think the technology is

for logistical
problems is enormous.

there is going to be a mark

He was going to exalt Israel

and everything was
gonna change for the better,

that was their view

that the Messiah was going
to be a strong military leader.

They just knew that was true.

I mean they were just convinced

that they had
certain Bible versus

in the Old
Testament that they thought

supported their case.

But it didn't really
happen quite that way

when Jesus was
born in Bethlehem.

He did not come to
conquer the Romans,

He didn't come to
exalt the nation of Israel

like the rabbis thought.

He came to do
something very different,

He came to leave a
meek, humble, lowly life.

And eventually to
die upon a cruel cross

for the sins of the world
and then to rise from the dead.

beast with seven heads,

and then this
dragon gives him his power.

Now obviously

there's not gonna be any
real literal seven-headed,

ten-horned beast that's
gonna be running around.

This is a symbol
of something else,

it's a symbol of
Antichrist, but it is a symbol,

it's not something that we
should be taking literally.

talks about a women.

She was sitting on a
scarlet colored beast

full of names of blasphemy,

heads and ten horns.

And this women was all
decked out with various jewels,

she had a golden cup in her hand

full of

"Upon her forehead

just like the beast

this one woman is a symbol

and as we think about the mark

is a symbolic beast

about their
obligations to the Lord

does not mean that.

giving his prophecy

represented the mind

and God wanted his word
to be in those two places.

Now when we get to
the book of Revelation

we find a prophecy

that one of these days,

this beast will
enforce his own mark

foreheads and into the hands

of the majority of
people around the planet earth.

And again, we know that
the beast is the symbol,

it's not a literal beast.

And if the beast
is clearly a symbol

and the mark of
the beast is his mark,

it certainly
makes logical sense that

symbolic that the mark

and that it could represent

something that the devil

places into the mind,

bombed out of eternity.

It really does
make a perfect sense.

There are many
examples in the New Testament

of mistakes that were made

by certain groups of people

who heard the
things that Jesus said

and didn't see
the spiritual meaning

underneath His words.

That one perfect
example is in John 2,

where Jesus was talking to
a group of religious leaders,

and in verse 18 answered,

"The Jew
answered and said to Him,

"What sign do you show us,
00:20:03.90\00:20:06.63
seeing that you
do these things?"

And in verse 19 Jesus
answered and said to them,

"If you destroy this temple,
00:20:10.67\00:20:12.54
and I'll rebuild
it in three days."

So that was the sign,

Jesus told them,
they asked for sign,

He said okay here's my sign.

Destroy this temple

and in three
days I'll raise it up.

Now when those particular people

heard Jesus statement,

verse 20 says,
"Then said the Jews,

Forty and six years was
this temple in building,

and wilt thou rear
it up in three days?"

They interpreted
His words about a temple

and they
interpreted them literally,

they thought he
meant the literal temple

that was in Jerusalem

that had been
built up by King Herod.

Forty-six years it
took to build that temple

but that's not what
Jesus was talking about.

They just saw the
words of Jesus literally

but verse 21 says,
00:20:54.45\00:20:56.22
"He spoke of the
temple of His body."

It was his spiritual temple

that Jesus Christ was
talking about not a literal one.

We find examples of
this over and over again

in the New Testament in John 3,

Jesus told
Nicodemus must be born again,

but he thought literally

and said how can I go
into my mothers womb and born.

But Jesus was talking
about a spiritual birth
00:21:17.07\00:21:19.07
in John 4 Jesus offered
a women the water of life

and she thought
He was talking about
00:21:22.88\00:21:24.21
literal water down in the well
00:21:24.25\00:21:25.91
but he was talking about
the spiritual water of life.

In John 6, Jesus
told a group of people,

you need to eat my
flesh and drink my blood

or you don't have eternal life

and they thought He was
talking about cannibalism

but really He was
talking about His word,

about the word of God,
the word of Jesus Christ.

His own words that they
need to take in to their hearts

the book of Revelation

warns us about a mark

that is coming from a beast

enforced into the foreheads

it just makes perfect sense

look at this prophecy

as applying to
something more than skin deep.

the Persian Gulf War

that took place 1990, 1991.

The Iraqis has invaded Kuwait

and they were getting close
to controlling a lot of oil

and this galvanized
many of the world nations

to put together a
coalition led by United States
00:22:35.42\00:22:38.65
call Operation Desert
Storm to go into Kuwait
00:22:38.69\00:22:42.29
and to liberate that country
00:22:42.32\00:22:44.56
and it's very significant

that one of the main
strategies of the allies

was decoy attacks.

Here, I've got a
report that says,

" US decoy
attacks by air attacks

and naval gunfire

the night before
Kuwait's liberation

were designed to
make the Iraqis believe

that the main
coalition ground attack

would focus on central Kuwait."

But it didn't, this was a decoy,

it was a
strategy to get the Iraqis

looking in one direction

when the bulk of the attacks

that strategy
was very effective,

of the host of darkness,
