India is a land full of contrast. 00:00:21.14\00:00:25.56 It's a land of great mystery and beauty. 00:00:25.59\00:00:29.00 It's a land of unspeakable despair, 00:00:29.03\00:00:32.41 but traveling through India one thing is for sure, 00:00:32.44\00:00:35.86 it's a land filled with people 00:00:35.89\00:00:37.55 who should never be underestimated. 00:00:37.58\00:00:40.99 For the last 40 years, 00:00:41.02\00:00:42.54 Asian Aid has invested in the futures of people 00:00:42.57\00:00:45.42 who have never been given such a chance, 00:00:45.45\00:00:47.75 and their investment has proven infinite returns. 00:00:47.78\00:00:52.35 Driven by the vision of Helen Eager, 00:00:52.38\00:00:54.40 dedicated to helping those who have the least. 00:00:54.43\00:00:57.30 Asian Aid is an organization implementing 00:00:57.33\00:00:59.32 diverse development projects 00:00:59.35\00:01:01.28 and sponsoring thousands of children. 00:01:01.31\00:01:04.71 Their outreach expands from Bangladesh to Nepal, 00:01:04.74\00:01:07.65 Sri Lanka and beyond, from remote villages 00:01:07.68\00:01:11.25 and empty fields to sprawling centers of education 00:01:11.28\00:01:15.34 from nothing to the unimaginable. 00:01:15.37\00:01:19.32 Now Asian Aid decided to document 00:01:19.35\00:01:21.80 the work it has been doing in all these years 00:01:21.83\00:01:23.81 with a desire to show the world what is possible. 00:01:23.84\00:01:27.24 By digging wells in remote villages 00:01:27.27\00:01:29.13 for clean drinking water, 00:01:29.16\00:01:30.94 and bringing much needed healthcare 00:01:30.97\00:01:32.42 to the women of Nepal. 00:01:32.45\00:01:34.93 By providing an education for orphans, 00:01:34.96\00:01:37.24 deaf and blind children, 00:01:37.27\00:01:38.80 giving them a sense of place, a home, 00:01:38.83\00:01:41.76 but what we really discovered was being given was hope. 00:01:41.79\00:01:45.65 Giving hope to children, giving hope to women, 00:01:45.68\00:01:50.03 giving hope to the ones who needed the most. 00:01:50.06\00:01:53.98 This is Hope in Motion. 00:01:54.01\00:01:56.03 I want to become doctor 00:02:06.80\00:02:08.34 because I want to help the other people. 00:02:08.37\00:02:12.28 [speaking in foreign language] 00:02:29.27\00:02:31.49 These kids are like any other kids. 00:02:59.42\00:03:04.88 They sleep and they dream 00:03:04.91\00:03:08.91 only for these kids it's on top of each other. 00:03:08.94\00:03:11.55 In that small room we have to sleep, 00:03:16.66\00:03:19.19 42 girls in that room and we are not adjusted there 00:03:19.22\00:03:23.91 and it is not enough place to sleep there. 00:03:23.94\00:03:28.38 Sleeping on the floor in the cold season 00:03:30.79\00:03:33.89 and they are getting chest cold. 00:03:33.92\00:03:36.03 These are the kids at Sunrise Orphanage. 00:03:38.57\00:03:40.43 They live by a cesspool of trash and sewerage, 00:03:44.43\00:03:47.41 a breading ground for mosquitoes. 00:03:47.44\00:03:49.69 We are getting scared about the children health. 00:03:51.83\00:03:54.30 Due to the mosquitoes they are getting malaria... 00:03:54.33\00:03:56.96 We are little dismayed by their surroundings to say the least. 