Sunrise Children's Home was established in 2001 00:00:29.19\00:00:32.33 in a cramped place in the town of Bobbili 00:00:32.36\00:00:34.56 in South India. 00:00:34.60\00:00:36.10 Having started with just three children, 00:00:36.13\00:00:38.40 this home over the years 00:00:38.43\00:00:40.00 has sheltered hundreds of orphan children. 00:00:40.04\00:00:44.31 In today's episode of Hope in Motion, 00:00:44.34\00:00:46.54 we meet newcomers, Anusha and Durga Prasad 00:00:46.57\00:00:49.94 and discover how Sunrise Home 00:00:49.98\00:00:51.65 is helping them deal with their tragic past. 00:00:51.68\00:00:54.32 Children are our future. 00:01:07.90\00:01:10.83 They are full of dreams and desires. 00:01:10.87\00:01:13.54 But in a world of unspeakable despair, 00:01:13.57\00:01:15.77 these ignited minds live in poverty and privation, 00:01:15.80\00:01:18.74 helpless and hopeless. 00:01:18.77\00:01:20.78 Child Impact International is an organization giving hope. 00:01:24.05\00:01:27.92 It is an organization fostering permanent positive change 00:01:27.95\00:01:31.32 in the lives of disadvantaged children 00:01:31.35\00:01:33.39 and those who are in need. 00:01:33.42\00:01:35.79 Serving communities in India, Nepal, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, 00:01:35.82\00:01:40.50 Myanmar, and beyond. 00:01:40.53\00:01:43.03 For the last 15 years, 00:01:43.06\00:01:44.90 Child Impact is invested in the futures of children, 00:01:44.93\00:01:48.10 and their investment has proven infinite returns. 00:01:48.14\00:01:51.04 Driven by their dedication to helping those 00:01:51.07\00:01:53.58 who have the least, 00:01:53.61\00:01:55.11 Child Impact is an organization 00:01:55.14\00:01:56.98 focused on the welfare of children. 00:01:57.01\00:01:59.61 Implementing diverse development projects 00:01:59.65\00:02:02.02 and sponsoring thousands of children. 00:02:02.05\00:02:05.09 Their outreach spans from child rescue operations 00:02:05.12\00:02:08.09 to providing an education for orphans, 00:02:08.12\00:02:10.53 deaf, and the blind children, 00:02:10.56\00:02:12.99 giving them a sense of place, a home. 00:02:13.03\00:02:16.56 But above all, Child Impact is an organization giving hope, 00:02:16.60\00:02:20.77 giving hope to children, giving hope to communities, 00:02:20.80\00:02:25.21 giving hope to the ones who needed the most. 00:02:25.24\00:02:28.34 This is Hope in Motion. 00:02:32.91\00:02:35.38 Passing through the town of Bobbili 00:03:02.11\00:03:03.81 in Andhra Pradesh, India, 00:03:03.85\00:03:05.65 one gets accustomed to the buzz and chaos 00:03:05.68\00:03:07.85 of a typical rural town. 00:03:07.88\00:03:10.12 These small towns, 00:03:10.15\00:03:11.49 service centers for commercial activities 00:03:11.52\00:03:13.39 for the 600,000 villages spread all across India 00:03:13.42\00:03:16.62 and are linking points to bigger cities and beyond. 00:03:16.66\00:03:21.43 India is a land of contrast, conservative and contemporary, 00:03:21.46\00:03:26.33 chaotic and calm, gloomy and hopeful. 00:03:26.37\00:03:30.61 Sunrise Children's Home 00:03:30.64\00:03:31.97 is the beginning of hope to many orphan children, 00:03:32.01\00:03:34.74 who bring with them stories 00:03:34.78\00:03:36.11 unimaginably difficult to endure. 00:03:36.14\00:03:38.45 Stories like that of nine-year-old Anusha Gantredi. 00:03:38.48\00:03:42.02 Anusha is a fourth grade student 00:04:08.31\00:04:10.41 at the Seventh-day Adventist High School in Bobbili. 00:04:10.45\00:04:13.48 Her home is the Sunrise Children's Home 00:04:13.52\00:04:15.82 built by Child Impact, 00:04:15.85\00:04:17.32 to shelter scores of children like Anusha, 00:04:17.35\00:04:20.06 who are orphaned at a young age. 00:04:20.09\00:04:22.92 Anusha lost both parents. 00:04:22.96\00:04:25.03 They died with jaundice. 