Welcome to Heavens Declare. 00:00:26.12\00:00:29.52 Today, we're gonna be going into Astronomy, 00:00:29.56\00:00:32.76 from a biblical perspective, 00:00:32.79\00:00:34.13 this is the first part of that series. 00:00:34.16\00:00:36.33 And you know, 00:00:36.36\00:00:38.93 we have things that happen out there. 00:00:38.97\00:00:41.07 And people often ask, you know, there was an exploding stars, 00:00:41.10\00:00:45.31 where's God in all these? 00:00:45.34\00:00:47.51 We don't see exploding stars very often 00:00:47.54\00:00:49.91 in our Milky Way galaxy, it actually hasn't happened 00:00:49.94\00:00:52.98 since the invention of the telescope. 00:00:53.01\00:00:55.08 But we look in other parts of the universe, 00:00:55.12\00:00:58.32 other galaxies, we see it happened, 00:00:58.35\00:01:00.02 it happened quiet close to our galaxy 00:01:00.06\00:01:02.12 in what's known as the imaginary clouds. 00:01:02.16\00:01:05.06 And this was February 25, 1987, 00:01:05.09\00:01:07.60 all of a sudden there was a star, 00:01:07.63\00:01:09.23 nobody notice the night before. 00:01:09.26\00:01:11.00 And all of a sudden it was the brightest thing, 00:01:11.03\00:01:13.13 sometimes these could be actually seen in the daytime. 00:01:13.17\00:01:15.74 There was one that the Chinese made record of, 00:01:15.77\00:01:19.07 in July 4th, of 1054, a thousand years ago, 00:01:19.11\00:01:22.64 and it was in the constellation of Taurus 00:01:22.68\00:01:26.45 that is now called, known as the Crab Nebula. 00:01:26.48\00:01:29.38 Nebula is a word, basically, we have four types of Nebulae. 00:01:29.42\00:01:32.22 We have nebula that glow because they are hot, 00:01:32.25\00:01:34.52 we have nebula that glow 00:01:34.56\00:01:36.12 because they are embraced with hot stars, 00:01:36.16\00:01:38.46 we have nebula that are dark 00:01:38.49\00:01:39.83 like the horse head nebula you be seeing in this series, 00:01:39.86\00:01:42.36 then we have this exploding stars, 00:01:42.40\00:01:44.17 which they call planetary nebula. 00:01:44.20\00:01:46.74 And when, 00:01:46.77\00:01:48.97 like the one happened in July 4th, 1054, 00:01:49.00\00:01:52.17 that thing was so bright 00:01:52.21\00:01:53.91 you can see it in the daytime for many weeks. 00:01:53.94\00:01:56.38 I mean, it was huge. 00:01:56.41\00:01:57.75 And as-- 00:01:57.78\00:01:59.78 what we believe from what we see 00:01:59.81\00:02:02.38 is that the biggest stars 00:02:02.42\00:02:04.32 seem burn up their fuel and expand, 00:02:04.35\00:02:07.19 and they reach to a point like a balloon 00:02:07.22\00:02:08.86 where they cant support that shell 00:02:08.89\00:02:11.09 and then we get these big explosion. 00:02:11.13\00:02:13.19 And what's interesting it's-- 00:02:13.23\00:02:15.66 got a little illustration here that illustrates what happens, 00:02:15.70\00:02:19.77 because when these stars explode 00:02:19.80\00:02:21.47 and these gases going out 00:02:21.50\00:02:22.84 like hundreds of thousands of miles an hour, 00:02:22.87\00:02:25.21 and you can act like the Crab Nebula. 00:02:25.24\00:02:26.84 They took and played that back on a computer 00:02:26.88\00:02:29.98 a photograph that every 15 years, 00:02:30.01\00:02:31.78 played it back on a computer and verified when it happened. 00:02:31.81\00:02:34.55 But when these clouds go out, 00:02:34.58\00:02:36.55 you will see what looks like smoke rings. 00:02:36.58\00:02:38.89 Now there's always a stars remaining in the center. 00:02:38.92\00:02:41.22 But this little zero blaster 00:02:41.26\00:02:42.72 really kind of illustrates what's going on, 00:02:42.76\00:02:44.93 and you'll see smoke rings coming out, 00:02:44.96\00:02:47.30 if the camera can pick those up. 00:02:47.33\00:02:50.63 And as they go out they change and expand and change shape. 00:02:50.67\00:02:55.80 So I don't know how well the cameras 00:02:55.84\00:02:57.61 can actually pick that up but-- 00:02:57.64\00:03:01.54 and some of them actually shoot jets out. 00:03:01.58\00:03:04.41 And you'll see pictures, 00:03:04.45\00:03:06.85 and some of these pictures you'll see, 00:03:06.88\00:03:08.62 you'll see jets going out like that. 00:03:08.65\00:03:12.92 So kids love that, 00:03:12.95\00:03:14.29 but it kind of illustrates what we see 00:03:14.32\00:03:15.66 when we look out in the heaven. 00:03:15.69\00:03:17.16 So these star, some occasionally 00:03:17.19\00:03:19.43 will have this big eruption. 00:03:19.46\00:03:21.50 They called dying stars, 00:03:21.53\00:03:23.13 they called it supernovas, nova, supernovas. 00:03:23.16\00:03:25.73 What is there, you know, 00:03:25.77\00:03:27.37 how does this have to do with sin and God? 00:03:27.40\00:03:31.14 And you know, Romans 8:22 says, 00:03:31.17\00:03:34.64 the whole creation is groaning. 00:03:34.68\00:03:39.31 You know, how-- 00:03:39.35\00:03:41.52 We had the curse when Adam sin, we have many curses was... 00:03:41.55\00:03:45.45 You know, was that part of the curse? 00:03:45.49\00:03:46.92 How far do the curses go? We don't really know, do we? 00:03:46.96\00:03:49.06 We sing a song at Christmas time 00:03:49.09\00:03:50.96 as far as the curse is found. 