Hello, and welcome to Heart Lift. 00:00:24.99\00:00:26.79 I'm Jill Morikone, and I'm so glad that you 00:00:26.82\00:00:29.46 have joined us today. 00:00:29.49\00:00:30.99 We're on a journey toward hope, toward healing, 00:00:31.03\00:00:34.96 toward the transformation that the Lord Jesus wants to work 00:00:35.00\00:00:39.13 in your life and in mine as women, as daughters of God. 00:00:39.17\00:00:44.21 If you're just joining us, we're in the middle 00:00:44.24\00:00:47.08 of a section on pride. 00:00:47.11\00:00:48.81 We talked about the boastful heart, the critical heart, 00:00:48.84\00:00:52.78 the jealous heart. 00:00:52.81\00:00:54.75 And no matter which heart we find ourselves saddled with, 00:00:54.78\00:00:58.79 God says, I want to bring you deliverance. 00:00:58.82\00:01:01.99 I came to set you free. 00:01:02.02\00:01:05.29 Today we're going to be discussing fearful pride. 00:01:05.33\00:01:09.80 This is totally different than the fear section we did 00:01:09.83\00:01:13.67 several programs before. 00:01:13.70\00:01:15.94 This is different than a worry. 00:01:15.97\00:01:17.84 This is fearful pride, and we'll unpackage that. 00:01:17.87\00:01:21.71 Our Scripture is Galatians 1:10. 00:01:21.74\00:01:26.72 If you have your Bible, open up and follow along. 00:01:26.75\00:01:29.75 If not, feel free to jot down that reference 00:01:29.78\00:01:33.09 and look it up later. 00:01:33.12\00:01:34.46 Galatians 1:10. For do I now persuade men, or God? 00:01:34.49\00:01:40.60 or do I seek to please men or God? If I still pleased men, 00:01:40.63\00:01:48.50 I would not be a bondservant of Christ. 00:01:48.54\00:01:53.48 Lord, in our own hearts and lives right now, 00:01:53.51\00:01:57.61 as I look into my own heart, I know there's still areas in me 00:01:57.65\00:02:02.42 that want to please man. 00:02:02.45\00:02:04.42 And so I just ask right now that You would create in me a clean 00:02:04.45\00:02:08.52 heart, that you would renew in me a right spirit. 00:02:08.56\00:02:12.43 I pray for the cleansing blood of Jesus. 00:02:12.46\00:02:15.46 I ask that for my sisters as well. 00:02:15.50\00:02:18.53 And right now as we discuss this topic of fearful pride, 00:02:18.57\00:02:22.54 I pray that You would come, and that You would speak 00:02:22.57\00:02:26.51 to our hearts and lives. 00:02:26.54\00:02:28.14 And we thank You in the precious and the holy 00:02:28.18\00:02:31.08 name of Jesus, Amen. 00:02:31.11\00:02:33.65 She was a young Middle Eastern girl; a beautiful girl 00:02:33.68\00:02:39.49 just coming into womanhood. 00:02:39.52\00:02:42.32 She lived at the palace because her mother had married one 00:02:42.36\00:02:47.66 of the local kings. 00:02:47.70\00:02:49.66 Herod they called him. 00:02:49.70\00:02:51.60 Now this woman, her mother, Herodias, 00:02:51.63\00:02:55.90 she was married to Herod. 00:02:55.94\00:02:59.41 And she did not like a certain person who began 00:02:59.44\00:03:03.88 preaching there in Galilee. 00:03:03.91\00:03:05.98 His name, you probably guessed it, was John the Baptist. 00:03:06.01\00:03:10.59 Perhaps it was the strange way that this prophet dressed. 00:03:10.62\00:03:15.12 Maybe it was the weird food that he ate. 00:03:15.16\00:03:19.13 Whatever it was, Herodias didn't like him. 00:03:19.19\00:03:23.10 She nagged, she talked to, she bugged her husband Herod 00:03:23.13\00:03:29.20 until he had the prophet of God imprisoned. 00:03:29.24\00:03:34.28 Did Herod think John the Baptist was really a bad person? 00:03:34.34\00:03:40.12 Did he think he was worthy of being imprisoned? no. 00:03:40.15\00:03:44.32 But he gave into the pressure from his wife. 00:03:44.35\00:03:47.26 Some time later Herod held a banquet for all the big 00:03:47.29\00:03:52.56 names around Galilee. 