00:04:25.06\00:04:28.06 Because of poverty and the lack of medical facilities, 00:04:28.10\00:04:31.63 they were unable to take treatment. 00:04:31.67\00:04:34.27 And it's unfortunate that such a young girl 00:04:34.30\00:04:36.77 lost both parents at an early age. 00:04:36.81\00:04:38.57 This is Sanyasi Rao, he is Anusha's uncle, 00:04:55.66\00:04:58.96 Anusha's both parents, father and mother died, 00:04:58.99\00:05:01.76 and his wife also died. 00:05:01.80\00:05:03.93 With the help of gram panchayat village president, 00:05:03.97\00:05:07.57 he came and joined in Sunrise Children Home. 00:05:07.60\00:05:11.27 Both the parents died with jaundice, 00:05:19.31\00:05:21.68 and liver was spoiled, and the viral fever, 00:05:21.72\00:05:24.69 because of that, they both died. 00:05:24.72\00:05:27.46 First, father died and then mother died. 00:05:27.49\00:05:30.06 Anusha lost both her parents last summer, 00:05:46.54\00:05:49.64 her mother had contracted jaundice 00:05:49.68\00:05:51.98 and had died due to liver failure. 00:05:52.01\00:05:54.38 Within two months, 00:05:54.42\00:05:55.75 her father suffered similar complications and died 00:05:55.78\00:05:58.95 leaving Anusha, their only child, 00:05:58.99\00:06:01.72 orphaned when she was just eight years old. 00:06:01.76\00:06:04.96 Anusha's uncle, Sanyasi Rao took her home 00:06:04.99\00:06:08.53 and tried his best to care for her. 00:06:08.56\00:06:10.83 But he being a poor farmer 00:06:10.87\00:06:12.70 struggled to take good care of her, 00:06:12.73\00:06:14.34 and did not have the means to send her to a good school. 00:06:14.37\00:06:17.91 The village president 00:06:17.94\00:06:19.27 who witnessed his struggles 00:06:19.31\00:06:20.64 suggested he take Anusha to Sunrise Home 00:06:20.68\00:06:23.04 which was not far from his village. 00:06:23.08\00:06:25.01 He says, after joining her in Sunrise Home, 00:06:39.76\00:06:42.30 his burden was free, and he was very happy now. 00:06:42.33\00:06:46.33 If he could not able to join in Sunrise Home, 00:06:56.44\00:06:59.88 he used to take her as a coolie to the farm, 00:06:59.91\00:07:02.88 and work as a farmer in the field. 00:07:02.92\00:07:09.42 He says that 00:07:09.46\00:07:10.79 he was very happy joining her in Sunrise Children Home. 00:07:10.83\00:07:13.43 Anusha is fortunate to have come to Sunrise Home. 00:07:17.07\00:07:20.17 One can only imagine the destiny of an orphaned girl 00:07:20.20\00:07:23.51 growing up in a household, struggling to survive. 00:07:23.54\00:07:27.54 Well, I don't think 00:07:27.58\00:07:28.91 we can understand the life of an orphan. 00:07:28.94\00:07:31.08 They may not know who their parents are, 00:07:31.11\00:07:33.42 or they may know the tragic circumstances 00:07:33.45\00:07:36.08 they come from. 00:07:36.12\00:07:37.45 So we not only give them an education, 00:07:37.49\00:07:39.89 we give them a home, 00:07:39.92\00:07:41.29 but we give them hope, we give them a future. 00:07:41.32\00:07:44.36 And just for a child knowing that they have got a future, 00:07:44.39\00:07:47.56 knowing that they've got some way 00:07:47.60\00:07:49.06 they can go in their life 00:07:49.10\00:07:50.73 makes a huge difference to them, 00:07:50.77\00:07:53.13 and we're just so excited that we can be a part 00:07:53.17\00:07:56.04 of making that total difference. 00:07:56.07\00:07:58.14 Anusha has been at Sunrise Home 00:08:02.24\00:08:04.05 for three months now, 00:08:04.08\00:08:05.41 and although she found it difficult 00:08:05.45\00:08:06.78 to adjust to her new life, 00:08:06.82\00:08:08.42 she has grown to love her new home. 00:08:08.45\00:08:12.19 In the beginning, 00:08:12.22\00:08:13.56 when they come from the different places, 00:08:13.59\00:08:15.52 after they come here, 00:08:15.56\00:08:17.23 they will see all this environment, 00:08:17.26\00:08:18.76 it is different to their homes where they stayed. 