00:03:59.20\00:04:03.50 Yeah, when we realized where they started out. 00:04:03.53\00:04:06.25 It's easy to see how far they have come. 00:04:06.28\00:04:10.80 But there is no denying how far they still need to go. 00:04:10.83\00:04:13.51 Asian Aid asked our film team to come to Bobbili, 00:04:23.31\00:04:26.20 near the central east coast of India 00:04:26.23\00:04:28.78 to see the Sunrise Orphanage home, 00:04:28.81\00:04:31.05 a small rented building on the outskirts of town. 00:04:31.08\00:04:33.36 As an outsider looking in, 00:04:34.97\00:04:36.15 there's something immediately appealing about these kids. 00:04:36.18\00:04:40.24 It's hard to put your finger on it 00:04:40.27\00:04:42.01 until you meet the couple that have dedicated their lives 00:04:42.04\00:04:44.36 to taking care of them. 00:04:44.39\00:04:46.38 Meet Lolitha, the director of Sunrise 00:04:46.41\00:04:49.24 and her husband Varma, a top Asian Aid field officer, 00:04:49.27\00:04:53.24 they introduced us to the kids. 00:04:53.27\00:04:55.30 Their smiles and demeanor seemed outshine 00:05:06.09\00:05:08.21 their trouble pasts like Hannah, a servant girl 00:05:08.24\00:05:11.81 who witnessed her father killing her mother. 00:05:11.84\00:05:14.59 And Rosey, an aspiring singer 00:05:14.62\00:05:16.95 whose parents both died of AIDS, 00:05:16.98\00:05:19.40 each with their own story. 00:05:19.43\00:05:22.20 These kids have every reason to despondent, 00:05:22.23\00:05:24.91 sad or problematic, but they are not. 00:05:24.94\00:05:28.35 Each one has dream of becoming something 00:05:28.38\00:05:30.19 great when they grow up. 00:05:30.22\00:05:32.65 As we get to know each kid the thought accursed us, 00:05:32.68\00:05:36.53 "Why would Asian Aid want us to see this place?" 00:05:36.56\00:05:38.80 It doesn't seem right that this is 00:05:40.44\00:05:41.73 what they are living across from. 00:05:41.76\00:05:44.02 But Varma reminds us of Asian Aid's ambitious mission, 00:05:44.05\00:05:47.27 "Help the least of the least." 00:05:47.30\00:05:49.49 And how it wasn't always like this here at Sunrise, 00:05:49.52\00:05:52.28 the need is tremendous and growing. 00:05:52.31\00:05:54.80 Need is more in this area, why? 00:05:54.83\00:05:57.27 Most of the people is illiterates. 00:05:57.30\00:06:00.21 Most of the children, they simply, 00:06:00.24\00:06:01.86 they will run here and there on the roads 00:06:01.89\00:06:03.47 without food and proper clothes. 00:06:03.50\00:06:05.64 This is a backwards area, 00:06:05.67\00:06:06.77 there is no proper income for the people, 00:06:06.80\00:06:09.52 no proper education, 00:06:09.55\00:06:10.75 the most of the children are becoming orphans. 00:06:10.78\00:06:13.22 Orphans are becoming more and more and more and very year. 00:06:13.25\00:06:16.28 We started the orphanage 00:06:16.31\00:06:17.41 with the small orphanage with 3 children, 00:06:17.44\00:06:19.45 that 3 children went up to the 7 children. 00:06:19.48\00:06:21.36 The orphan rate is more than facility is very less. 00:06:21.39\00:06:24.60 Varma takes us to the near by slums of Bobbili 00:06:29.65\00:06:32.78 to have a look at the need for ourselves. 00:06:32.81\00:06:35.31 Unfortunately, it doesn't take long to see the need 00:06:56.87\00:07:00.37 Varma had been telling us about. 00:07:00.40\00:07:03.11 So you can see the little boy here, 00:07:03.14\00:07:04.69 he looks very anemic. 00:07:04.72\00:07:06.90 He lost his mother recently with uterus cancer. 00:07:06.93\00:07:10.17 Right now, immediately he need a sponsorship 00:07:10.20\00:07:13.04 and we need to take him to the Sunrise Home right now, 00:07:13.07\00:07:15.76 but there is no accommodation, 00:07:15.79\00:07:17.71 no place, no room in Sunrise Home. 00:07:17.74\00:07:21.91 Varma and Lolitha want to take them all in, 00:07:23.99\00:07:26.98 but they just can't. 00:07:27.01\00:07:28.83 It's hard to bear when there is so much at stake. 