00:03:52.59\00:03:54.43 I would imagine Captains, and maybe Generals, maybe there were 00:03:54.46\00:03:59.50 some politicians there, and they all came for a time of, 00:03:59.53\00:04:03.20 feasting and frolic. 00:04:03.24\00:04:04.84 In the midst of their drunken feast, because the wine was 00:04:04.87\00:04:09.58 flowing pretty freely, in the midst of that feast, 00:04:09.61\00:04:13.05 they invited Herod's wife Herodias, her daughter, 00:04:13.08\00:04:18.25 to come out and dance. 00:04:18.29\00:04:20.36 She was that beautiful, young, Middle Eastern girl. 00:04:20.39\00:04:24.09 Her name was Salome. 00:04:24.13\00:04:25.56 She came out to dance, and she danced so beautifully, 00:04:25.59\00:04:29.76 and held those drunken men so captive that Herod was moved 00:04:29.80\00:04:34.57 in his heart to offer her a reward; whatever she wanted. 00:04:34.60\00:04:39.57 She ran back to Mamma and said, What should I ask for? 00:04:39.64\00:04:44.58 We hear the terrible request. 00:04:44.61\00:04:48.35 Herodias said, Say this, my daughter, Give me the head 00:04:48.38\00:04:54.69 of John the Baptist on a platter. 00:04:54.72\00:04:58.29 Now what type a woman is that? 00:04:58.33\00:05:00.50 That's just incredible to me. 00:05:00.53\00:05:01.96 Give me the head of John the Baptist on a platter. 00:05:02.00\00:05:05.87 Herod was horrified. 00:05:05.90\00:05:09.04 I just imagine anxiously his eyes darting from one 00:05:09.07\00:05:13.24 drunken face to another. 00:05:13.27\00:05:14.71 I think some fully grasped the import of the message, 00:05:14.74\00:05:18.78 but they merely shrugged their shoulders 00:05:18.81\00:05:20.82 and lifted another glass. 00:05:20.85\00:05:22.48 Others maybe laughed, or told jokes. 00:05:22.52\00:05:25.35 Still others, they probably never liked the Baptist, 00:05:25.39\00:05:29.16 so his death might be even a relief to them. 00:05:29.19\00:05:33.83 We pick up this story in Mark 6, Mark 6:26. 00:05:33.86\00:05:43.34 The Bible says, And the king... That's Herod. 00:05:43.37\00:05:46.51 ...was exceedingly sorry; yet because of the oath... 00:05:46.54\00:05:50.51 Because of what he had promised to his step daughter Salome. 00:05:50.55\00:05:53.52 ...and because of those who sat with him, 00:05:53.55\00:05:58.15 he did not want to refuse her. 00:05:58.22\00:06:01.12 Because of those who sat; fear of those who sat, 00:06:01.16\00:06:06.59 fear of what other people, what those big names around 00:06:06.63\00:06:10.97 his table, fear of what they thought led him to behead John 00:06:11.00\00:06:18.67 the Baptist; that forerunner of the Messiah, John the Baptist. 00:06:18.71\00:06:23.48 Fearful pride is a fear of what other people think of me. 00:06:23.51\00:06:29.55 It is always self motivated, self focused, and self driven. 00:06:29.58\00:06:35.59 To me its maybe being a people pleaser. 00:06:35.62\00:06:40.50 And if I'm being honest with you, I think of all the prides 00:06:40.53\00:06:43.73 that we've been discussing, this one is my biggest struggle: 00:06:43.77\00:06:49.27 fearful pride. This one really gets me. 00:06:49.30\00:06:52.97 We're going to look at our self evaluation. 00:06:53.01\00:06:55.24 As always, when you do a self evaluation be honest. 00:06:55.28\00:06:59.95 Put down which one you identify most closely with. 00:06:59.98\00:07:04.62 Is there any fear lurking there? 1. 00:07:10.86\00:07:14.06 And I have been there. 2. 00:07:39.92\00:07:42.52 And I have been there. The last one. 00:07:59.04\00:08:02.71 It's really the fear of what other people think is kind of 00:08:21.90\00:08:26.97 the fowopt experience. 00:08:27.00\00:08:29.30 Fowopt is an acronym that my friend, Bobby Davis... 00:08:29.34\00:08:32.71 He works here at 3ABN, and he came up with this acronym. 