Babylon and its fall

the message of the third angel

I've been a
Christian for about 33 years

house and I still remember,

the Three Angels' messages.

And the Holy
Spirit spoke to my heart

under deep conviction

The Bible says,

to every nation,

And, let's really
analyze this phrase,

gospel in the dictionary,

a combination of two words.

It literally means good news,

In the world today,

something that's new.

consider it to be news.

that was really news.

That wouldn't be considered news

Communism collapsed in 1991.

That wouldn't

Again in the world,

news is usually
considered to be something new.

If it's not new, it's not news.

But God's ways are
different than man's ways.

little, those little strip ones

and at the end of the cartoon,

the magazine or a newspaper

somewhere said
Christian cartoon.

There was a picture of a man

that was standing
at the crossroads,

was one road going one way
00:05:43.30\00:05:44.64
and another road
going another way,
00:05:44.67\00:05:46.01
and there was a
sign in the middle
00:05:46.04\00:05:47.71
which had two little
signs going both ways.

And one sign said
00:05:51.75\00:05:53.58
this is God's way and
the other signboard said,
00:05:53.62\00:05:56.99
this is every other way.
00:05:57.02\00:05:59.05
And the point was

that God's ways are
different than man's ways.

And we need to follow God's ways

instead of all the multiplicity

and all the
different multitudinous

and myriads and plethora

and all the
different ways of this world.

God has His own
truth and His own news

that He wants us to understand.

And so back to Revelation 14,

we have a message that is
to be given to the whole world.

It's part of the
first angel's message

and it is called
the everlasting gospel

or good news
that is to be preached

to every nation,
tribe, tongue and people.

If this is news, is
it new or is it old?

Well, the truth
is that God's news

is different
than the world's news.

God's everlasting
good news in the Bible

is a message that's
been around for a long time.

It's actually been
around for thousands of years

and it's called
everlasting good news

which points us
even to the future

which means that it will always,

for all eternity, it
will always be good news.

Now, how can it be news
if it's not new right now

or if it's been
around for a long time?

Well, the reason
is, it's very simple

The reason why God's news
is called everlasting good news

is because it is so powerful,
it is so life changing.

heard it a thousand times,

that comes from God

and I scan the news

and I watch what's going on
whether it's on the internet,

whether it's
magazines, newspapers

when I travel in
airports or flying around

from place to place, so
I often pick up U.S. News
00:08:21.53\00:08:23.73
and World Report or I watch CNN,

scan Fox News, look at ABC, CBS.

And I'm sure you know
that most of the news today
00:08:31.61\00:08:34.91
is definitely not good.

How many times have
you heard a news anchor
00:08:36.68\00:08:38.45
or a reporter say our
good news for today is
00:08:38.48\00:08:41.58
and then he will tell
you just a great story.
00:08:41.62\00:08:43.65
Most of the
time the news is bad,
00:08:43.69\00:08:45.05
it's about this or that disaster
00:08:45.09\00:08:47.36
some hurricane, some
earthquake, some tornado,
00:08:47.39\00:08:50.59
some crime, some bloody murder,
00:08:50.63\00:08:53.60
some affair that
some person in politics,
00:08:53.63\00:08:57.20
some person high
up in the military
00:08:57.23\00:08:59.33
has got involved
in something about
00:08:59.37\00:09:01.84
or you might hear something
about some new disease,
00:09:01.87\00:09:04.64
some new outbreak
about weather patterns,
00:09:04.67\00:09:07.41
just list goes on and on and on.
00:09:07.44\00:09:09.44
The news of this
world is rarely good.

It's almost always bad news.

But in the Bible,
in Revelation 14:6

there is a
message and here it is.

"I saw another angel
flying in the midst of heaven,

having the everlasting
gospel, which means good news,
00:09:29.06\00:09:35.14
to preach to them
that dwell upon the earth,

to every nation,
tribe, tongue and people.

And this message is to
be given with a loud voice.

It's called
everlasting good news.

The reason why it's everlasting
is because it never dies.

in Europe, in

China, New Zealand,

all around the world,
the islands of the sea

and it is to be
preached on the radio,

on television,
through the internet,

personally people
going door to door,

giving out literature.
00:10:47.58\00:10:49.21
There is-- There
are countless ways

that this news can be preached

and is being
preached today in this world.

And it is
represented in Revelation 14

as being
communicated by an angel.

Verse 6 says, "I
saw another angel

flying in the midst of heaven,

having the
everlasting gospel to preach

to those who

The message is represented

in the midst of heaven

live upon the earth,

the everlasting good news,

ago that God does not want me

which I preached to you,

which also you have
received and wherein you stand."

You stand on this gospel.

Somebody once said if we

he is referring to Jesus Christ.

who Jesus Christ really is.

that was born in
Bethlehem was from everlasting.

Jesus didn't
originate in Bethlehem.

He came down from heaven
and He was born as a baby.

In Philippians
2:6 the Bible says

Jesus is equal with the Father

Him and the world knew Him not."

us that Jesus Christ
