Our guest is Rob. 00:00:57.01\00:00:59.37 McClintock he's written a book entitled 00:00:59.38\00:01:02.12 "God's Healing Leaves" it's about herbs. 00:01:02.13\00:01:05.18 Welcome and tell us a little bit what are herbs 00:01:06.02\00:01:08.45 and why should we be interested in them. 00:01:08.46\00:01:10.10 Well, thank you Don, herbs are very interesting 00:01:10.38\00:01:12.81 topic and in recent time they've come to 00:01:12.82\00:01:15.10 the forefront of a lot of people's attention 00:01:15.11\00:01:18.50 you know we have the savory herbs in the kitchen 00:01:19.36\00:01:21.12 but then we have the medicinal herbs and 00:01:21.13\00:01:22.98 those are the ones people are focusing on today. 00:01:22.99\00:01:25.16 You know generations past people were very 00:01:26.76\00:01:28.98 interested and then all most every mother, 00:01:28.99\00:01:31.36 almost every grandmother understood 00:01:31.37\00:01:33.68 how to care of at least some forms of illnesses 00:01:33.69\00:01:37.09 using you know the traditional plants 00:01:37.10\00:01:38.88 of the field. Today there is a new interest, 00:01:38.89\00:01:41.96 I think the reason that went away you know along 00:01:43.28\00:01:45.45 came people like Salk and Fleming and you know 00:01:45.46\00:01:48.85 the new the vaccinations and the new 00:01:48.86\00:01:50.82 wonder drugs and we are able to control a lot of 00:01:50.83\00:01:53.08 disease through those means. 00:01:53.09\00:01:54.73 Today people are beginning to look 00:01:55.86\00:01:58.04 for some people called Bio-friendly Alternatives 00:01:58.05\00:02:02.05 and not without reason because some of the 00:02:03.28\00:02:06.99 innovative processes that standard medicine 00:02:07.91\00:02:10.55 has today, you know sometimes there are 00:02:10.56\00:02:12.58 some problems with those and you know last year 00:02:12.59\00:02:14.89 in the media one of the major newspapers put 00:02:14.90\00:02:16.93 out a report that each year America 2.2 million 00:02:16.94\00:02:20.34 Americans have a drug interaction problem 00:02:20.35\00:02:23.27 between two medications that they're taking. 00:02:23.28\00:02:25.23 You know that's they concern to some people 00:02:27.13\00:02:28.46 and more recent report that they were read 00:02:28.47\00:02:30.30 the other day one out of three hundred patients 00:02:30.31\00:02:32.55 on one singular medicine has a reaction to that 00:02:33.40\00:02:37.14 particular medicine and sometimes even a violent 00:02:37.15\00:02:39.37 critical reactions somebody's even 00:02:39.38\00:02:41.18 causing death. You know that's type of things 00:02:41.19\00:02:43.64 is picked up by the public and they begin to become 00:02:43.65\00:02:45.70 alarmed and they begin to feel well the plants 00:02:45.71\00:02:48.19 of the field are more friendly they're more 00:02:48.20\00:02:50.31 gentle, they're safer, that's the route 00:02:50.32\00:02:52.53 I want to go because I'm afraid to these 00:02:52.54\00:02:54.31 other things, and you know there is an up 00:02:54.32\00:02:56.72 and downside all of these things. 00:02:56.73\00:02:58.35 Yeah I mean just listen you talk and knowing 00:02:59.44\00:03:02.35 something about what they do with these 00:03:02.36\00:03:03.54 medicines that then comedown to the 00:03:03.55\00:03:05.44 consumer you know the Federal FDA they test 00:03:05.45\00:03:09.26 these things the have research that goes over 00:03:09.27\00:03:12.46 many, many different subjects before they ever 00:03:12.47\00:03:14.31 would release something and so my question 00:03:14.32\00:03:17.24 would be aren't they were risk that are associated 00:03:17.25\00:03:19.90 with herbs? They're certainly are and 00:03:19.91\00:03:23.97 with herbs I think that people want to use them 00:03:23.98\00:03:26.57 in their healthcare program personally I think 00:03:27.18\00:03:29.27 that before they begin to use them they need 00:03:29.28\00:03:31.75 to begin with some education and I personally 00:03:31.76\00:03:34.78 felt a