00:03:50.99\00:03:53.46 So we don't really know 00:03:53.50\00:03:54.86 if a star explodes, what it has to do, 00:03:54.90\00:03:57.63 if that have anything to do with Romans 8:22. 00:03:57.67\00:04:01.67 The whole creation is groaning. 00:04:01.70\00:04:03.91 That goes along 00:04:03.94\00:04:05.27 with the second law of dynamics, 00:04:05.31\00:04:06.84 everything is running down. 00:04:06.88\00:04:08.71 And so that may be part. 00:04:08.74\00:04:10.85 But there's a couple of scriptures 00:04:10.88\00:04:12.21 that people have found helpful. 00:04:12.25\00:04:14.45 If you look at Psalm 102:25-26, look at Hebrews 1:11, 00:04:14.48\00:04:20.42 it says, that of all, 00:04:20.46\00:04:21.86 he laid the foundation of the earth 00:04:21.89\00:04:24.73 and the Heavens are the works of his hands. 00:04:24.76\00:04:27.36 Bible says, they shall perish. 00:04:27.40\00:04:29.56 Are the heavens are going to perish? 00:04:29.60\00:04:31.27 But God shall endure, 00:04:31.30\00:04:32.63 yea, all of them shall wax old as a garment, 00:04:32.67\00:04:35.00 as a vesture shalt thou change them. 00:04:35.04\00:04:37.57 So the Bible says, the heavens revolve, 00:04:37.61\00:04:40.31 they says that they're gonna wear out. 00:04:40.34\00:04:42.24 Now that's King James, 00:04:42.28\00:04:43.61 a vesture, this is a vesture, my jacket is a vesture. 00:04:43.65\00:04:46.58 If I were to take off, 00:04:46.61\00:04:48.85 and some stars do that repeatedly 00:04:48.88\00:04:50.92 cast off an outer shell. 00:04:50.95\00:04:52.85 And so, you know, that may have something to do with. 00:04:52.89\00:04:56.42 There is some change going on, 00:04:56.46\00:04:58.09 we don't really see it very often in our galaxy. 00:04:58.13\00:05:00.96 But looking in other galaxies 00:05:01.00\00:05:04.03 you can see, there was a pastor from New Zealand 00:05:04.07\00:05:07.67 that knew the sky so well, he can go on every night, 00:05:07.70\00:05:11.17 he can look at 100 galaxies in night 00:05:11.21\00:05:14.48 and see if there was a new star 00:05:14.51\00:05:15.84 he hasn't seen there before. 00:05:15.88\00:05:18.01 He was so, he would actually discover 00:05:18.05\00:05:19.88 about 15 of these a year, 00:05:19.91\00:05:22.48 15 supernova, and they will be brightest in the galaxy 00:05:22.52\00:05:27.02 for few months. 00:05:27.06\00:05:28.56 And in fact, he did so well 00:05:28.59\00:05:30.09 the New Zealand government 00:05:30.13\00:05:31.49 gave him a really nice 16 inch telescope. 00:05:31.53\00:05:34.26 So, we do see these events happening in the heavens 00:05:34.30\00:05:37.80 and we call them nova, supernova. 00:05:37.83\00:05:41.04 So, there's some change going on. 00:05:41.07\00:05:42.40 So, to get into our program today, 00:05:42.44\00:05:44.37 we got a picture of the moon. 00:05:44.41\00:05:46.07 And the moon is fantastic, I could spend weeks and weeks, 00:05:46.11\00:05:50.65 you know, looking at the moon. 00:05:50.68\00:05:52.95 There are so much to learn here. 00:05:52.98\00:05:54.58 Down around the right side 00:05:54.62\00:05:55.98 you can see kind of a ring of a mountains there, 00:05:56.02\00:05:58.45 and that's the, 00:05:58.49\00:06:01.46 that's part of the Apennine mountain ranges, 00:06:01.49\00:06:03.26 the whole circle there of mountains, 18,000 foot tall. 00:06:03.29\00:06:07.20 And very down around the right you see that all plain, 00:06:07.23\00:06:10.43 you come up a little further towards the bottom, 00:06:10.47\00:06:12.90 you see a little crater that's dark, 00:06:12.93\00:06:14.67 that's a Copernicus, that's going to be Plato. 00:06:14.70\00:06:17.34 That crater is about 70 miles across. 00:06:17.37\00:06:20.28 If you follow that arc around 00:06:20.31\00:06:21.91 you'll see a brightest crater there, 00:06:21.94\00:06:23.95 near the middle and that's Copernicus. 00:06:23.98\00:06:26.41 So you can study the moon, there books on it, 00:06:26.45\00:06:28.38 and you can spend a lot of time learning about the moon. 00:06:28.42\00:06:31.55 But we got another graphic showing 00:06:31.59\00:06:34.49 how the eclipses happen. 00:06:34.52\00:06:36.26 We can go to that now, and you'll see, 00:06:36.29\00:06:40.20 on the right you'll see the sun giving it's slight 00:06:40.23\00:06:42.46 and you can see the earth, 00:06:42.50\00:06:43.83 and the Moon as it goes around our earth. 00:06:43.87\00:06:46.17 And its shown there in the umbra, 00:06:46.20\00:06:48.04 in the shadow area of our earth 00:06:48.07\00:06:50.94 and then as it moves it is the penumbra, 00:06:50.97\00:06:53.11 you see it change color a little bit, brightest there. 00:06:53.14\00:06:56.51 It would change obviously. 00:06:56.54\00:06:58.01 And then if the moon gets between the sun and the earth, 00:06:58.05\00:07:00.88 and we get an eclipse of the sun. 00:07:00.92\00:07:03.25 Now there's been lot of talk about blood moons, 00:07:03.28\00:07:07.52 you know, its been all over the internet 00:07:07.56\00:07:08.92 for last couple years, 00:07:08.96\00:07:10.46 and they tried to tied with a Jewish events 00:07:10.49\00:07:13.19 and the Passover and so forth. 00:07:13.23\00:07:16.23 And you know, I don't make a big deal out of that, 00:07:16.26\00:07:19.53 I don't knock it, because I think God, 00:07:19.57\00:07:23.37 you know, may be 00:07:23.41\00:07:25.11 a way that the Lord could reach people. 