00:08:32.77\00:08:36.28 It stands for fear of what other people think of me. 00:08:36.31\00:08:43.55 Fear of what other people think, or the fowopt experience. 00:08:43.59\00:08:50.99 Fowopt. It's the reason we let a popular person gossip to us 00:08:51.03\00:08:58.37 about our best friend, yet we don't say anything. 00:08:58.40\00:09:01.40 It's the reason we don't want to get up and lead song service 00:09:01.44\00:09:05.54 at church when a gifted singer or song writer happens 00:09:05.57\00:09:10.18 to be in the audience. 00:09:10.25\00:09:12.01 It's the reason we don't step out in obedience and do 00:09:12.05\00:09:16.28 something that God calls us to do because we're afraid 00:09:16.32\00:09:20.49 someone's going to say, You didn't do it right. 00:09:20.52\00:09:23.29 You didn't hear God's voice. 00:09:23.32\00:09:25.76 You aren't supposed to do that. 00:09:25.79\00:09:28.20 Fowopt experience: fear of what other people think. 00:09:28.23\00:09:34.00 It dictates what we eat, what we wear, where we go, 00:09:34.04\00:09:39.77 who we talk to; the Fowopt experience. 00:09:39.81\00:09:45.25 I had a pastor friend once, and he said to me something, 00:09:45.28\00:09:50.12 this was years ago, but it stayed with me 00:09:50.15\00:09:53.49 through all those years. 00:09:53.52\00:09:55.49 He said, Jill, if you feel nervous when you get up front, 00:09:55.52\00:10:00.43 or if you feel nervous doing something, it's a sign of pride. 00:10:00.46\00:10:05.33 Now as soon as he said that, my own pride bristled. 00:10:05.37\00:10:10.34 I thought, How dare you say that? 00:10:10.41\00:10:12.77 That's not right! 00:10:12.84\00:10:14.18 It's not pride in me because I'm afraid. 00:10:14.21\00:10:17.25 But the longer I thought about it, the truer it seemed to be. 00:10:17.28\00:10:22.52 Why would I be afraid? 00:10:22.55\00:10:24.69 1. Say I'm up front speaking. 00:10:24.75\00:10:27.56 Why would I be afraid? 00:10:27.59\00:10:29.76 Well, I wouldn't want to mess up. 00:10:29.79\00:10:31.89 That's a good thing. 00:10:31.96\00:10:33.29 Now why would I not want to mess up? 00:10:33.33\00:10:36.46 Because people would think badly of me. 00:10:36.50\00:10:39.93 They might think, You didn't prepare very well, Jill. 00:10:40.00\00:10:43.61 Or they might think, You're not very good at speaking. 00:10:43.64\00:10:47.21 Or they might think, Why is she up there anyway? 00:10:47.24\00:10:50.95 You see how that pride, the fear of what other people think, 00:10:50.98\00:10:55.18 it covers and it springs into many, many aspects of our lives. 00:10:55.22\00:11:02.02 Now I want to caution you right now. 00:11:02.06\00:11:04.66 As we're talking about this, this does not mean that you go 00:11:04.69\00:11:08.46 out and you tell someone else who's afraid to get out 00:11:08.50\00:11:11.90 and minister for Jesus, who's afraid to speak for Jesus, 00:11:11.93\00:11:15.30 or to share, or to use the talents that God has 00:11:15.34\00:11:18.71 given them in ministry. 00:11:18.74\00:11:20.08 Don't go and tell them, You know what? 00:11:20.11\00:11:22.28 You've got pride in your life. 00:11:22.34\00:11:23.68 Because if we do that that's condemnation, and we know 00:11:23.71\00:11:28.75 that's from the enemy. 00:11:28.78\00:11:30.49 That's the critical spirit. 00:11:30.52\00:11:32.22 And we just went over that a couple programs ago. 00:11:32.25\00:11:35.76 Simply come to God yourself. 00:11:35.79\00:11:37.79 This isn't for anybody else. It's for our self. 00:11:37.83\00:11:40.80 Simply come to God and ask Him in the quietness of your heart, 00:11:40.83\00:11:44.37 Is there fearful pride in my heart? 00:11:44.43\00:11:48.60 Is there fearful pride in my life? 00:11:48.64\00:11:52.74 Nicodemus had a little bit of this fearful pride. 00:11:52.77\00:11:57.91 He came to Jesus, remember? John 3. 