great deal of distress you know quite 00:03:35.56\00:03:37.79 a number of years ago as I begin to develop 00:03:37.80\00:03:39.58 my own personal interest in trying to find reliable 00:03:39.59\00:03:43.29 information I would read six different books 00:03:43.30\00:03:46.39 and I would get six different opinions 00:03:46.40\00:03:48.01 with you know six different sets of 00:03:48.02\00:03:49.55 conflicting information was very, very hard 00:03:49.56\00:03:52.77 for me to understand you know how they worked 00:03:52.78\00:03:56.77 or if they worked. And in the period that all plants 00:03:56.78\00:03:58.96 did everything you know every plant of the field 00:03:58.97\00:04:00.91 was a Panacea. In recent times you will notice 00:04:00.92\00:04:05.71 that both non-traditionalist and 00:04:05.72\00:04:07.80 traditionalist in medical field are all looking 00:04:07.81\00:04:10.34 to the plants, you know every year we have 00:04:10.35\00:04:13.28 a tremendous amount of research you know chemist, 00:04:13.29\00:04:15.61 biochemist and botanist discover and study a 00:04:15.62\00:04:19.62 lot of plants or beginning to see modern medicine 00:04:19.63\00:04:22.85 use lot of plant medicine. But again education 00:04:22.86\00:04:27.07 is very, very important because you can't hurt 00:04:27.08\00:04:29.39 yourself for some of these plants so what can 00:04:29.40\00:04:31.41 we do to first of all I mean what kind of plants 00:04:31.42\00:04:34.64 that we use and I mean I would know what to do, 00:04:34.65\00:04:37.81 I go out in my backyard there is 10, 00:04:37.82\00:04:40.02 15 different types of plants how do I know 00:04:40.03\00:04:42.02 what to use and how do I know what not to use. 00:04:42.03\00:04:44.88 Okay, those are very, very valid questions and 00:04:46.04\00:04:48.34 their questions that you know the consumer 00:04:48.35\00:04:50.26 needs specifically to ask themselves and to ask 00:04:51.12\00:04:54.14 other people. The reason that I wrote that book 00:04:54.15\00:04:56.99 was because there was so much misinformation 00:04:57.00\00:04:59.52 it's not because I'm America's number one Guru 00:04:59.53\00:05:02.08 in plant medicine today there are so many 00:05:02.09\00:05:04.84 people who know you know a lot more then 00:05:04.85\00:05:06.64 what I do know about it. But I tried to compile 00:05:06.65\00:05:09.47 information that was safe you need to understand, 00:05:09.48\00:05:13.17 understand the some extend the chemical 00:05:13.18\00:05:15.10 constituents of the plant, what it does, 00:05:15.11\00:05:18.16 what it doesn't do you know how to reflex 00:05:18.17\00:05:20.15 to human physiology there are courses, 00:05:20.16\00:05:23.16 correspondence courses many communities 00:05:23.17\00:05:25.42 have people who will teach those courses, 00:05:25.43\00:05:28.40 you can buy some of the newer books in the book 00:05:28.93\00:05:31.35 stores today, actually have some real information, 00:05:31.36\00:05:34.69 you know the older books you know like 00:05:34.70\00:05:36.47 Cay Pepper Herbal and some of these you know 00:05:36.48\00:05:38.54 from prior centuries they were involved more 00:05:38.55\00:05:41.93 in superstition and they were in actual you know 00:05:41.94\00:05:45.53 biochemical understanding. So, while you're talking 00:05:45.54\00:05:49.63 about as education and getting the grasp of 00:05:49.64\00:05:53.00 basic principles and then figuring out what these 00:05:53.01\00:05:56.44 plants do is there, is there any real uniformity 00:05:56.45\00:06:00.30 though even at this point you're saying hey 00:06:00.31\00:06:03.04 there is all kinds of different books but how 00:06:03.05\00:06:05.66 can someone have a real level of comfort knowing 00:06:05.67\00:06:10.05 hey before I take this plant I know what's going 00:06:10.06\00:06:13.24 to happened. Well, today's books that books that 00:06:13.25\00:06:16.65 have been written and say in the last five years 00:06:16.66\00:06:18.60 are certainly more reliable