00:08:18.79\00:08:22.66 But after coming here, 00:08:22.70\00:08:24.03 they will mingle with all the children, 00:08:24.07\00:08:25.40 and they will learn. 00:08:25.43\00:08:26.77 Within one or two months, they will be very active 00:08:26.80\00:08:29.30 and they'll become very smart. 00:08:29.34\00:08:31.24 Anusha goes to the Adventist High School 00:08:37.41\00:08:39.41 in Bobbili town 00:08:39.45\00:08:40.78 and has quickly proven to be a smart student. 00:08:40.82\00:08:43.49 What a delight it is for us to see her in uniform, 00:08:43.52\00:08:46.25 receiving a good Christian education. 00:08:46.29\00:08:48.66 And come to think of it, 00:08:48.69\00:08:50.03 Anusha could have ended up 00:08:50.06\00:08:51.39 having a completely different life 00:08:51.43\00:08:52.76 if she didn't come to Sunrise Home. 00:08:52.79\00:08:55.56 Even though we are caretakers of the children 00:08:55.60\00:08:57.93 giving them food and shelter, 00:08:57.97\00:08:59.50 but there are the sponsors 00:08:59.53\00:09:00.87 who are playing important role in their lives, 00:09:00.90\00:09:04.54 giving them opportunity 00:09:04.57\00:09:06.24 to become something in the life. 00:09:06.27\00:09:09.54 Without their sponsorship, 00:09:09.58\00:09:11.35 these children would have no way of gaining an education 00:09:11.38\00:09:15.12 at a Christian setting. 00:09:15.15\00:09:16.58 And the children that I see, where I see they come from, 00:09:16.62\00:09:21.12 would not have this chance if it wasn't for Child Impact. 00:09:21.16\00:09:25.53 And though, and we may not do a lot of children 00:09:25.56\00:09:28.03 in a world setting, but the ones that we do, 00:09:28.06\00:09:31.33 it can really make a huge difference, 00:09:31.37\00:09:34.04 that's what I like to see. 00:09:34.07\00:09:35.64 Today, Child Impact is bringing joy and happiness 00:09:47.55\00:09:51.05 to many children like Anusha 00:09:51.09\00:09:52.99 who are unfortunate to have suffered 00:09:53.02\00:09:54.46 the loss of their parents. 00:09:54.49\00:09:56.73 Instead of a life working in the fields 00:09:56.76\00:09:58.76 or working as a maid, 00:09:58.79\00:10:00.20 Anusha has found a new home and goes to school 00:10:00.23\00:10:03.26 with a promise of a bright future. 00:10:03.30\00:10:05.53 A couple of years ago my daughters and I 00:10:34.60\00:10:36.63 had a wonderful opportunity to travel to India. 00:10:36.67\00:10:40.04 And while we were there, 00:10:40.07\00:10:41.40 we met yet another part of our family 00:10:41.44\00:10:43.54 and that's our sponsored daughter Sheila. 00:10:43.57\00:10:46.14 We've had the privilege of sponsoring Sheila 00:10:46.17\00:10:48.64 through Child Impact International 00:10:48.68\00:10:50.91 for more than three years now. 00:10:50.95\00:10:53.18 And, you know, while we were there, 00:10:53.21\00:10:55.05 she shared with us 00:10:55.08\00:10:56.42 that her dream was to become a nurse. 00:10:56.45\00:10:59.49 Now, what a wonderful privilege it is for us 00:10:59.52\00:11:02.29 now as a family to know that she is fulfilling that dream. 00:11:02.32\00:11:07.43 Sheila is now studying to be a nurse. 00:11:07.46\00:11:10.10 She's in college, 00:11:10.13\00:11:11.47 and we could not be happier for her. 00:11:11.50\00:11:13.80 It's been wonderful to be part of that journey with her. 00:11:13.84\00:11:17.24 And, you know, 00:11:17.27\00:11:18.61 sponsoring a child through Child Impact, 00:11:18.64\00:11:20.61 it's made an incredible difference 00:11:20.64\00:11:22.34 for our family. 00:11:22.38\00:11:23.75 And I know that for you sponsoring a child 00:11:23.78\00:11:25.91 can make a difference for you too. 00:11:25.95\00:11:27.98 And most importantly, 00:11:28.02\00:11:29.35 it can make the difference in the life of a child 00:11:29.38\00:11:31.95 every day. 00:11:31.99\00:11:33.32 At Adventist mission schools like this one in Bangladesh, 00:11:45.17\00:11:48.67 Child Impact International sponsors hundreds of children. 