So let's take a look at it.

then came over to Daniel

end shall be the vision."

This prophecy applies
not to ancient history

but to the very end of time.

Gabriel is an
extremely important angel,

and told her that
she would have the baby

who would be Jesus Christ.

So Gabriel never
goes on minor missions,

and he came two
times in Luke Chapter 1

announcing the
birth of John the Baptist

he comes and he tells Daniel
about this 2300 day vision

the time of the end.

Now there's a parallel

Ezekiel and Daniel
lived at the same time,

both were Jewish
captives, they were in Babylon,

Daniel was in the palace,

and Ezekiel was
among the captives
00:02:55.07\00:02:58.07
outside of the palace

and the key is given
in this verse in Ezekiel

that a day represents a year,

and I will prove to
you as we go back to Daniel

that the prophecy of Daniel 8,

the 2300 day prophecy
actually represents 2300 years.

the longest time prophecy

he begins to explain
certain things in the vision,

but then when you get
to verse 27 it says that,

"Daniel fainted,"

and at the end of
the verse it says,

"he was astonished at the vision

and none understood it."

So at the end of Daniel
8, he still didn't understand

although Gabriel had told
him and the voice had told him,

had told Gabriel that he
was supposed to understand

and yet he didn't.

When you get to the end
of Daniel 8, you don't know

it was so overwhelming to him

Gabriel also comes twice.

He's very consistent

and there's a
purpose behind this.

So as we keep
reading, in verse 23,

Gabriel continues to
talk to Daniel, and he said,

"Therefore,
understand the matter

So here's the fourth time

that heaven wants Daniel

In verse 24,

right after Gabriel had
said understand the vision,

and the vision that
Daniel had previously seen

was the 2300 days/year vision
that he didn't understand.

when Gabriel comes back

vision that he's talking about

Now here, Gabriel begins
to give a 70 week prophecy,

important Hebrew word

at least it's pronounced

And Chathak literally
means to be amputated from

So a simple way to
illustrate this is,

and Gabriel comes back

for the Jewish people.

In other words, the 70

all those times are
connected to Gabriel.

So it's very clear
that the Lord wants us

to understand this prophecy,

and he again links
the word understand

with the starting
point of the period,

"Know therefore" Gabriel said,
"Nail it down and understand,

that from the going
forth of the commandment

to restore and
to build Jerusalem

unto the Messiah the prince."

time and then so much time

way we know for sure

recognized historical date

for this command to

during a decree that was issued
by the Persian king Artaxerxes.

Artaxerxes the Great which is
recorded in the Book of Ezra 7.

I used to have
a different Bible,

and in my old Bible I
would turn to Ezra Chapter 7,

"When that decree went forth,

giving the
Jewish state authority

to function again
under the reign of Persia

and in the margin of that
particular King James Bible,

it pinpoint at the date 457 BC.

So that's a, it's a
very solid historical date

that the command was issued

to restore civil
authority to the Jewish state,

Man pitched the earthly temple

that this is talking about

some kind of an earthly temple

and Hebrews points us
not to the earthly temple

but to a heavenly temple.

It's also tragic to me

that millions and
billions of sincere Catholics

may be not billions,

I think there's about a
billion Catholics in the world,

but millions of them, at
least those who are sincere,

are looking to earthly
priests to forgive their sins.

Whereas the New
Testament points us

to one great high priest
who is Jesus Christ in heaven,

so there is a heavenly temple
and there is a heavenly priest.

And that's what Hebrews

says that our minds
need to be focused upon.

the ark of his testament
and there were lightnings,

and earthquake
and a great hail."

So we know
there's a heavenly temple

and this verse says

that at some point
it would be opened,

have been closed prior to it

being opened, and it says

prophecy in the Old Testament

that could fit this

and the power of
His cleansing blood.

"Here is the
patience of the saints:

here are they that
keep the commandments of God

and the faith of Jesus."

The commandments
of God inside the ark

and the faith of Jesus Christ

who shed His blood to cleanse us

And this verse tells us that

the Day of Atonement,

the Ten Commandments.

And this tells us
what's God great purpose is

in the final hours of history,

The very end of time,

prophecy of this book,

When Jesus work as our
great high priest is over,

When He's done with that
work, He's going to come.