then the ones that 00:06:18.61\00:06:20.44 were written at the turn of the century and 00:06:20.45\00:06:22.90 you know in through in decades you know 00:06:24.23\00:06:28.55 of course as an author I would like to always 00:06:28.56\00:06:30.46 feel like my book has you know all of the strengths 00:06:30.96\00:06:33.09 and it has some strengths and some weaknesses 00:06:33.10\00:06:35.00 as well. But I like to find books that have some 00:06:35.01\00:06:41.25 sided research in them when I actually put my, 00:06:41.26\00:06:43.91 this book actually came as compilation of my 00:06:44.42\00:06:46.22 lecture notes from seminars that I were teach 00:06:46.23\00:06:48.05 around the world. And people would say 00:06:48.06\00:06:49.99 I want your lecture notes and so I crunched 00:06:50.00\00:06:53.03 into a book but you will find a lot of book 00:06:53.04\00:06:55.18 in the shelf today where you can actually 00:06:55.19\00:06:57.27 find where they say clinical research. 00:06:57.28\00:06:59.20 The books that say you should use a plant because 00:07:00.76\00:07:03.31 it shape like a heart, in that heart shape plant 00:07:03.32\00:07:05.77 will be good for your heart and this plant that 00:07:05.78\00:07:08.25 is furry that will good for your hair and these 00:07:08.26\00:07:11.06 types of books you know really, 00:07:11.07\00:07:12.27 truly those were things that are there out. 00:07:12.28\00:07:14.76 So, are you saying to me I mean if I'm looking 00:07:15.44\00:07:17.11 into this and I wanna start using plants 00:07:17.12\00:07:19.03 I should first of all if the book is not written 00:07:19.04\00:07:22.05 within the last five years or so and then 00:07:22.06\00:07:25.17 avoiding these other things within a book even 00:07:25.18\00:07:27.35 if it has been written within the last five years 00:07:27.36\00:07:29.28 that's a good way in terms of looking at resources. 00:07:29.29\00:07:31.58 How can someone get help who can they talk to 00:07:35.22\00:07:38.31 I don't think I would go down the street to 00:07:38.32\00:07:41.02 just anybody off the street and say well you 00:07:41.03\00:07:42.94 help me with some plants and it sounds like I 00:07:42.95\00:07:46.14 need to be little worried about who I talk to 00:07:46.15\00:07:48.00 listening to what you're saying. 00:07:48.01\00:07:49.22 Well, I think that probably in this day and 00:07:50.43\00:07:53.37 age doing your own research as probably the 00:07:53.38\00:07:56.49 smartest thing you can do because if you would, 00:07:56.50\00:07:58.86 I would say well and every community there 00:07:58.87\00:08:01.10 are some lady who know something. 00:08:01.11\00:08:02.49 I founded every community have met this 00:08:02.50\00:08:04.97 people who knew something that they had 00:08:04.98\00:08:07.61 a lot of superstition mixed in a lot of old 00:08:07.62\00:08:10.64 wives tale, a lot of new age philosophies, 00:08:10.65\00:08:13.02 you know the positive and the negative influences 00:08:13.03\00:08:15.53 and these plants happen to react stronger 00:08:15.54\00:08:17.45 with the yang, and the yang, and all these types 00:08:17.46\00:08:19.08 of things you have to be scholar, 00:08:19.09\00:08:22.08 you have to be a student you know just like 00:08:22.09\00:08:23.76 with the Bible you know I, you could say well where 00:08:23.77\00:08:26.41 could I go to find good information on the Bible. 00:08:26.42\00:08:28.40 Well, there is a ton of people out there who claim 00:08:29.09\00:08:30.57 they have good information on the Bible. 00:08:30.58\00:08:32.05 Well we've to be scholars in our own right, 00:08:32.69\00:08:34.13 we have to, to understand a couple of rules that 00:08:34.14\00:08:36.98 I would say as you're evaluating whether 00:08:36.99\00:08:38.77 or not the information is credible. 00:08:38.78\00:08:40.26 I would like to see that it has some association 00:08:41.27\00:08:43.51 perhaps with some clinical research, trials. 