00:11:48.70\00:11:52.37 We often think that sponsorship 00:11:52.41\00:11:54.74 only impacts on the life of the child, 00:11:54.78\00:11:57.41 but it's much wider than that, 00:11:57.45\00:11:59.28 it impacts on the parents and on the community. 00:11:59.31\00:12:02.82 But more important, it impacts on the school. 00:12:02.85\00:12:06.12 It becomes valuable income for the school, 00:12:06.15\00:12:09.29 and then in turn, 00:12:09.32\00:12:10.66 it impacts on hundreds of other children. 00:12:10.69\00:12:13.06 I just ask that you would consider 00:12:13.09\00:12:15.40 sponsoring a child with Child Impact 00:12:15.43\00:12:18.00 or supporting one of its valuable projects 00:12:18.03\00:12:20.74 that will improve education in Adventist mission schools 00:12:20.77\00:12:24.57 like this one in right here. 00:12:24.61\00:12:26.17 Child Impact International is an organization 00:12:54.00\00:12:56.71 that is committed to making a difference 00:12:56.74\00:12:58.67 in the lives of children living in poverty. 00:12:58.71\00:13:01.91 Since its inception, 00:13:01.94\00:13:03.48 Child Impact has provided thousands of needy children, 00:13:03.51\00:13:06.55 and education in Adventist mission schools 00:13:06.58\00:13:09.12 through its sponsorship program. 00:13:09.15\00:13:11.35 Although its primary objective has always been 00:13:11.39\00:13:13.72 to provide education to needy children, 00:13:13.76\00:13:16.32 one of the key areas it is proud to be involved in 00:13:16.36\00:13:19.26 is in the development of orphanages 00:13:19.29\00:13:21.20 and the welfare of orphans. 00:13:21.23\00:13:24.63 Well, the other key area we're involved in as orphans 00:13:24.67\00:13:27.60 and orphanages, 00:13:27.64\00:13:28.97 and we call them children's homes. 00:13:29.00\00:13:30.87 Now, obviously a child that no longer has parents, 00:13:30.91\00:13:34.74 or the parents have abandoned them. 00:13:34.78\00:13:37.15 But yes, we do have some children 00:13:37.18\00:13:39.35 who may have a parent or even parents. 00:13:39.38\00:13:41.98 But the whole family unit is disintegrated, 00:13:42.02\00:13:44.95 or the parent they have 00:13:44.99\00:13:46.69 is simply not capable of looking after them. 00:13:46.72\00:13:50.06 And so they have no hope. 00:13:50.09\00:13:51.93 So there is a small core group of children 00:13:51.96\00:13:55.20 that really need help in these type of a homes, 00:13:55.23\00:13:58.60 and we're just so delighted 00:13:58.63\00:14:01.44 that we can make a difference in the lives of these children. 00:14:01.47\00:14:04.54 Sunrise Children's Home in the outskirts of Bobbili 00:14:13.78\00:14:16.58 in Andhra Pradesh, India is a sprawling campus 00:14:16.62\00:14:19.49 that is home to 82 orphaned children at present. 00:14:19.52\00:14:23.22 These children, many with heartbreaking stories, 00:14:23.26\00:14:26.19 are fully dependent on Child Impact support 00:14:26.23\00:14:28.83 for their daily needs. 00:14:28.86\00:14:30.67 Child Impact support 00:14:30.70\00:14:32.23 ensures these children can live and learn 00:14:32.27\00:14:34.60 in the security of a home. 00:14:34.64\00:14:36.54 Five years old Durga Prasad 00:15:00.90\00:15:03.16 came to Sunrise Home a couple of months ago. 00:15:03.20\00:15:05.97 He was brought to Sunrise Home by Sridhar Parisarla, 00:15:06.00\00:15:09.04 a social worker with Specialized Adoption Agency. 00:15:09.07\00:15:11.94 Durga Prasad comes from a remote village. 00:15:36.97\00:15:40.77 His father died 00:15:40.80\00:15:42.47 and mother is in prison. 00:15:42.50\00:15:44.37 Although he has relatives, 00:15:44.41\00:15:46.84 they're unable to take care of him 00:15:46.88\00:15:48.24 because they are poor. 00:15:48.28\00:15:51.08 And like Durga Prasad, 00:15:51.11\00:15:53.08 many children come from such remote villages. 