00:07:25.14\00:07:28.04 Because the Bible does say, and in many scriptures it says, 00:07:28.08\00:07:30.71 the sun would be turned to darkness 00:07:30.75\00:07:32.45 and the moon to blood 00:07:32.48\00:07:33.82 before the coming of the great and dreadful day of the Lord. 00:07:33.85\00:07:38.02 That was in Joel 2:31, and then Acts 2:20, in Isaiah, 00:07:38.05\00:07:41.86 other places that talk about the moon turning to blood. 00:07:41.89\00:07:44.99 Now these events happen all the time. 00:07:45.03\00:07:47.56 We get about three a years, almost three blood moons a year 00:07:47.60\00:07:51.77 where the moon you know, it has this reddish glow to it. 00:07:51.80\00:07:56.91 Now, what's interesting, Passover's always on full moon. 00:07:56.94\00:08:01.34 So I don't put a lot of stock 00:08:01.38\00:08:02.94 in the blood moons that been going around the internet, 00:08:02.98\00:08:05.68 everybody is talking about it, 00:08:05.71\00:08:08.15 and trying to connect it with Jewish History. 00:08:08.18\00:08:11.15 You know, we see blood moons all the time, 00:08:11.19\00:08:14.06 but neither do I knock it 00:08:14.09\00:08:15.52 because I think God can certainly reach people. 00:08:15.56\00:08:18.93 What's going on, what's the blood moon think? 00:08:18.96\00:08:21.03 And God can use that to reach people. 00:08:21.06\00:08:24.27 On the other hand, I believe that we're going to see 00:08:24.30\00:08:28.70 a more spectacular manifestation 00:08:28.74\00:08:31.11 that when the scripted talks about 00:08:31.14\00:08:32.47 the moon turning into blood, 00:08:32.51\00:08:33.84 it's not going to be for few more minutes, 00:08:33.88\00:08:35.21 I think its gonna be 00:08:35.24\00:08:36.58 much more spectacular than that as we get to the end of time. 00:08:36.61\00:08:40.12 Our next graphic is of the sun, and it's good for us to see 00:08:40.15\00:08:44.29 how small our earth is compared to the sun. 00:08:44.32\00:08:48.26 We can put, actually a million earths would fit in the sun, 00:08:48.29\00:08:51.36 and Jupiter, you can put about 00:08:51.39\00:08:53.80 1, 300 Jupiter's would fit in the sun. 00:08:53.83\00:08:57.73 So our sun is really, 00:08:57.77\00:08:59.70 our earth is really pretty small 00:08:59.73\00:09:01.40 compared to the sun. 00:09:01.44\00:09:02.77 and yet the, our sun is not the biggest star out there. 00:09:05.77\00:09:09.78 We have many stars that are much bigger 00:09:09.81\00:09:11.61 than our sun. 00:09:11.65\00:09:12.98 And we're gonna get to those little later. 00:09:13.01\00:09:16.75 But, you know, our sun is part of a galaxy 00:09:16.79\00:09:19.99 and the, we call the Milky way galaxy. 00:09:20.02\00:09:22.99 And we're locate, our sun is located 00:09:23.02\00:09:24.99 about a third of the way out from the center of the galaxy. 00:09:25.03\00:09:29.26 Now the stars in the center of the galaxy 00:09:29.30\00:09:30.93 are going around like every 20 years. 00:09:30.97\00:09:34.14 The outer stars and the arms 00:09:34.17\00:09:35.67 are trying to catch up with the stars in the center. 00:09:35.70\00:09:39.24 I means, there we going around 20, 30 years 00:09:39.27\00:09:40.68 just screaming around, 00:09:40.71\00:09:42.04 and yet the outer side, 00:09:42.08\00:09:43.41 they may take a 100 million, 200 million years 00:09:43.45\00:09:46.01 for them to rotate. 00:09:46.05\00:09:49.48 So when we look around the galaxy, 00:09:49.52\00:09:52.82 we see, in our galaxy, we see all these stars, 00:09:52.85\00:09:55.69 we see constellations. 00:09:55.72\00:09:57.39 Now constellations would be stars 00:09:57.43\00:09:59.36 that you can make a stick figure out of, 00:09:59.39\00:10:00.96 you could draw, 00:10:01.00\00:10:03.37 you know, like Orion, a man, 00:10:03.40\00:10:04.73 he's got shoulders, he's got a belt, he's got legs. 00:10:04.77\00:10:08.20 And so we have actually 88 constellations. 00:10:08.24\00:10:11.74 Now people often get the names mixed up, 00:10:11.77\00:10:14.71 you know, what's a galaxy, what's the nebula, 00:10:14.74\00:10:16.44 what's the constellation; you know, what's the supernova? 00:10:16.48\00:10:20.12 But constellations would be just stars that we see, 00:10:20.15\00:10:23.79 a bright stars 00:10:23.82\00:10:25.15 that have made images out of like a stick figure, 00:10:25.19\00:10:27.56 so that would be a constellation. 00:10:27.59\00:10:29.66 A galaxy would be orbiting a hundred; 00:10:29.69\00:10:32.89 you know, billion stars orbiting in a galaxy. 00:10:32.93\00:10:35.36 And they tend to be-- 00:10:35.40\00:10:36.73 galaxy's good illustration would be a paper plate. 00:10:36.77\00:10:39.03 If you took two Chinet plates and you put them together, 00:10:39.07\00:10:42.70 you know, from one angle you'll see them quite thin 00:10:42.74\00:10:46.84 and then you'll see them quite round 00:10:46.88\00:10:48.51 or you'll see an ellipse. 00:10:48.54\00:10:49.88 They have a bulge in the center. 00:10:49.91\00:10:51.25 There seems to be quite a bulge of stars 00:10:51.28\00:10:53.48 in the very center of a galaxy. 