00:07:28.86\00:07:32.16 These children they used to roam here and there, 00:07:32.19\00:07:36.81 but where as if they come here they have to study, 00:07:36.84\00:07:39.57 they have to eat and evening they have to come. 00:07:39.60\00:07:43.08 Their life is different here. 00:07:43.11\00:07:44.84 When we are going to school, it is very difficult to walk 00:08:00.12\00:08:04.05 because many cars will come and... 00:08:04.08\00:08:07.09 it is very difficult. 00:08:09.90\00:08:11.28 I was scared while children going to school 00:08:16.92\00:08:19.57 because it's very busy road, 00:08:19.60\00:08:21.43 some motorbikes, some may hit. 00:08:21.46\00:08:23.49 Well, here we are in the town of Bobbili. 00:08:26.29\00:08:28.74 It's actually a bigger city than it looks 00:08:28.77\00:08:31.37 and every day the children have to walk right through 00:08:31.40\00:08:34.27 the middle of town to the school, it's not good. 00:08:34.30\00:08:37.36 Cramped living quarters, filthy conditions 00:08:46.93\00:08:50.28 and a dangerous walk to and from school everyday. 00:08:50.31\00:08:53.38 Sunrise Home is not living up to Asian Aid standards. 00:08:53.41\00:08:56.82 Varma and Lolitha intend to change that. 00:08:56.85\00:08:59.45 We have to do something. 00:08:59.48\00:09:01.11 I got a thought, why can't we go for the separate campus 00:09:01.14\00:09:07.77 with all facilities for the children? 00:09:07.80\00:09:09.80 The project proposal name is 00:09:09.83\00:09:11.37 long term self-sustainable and income-generating 00:09:11.40\00:09:14.60 and they already purchased 12 acres of land. 00:09:14.63\00:09:16.77 Their vision is profound, yet simple. 00:09:24.44\00:09:27.13 They want to leave the over cowered 00:09:27.16\00:09:28.56 rented building in town, 00:09:28.59\00:09:30.61 instead they want to build a sustainable home 00:09:30.64\00:09:33.35 and school that will accommodate their kids 00:09:33.38\00:09:36.41 and the hundreds of other children 00:09:36.44\00:09:37.82 in need in this area for years to come. 00:09:37.85\00:09:40.32 But buying and running 12 acre project is not easy. 00:09:40.35\00:09:44.26 There are ownership issues to contend with, 00:09:44.29\00:09:47.34 as well as issues installing a clean water supply, 00:09:47.37\00:09:50.28 maximizing crops, not to mention 00:09:50.31\00:09:52.58 raising the fund to do all this. 00:09:52.61\00:09:54.22 That's very encouraging they have 00:09:54.25\00:09:56.04 a leader and his wife who not only care for these children 00:09:56.07\00:09:59.88 but they've got a plan for the future. 00:09:59.91\00:10:02.72 Despite the challenges, as we get ready to leave, 00:10:02.75\00:10:05.61 we feel good about what can happen here. 00:10:05.64\00:10:07.43 Bye. Bye, Lolitha. 00:10:09.66\00:10:11.09 And we are excited to see 00:10:11.12\00:10:12.41 what will take shape over the coming months. 00:10:12.44\00:10:14.39 We head to Asian Aid's other schools 00:10:18.43\00:10:19.94 and development projects. 00:10:19.97\00:10:22.25 We visit the town of Jeypore in the mountain region of Orissa. 00:10:22.28\00:10:26.37 Here Asian Aid shows us what is possible 00:10:26.40\00:10:28.57 with the clear vision and lot of dedication. 