about the different sacrifices
that the children of Israel

would bring to the temple.

They would bring the
sacrifice for their sin,
00:00:28.44\00:00:31.57
and for their trespasses.

They also brought a
sacrifice of thanksgiving.

A thanksgiving
offering; the offering of peace;

the peace offering.

I was thinking about today.

In our lives we don't
bring sacrifices to the temple

anymore, but we bring our
prayers before God's throne.

So often we can bring
the prayers of our needs,

and we can bring the prayers
of our asking of forgiveness,

but in the same way that
the Israelites would bring

a sacrifice for thanksgiving,
and a sacrifice for peace,

I wanted to try in my own
life to bring more prayers for

peace in my home, my
house, my family, my church,

my world, and also
prayers of thanksgiving.