00:11:57.95\00:12:01.85 He came to Jesus at night. 00:12:01.88\00:12:05.49 Why? he was afraid. 00:12:05.52\00:12:09.09 He was part of the Sanhedrin. 00:12:09.12\00:12:11.49 He was a religious leader in their time, and in their day. 00:12:11.53\00:12:16.33 And Jesus was not so popular with the religious leaders. 00:12:16.36\00:12:21.14 The common people loved Him. 00:12:21.17\00:12:23.74 The children flocked to Him to sit on His lap, 00:12:23.77\00:12:27.61 to be blessed over by Him, to get a word of 00:12:27.64\00:12:31.45 encouragement or commendation. 00:12:31.48\00:12:33.88 The women loved Him because, in their culture, men didn't pay 00:12:33.92\00:12:39.09 attention to the women. 00:12:39.12\00:12:40.46 But yet He gave women value. 00:12:40.49\00:12:43.32 The common people loved Him, because He identified with their 00:12:43.36\00:12:49.30 needs, and He bade them, Follow Me. 00:12:49.43\00:12:52.73 The religious leaders had an issue, 00:12:52.77\00:12:56.04 probably because of pride. 00:12:56.07\00:12:58.17 Here was somebody popular. 00:12:58.21\00:13:00.21 Here was somebody that everyone was flocking to. 00:13:00.24\00:13:03.51 And what? Maybe their synagogue was a little more 00:13:03.55\00:13:06.82 empty that Sabbath. 00:13:06.85\00:13:08.18 Maybe their synagogue was a little dry and they said, 00:13:08.22\00:13:11.45 Why is everybody going over here? 00:13:11.49\00:13:13.15 He can't be the Messiah. 00:13:13.19\00:13:15.16 Nicodemus was one of those rulers, and he had this fear 00:13:15.19\00:13:21.16 in his heart; fear of what other people thought. 00:13:21.20\00:13:25.37 And so he came to Jesus at night. 00:13:25.40\00:13:29.20 He wasn't the only one who had an issue with that. 00:13:29.24\00:13:31.94 We see in John 12, John 12 we see that some of the other 00:13:31.97\00:13:39.15 ones had a similar issue. 00:13:39.18\00:13:40.92 We're in verse 42. 00:13:40.95\00:13:42.85 Nevertheless even among the rulers many believed in Him, 00:13:42.88\00:13:48.96 meaning many believed in Jesus, but because of the Pharisees 00:13:48.99\00:13:53.96 they did not confess Him, lest they should be put 00:13:54.00\00:13:58.10 out of the synagogue:... 00:13:58.13\00:13:59.47 And then this verse: For they loved the praise of men 00:13:59.50\00:14:05.01 more than the praise of God. 00:14:05.04\00:14:07.61 I have to ask myself every time I read that, Jill do you love 00:14:07.64\00:14:13.25 the praise of men more than the praise of your Father in Heaven? 00:14:13.28\00:14:18.05 If you feel that today, if you feel like, I love the praise of 00:14:18.09\00:14:23.29 men more than my Father in Heaven, there is hope. 00:14:23.32\00:14:28.03 We want to talk about the steps, the keys for us to experience 00:14:28.06\00:14:33.90 freedom, and deliverance, from the fear of men, 00:14:33.94\00:14:38.47 from the fear of what other people think of me. 00:14:38.51\00:14:42.14 There's four. How do we break free from the fearful pride? 00:14:42.18\00:14:47.65 1. Ask God to show you your heart. 00:14:47.68\00:14:52.55 Psalm 139:23, 24. I quote this often, but I love it. 00:14:52.59\00:14:57.96 Search me, O God, and know my heart: try me, and know my 00:14:57.99\00:15:02.56 thoughts: and see if there is any wickedness in me, 00:15:02.60\00:15:05.83 and lead me in the way everlasting. 00:15:05.87\00:15:08.94 I just flipped there in my Bible. 00:15:08.97\00:15:11.31 In the Hebrew, the Old Testament's written in Hebrew. 00:15:11.34\00:15:14.58 In the Hebrew it says, Search me, O God, and know my heart. 00:15:14.61\00:15:17.31 Do you know what the word search means in Hebrew? 00:15:17.35\00:15:19.68 intimately examine. 00:15:19.71\00:15:22.88 So when we come to God we're saying, Really look at me. 00:15:22.92\00:15:27.26 Really examine my heart. 