00:10:28.60\00:10:32.31 Starting from nothing in this remote mountain area, 00:10:32.34\00:10:35.22 Asian Aid worked with key partners 00:10:35.25\00:10:37.41 to build a boarding school that houses 00:10:37.44\00:10:39.01 and educates over 700 children. 00:10:39.04\00:10:42.15 Children who now have a much greater chance 00:10:42.18\00:10:44.56 at succeeding in life. 00:10:44.59\00:10:46.95 After almost two months, 00:11:02.82\00:11:04.39 we head back to the new land. 00:11:04.42\00:11:06.80 This thriving corn crop is Asian Aid's 00:11:06.83\00:11:09.39 first big step towards the self sustainable, 00:11:09.42\00:11:11.89 an income generating Sunrise Home. 00:11:11.92\00:11:15.51 Jim and Helen are both insistent 00:11:15.54\00:11:17.32 that the kids see the land. 00:11:17.35\00:11:18.64 On the way, it's hard to know 00:11:22.74\00:11:24.30 who is more excited, the kids or Lolitha and Varma. 00:11:24.33\00:11:27.44 Sometime they may feel they are hopeless in this world. 00:11:30.68\00:11:34.53 If we have our own home I don't need to send anyone. 00:11:34.56\00:11:38.97 I can keep the children with me 00:11:39.00\00:11:41.16 and they can continue their education here. 00:11:41.19\00:11:43.80 I'm praying today, I'm praying today 00:11:43.83\00:11:48.49 In Jesus Christ I'm praying today 00:11:48.52\00:11:53.35 This is Sunrise land? This is Sunrise land. 00:12:01.76\00:12:04.94 From here the whole-- 00:12:04.97\00:12:06.44 this from here are the Sunrise land. 00:12:06.47\00:12:08.93 I think it looks excellent. 00:12:08.96\00:12:10.57 It's just phenomenal, 00:12:10.60\00:12:11.65 how we were here what two months ago? 00:12:11.68\00:12:14.29 Two months ago nothing was there. 00:12:14.32\00:12:15.85 And nothing was here and this is the-- 00:12:15.88\00:12:17.80 really this is the vision happening. 00:12:17.83\00:12:19.74 This is the first stage of the reality of the vision. 00:12:19.77\00:12:23.56 Where they are at now they have no place to play, 00:12:28.65\00:12:31.60 they are just basically stuck inside the orphanage. 00:12:31.63\00:12:35.64 So out here they have plenty of place to play, 00:12:35.67\00:12:38.86 there's lots of land, there's a rive they can go in 00:12:38.89\00:12:42.76 and I just think it's gonna be 00:12:42.79\00:12:43.93 a whole new life for these children 00:12:43.96\00:12:45.80 and a whole new experience 00:12:45.83\00:12:47.11 and I'm really pleased with what we have done. 00:12:47.14\00:12:49.78 Okay, ready, steady, go. 00:12:49.81\00:12:51.80 I saw their happiness while they are playing. 00:13:06.27\00:13:09.88 I too felt happy and I too played for sometime. 00:13:09.91\00:13:14.28 We had a nice time yesterday. 00:13:14.31\00:13:16.80 It's been pretty emotional to see these kids are happy. 00:13:16.83\00:13:20.17 And it will be another 100 children we can have like this. 00:13:20.20\00:13:23.33 So today has been the most emotional for me. 00:13:23.36\00:13:27.12 As filmmakers, we tried to stay objective. 00:13:35.16\00:13:38.77 But knowing that Hannah and Rosey 00:13:38.80\00:13:41.29 and the others have dreams 00:13:41.32\00:13:43.15 as big as any kids in the world. 