00:08:43.52\00:08:45.79 I would like to see some, some lists of chemical 00:08:46.76\00:08:49.15 constituents so that if you have any chemistry 00:08:49.16\00:08:51.62 background or any physics or any you know 00:08:51.63\00:08:53.92 Anatomy Physiology you can understand how 00:08:53.93\00:08:56.72 these chemicals will react with the body. 00:08:56.73\00:08:58.90 The plant should be this information about the 00:09:00.76\00:09:03.60 plant should be specific about it's use 00:09:03.61\00:09:05.49 and not wake, one of the things that I, 00:09:05.50\00:09:07.35 I detested about some of the books that I had 00:09:07.36\00:09:09.52 in my library one time. As you would pick it up 00:09:09.53\00:09:11.70 and it seems like any plant would work with any 00:09:11.71\00:09:14.60 condition, I like to see some specificity with 00:09:14.61\00:09:16.94 all of the plants and one of the final things 00:09:16.95\00:09:20.89 that I felt like needed to be addressed was 00:09:20.90\00:09:23.20 dosage levels. The books, most of the books you 00:09:23.92\00:09:27.23 pick up today do not address you know maximum 00:09:27.24\00:09:31.48 or minimum dosage levels and a practical 00:09:31.49\00:09:33.87 experience level. So, addressing how much you 00:09:33.88\00:09:37.32 get from certain plant and how can you really come up 00:09:37.33\00:09:40.49 with that I mean let's say you know I grow 00:09:40.50\00:09:42.82 my plants in my backyard and they have more 00:09:42.83\00:09:45.44 chemicals in the earth there it seems to not 00:09:45.45\00:09:47.25 be as depleted as where you live or vice versa 00:09:47.26\00:09:50.01 how can you really get a handle on what the 00:09:50.53\00:09:52.21 dosage is have been a given plant. 00:09:52.22\00:09:53.86 That's a real credible challenge and all people 00:09:54.59\00:09:57.08 who work in the field are faced with that you 00:09:57.09\00:10:00.48 will notice that and say some of the health food 00:10:00.49\00:10:02.38 stores as today that we're beginning to see 00:10:02.39\00:10:04.90 plants coming out in a form called Standardized 00:10:04.91\00:10:07.98 Extracts like you know the same John's word 00:10:07.99\00:10:09.93 that everybody is taken through the clinical 00:10:09.94\00:10:11.63 depression today. The rule of some of the 00:10:11.64\00:10:14.92 industry today is a 3 percent standardized 00:10:14.93\00:10:17.20 extract where they actually take to plant 00:10:17.21\00:10:18.96 into you know a lab and they crunch out the 00:10:18.97\00:10:22.42 chemical constituent and it's measurable that's 00:10:22.43\00:10:25.58 probably in touching situation maybe little 00:10:25.59\00:10:30.13 better way to go. But you know there are 00:10:30.14\00:10:33.16 a lot of plants in probably in your yard and 00:10:33.17\00:10:36.67 your neighborhood that's you could use 00:10:36.68\00:10:38.29 you know fairly safely. We find that within 00:10:38.30\00:10:44.16 pharmaceuticals you have precise amounts 00:10:44.17\00:10:46.55 of milligrams or micrograms associated 00:10:46.56\00:10:49.64 with the particular chemicals in the plants 00:10:49.65\00:10:52.48 the chemical constituent dosage levels are 00:10:52.49\00:10:56.19 not as intends or as strong and so you're 00:10:56.20\00:11:00.19 margarine between your minimum and your 00:11:00.20\00:11:02.88 maximum dosage levels is quite broad so you 00:11:02.89\00:11:06.12 know if you're in the middle of the road there 00:11:06.13\00:11:08.74 is you know a pretty slim chance that you will 00:11:08.75\00:11:10.89 ever hurt yourself. Okay, so another words 00:11:10.90\00:11:14.77 it usually as not as potentially dangerous 00:11:14.78\00:11:17.38 unless you were eat something like poison 00:11:17.39\00:11:19.29 ivy inwardly, and I will imagine that looking 00:11:19.30\00:11:22.80 for these plants and identifying them as 00:11:22.81\00:11:25.05 another big thing if you're going to actually 00:11:25.06\00:11:26.90 be harvesting the plant yourself and, 00:11:26.91\00:11:29.77 and growing them and what not let me ask 