00:10:53.52\00:10:55.62 And when you look at the galaxy, 00:10:55.65\00:10:57.15 look at the center of the galaxy, 00:10:57.19\00:10:59.15 you'll see it just look like stars are touching each other. 00:10:59.19\00:11:04.16 But they are separate by trillions of miles, 00:11:04.19\00:11:06.06 the average distance between stars is trillions of miles. 00:11:06.09\00:11:10.17 And it's hard to get you head around that 00:11:10.20\00:11:13.94 to think there could be trillions of miles 00:11:13.97\00:11:15.60 because they always have glow in the center. 00:11:15.64\00:11:18.47 Now when I fly into Denver at night, 00:11:18.51\00:11:20.41 and the pilot says we're at 150 miles out of Denver, 00:11:20.44\00:11:24.38 I look out the window, 00:11:24.41\00:11:25.75 I can't see one street from 150 miles. 00:11:25.78\00:11:29.08 Denver looks like a galaxy from 150 miles. 00:11:29.12\00:11:31.75 But as you come down over the city, 00:11:31.79\00:11:33.36 all of a sudden you see every house, every car, 00:11:33.39\00:11:35.92 every streetlight, and-- 00:11:35.96\00:11:38.49 but out of 150 miles there's no angular separation, 00:11:38.53\00:11:42.56 they just go together. 00:11:42.60\00:11:43.93 So if you can try to get here mind around that, 00:11:43.97\00:11:45.93 when you see these galaxies in the center, 00:11:45.97\00:11:48.47 they just simply glow with millions of stars. 00:11:48.50\00:11:53.91 And-- 00:11:53.94\00:11:55.68 it's interesting that Galileo said 00:11:55.71\00:11:57.31 that Bible tells us how to go to Heaven, 00:11:57.35\00:11:59.58 not how the heavens go. 00:11:59.61\00:12:01.55 But what's interesting, the bible writers 00:12:01.58\00:12:03.15 were prevented from following the errors of the time. 00:12:03.18\00:12:06.42 You know, there were many theories 00:12:06.45\00:12:08.52 of everything that the earth was flat, 00:12:08.56\00:12:12.39 that the wind didn't have any weight. 00:12:12.43\00:12:16.06 And, so 00:12:16.10\00:12:18.63 the bible writer were prevented 00:12:18.67\00:12:20.04 from following the errors of the time. 00:12:20.07\00:12:24.57 And looking our earth it, 00:12:24.61\00:12:26.57 you know, its mostly molten rock, 00:12:26.61\00:12:28.94 about 8,000 miles in diameter. 00:12:28.98\00:12:30.61 It has a magnetic field. 00:12:30.65\00:12:32.18 This magnetic field of the earth 00:12:32.21\00:12:33.75 is a great protection for us from the solar wind. 00:12:33.78\00:12:37.59 We have charge particles coming from the sun 00:12:37.62\00:12:40.22 at millions of miles an hour. 00:12:40.26\00:12:42.19 These charged particles would given us cancer actually. 00:12:42.22\00:12:45.36 But we have this magnetic field that protects us from that. 00:12:45.39\00:12:48.80 And that's one the concern going to Mars, 00:12:48.83\00:12:52.40 that we'll be outside of that protection, 00:12:52.43\00:12:54.17 Mars does not have a magnetic field 00:12:54.20\00:12:56.60 and it would be dangerous. 00:12:56.64\00:12:58.44 And so they're looking how could we go to Mars safely 00:12:58.47\00:13:01.98 and protect our astronauts. 00:13:02.01\00:13:03.35 Well, if we could put across, put a lid, 00:13:03.38\00:13:05.18 a space capsule around, that will protect them. 00:13:05.21\00:13:07.72 We would protect them in the bottom of swimming pool, 00:13:07.75\00:13:09.28 we have lot of water, 00:13:09.32\00:13:10.65 we could make a magnetic field around them. 00:13:10.69\00:13:13.09 And we need about 20 gallons 00:13:13.12\00:13:14.79 magnetic chamber around your body 00:13:14.82\00:13:17.83 to protect you from the solar wind. 00:13:17.86\00:13:20.83 But then the experiments they discovered 00:13:20.86\00:13:22.36 that if you put your head 00:13:22.40\00:13:23.73 inside a chamber with one gallons 00:13:23.77\00:13:25.10 like sparks go off in your eyes, 00:13:25.13\00:13:27.54 and so that's out. 00:13:27.57\00:13:29.14 And so other ways is well, maybe we could develop a pill 00:13:29.17\00:13:32.87 that would make us immune to the solar wind. 00:13:32.91\00:13:36.11 And you see, the earth was made from Man, not space. 00:13:36.14\00:13:39.71 We gonna be change, the Bible says, 00:13:39.75\00:13:41.42 in the moment the twinkling of an eye 00:13:41.45\00:13:42.95 at the last trumpet, we're going to be changed. 00:13:42.98\00:13:44.35 But right now 00:13:44.39\00:13:45.72 it would be dangerous for us to go to Mars. 00:13:45.75\00:13:47.92 And so they thought, well, maybe we could do a pill 00:13:47.96\00:13:51.49 that would make us immune to it. 00:13:51.53\00:13:52.89 The newest, the latest is, 00:13:52.93\00:13:56.87 they say, well, you know what, we need explores. 00:13:56.90\00:13:59.30 We, old people like me, 00:13:59.33\00:14:02.04 who've been about the sun already, 00:14:02.07\00:14:03.91 78 times, not live too much longer, 00:14:03.94\00:14:06.51 we will send them on a machine to Mars, 00:14:06.54\00:14:08.11 they could be explorers, they never come home, 00:14:08.14\00:14:09.84 a one way trip, they die of cancer, 00:14:09.88\00:14:11.38 you know, at that age you're gonna do it anyway. 00:14:11.41\00:14:13.95 So there's actually something you can sign up for now 00:14:13.98\00:14:16.58 on Mars, go to Mars, be an explorer. 