When we were last together
we were reading the story of how

God brought the Israelites
absolutely miraculously
00:01:05.18\00:01:09.00
through the Red Sea.
They thought that they were
00:01:09.10\00:01:11.43
going to die there with the
sea in front of them and Pharaoh
00:01:11.53\00:01:13.95
and his armies behind them.
00:01:14.05\00:01:15.48
But God opened up a way
for them and they came through
00:01:15.68\00:01:17.96
on dry ground. And once
they got to the other side,
00:01:18.06\00:01:20.44
they were singing His praises
and just dancing for joy.
00:01:20.54\00:01:23.42
And then it wasn't just a few
days later they were out in the
00:01:23.62\00:01:26.11
wilderness and afraid they were
going to die for lack of water,

lack of food. And I was
reading that and I was thinking

how often in my life
that same lack of faith comes

and how I don't want
to be like the Israelites.

I want to realize that the same
God who has brought me safely
00:01:38.56\00:01:42.04
this far is going to take
me safely on to His kingdom,

His home in His own time.
And that goes for each of us.

Let's read on now about the
Israelites as they are walking

through the wilderness on
their way to the Promised Land.