00:15:53.11\00:15:57.85 After his mother was incarcerated 00:15:57.89\00:15:59.75 for the death of his father, 00:15:59.79\00:16:01.39 Durga and his older sister were rescued 00:16:01.42\00:16:03.66 and brought to the Specialized Adoption Agency, 00:16:03.69\00:16:06.03 a government funded adoption agency 00:16:06.06\00:16:08.13 under the Department of Women Development 00:16:08.16\00:16:09.83 and Child Welfare. 00:16:09.86\00:16:11.50 They could not be enrolled for adoption 00:16:11.53\00:16:13.40 because they still had a living parent. 00:16:13.44\00:16:15.64 Durga's sister was sent to an all-girls shelter home 00:16:15.67\00:16:18.41 run by the government. 00:16:18.44\00:16:19.77 And since Durga could not be sent with her, 00:16:19.81\00:16:21.94 Sridhar brought him to Sunrise Home. 00:16:21.98\00:16:23.91 Raj Varma, field officer for Child Impact, 00:16:48.70\00:16:51.87 took us to Durga's village 00:16:51.91\00:16:53.24 where we met with his relatives. 00:16:53.27\00:16:54.94 His aunt, emotionally overwhelmed, 00:16:54.98\00:16:57.15 could not hold back her tears upon seeing Durga. 00:16:57.18\00:16:59.71 What's she saying? 00:17:13.50\00:17:14.83 Yeah, I felt very sorry about this situation. 00:17:14.86\00:17:17.63 After my sister killed my brother-in-law, 00:17:17.67\00:17:21.64 we felt very, very sorry about the children 00:17:21.67\00:17:23.81 and also the family situation. 00:17:23.84\00:17:27.81 In remote villages 00:17:27.84\00:17:29.18 where people live in close quarters, 00:17:29.21\00:17:30.95 news of a tragedy of such magnitude 00:17:30.98\00:17:33.28 is not easily forgotten. 00:17:33.31\00:17:34.88 And the family is victimized, ridiculed, 00:17:34.92\00:17:37.29 and reminded of the shame it has brought to the village, 00:17:37.32\00:17:40.02 almost on a daily basis. 00:17:40.06\00:17:41.82 The situation is very bad. 00:18:10.42\00:18:11.82 But all the village people criticized us. 00:18:11.85\00:18:14.62 Your sister made a big mistake and killed that man. 00:18:14.66\00:18:18.33 If she doesn't like husband 00:18:18.36\00:18:19.69 and she wants to live together with another person, 00:18:19.73\00:18:22.63 she can take that person and leave the village and go. 00:18:22.66\00:18:27.20 Durga's aunt tells us she is a daily laborer 00:18:27.24\00:18:29.97 and is not in a position to take care of him 00:18:30.01\00:18:32.27 if the responsibility fell on her. 00:18:32.31\00:18:34.94 She's thankful that government officials 00:18:34.98\00:18:36.95 took Durga and his sister to shelter homes outside. 00:18:36.98\00:18:40.45 If Durga was not rescued and brought to Sunrise, 00:18:40.48\00:18:43.59 there is a high chance 00:18:43.62\00:18:44.95 he would be abandoned by his relatives. 00:18:44.99\00:18:46.69 One of the major problems 00:19:19.79\00:19:21.22 faced by orphaned and abandoned children in India 00:19:21.26\00:19:23.86 is trafficking. 00:19:23.89\00:19:25.36 They are often preyed upon by people 00:19:25.39\00:19:27.10 who take advantage of their situation 00:19:27.13\00:19:29.06 and end up begging in the streets 00:19:29.10\00:19:30.83 or as child laborers. 00:19:30.87\00:19:32.67 They become caught in the web of organized slavery, 00:19:32.70\00:19:35.50 unable to free themselves, 00:19:35.54\00:19:37.21 but their rescue and eventual rehabilitation 00:19:37.24\00:19:39.97 can have a transforming effect on them for good. 00:19:40.01\00:19:42.78 Shelter homes like Sunrise 00:19:42.81\00:19:44.61 play a crucial role in this transformation. 00:19:44.65\00:19:49.12 What happens if a child in need, doesn't... 00:19:49.15\00:19:52.15 is not in a position that Child Impact offers? 00:19:52.19\00:19:57.33 Well, that child has no protection. 00:19:57.36\00:19:59.49 So what's the risk of a child who does not have protection? 