00:15:27.29\00:15:30.26 What is going on in there? 00:15:30.29\00:15:32.19 Is there fearful pride? 00:15:32.23\00:15:33.80 I might think, I don't have any pride. 00:15:33.83\00:15:36.03 I don't have any fearful pride. 00:15:36.06\00:15:37.77 I don't care about what men think. 00:15:37.80\00:15:39.23 I'm all focused on Jesus. 00:15:39.27\00:15:40.80 And all of a sudden something pops up, 00:15:40.84\00:15:43.30 and I hadn't even realized it was there. 00:15:43.34\00:15:45.24 Go to God and ask Him to show you your heart. 00:15:45.27\00:15:50.31 2. Trust Him to change your heart. 00:15:50.35\00:15:55.48 We can't change our heart. 00:15:55.52\00:15:57.92 Jeremiah 13:23. The Bible says, Can the Ethiopian change his 00:15:57.95\00:16:03.96 skin, or the leopard his spots? then may you also do good, 00:16:03.99\00:16:10.00 who are accustomed to doing evil. 00:16:10.03\00:16:13.70 We can't change our hearts. 00:16:13.74\00:16:15.50 We can't break free from that fearful pride. 00:16:15.54\00:16:19.31 Trust God to change your heart. 00:16:19.34\00:16:23.01 3. Trust Him to complete the work that He has 00:16:23.04\00:16:29.48 begun in your life. 00:16:29.52\00:16:31.45 Philippians 1:6. Being confident of this very thing, 00:16:31.49\00:16:36.93 that he who began a good work in you will carry it 00:16:36.96\00:16:40.96 forward to completion. 00:16:41.00\00:16:43.10 God says, Trust Me. 00:16:43.13\00:16:45.47 Trust Me to complete the work I have begun in you. 00:16:45.50\00:16:50.01 4. Is behold Jesus. 00:16:50.04\00:16:54.44 I'm jumping back here to Isaiah. 00:16:54.48\00:16:56.64 Behold Jesus. He was a young man, yet he'd been called 00:16:56.68\00:17:02.88 to a very difficult mission, a hazardous job, a thankless task. 00:17:02.92\00:17:09.12 And I think God wanted to give him a special calling, 00:17:09.16\00:17:12.89 a special equipping for service. 00:17:12.93\00:17:17.17 I'm talking about, of course, the prophet Isaiah. 00:17:17.20\00:17:20.14 We see his call in Isaiah 6, Isaiah 6:1-4, 00:17:20.17\00:17:26.94 we're going to look at initially. 00:17:26.98\00:17:28.41 In the year that king Uzziah died, I... 00:17:28.44\00:17:32.21 This is Isaiah speaking. 00:17:32.25\00:17:33.58 I saw the Lord sitting on a throne, high and lifted up, 00:17:33.62\00:17:38.52 and the train of His robe filled the temple. 00:17:38.55\00:17:41.89 Above it stood seraphim: each one had six wings; 00:17:41.92\00:17:46.59 with two he covered his face, and with two he covered his 00:17:46.63\00:17:51.03 feet, and with two he flew. 00:17:51.07\00:17:53.90 Verse 3. And one cried to another, and said, Holy, holy, 00:17:53.94\00:18:01.31 holy, is the Lord of hosts: the whole earth 00:18:01.34\00:18:05.01 is filled with His glory. 00:18:05.05\00:18:06.61 And the posts of the door were shaken by the voice of him who 00:18:06.65\00:18:10.52 cried out, and the house was filled with smoke. 00:18:10.55\00:18:15.16 You notice that? Isaiah was beholding God. 00:18:15.19\00:18:18.53 Not beholding God for, Okay, God's on my level. 00:18:18.56\00:18:22.73 He saw God for who He truly is. 00:18:22.76\00:18:26.23 There's a difference. 00:18:26.27\00:18:27.60 He saw the holiness, the majesty, the glory of God. 00:18:27.64\00:18:33.17 He saw the way the angels treated Him. 00:18:33.21\00:18:36.41 The, what's it say? the posts were shaken. 00:18:36.44\00:18:39.58 I mean this was incredible; the glory of God that he saw. 00:18:39.61\00:18:43.89 And notice the next verse, verse 5 is in contrast 00:18:43.95\00:18:47.72 to the glory of God. 00:18:47.76\00:18:49.32 Verse 5. He said, So I said, Woe is me! for I am undone; 00:18:49.36\00:18:57.97 because I'm a man of unclean lips, and I dwell in the midst 00:18:58.00\00:19:01.27 of a people of unclean lips: for mine eyes have seen the King, 00:19:01.30\00:19:05.77 the Lord of hosts. 