00:11:29.78\00:11:33.02 you another question now you know we've talk 00:11:33.03\00:11:34.50 a little bit about the theory and it seems 00:11:34.51\00:11:38.30 though you've gotten involved in this and 00:11:38.31\00:11:40.39 given seminars around the country written 00:11:40.40\00:11:42.67 the book have a web page all those different 00:11:42.68\00:11:44.28 kind of things so you're up on these things, 00:11:44.29\00:11:46.94 things on your finger tips oh let say I have like 00:11:46.95\00:11:49.56 a chest cold or a head cold how do I know 00:11:49.57\00:11:53.07 what to do right then normally I'd grab for 00:11:53.99\00:11:56.03 some Tylenol, I'd grab for some you know 00:11:56.04\00:11:59.05 Antihistamine or whatever to take away some 00:11:59.06\00:12:02.52 of those symptoms what do I do when I have 00:12:02.53\00:12:03.99 a symptom how do I know what to do? 00:12:04.00\00:12:05.45 Well, you know from your clinical background 00:12:06.57\00:12:09.01 you use to the terminology and I think 00:12:09.02\00:12:12.09 all of this need to some extent we use to the 00:12:12.10\00:12:14.51 terminology and in plants a good book plant 00:12:14.52\00:12:19.34 medicine books will say this plant work as a 00:12:19.35\00:12:22.31 decongestant, this plant work as antihistamine. 00:12:22.32\00:12:25.00 You know this plant will work as an Expectorant, 00:12:26.67\00:12:29.30 this one is an Anti-Inflammatory, 00:12:30.48\00:12:32.22 this one mimics you know steroids that types 00:12:33.15\00:12:35.51 of thing, all of that type of information 00:12:35.52\00:12:37.62 is very useful as we study the plants to 00:12:37.63\00:12:39.96 find out that they, are plants to, 00:12:39.97\00:12:42.17 will fall into same categories as the 00:12:42.18\00:12:44.57 other types of medications that 00:12:44.58\00:12:45.85 we're use to and we can use this you know 00:12:45.86\00:12:48.77 bio-friendly forms in place of these things with 00:12:48.78\00:12:53.38 compare to these. Okay, so we have this idea 00:12:53.39\00:12:57.68 of what they do and how and why but again 00:12:57.69\00:13:00.50 back now I have cold what do I do, 00:13:00.51\00:13:02.81 what are the steps I go through to, 00:13:02.82\00:13:04.35 to get to that plant that I'm gonna be chopping 00:13:04.36\00:13:07.03 on in a few minutes. I guess where you can 00:20:22.40\00:20:27.00 help us as knowing what to mix with what when, 00:20:27.01\00:20:29.92 because you know this is not something that 00:20:30.84\00:20:33.41 we normally would know how to do and probably 00:20:34.00\00:20:36.11 would be afraid to do it mixing several 00:20:36.12\00:20:38.03 different things, correct together. 00:20:38.04\00:20:39.63 And any pointers on that, that you would give us 00:20:41.33\00:20:44.33 and then secondly how long you've set this would 00:20:45.22\00:20:47.73 clear up quite rapidly but what does that mean. 00:20:47.74\00:20:51.20 Well, with most of the cases of these types 00:20:52.19\00:20:54.92 of coughs and bronchitis's that 00:20:54.93\00:20:56.45 we've seen in the last five years that usually 00:20:56.46\00:20:58.70 clears it up in just a matter of a few days. 00:20:58.71\00:21:01.20 I guess bronchitis or flu bug right now seems 00:21:02.97\00:21:05.41 to be the plague of the day as we're speaking 00:21:05.42\00:21:08.06 you know we both came in airplanes and 00:21:08.07\00:21:10.62 I think the airplanes are vibrate in from 00:21:10.63\00:21:12.53 everybody hacking them. You know, 00:21:12.54\00:21:14.04 God bless us I hope we survive the contamination 00:21:14.63\00:21:18.14 that we got in these things, but you know 00:21:18.15\00:21:23.02 a few days probably you should see a major 00:21:23.03\00:21:25.43 amount of, of relief from that as far as the 00:21:25.44\00:21:28.27 combining, combining of plants can be very 00:21:28.28\00:21:30.89 complicated or it could be very simple and 00:21:30.90\00:21:33.95 I think rather then taking chances we need 00:21:33.96\00:21:36.37 to know what the