00:19:59.53\00:20:02.06 They can be trafficked, they can be abused, 00:20:02.10\00:20:04.57 they can be misused. 00:20:04.60\00:20:06.97 So what's their future? 00:20:07.00\00:20:08.70 Really, it's slavery in a modern world. 00:20:08.74\00:20:13.48 So if these children do not, 00:20:13.51\00:20:15.44 are not supported by organizations 00:20:15.48\00:20:17.45 like Child Impact, 00:20:17.48\00:20:19.11 their future is really bleak. 00:20:19.15\00:20:22.58 There is no future for them, 00:20:22.62\00:20:24.49 because they're open to be abused by other people. 00:20:24.52\00:20:28.79 And there are lots of people 00:20:28.82\00:20:30.16 who will exploit vulnerable children. 00:20:30.19\00:20:32.76 So it's such an opportunity 00:20:32.79\00:20:34.20 to create such a transformations, 00:20:34.23\00:20:36.83 not a change, it's an absolute transformation 00:20:36.87\00:20:40.27 from what would be to what could be. 00:20:40.30\00:20:43.54 And that's what Child Impact is about. 00:20:43.57\00:20:46.11 Help us, make the difference with you. 00:20:46.14\00:20:48.44 Durga Prasad has adapted well to his new home at Sunrise. 00:20:51.45\00:20:55.12 He is loved and cared for along with other boys and girls 00:20:55.15\00:20:58.55 who have come from similar backgrounds like him. 00:20:58.59\00:21:01.29 Although we are sure he misses his mother and sister, 00:21:01.32\00:21:04.19 we can take comfort in the fact that he is in a safe place, 00:21:04.23\00:21:07.80 and he now has an opportunity to go to school. 00:21:07.83\00:21:10.33 A, B... 00:21:28.68\00:21:30.55 P, Q, R, 00:21:33.59\00:21:36.69 S, T, U, V... 00:21:36.73\00:21:41.26 Throughout India, 00:21:41.30\00:21:42.63 there are many children who have lost their parents 00:21:42.66\00:21:44.63 to unfortunate circumstances 00:21:44.67\00:21:46.37 and are abandoned by their relatives, 00:21:46.40\00:21:48.20 simply because they have no means to provide for them. 00:21:48.24\00:21:51.24 But today, Sunrise Home is a haven of refuge 00:21:51.27\00:21:54.78 and serves as a beacon of hope for these young boys and girls, 00:21:54.81\00:21:58.28 giving them a second chance in life. 00:21:58.31\00:22:02.55 Yes, we all invest in life, in everything in life. 00:22:02.58\00:22:06.39 The greatest investment with the greatest reward 00:22:06.42\00:22:09.82 is an investment in a child. 00:22:09.86\00:22:13.06 And that's what Child Impact is about. 00:22:13.09\00:22:15.33 We love to invest in children, invest in their health, 00:22:15.36\00:22:21.44 in their education, in their family environment, 00:22:21.47\00:22:24.57 in their school environment, in their physical, 00:22:24.61\00:22:27.38 in their spiritual, in their mental, 00:22:27.41\00:22:29.31 in their emotional abilities. 00:22:29.34\00:22:31.25 It's the whole child that Child Impact International 00:22:31.28\00:22:35.98 invests in. 00:22:36.02\00:22:37.42 So your funds go to a holistic approach 00:22:37.45\00:22:42.26 for the child, 00:22:42.29\00:22:43.63 so that child can be anything it chooses to be 00:22:43.66\00:22:48.23 because of your help. 00:22:48.26\00:22:50.13 Thank you for helping Child Impact, 00:22:50.17\00:22:52.33 achieve this wonderful goal for these children. 00:22:52.37\00:22:55.70 Hi, I am Jaime Jorge. 00:23:17.03\00:23:19.23 And I want to tell you, I am honored to be 00:23:19.26\00:23:21.60 a Child Impact International ambassador. 00:23:21.63\00:23:24.73 I've had the opportunity to travel to India and Myanmar. 00:23:24.77\00:23:28.50 And I've met hundreds of young people 00:23:28.54\00:23:31.17 that are being sponsored by wonderful folks here 00:23:31.21\00:23:34.81 and in other parts of the world that are making it possible 00:23:34.84\00:23:37.98 for these young people to have an education, 00:23:38.01\00:23:41.02 a future, salvation, and hope in Jesus Christ. 00:23:41.05\00:23:45.55 So I'd like to invite you