00:14:16.62\00:14:19.35 And you know, 00:14:19.39\00:14:21.26 whether we're going to go to Mars not, I don't know. 00:14:21.29\00:14:23.99 It would be a two year trip. 00:14:24.03\00:14:25.63 You see Mars come around every two years, 00:14:25.66\00:14:27.76 it gets it's closest approach to earth sometimes like, 00:14:27.80\00:14:29.83 15 million miles will be the closest approach. 00:14:29.86\00:14:32.30 So we would fly out there to Mars, 00:14:32.33\00:14:34.27 when it's at its closest approach 00:14:34.30\00:14:36.20 and it should be a six month trip, 00:14:36.24\00:14:37.57 and then gonna be on Mars for, you know, for two years, 00:14:37.61\00:14:42.94 or actually one year on Mars. 00:14:42.98\00:14:44.31 So it be half year getting there, 00:14:44.35\00:14:45.68 a year there, and half year getting home. 00:14:45.71\00:14:47.58 And so we'll be gone for two years. 00:14:47.62\00:14:50.35 But its not, not a safe journey, 00:14:50.39\00:14:54.09 I can tell you that. 00:14:54.12\00:14:55.46 When we look at the earth, 00:14:55.49\00:14:56.83 we says it's in the Goldilocks zone. 00:14:56.86\00:14:58.19 You remember the story of about Goldilocks. 00:14:58.23\00:15:00.13 Goldilocks, well, the soup was, 00:15:00.16\00:15:02.90 some was too hot, some was too cold, 00:15:02.93\00:15:04.40 the baby bear soup was just right. 00:15:04.43\00:15:06.37 And so here we are on earth where it's just right, 00:15:06.40\00:15:08.64 everything is just right for our life. 00:15:08.67\00:15:11.44 The other planets, 00:15:11.47\00:15:12.81 you wouldn't live on any of them. 00:15:12.84\00:15:14.18 You know, you really wouldn't be comfortable there 00:15:14.21\00:15:16.18 without a lot of technology 00:15:16.21\00:15:17.55 to keep you warm and protect and all of that. 00:15:17.58\00:15:20.22 But you think about that the spinning of the earth, 00:15:20.25\00:15:22.45 and it goes around every 24 hours. 00:15:22.48\00:15:23.99 What if the earth spun 12 hours, every 12 hours? 00:15:24.02\00:15:28.32 You see you just cook to death in the summers, 00:15:28.36\00:15:30.33 the sun will be out for 24 hours, 00:15:30.36\00:15:31.79 would you take that. 00:15:31.83\00:15:33.16 And then it would be dark for 24, 00:15:33.19\00:15:34.53 you know it will be cold. 00:15:34.56\00:15:37.53 You see how perfect it is 00:15:37.57\00:15:39.83 for the warming and the cooling of it. 00:15:39.87\00:15:41.54 It's position is in the right place 00:15:41.57\00:15:44.34 in the Goldilocks zone where life can exist. 00:15:44.37\00:15:46.74 It has the moon that goes around, 00:15:46.78\00:15:48.34 and that keeps the oceans alive, aerates the oceans. 00:15:48.38\00:15:53.35 There are just so many things, 00:15:53.38\00:15:55.08 so many parameters, 00:15:55.12\00:15:56.45 about a hundred about the earth, 00:15:56.48\00:15:58.45 it's called the anthropic principle. 00:15:58.49\00:15:59.82 Boy, you know, it just, the evolutionists goes like, 00:15:59.85\00:16:01.32 you know, it's really looks like it made for us, 00:16:01.36\00:16:04.39 like it's created for us. 00:16:04.43\00:16:07.36 So there's over a hundred scientific facts, 00:16:07.40\00:16:09.50 when you consider them together, 00:16:09.53\00:16:10.90 demonstrate that the universe has been built for man. 00:16:10.93\00:16:14.60 Now the density of the universal in fact, 00:16:14.64\00:16:16.37 the density of universe, they say that is the universe, 00:16:16.40\00:16:19.37 just like all these parameters, if the density change, 00:16:19.41\00:16:22.91 life could not exist. 00:16:22.94\00:16:24.28 The density of the universe 00:16:24.31\00:16:25.65 must be in one part in ten quintillion. 00:16:25.68\00:16:29.18 Now that would be like you ladies making a cake. 00:16:29.22\00:16:31.85 You know, if you make a cake 00:16:31.89\00:16:33.22 and you put it in a tablespoon of salt 00:16:33.25\00:16:34.62 instead of a teaspoon, you got a disaster. 00:16:34.66\00:16:37.39 But what they're telling is that density of the universe 00:16:37.43\00:16:39.66 is so critical that in order to make the cake 00:16:39.69\00:16:42.73 you gonna have to count out 10 quintillion grains of salt. 00:16:42.76\00:16:47.00 If you get 10 quintillion in one, 00:16:47.04\00:16:49.20 if you miss one or add one grain of salt, 00:16:49.24\00:16:51.47 you got a disaster. 00:16:51.51\00:16:52.84 That's what they are saying. 00:16:52.87\00:16:54.21 And there's a hundred parameters, 00:16:54.24\00:16:56.28 hundred things about the earth that are so finally tuned 00:16:56.31\00:16:58.95 to make life work. 00:16:58.98\00:17:00.48 If even a single variable were off, even slightly, 00:17:00.52\00:17:05.12 we would not exist. 00:17:05.15\00:17:06.49 The extreme improbability 00:17:06.52\00:17:08.42 there so many variables would align so auspiciously 00:17:08.46\00:17:12.73 in our favor, merely by chances 00:17:12.76\00:17:14.93 has led some scientist and philosophers 00:17:14.96\00:17:17.77 to propose and said that it was God 00:17:17.80\00:17:20.34 who providentially engineered the universe 00:17:20.37\00:17:23.24 to suit our specific needs. 00:17:23.27\00:17:25.44 There was an interesting article 00:17:25.47\00:17:26.88 in an astronomy magazine, this was in April 2006, 00:17:26.91\00:17:33.25 and it said that "The universe continues to baffle 00:17:33.28\00:17:36.18 the great minds of our age. 00:17:36.22\00:17:39.35 If everything evolve from the Big Bang, 00:17:39.39\00:17:42.86 where are the antiparticles?" 