00:13:43.18\00:13:45.82 It's hard not to be excited of what's possible here. 00:13:45.85\00:13:48.89 When I first came to India now around 32 years ago, 00:14:13.35\00:14:16.75 they were two things that really struck me. 00:14:16.78\00:14:19.37 The first one was the need for food and clothing 00:14:19.40\00:14:23.36 and accommodation for children 00:14:23.39\00:14:25.33 living way below the poverty line. 00:14:25.36\00:14:27.56 The second thing was the amazing potential 00:14:27.59\00:14:30.31 that these boys and girls have 00:14:30.34\00:14:32.22 to make a difference in the world 00:14:32.25\00:14:34.39 and the only thing missing was the need 00:14:34.42\00:14:37.30 for people like you to help. 00:14:37.33\00:14:39.37 With sponsorship you can make a difference 00:14:39.40\00:14:42.56 in the life of a child everyday. 00:14:42.59\00:14:44.98 We've been on the road for a month now, 00:15:16.07\00:15:18.55 from the rural valleys of India 00:15:18.58\00:15:20.48 up to the foothills of the Himalayas. 00:15:20.51\00:15:23.17 Now we are headed back to India. 00:15:23.20\00:15:25.05 Only this time, into one of the poorest 00:15:25.08\00:15:27.51 neighborhoods in the country. 00:15:27.54\00:15:28.72 This is the Vishakhapatnam know as Vizag, 00:15:39.94\00:15:43.24 located on the Bay of Bengal on the east coast of India. 00:15:43.27\00:15:46.04 Only 20 miles form these peaceful Bengal beaches, 00:15:53.78\00:15:57.57 seemed half a world away. 00:15:57.60\00:15:58.91 We are following Asian Aid's Helen Eager 00:16:27.82\00:16:30.57 through the heart of Vizag, 00:16:30.60\00:16:32.25 to a street only people who live there would want to visit. 00:16:32.28\00:16:35.46 Well, we are right here in the middle of the slums. 00:17:01.09\00:17:04.14 We are in the city of Vizag which is on the east coast. 00:17:04.17\00:17:07.49 There's about 10,000 people 00:17:07.52\00:17:09.21 who live cramped in this area in 10x8 rooms, 00:17:09.24\00:17:13.72 5 to 10 to a room, most people are unemployed, 00:17:13.75\00:17:17.23 there's a large number of prostitution. 00:17:17.26\00:17:20.06 The area, the street was in a very bad condition. 00:17:20.09\00:17:24.21 The prostitution and robberies and other things, gambling 00:17:24.24\00:17:28.17 and the police will come and take them away 00:17:28.20\00:17:30.66 and the children will be suffering a lot. 00:17:30.69\00:17:34.28 The children don't know what life is. 00:17:34.31\00:17:36.32 They don't know what father's love is 00:17:36.35\00:17:38.87 and they don't know mother's love also. 00:17:38.90\00:17:41.58 At the end of this long, dirt and grind filled path 00:17:43.40\00:17:46.34 is a narrow three storey building, 00:17:46.37\00:17:49.10 not a beautiful site, but it's the only hope 00:17:49.13\00:17:51.82 that these kids have for better life. 00:17:51.85\00:17:53.74 When we first were asked to support this school, 00:18:04.71\00:18:07.64 they said this was an area for criminals and prostitutes, 00:18:07.67\00:18:11.83 was the message that we got. 00:18:11.86\00:18:13.89 But right here in the middle of this mess is a school 00:18:13.92\00:18:17.99 that we have been running for a number of years 00:18:18.02\00:18:21.35 and inside the school 00:18:21.38\00:18:22.77 there's over 100 bright cheery children. 00:18:22.80\00:18:26.43 Thank you, teacher. Thank you, teacher. 00:18:26.46\00:18:29.31 As you can understand running a school 00:18:31.53\00:18:33.43 in this environment is not easy. 00:18:33.46\00:18:36.05 I mean, it's right on the frontline of need of poverty. 00:18:36.08\00:18:39.68 The teachers and myself has to play an important role 00:18:41.09\00:18:44.83 because these children are not ordinary children. 00:18:44.86\00:18:47.02 Most of the children are coming from a poor background, 00:18:51.27\00:18:54.47 not only poverty but also the families 00:18:54.50\00:18:58.05 are all broken up families. 