.55 and all the beasts of the earth 00:09:16.56\00:09:17.88 shall winter upon them. 00:09:17.89\00:09:20.53 In that time shall the present 00:09:20.54\00:09:22.29 be brought unto the Lord of hosts 00:09:22.30\00:09:24.68 of a people scattered and peeled, 00:09:24.69\00:09:27.67 and from a people terrible 00:09:27.68\00:09:29.57 from their beginning hitherto, 00:09:29.58\00:09:31.79 a nation meted out and trodden under foot, 00:09:31.80\00:09:35.22 whose land the rivers have spoiled, 00:09:35.23\00:09:38.04 to the place of the name of the Lord of hosts, 00:09:38.05\00:09:40.92 the mount Zion." 00:09:40.93\00:09:43.09 Continuing to read Isaiah Chapter 19, 00:09:43.10\00:09:45.28 this is the King James Version. 00:09:45.29\00:09:48.46 "The burden of Egypt. 00:09:48.47\00:09:51.08 Behold, the Lord rideth upon a swift cloud, 00:09:51.09\00:09:53.67 and shall come into Egypt, 00:09:53.68\00:09:55.24 and the idols of Egypt shall be moved at his presence, 00:09:55.25\00:09:58.86 and the heart of Egypt shall melt in the midst of it. 00:09:58.87\00:10:01.87 And I will set the Egyptians against the Egyptians, 00:10:01.88\00:10:05.05 and they shall fight every one against his brother, 00:10:05.06\00:10:07.62 and every one against his neighbour, 00:10:07.63\00:10:09.31 city against city, and kingdom against kingdom. 00:10:09.32\00:10:14.21 And the spirit of Egypt 00:10:14.22\00:10:15.19 shall fail in the midst thereof, 00:10:15.20\00:10:16.82 and I will destroy the counsel thereof, 00:10:16.83\00:10:18.86 and they shall seek to the idols, 00:10:18.87\00:10:20.97 and to the charmers, 00:10:20.98\00:10:22.04 and to them that have familiar spirits, 00:10:22.05\00:10:25.01 and to the wizards. 00:10:25.02\00:10:26.85 And the Egyptians will I give over 00:10:26.86\00:10:28.78 into the hand of a cruel Lord, 00:10:28.79\00:10:30.83 and a fierce king shall rule over them, 00:10:30.84\00:10:32.42 saith the Lord, the Lord of hosts. 00:10:32.43\00:10:35.32 And the waters shall fail from the sea, 00:10:35.33\00:10:37.29 and the river shall be wasted and dried up. 00:10:37.30\00:10:40.76 And they shall turn the rivers far away, 00:10:40.77\00:10:43.56 and the brooks of defence