00:17:42.89\00:17:47.03 When we look at the Hydrocolider, 00:17:47.06\00:17:48.40 we get particles matter, but we get antiparticles. 00:17:48.43\00:17:52.10 And antiparticles destroy particles. 00:17:52.13\00:17:54.30 How do you explain that? 00:17:54.34\00:17:56.87 There's Dr. Pacani in Los Angels 00:17:56.91\00:17:59.87 that wrote this book, you know, Adam Einstein. 00:17:59.91\00:18:05.08 I asked him about that, 00:18:05.11\00:18:06.45 I said, "Well, how do you explain that?" 00:18:06.48\00:18:07.82 And he says, "Well, for every billion particle 00:18:07.85\00:18:10.09 there was a billion and one matter, 00:18:10.12\00:18:12.19 and one less for antimatter 00:18:12.22\00:18:14.09 and that's really what took over the universe." 00:18:14.12\00:18:17.33 There are so many things that you just can't explain 00:18:17.36\00:18:22.06 antiparticles, particles and antiparticles. 00:18:22.10\00:18:25.10 Dark matter is something we create. 00:18:25.13\00:18:27.00 When we look at the universe, 00:18:27.04\00:18:28.67 and we look at the universe the way it rotates, 00:18:28.70\00:18:30.64 the way it expand, 00:18:30.67\00:18:32.01 the galaxies are stretching out, and expanding, 00:18:32.04\00:18:35.38 it seem to be going faster apart everyday. 00:18:35.41\00:18:38.88 Now that's the latest science, they're going apart. 00:18:38.91\00:18:43.02 The Bible saying 17 times God stretched out the heavens. 00:18:43.05\00:18:47.09 He stretched out the heavens like a curtain, 00:18:47.12\00:18:50.43 like a tent he spread them out. 00:18:50.46\00:18:52.13 And so 17 times, the God seems to, 00:18:52.16\00:18:54.36 the Bible seems to agree with the expanding universe, 00:18:54.40\00:18:57.27 the latest observations is that the universe is expanding. 00:18:57.30\00:19:01.70 And so that's, so they said, 00:19:01.74\00:19:04.67 well, we don't know why is there-- 00:19:04.71\00:19:06.04 what's this giant sucking sun? 00:19:06.07\00:19:07.51 May be its vacuum energy, may be its dark energy, 00:19:07.54\00:19:10.65 you know, there's ninety some percent of the universe 00:19:10.68\00:19:12.71 we cant see. 00:19:12.75\00:19:14.08 So they invent the vacuum energy, dark energy, 00:19:14.12\00:19:16.95 and dark matter to explain all this stuff. 00:19:16.99\00:19:22.86 The uniformity, the expansion of the universe, 00:19:22.89\00:19:25.26 quantum entanglement, folks, that's a holistic joke, 00:19:25.29\00:19:28.30 quantum entanglement. 00:19:28.33\00:19:30.53 It's as if every particle in universe 00:19:30.57\00:19:32.77 is connected with other particle. 00:19:32.80\00:19:34.34 It's as if I walk into Baskin Robbins here, 00:19:34.37\00:19:38.54 and got a chocolate covered cone, 00:19:38.57\00:19:42.38 and my sister walk into Baskin Robbins 00:19:42.41\00:19:44.41 a thousand miles away 00:19:44.45\00:19:45.85 and she seemed know what I select. 00:19:45.88\00:19:47.98 It's like a quantum entanglement in the particles 00:19:48.02\00:19:50.55 seems like every particle in the universe 00:19:50.59\00:19:52.52 is connected with every other particle. 00:19:52.55\00:19:54.42 Listen, you know, they've done experiments 00:19:54.46\00:19:56.26 where they run particles through a tubes 00:19:56.29\00:19:58.79 for miles, miles, and miles, 00:19:58.83\00:20:00.36 and they seem to be able to talk to each other. 00:20:00.40\00:20:04.10 It drives people crazy, quantum entanglement. 00:20:04.13\00:20:06.53 And one of my employees said, if that's true, 00:20:06.57\00:20:08.44 you know, there is a God. 00:20:08.47\00:20:10.21 Well, they used to think the earth was flat, 00:20:10.24\00:20:13.21 you know, we had the flatter society. 00:20:13.24\00:20:15.04 The Bible had that one figured out. 00:20:15.08\00:20:16.88 It said in Psalm 40:22, 00:20:16.91\00:20:19.61 "It is He that sits over the circle of the earth, 00:20:19.65\00:20:22.22 and its inhabitants are like grasshoppers. 00:20:22.25\00:20:25.82 Yes, it talk about nations as small dust on the scale 00:20:25.85\00:20:29.16 and yet, he knows the sparrows the that falls, 00:20:29.19\00:20:31.26 he knows the hairs by head, of your head, 00:20:31.29\00:20:33.56 he cares about you, 00:20:33.60\00:20:34.93 even though he runs this humongous universe, 00:20:34.96\00:20:38.97 right down to little atom 00:20:39.00\00:20:40.67 that we can't even, see in our microscope. 00:20:40.70\00:20:43.91 And so the bible says, 00:20:43.94\00:20:45.51 "It is he that sits above the--" 00:20:45.54\00:20:46.88 When they though the earth is flat, 00:20:46.91\00:20:48.24 the Bible says "He sits above the circle of the earth, 00:20:48.28\00:20:50.95 its inhabitants are like grasshoppers, 00:20:50.98\00:20:52.61 who stretches out the heavens like a curtain, 00:20:52.65\00:20:54.98 and spreads them out like a tent to dwell in." 00:20:55.02\00:20:58.62 Yet he knows the sparrow that false 00:20:58.65\00:21:00.42 and the hair of your head. 00:21:00.46\00:21:01.79 The earth is getting old, it's waxes old like a garment. 