00:18:58.08\00:19:00.81 You told us that some of these women 00:19:00.84\00:19:02.96 who are working as prostitutes 00:19:02.99\00:19:04.69 are living just opposite the school. 00:19:04.72\00:19:07.13 And you said that sometimes the men's come there 00:19:07.16\00:19:10.62 and make bookings in the morning 00:19:10.65\00:19:13.57 and then in the evening they go somewhere with the men. 00:19:13.60\00:19:17.91 All these people are prostitutes 00:19:17.94\00:19:20.17 and they have to do that 00:19:20.20\00:19:21.71 because there's no other source of life 00:19:21.74\00:19:23.46 because no education for the parents. 00:19:23.49\00:19:25.57 What is she saying? 00:19:39.49\00:19:40.61 My husband is not a good man, he's not supporting the family. 00:19:40.64\00:19:44.53 I have three children. 00:19:44.56\00:19:45.81 I don't have education and so I have to do this work, 00:19:45.84\00:19:49.86 recently I started. 00:19:49.89\00:19:51.92 Sarojini's daughter Mary has a crippling bone condition. 00:19:55.88\00:19:59.33 Anyhow I want to get my daughter cured. 00:20:04.49\00:20:07.46 By doing anything, I want her to be cured, 00:20:07.49\00:20:10.52 but the money I'm getting is not sufficient for her cure. 00:20:10.55\00:20:15.72 Take the second bit and third bit as your homework. 00:20:18.49\00:20:22.96 This little girls name is Mary Manju. 00:20:22.99\00:20:25.18 Her mother is Sarojini and she was telling us 00:20:25.21\00:20:28.04 how she really struggles to be able to afford, 00:20:28.07\00:20:32.02 to buy the medicines and the proper 00:20:32.05\00:20:34.72 health care that Mary needs. 00:20:34.75\00:20:36.88 Her own sister ran way. 00:21:25.00\00:21:26.37 Because he is my own brother-in-law, 00:21:30.11\00:21:32.06 my sister's husband, so I came forward. 00:21:32.09\00:21:34.63 She started looking after this child. 00:21:34.66\00:21:38.96 And nobody forced her to come forward? 00:21:38.99\00:21:40.97 She came willingly to serve. 00:21:44.61\00:21:47.19 Manga is only 24 years old. 00:21:47.22\00:21:50.03 She can go and select a good man to be her partner 00:21:50.06\00:21:54.52 but she in spite of all that, 00:21:54.55\00:21:56.00 she refused all the good things in life 00:21:56.03\00:21:59.11 and she sacrificed and came forward. 00:21:59.14\00:22:01.53 She's really a noble person. 00:22:01.56\00:22:04.27 In order to feed them, 00:22:04.30\00:22:05.77 she has to go outside and earn like this prostitution. 00:22:05.80\00:22:11.49 These kind of children are finding 00:22:23.86\00:22:26.43 great peace and love in our school. 00:22:26.46\00:22:30.88 They need love and affection. 00:22:30.91\00:22:33.60 Education comes next, first thing they need love. 00:22:33.63\00:22:37.21 This school shows light to many children 00:22:41.27\00:22:44.38 who are greatly in need of love and affection, 00:22:44.41\00:22:47.59 so that at least these children when they grow up, 00:22:47.62\00:22:51.11 they will not be like their parents, 00:22:51.14\00:22:53.51 they can live better life. 00:22:53.54\00:22:55.92 I think the school that is here is really been a light 00:22:55.95\00:22:59.39 for this community and there are many children 00:22:59.42\00:23:02.17 who have really blossomed 00:23:02.20\00:23:03.51 and really have wonderful opportunity to do something 00:23:03.54\00:23:06.88 with their lives because of this school. 00:23:06.91\00:23:10.46 I just would hate to see it get closed. 