plants do. 00:21:36.38\00:21:37.49 Every plant falls into a category how do I know 00:21:37.97\00:21:40.67 what I mix with what, what I don't you know 00:21:40.68\00:21:42.98 some people are afraid because they're afraid 00:21:42.99\00:21:45.05 that you know they will cause some dreadful 00:21:45.06\00:21:46.91 chemical reaction because there are chemicals 00:21:46.92\00:21:49.22 in the plants but to those people I ask them they 00:21:49.23\00:21:51.71 were eaten tossed salad well certainly they have, 00:21:51.72\00:21:53.64 they didn't explode, you know they didn't break 00:21:53.65\00:21:56.87 into flame so you know there is a fare amount 00:21:56.88\00:21:59.55 of safety in that. You know, 00:21:59.56\00:22:02.70 from being a nursing background you know 00:22:03.51\00:22:05.10 what is diaphoretic is? It makes you sweat, 00:22:05.11\00:22:07.36 makes you sweat, right, and then you take a plant 00:22:07.37\00:22:09.38 that's a refrigerant. Well, you wouldn't mix 00:22:09.39\00:22:12.02 those two together because that effect 00:22:12.03\00:22:14.69 in nothing, you need to know what category, 00:22:14.70\00:22:17.64 you need to know what plants are refrigerants 00:22:17.65\00:22:19.81 and what plants are diaphoretics and what 00:22:19.82\00:22:21.35 plants are antispasmodics, anti-inflammatory all 00:22:21.36\00:22:25.43 of those plants if you know what category 00:22:25.44\00:22:26.96 there and then you know how to apply them. 00:22:26.97\00:22:28.63 So, maybe one of the things we could say 00:22:28.64\00:22:30.23 you know it seems like a very reasoned approach 00:22:31.02\00:22:32.72 that you're say hey look at the basics first try 00:22:33.56\00:22:35.95 some simple things like fluids and all of these 00:22:35.96\00:22:38.30 and see what's happening there, 00:22:39.10\00:22:40.07 but maybe one of the other things we could say 00:22:40.83\00:22:42.09 as hey start out simple maybe take something 00:22:42.10\00:22:44.63 that helps you have a productive crops see how 00:22:44.64\00:22:49.02 that works? Then you know how that works 00:22:49.03\00:22:51.07 then adding more later as you, 00:22:51.08\00:22:53.28 as you learn more but really the fundamentals 00:22:53.99\00:22:56.34 are still there, well that be wise to say. 00:22:56.35\00:22:58.04 That's very correct you know what's you're 00:22:58.71\00:23:00.44 talking about is handling the things that you're 00:23:00.45\00:23:02.23 capable and happy with you know the last 00:23:02.24\00:23:06.25 thing you wanna do is grab a book and then raise 00:23:06.26\00:23:08.66 across the street to your neighbor who has 00:23:08.67\00:23:10.48 terminal cancer and begin to practice some new 00:23:10.49\00:23:14.06 experimental art you wanna deal with those 00:23:14.07\00:23:16.45 things that you are competed in dealing with 00:23:16.46\00:23:18.54 and then as you gain experience you will able 00:23:18.55\00:23:21.99 to you know add layer upon layer to your 00:23:22.00\00:23:25.39 experience level don't worry you can actually 00:23:25.40\00:23:27.37 become very professional and quite a number 00:23:27.38\00:23:29.68 of things. I notice here on, on the note some 00:23:29.69\00:23:33.65 of things that we looked at we may talk about 00:23:33.66\00:23:35.69 some if really gripped my attention was there 00:23:36.37\00:23:38.80 is treatments for bleeding with herbs. 00:23:38.81\00:23:41.76 And I'm wondering what that's all about how 00:23:42.72\00:23:44.45 can you treat bleeding I mean I'm picturing 00:23:44.46\00:23:46.37 someone that has, has cut their finger and 00:23:46.38\00:23:48.78 it's really bleeding really, really hard as that 00:23:48.79\00:23:51.60 what's your talking about? Correct, or we can do, 00:23:51.61\00:23:53.84 we can do internally or externally if its 00:23:53.85\00:23:57.36 internal and it's in the GI tract somewhere 00:23:57.37\00:24:00.32 I mean it's not where you've, you mean like 00:24:00.91\00:24:01.98 the stomach, yes, intestines, right, correct, 00:24:01.99\00:24:04.87 you know there is quite a number of conditions 00:24:04.88\00:24:06.80 you know ulcerative colitis, ulcers and you know 00:24:06.81\00:24:09.56 these types things sometimes there is 00:24:09.57\00:24:10.83 a number opportunities from bleeding there. 