00:19:05.81\00:19:08.81 What's he saying there? 00:19:08.84\00:19:10.85 When he truly saw God for who God is, 00:19:10.88\00:19:14.85 he got a picture of himself. 00:19:14.88\00:19:16.85 He got a picture of his own unworthiness, 00:19:16.89\00:19:20.66 and that picture humbled him. 00:19:20.69\00:19:23.93 It humbled him into the dust. 00:19:23.96\00:19:27.13 He realized who he was in relation to God. 00:19:27.16\00:19:32.10 You know, so many times when I think I'm doing well, 00:19:32.13\00:19:35.44 or I'm afraid of other people. 00:19:35.47\00:19:38.74 You know what? I'm looking this way, sideways. 00:19:38.77\00:19:42.74 I'm looking between me and other people instead 00:19:42.78\00:19:46.95 of looking vertically; looking between me and God. 00:19:46.98\00:19:51.12 If we really get a sense of who God is, I realize I'm nothing. 00:19:51.15\00:19:55.29 And at the same time, I won't have some sort of false 00:19:55.32\00:19:58.49 humility, because I will realize I am something. 00:19:58.53\00:20:01.83 I am the daughter of God! 00:20:01.86\00:20:03.73 He created me, He loves me, and He has a plan for my life. 00:20:03.77\00:20:08.87 When we truly see God for who He is, then we can see others, 00:20:08.90\00:20:13.98 and ourselves, for who they truly are. 00:20:14.01\00:20:18.21 I believe its important to go to God for approval. 00:20:18.25\00:20:21.92 How often I want to go to other people. 00:20:21.95\00:20:24.65 Maybe you seek for approval from your boss, 00:20:24.69\00:20:27.39 or from a co-worker. 00:20:27.42\00:20:28.86 Maybe you're seeking approval from your spouse, or a neighbor. 00:20:28.89\00:20:34.10 Maybe you say, I can never be good enough. 00:20:34.13\00:20:38.10 I can never live up to their expectations. 00:20:38.13\00:20:42.00 I can never be what I think they want me to be. 00:20:42.04\00:20:47.31 God says, You are enough. 00:20:47.34\00:20:50.95 Come to Me for approval. 00:20:50.98\00:20:54.48 Come to Me. And you know what God's going to say? 00:20:54.55\00:20:57.49 I made you. I love you. 00:20:57.55\00:21:00.09 I want to cherish you. 00:21:00.12\00:21:02.52 I want to protect you. 00:21:02.56\00:21:04.86 I have a plan for your life, and its way better than the life 00:21:04.89\00:21:10.27 that you're currently living. 00:21:10.30\00:21:12.33 So ask. Ask God to show you where the fearful 00:21:12.37\00:21:16.84 pride is in your heart. 00:21:16.87\00:21:18.21 Ask God to show you who you look to for approval. 00:21:18.24\00:21:22.98 2. Trust God to change your heart. 00:21:23.01\00:21:27.98 Recognize that you can't do it yourself. 00:21:28.02\00:21:30.15 Trust God to change your heart. 00:21:30.19\00:21:33.86 3. Trust Him to complete the work that He has 00:21:33.89\00:21:39.26 begun in your life. 00:21:39.29\00:21:41.26 Trust Him to finish it. And, 00:21:41.30\00:21:44.77 4. get a picture of who God is. 00:21:44.80\00:21:48.20 Get a picture of His greatness, and awesomeness, and majesty. 00:21:48.24\00:21:53.41 Go to Him for approval. 00:21:53.48\00:21:55.98 Look to Jesus until He becomes more important to you 00:21:56.01\00:22:01.02 than anybody else. 00:22:01.08\00:22:03.49 I think that's really the key. 00:22:03.52\00:22:05.92 As I spend time in His Word, as I spend time getting to know 00:22:05.95\00:22:09.62 Jesus, as I look to Him He truly becomes more important to me 00:22:09.66\00:22:15.16 than anybody else. 00:22:15.20\00:22:17.30 We need to take a break at this time. 00:22:17.33\00:22:19.60 When we come back we're going to talk about our practical 00:22:19.63\00:22:22.84 application, something you can do to carry you 00:22:22.87\00:22:27.34 through this week. 00:22:27.38\00:22:28.71