00:23:10.49\00:23:13.08 It just makes me very angry to think 00:23:13.11\00:23:15.67 that people would in anyway try to disadvantage 00:23:15.70\00:23:20.06 the people that are here 00:23:20.09\00:23:22.03 and they have already been disadvantaged so much. 00:23:22.06\00:23:24.39 And these people you could say, as the Bible calls them 00:23:53.18\00:23:56.77 "the least of least" but Jesus especially care 00:23:56.80\00:23:59.91 about the "least of these" and that care He has given to you 00:23:59.94\00:24:03.17 so that you are willing to be here 00:24:03.20\00:24:04.85 and to work for these children. 00:24:04.88\00:24:08.51 In our western countries I think we really have no idea 00:24:08.54\00:24:12.52 what it would be like to be born into a family 00:24:12.55\00:24:15.46 that lived in an area like this and to hear stories 00:24:15.49\00:24:18.81 such as Sarojini's where she is having to work as a prostitute. 00:24:18.84\00:24:24.21 It would be wonderful if we could have some adult literacy 00:24:24.24\00:24:26.71 as well as some other training programs 00:24:26.74\00:24:29.30 for ladies such in this area. 00:24:29.33\00:24:31.37 She want to stitch blouses. 00:24:35.88\00:24:37.54 She is learning tailoring it seams. 00:24:42.27\00:24:44.06 Manga and Sarojini want a better life for their children. 00:24:48.24\00:24:51.63 They are seeking literacy in work training programs, 00:24:51.66\00:24:54.30 that is not that easy to come by here. 00:24:54.33\00:24:56.98 But above all, they know that it is really the school 00:24:57.01\00:25:00.04 that can help their kids out of poverty, 00:25:00.07\00:25:02.52 and give them that chance and a better life. 00:25:02.55\00:25:04.73 It's a challenge to build a bridge of trust 00:25:12.67\00:25:14.61 and hope in this environment. 00:25:14.64\00:25:18.04 But we left seeing that is exactly 00:25:18.07\00:25:20.28 what this little school is doing. 00:25:20.31\00:25:22.60 It's giving the people of this community 00:25:22.63\00:25:24.60 the thing they need most, "hope." 00:25:24.63\00:25:27.08 The reality is we have to help these kids. 00:25:49.91\00:25:52.53 These are 120 kids in here, if we don't help them now, 00:25:52.56\00:25:56.69 will be down on that street. 00:25:56.72\00:25:58.69 This is not a school we can be proud of physically, 00:25:58.72\00:26:02.90 but for the kids it's what we do. 00:26:02.93\00:26:05.76 We have to give them some hope 00:26:05.79\00:26:07.79 because if they cross the street 00:26:07.82\00:26:09.11 when they leave the school there is no hope 00:26:09.14\00:26:12.08 and I need your support right now 00:26:12.11\00:26:14.26 to try and give these kids some hope. 00:26:14.29\00:26:16.08 Currently at the Vizianagaram school 00:27:58.95\00:28:00.51 there are 19 Asian Aid sponsored students. 00:28:00.54\00:28:03.42 They sleep on the floor and they share one bathroom 00:28:03.45\00:28:05.78 with all the other students on the campus. 00:28:05.81\00:28:08.00 When my church family heard about this need 00:28:08.03\00:28:10.11 they raised funds to make this campus 00:28:10.14\00:28:12.21 a better place for the students. 00:28:12.24\00:28:14.01 There's a constant need for donations by individuals, 00:28:14.04\00:28:17.76 churches, organizations. 00:28:17.79\00:28:19.46 To assist Asian Aid with these many special projects, 00:28:19.49\00:28:22.39 join me would you, in making the difference? 00:28:22.42\00:28:24.84