00:24:10.84\00:24:14.01 We have a couple of different plants that 00:24:14.89\00:24:16.47 are here in North America that work very 00:24:16.48\00:24:18.17 well internally and they happened to work very 00:24:18.18\00:24:20.35 well externally as well. There is one that 00:24:20.36\00:24:23.89 I know grows in this region of the country where 00:24:23.90\00:24:26.55 right outside the studio and that's a little 00:24:26.56\00:24:29.62 you know American Cranesbill, 00:24:29.63\00:24:31.74 or a Wild Geranium plant, if you're, 00:24:31.75\00:24:34.06 you know if you were bleeding you could actually 00:24:34.07\00:24:35.67 take the root or the rise on with the plant 00:24:35.68\00:24:37.87 and break that open make a T, 00:24:38.68\00:24:40.82 slid it make a quick application either 00:24:41.83\00:24:43.76 internally or externally. It has a very powerful 00:24:43.77\00:24:46.39 astringency in it and it will stop the bleeding 00:24:46.40\00:24:49.13 almost instantaneously. So, topically if you put 00:24:49.14\00:24:51.90 it on that finger its bleeding you know 00:24:51.91\00:24:53.84 it's a vessel constrictor or other words 00:24:54.43\00:24:56.31 it make those vessels to come together 00:24:56.32\00:24:58.17 as that what you're saying. 00:24:58.18\00:24:59.15 They will come together and the bleeding 00:24:59.16\00:25:00.13 will stop increases the coagulation will stop 00:25:00.14\00:25:02.38 almost instantly, the other one that some people 00:25:02.39\00:25:05.00 are little intimidated in using as the 00:25:05.01\00:25:07.02 cayenne pepper, but I have seen. 00:25:07.03\00:25:09.34 I could see why they might feel little 00:25:09.35\00:25:10.52 intimidated. I have seen so many times where 00:25:10.53\00:25:12.64 somebody is bleeding quite profusely and 00:25:12.65\00:25:14.52 you will just take a little handful a 00:25:14.53\00:25:15.70 cayenne pepper powder and just packed 00:25:15.71\00:25:17.13 in there and yes there is some sensory stimulus 00:25:17.14\00:25:20.13 there, you know something got under but 00:25:20.14\00:25:23.01 it's all lot better then bleeding. 00:25:23.02\00:25:24.18 Interesting I notice here you have other 00:25:25.34\00:25:27.39 things to treat for instance, 00:25:27.40\00:25:28.84 infection arthritis, PMS the common cold, 00:25:29.61\00:25:33.39 infected sinuses. We can get into all of those, 00:25:34.23\00:25:37.67 those different ones but in our last minute 00:25:37.68\00:25:40.82 here what advice would you have you know 00:25:40.83\00:25:43.27 people are watching now I know that they have, 00:25:43.28\00:25:45.02 they have you've perked an interest in me 00:25:45.03\00:25:48.05 and you what would you say in just summary 00:25:48.06\00:25:51.41 some principle for folks that are, are wanting 00:25:52.92\00:25:54.55 to get more into this area. 00:25:54.56\00:25:55.94 Again I think you know education is the 00:25:57.11\00:25:59.42 number one, you're first responsibility is to seek 00:25:59.43\00:26:03.86 out good information and there is a lot 00:26:03.87\00:26:06.68 of information available you can find things 00:26:06.69\00:26:08.83 on the internet. McClintock, 00:26:50.39\00:26:53.15 he's written a book "God's Healing Leaves" 00:26:53.16\00:26:55.25 and we've talked about several other theory 00:26:55.94\00:26:58.55 of herbs and we've talked about what to do 00:26:58.56\00:27:01.12 if you're not feeling well and how to really 00:27:01.90\00:27:04.34 kind a trouble shoot there. 00:27:04.35\00:27:05.63 We hope that this has been helpfully to you 00:27:06.48\00:27:08.68 today and really I hope purpose here on 00:27:08.69\00:27:11.15 Health For A Lifetime is to help you have that 00:27:11.16\00:27:13.68 Health For A Lifetime.