00:21:01.82\00:21:06.26 The bible had that in Psalm 102:25-26, 00:21:06.29\00:21:12.03 it says the earth waxes old like a garment. 00:21:12.07\00:21:14.54 We see that happening, 00:21:14.57\00:21:16.00 we see the depletion of the magnetic field. 00:21:16.04\00:21:18.57 Our magnetic field of the earth is running down, 00:21:18.61\00:21:20.91 its going small and weaker and weaker and weaker. 00:21:20.94\00:21:23.75 And of course, evolutionists says, well, it reverses, 00:21:23.78\00:21:26.11 it get's weaker and weaker 00:21:26.15\00:21:27.48 and weaker, and then it reverses, 00:21:27.52\00:21:28.85 north become south, south becomes north. 00:21:28.88\00:21:32.05 And yet, if you play that backward, 00:21:32.09\00:21:33.89 the magnetic, the strength of the magnetic field, 00:21:33.92\00:21:36.32 if you run that back billions of years, 00:21:36.36\00:21:38.79 it would have been so strong, 00:21:38.83\00:21:40.16 life could have evolved on earth. 00:21:40.20\00:21:43.06 So when we see the earth getting old, we see erosion, 00:21:43.10\00:21:47.37 the soil been eroded into the ocean. 00:21:47.40\00:21:50.91 We see the earth is slowing down, 00:21:50.94\00:21:52.44 we reset our clocks because it's slowing down. 00:21:52.47\00:21:57.05 And we see, we've talk about before, 00:21:57.08\00:21:59.45 mass extensions and so forth. 00:21:59.48\00:22:01.38 So the bible says that in Psalm 1 or 2, 00:22:01.42\00:22:03.82 "Of old thou has laid the foundation of the earth, 00:22:03.85\00:22:06.39 and the heavens are the work of thy hands. 00:22:06.42\00:22:08.59 They will perish, but thou will endure; 00:22:08.62\00:22:11.03 ye, all of them shall wax old like a garment; 00:22:11.06\00:22:13.43 as a wester shall thou change them, 00:22:13.46\00:22:15.53 and they should be changed." 00:22:15.56\00:22:17.63 All you have to do is nothing. 00:22:17.67\00:22:19.07 If we do nothing, you'll see things running down, 00:22:19.10\00:22:21.47 you'll see, you know, look ay your kid's room. 00:22:21.50\00:22:26.57 Without cleaning and bringing order, 00:22:26.61\00:22:29.31 we see everything's running down. 00:22:29.34\00:22:31.25 The second law of thermodynamics, 00:22:31.28\00:22:32.61 it says the whole universe, that everything is running down 00:22:32.65\00:22:35.12 and the Bible has it in Psalm. 00:22:35.15\00:22:37.59 And actually in Acts, 00:22:37.62\00:22:41.16 it says that that whole creation grows, 00:22:41.19\00:22:42.89 8:22. 00:22:42.92\00:22:44.86 So all you have to do is nothing 00:22:44.89\00:22:46.26 and everything deteriorates, 00:22:46.29\00:22:47.63 it collapses, it breaks down, it wear out all by itself, 00:22:47.66\00:22:51.03 and that's what the second law of thermodynamics is all about. 00:22:51.07\00:22:57.11 They used to think the whole universe, 00:22:57.14\00:22:58.64 we were the center of the universe. 00:22:58.67\00:23:00.04 They used to think 00:23:00.08\00:23:01.41 that everything run around the earth, 00:23:01.44\00:23:02.78 you know, geosynchronous, 00:23:02.81\00:23:04.15 geosynchronous, everything geocentric. 00:23:04.18\00:23:06.51 Everything goes around the earth. 00:23:06.55\00:23:07.88 It looks like it, you know, they rise in the east, 00:23:07.92\00:23:09.35 set in the west, looks like everything goes around. 00:23:09.38\00:23:11.09 You know the bible had that correct because the Bible, 00:23:11.12\00:23:13.62 in ancient times or ancient cultures we used to, 00:23:13.66\00:23:16.52 if we made a letter, you'd put a piece of clay 00:23:16.56\00:23:18.86 and you roll a roller across that clay. 00:23:18.89\00:23:23.37 And so the bible in, 00:23:23.40\00:23:26.00 that was in Job 38:13-14, it says, 00:23:26.03\00:23:31.81 that it's talking about the earth. 00:23:31.84\00:23:33.17 And it says the earth turns like clay to the seal, 00:23:33.21\00:23:35.91 the earth turns like clay to seal. 00:23:35.94\00:23:38.25 When they said, the earth was stationary, 00:23:38.28\00:23:40.02 when they said the universe, 00:23:40.05\00:23:41.38 everything goes around the earth, 00:23:41.42\00:23:42.75 the Bible says, no, 00:23:42.78\00:23:44.12 the earth is turning like clay to the seal. 00:23:44.15\00:23:48.52 And what about the air pressure? 00:23:48.56\00:23:51.66 Does air has weight? 00:23:51.69\00:23:53.03 You wouldn't, you know, it doesn't, 00:23:53.06\00:23:54.40 it's not intuitive that the air has weight. 00:23:54.43\00:23:56.26 And until they invented the barometer, 00:23:56.30\00:23:58.43 I think it was 16, 00:23:58.47\00:23:59.80 actually in 1640, they invented, 00:23:59.83\00:24:01.70 in the '40s they invented the barometer. 00:24:01.74\00:24:03.74 And bible had that to correct, if look at Job 28:24-25, 00:24:03.77\00:24:09.11 it talks about when God imparted a weight for the wind. 00:24:09.14\00:24:12.71 So we see, they thoughts the earth was flat, 00:24:12.75\00:24:16.02 the bible says He sits over the circle of the earth. 00:24:16.05\00:24:17.79 They thought that, you know, 00:24:17.82\00:24:20.62 they though that the earth was the center of the universe, 00:24:20.66\00:24:23.73 the bible says that it turns like clay to the seal. 00:24:23.76\00:24:27.46 And there was some religions 00:24:27.50\00:24:29.13 that taught in the earth was supported 00:24:29.16\00:24:30.70 on the back of turtles and elephants, 00:24:30.73\00:24:32.77 and I could remember, as a boys seeing is 00:24:32.80\00:24:34.60 to see Charles Atlas, I don't see it anymore. 