We've been reading the story of

Job, who had been living a life
that seemed particularly blessed

He was wealthy, had a wonderful
family. And then the Lord

permitted Satan to bring trials
against Job; because Job was

upright in heart. And Satan
accused God, saying, He is only

doing this because you're
blessing him. So God permitted

Satan to take away all of Job's
stuff, to destroy Job's family,

and to bring boils upon Job,
so that he was a disgrace and a

laughing stock to his
friends and those who saw him.

His friends have come to have
a dialog with him about why this

had happened to him - what had
he done wrong? What hidden sin

that he is right before God.

and forth about what purpose

a servant obedient to God.

you tell me how this happened.
