have a tendency not to
have a desire to know the Lord.

The world grabs on to
the mind of the young people

whether it's the 50s

when it was out
to a movie theaters

or when rock and
roll begin to become...

I remember looking
at some of the stories

when rock and
roll began to surface,

young people
just dove into that,

so we could see
in every generation

from ancient
times to the present,

young people
need to know the Lord,

and nobody would argue,

if I said remember the
creator while you're young,

nobody would say,
well, that's not important.

But we get to the
Sabbath and it says,

Sabbath day to keep it holy."

we don't pick a
day to make holy,

we simply choose the day
the Lord has already made holy

and He says,
"Remember it to keep it holy."

Now the question is
why is it important?

"But the seventh day is
the Sabbath of the Lord,

The question is who is your God?

Sabbath, you are acknowledging

when you honor the Sabbath,

What's interesting,
John, is that it is,

the Sabbath has
come under scrutiny.

this might come under scrutiny

because the
accusation has been levied

by many Christians in the world
as those that keep that day,

the seventh day
from Friday sundown

to Saturday sundown are doing,

are gauging in
legalistic works based system.

When what we just read
shows exactly the opposite.

By keeping the
Sabbath what God is saying

showing a dependency,

recreation with the Sabbath.

blessed as a result of that.

And the devil
comes along and says,

"The day doesn't matter."

the Sabbath doesn't matter,

it was nailed to the cross,

Let me answer that one, it is,

nothing to do with the cross.

the whole idea of
choosing a small group,

internal support group,

the other disciples
for whatever reason,

couldn't argue with His choice,

He chose a close knit group,

highlights them too,

Unfortunately,
James became a victim

victimized, he lost his life.

small group with Him,

person to disciple three

cognitive aspect to the gospel

that we do need to accept.

also reach the heart

not through intellectual
mental assent to truth.
