We don't see
exploding stars very often

in our Milky Way galaxy,
it actually hasn't happened

since the
invention of the telescope.

But we look in other
parts of the universe,
00:00:55.12\00:00:58.32
other galaxies,
we see it happened,
00:00:58.35\00:01:00.02
it happened quiet
close to our galaxy
00:01:00.06\00:01:02.12
in what's known as
the imaginary clouds.
00:01:02.16\00:01:05.06
And this was February 25, 1987,

all of a sudden
there was a star,
00:01:07.63\00:01:09.23
nobody notice the night before.
00:01:09.26\00:01:11.00
And all of a sudden it
was the brightest thing,
00:01:11.03\00:01:13.13
sometimes these could be
actually seen in the daytime.

There was one that the
Chinese made record of,
00:01:15.77\00:01:19.07
in July 4th, of
1054, a thousand years ago,
00:01:19.11\00:01:22.64
and it was in the
constellation of Taurus

that is now called,
known as the Crab Nebula.

Nebula is a word, basically,
we have four types of Nebulae.

We have nebula that
glow because they are hot,

we have nebula that glow
00:01:34.56\00:01:36.12
because they are
embraced with hot stars,
00:01:36.16\00:01:38.46
we have nebula that are dark

like the horse head nebula
you be seeing in this series,

then we have
this exploding stars,
00:01:42.40\00:01:44.17
which they call
planetary nebula.

And when,

like the one
happened in July 4th, 1054,

that thing was so bright

you can see it in the
daytime for many weeks.

I mean, it was huge.

And as--

what we believe from what we see

is that the biggest stars

seem burn up
their fuel and expand,

and they reach to a
point like a balloon

where they cant
support that shell

and then we get
these big explosion.

And what's interesting it's--

that illustrates what happens,

because when these stars explode

and these gases going out

like hundreds of
thousands of miles an hour,

and you can act
like the Crab Nebula.

They took and played
that back on a computer

that every 15 years,

But when these clouds go out,

you will see what
looks like smoke rings.

Now there's always a
stars remaining in the center.

We had the curse when Adam

Are the heavens
are going to perish?

But God shall endure,

yea, all of them
shall wax old as a garment,

as a vesture
shalt thou change them.

So the Bible says,
the heavens revolve,

they're gonna wear out.

may have something to do with.

There is some change going on,

very often in our galaxy.

But looking in other galaxies

you can see, there was
a pastor from New Zealand

that knew the sky so
well, he can go on every night,

he can look at
100 galaxies in night

and see if there was a new star

he hasn't seen there before.

He was so, he
would actually discover

about 15 of these a year,

15 supernova, and they
will be brightest in the galaxy

for few months.

And in fact, he did so well

the New Zealand government

gave him a really
nice 16 inch telescope.

So, we do see these
events happening in the heavens

and we call
them nova, supernova.

So, there's
some change going on.

I could spend weeks and weeks,

There are so much to learn here.

Down around the right side

you can see kind of a
ring of a mountains there,

the whole circle there of
mountains, 18,000 foot tall.

further towards the bottom,

crater that's dark,

that's a Copernicus,
that's going to be Plato.

That crater is
about 70 miles across.

you'll see a
brightest crater there,

near the middle

So you can study the
moon, there books on it,

time learning about the moon.

Now there's been lot
of talk about blood moons,

you know, its been
all over the internet

for last couple years,

and they tried to
tied with a Jewish events

and the Passover and so forth.

And you know, I don't
make a big deal out of that,

I don't knock it,
because I think God,

you know, may be

a way that the
Lord could reach people.

Because the Bible does say,
and in many scriptures it says,

the sun would be
turned to darkness

and the moon to blood
00:07:32.48\00:07:33.82
before the coming of the great
and dreadful day of the Lord.

That was in Joel 2:31,
and then Acts 2:20, in Isaiah,
00:07:38.05\00:07:41.86
other places that talk
about the moon turning to blood.

Now these events
happen all the time.

We get about three a years,
almost three blood moons a year

where the moon you know, it
has this reddish glow to it.

Now, what's interesting,
Passover's always on full moon.

So I don't put a lot of stock

in the blood moons that
been going around the internet,

everybody is talking about it,

and trying to connect
it with Jewish History.

You know, we see
blood moons all the time,

but neither do I knock it

because I think God
can certainly reach people.

What's going on,
what's the blood moon think?

And God can use
that to reach people.

On the other hand, I
believe that we're going to see

the moon turning into blood,

it's not going to be

get the names mixed up,

you'll see it just look like
stars are touching each other.

But they are separate
by trillions of miles,

And it's hard to
get you head around that

Now when I fly

Denver looks like a
galaxy from 150 miles.

But as you come
down over the city,

with millions of stars.

were many theories

of everything that
the earth was flat,

that the wind
didn't have any weight.

from following the
errors of the time.

And looking our earth it,

mostly molten rock,

about 8,000 miles in diameter.

It has a magnetic field.

This magnetic field of the earth

is a great protection
for us from the solar wind.

We have charge
particles coming from the sun

at millions of miles an hour.

These charged particles
would given us cancer actually.

But we have this magnetic field
that protects us from that.
