Now there are four
basic categories dealing with

The result of earthy wisdom,

Third, there is:

When this wisdom is used by
itself, it can be detrimental.

This type of wisdom is a divine
gift which cannot be gained

The same followed Paul
and us and cried, saying:

servants of the Most High God

them many days proclaiming

the word of wisdom IS NOT.

not all of God's wisdom.

gift of the word of wisdom

a word or only a small portion

it is NOT psychology.

gift of the word of wisdom

learns in a classroom

Someone's book may be

NOT mature advice or counsel,

gift is not the ability to give

mature spiritual insight.
One may be mature in the

Lord's word and have
many years of experience

dividing the word of truth

and yet never have this
supernatural spiritual gift

operate in their life. There's

the mature spiritual fruit and
the gifts of the Holy Spirit.

The fruit of the Spirit
is something one continues to

It is not just plain wisdom.

Solomon had wisdom from God

but rarely did he receive
a word of wisdom or specific

revelation for a
special situation.

God may be given the gift

a spiritually mature Christian

wisdom is not just a lucky guess

gift is not just a premonition

at a practical application.

three kings had told Elisha

didn't know what to do.

minstrel and listened

and praised the Lord. Then
a gift of the word of wisdom

was given to him, and Elisha
told them to make the valley

full of ditches. He then
explained the cause and the

effect of the word of
wisdom he had been given.

Ye will not see wind or rain
but the valley shall be filled

example was King Solomon.

In I Kings 3 Solomon was

when two women both claimed

to have a baby that was
theirs after one had smothered

the other's to
death during the night.

The Spirit of God told
Solomon to call for a sword.

He feigned or pretended
to divide the live baby
00:17:53.19\00:17:57.56
between the two women. When
one of them started to cry out

for the baby's life, Solomon
knew that he knew that he knew

that this woman was
the baby's rightful mother.

Solomon had just
prayed and asked for wisdom

from the Lord which was given

few. Paul, Paul was given a word

of knowledge from the Holy
Spirit that he was supposed to

But he did not
know when, why, or how!

The Spirit gave him a
word of wisdom one night

he was to go to Rome.