00:24:34.64\00:24:36.30 But we as a kid, 00:24:36.34\00:24:37.67 they used to have this picture of Charles Atlas, 00:24:37.71\00:24:39.37 had the weight of the you know, the world, 00:24:39.41\00:24:40.84 he was carrying the world. 00:24:40.88\00:24:44.15 And, so some religious taught the earth was supported 00:24:44.18\00:24:46.95 in the back of turtles and the back of elephants, 00:24:46.98\00:24:49.25 Charles Atlas holding the earth. 00:24:49.28\00:24:50.79 If God chose a steel cable, you see, we have gravity. 00:24:50.82\00:24:54.52 How is gravity work. 00:24:54.56\00:24:56.52 You know the earth is going around the sun, 00:24:56.56\00:24:58.89 gravity holding in its place and we have an eclipse, 00:24:58.93\00:25:02.20 the moon goes in front does the earth moves 00:25:02.23\00:25:04.40 you know, often in space? 00:25:04.43\00:25:05.77 No, but if God use this steel cable, 00:25:05.80\00:25:08.60 it would take a cable 8, 000 miles 00:25:08.64\00:25:11.07 in diameter to hold the earth. 00:25:11.11\00:25:12.91 And yet, we know less about the-- 00:25:12.94\00:25:14.84 we know less about gravity than any other force. 00:25:14.88\00:25:17.55 We have the strong nuclear force, 00:25:17.58\00:25:19.18 the weak nuclear force, 00:25:19.21\00:25:20.55 we have the magnetic force, we have gravity. 00:25:20.58\00:25:23.02 Gravity is probably that one force 00:25:23.05\00:25:24.75 that we know less about. 00:25:24.79\00:25:27.29 They are studying gravity. 00:25:27.32\00:25:28.69 Do gravity waves travel the speed of light? 00:25:28.72\00:25:30.83 You know, there's a great deal of uncertainty about gravity. 00:25:30.86\00:25:37.80 And so the bible tells us that, 00:25:37.83\00:25:40.90 and he hang the earth on nothing. 00:25:40.94\00:25:43.04 There it is in space, we see pictures now from the moon, 00:25:43.07\00:25:45.54 he hands on earth are nothing, 00:25:45.57\00:25:47.04 floating in space through gravity, 00:25:47.08\00:25:48.91 the force we know less about than any other force. 00:25:48.94\00:25:53.78 And in Job 26, it says 00:25:53.82\00:25:56.42 that he stretched out north over the empty place 00:25:56.45\00:25:59.05 he hang the earth on nothing. 00:25:59.09\00:26:00.76 Okay, we have a picture of all of ours, 00:26:04.29\00:26:06.56 our planets coming up, 00:26:06.59\00:26:08.26 Jupiter, Saturn and Uranus, Neptune, 00:26:08.30\00:26:10.77 Earth, Mars, Jupiter, Venus. 00:26:10.80\00:26:12.30 And actually, 00:26:12.33\00:26:13.74 you would not want to live on any place but earth, 00:26:13.77\00:26:16.91 earth is going to be the most comfortable, 00:26:16.94\00:26:19.27 the best suited for us. 00:26:19.31\00:26:21.01 And of course, we're going into space, looking for life. 00:26:21.04\00:26:25.01 We sent out 200 spacecrafts, 00:26:25.05\00:26:27.15 and they're looking for a life in our solar system. 00:26:27.18\00:26:29.82 That's the main objective. 00:26:29.85\00:26:31.19 They trying to figure out how we got here. 00:26:31.22\00:26:33.09 Once again, they don't believe in God, 00:26:33.12\00:26:34.82 they don't believe in the bible, 00:26:34.86\00:26:36.19 they don't believe in the creator, 00:26:36.22\00:26:37.89 and they want a naturalistic explanation 00:26:37.93\00:26:40.73 for the origin of Life. 00:26:40.76\00:26:42.60 And, folks, it's not there 00:26:42.63\00:26:43.97 as you see or watching this series, 00:26:44.00\00:26:46.00 talking about the fact 00:26:46.03\00:26:47.37 that it's just isn't gonna happen, 00:26:47.40\00:26:48.80 life is not gonna evolve from non-life. 00:26:48.84\00:26:51.91 Particularly life that reproduces itself, 00:26:51.94\00:26:54.21 life is able to replicate itself, copy itself. 00:26:54.24\00:26:58.51 Its just isn't gonna happen. 00:26:58.55\00:27:00.28 And so even though they're looking, 00:27:00.32\00:27:03.15 you know, for life out there, we really-- 00:27:03.18\00:27:07.79 well, I could say actually there are particles that could, 00:27:07.82\00:27:11.79 we could pollute Mars. 00:27:11.83\00:27:13.60 Mars is down away from the earth 00:27:13.63\00:27:15.70 and there's 200 like, microorganisms 00:27:15.73\00:27:18.13 that could travel on the solar wind 00:27:18.17\00:27:19.80 that are in the upper atmosphere 00:27:19.83\00:27:21.17 that actually could get to the Mars. 00:27:21.20\00:27:22.57 So they might find some micro orbs, 00:27:22.60\00:27:25.97 or you know, organisms they're on mars 00:27:26.01\00:27:28.44 because of the solar wind. 00:27:28.48\00:27:29.94 But no, the Bible is the word of God, 00:27:29.98\00:27:32.91 and the Bible says, you can seek him and find him 00:27:32.95\00:27:34.82 if you search him with all your heart. 00:27:34.85\00:27:36.38 If you don't know him, folks, seek for him. 00:27:36.42\00:27:39.25 And because the bible says, you will find him 00:27:39.29\00:27:41.56 if you search for him with all you heart. 00:27:41.59\00:27:43.09 He's not gonna turn you way, 00:27:43.12\00:27:45.23 he is in the business of saving human beings. 00:27:45.26\00:27:48.20
