But there is so
much more to Bible study

memorization. That's right.

It's being familiar with
the text and the passages.

And so one of the
texts that comes to mind

is from Second Timothy.

Chapter 2, verse 15 it says

"Be diligent to present

a worker who does

the word of truth."

Now, there's a
general application

there of study the Bible

then you can rightly
divide the word of truth.

But the word there in the middle
I think is really important.

A worker. God wants workers.

and just going questions

and as I did that I
ran through that process.

I found that my mind
didn't just learn the text

down across from somebody

to teach somebody the word

on my own with somebody.

You know, one of
things that we did

early on John in Fairfield,
back in Fairfield days.

Was you had me
help to teach the class,

the Sabbath school class.

So during Sabbath school
we are spending a lot of time

on the major doctrines
of our faith. That's right.

have the answers right there.

memorize text over and over

not in your
relationship with Jesus.

Just a bit stale
outside of the application

of the one to one Bible study.

And there is
nothing more like that,

equipping you for
that truth with that truth

is really no shortcut

One of the things
that repetition you say

and you've heard the phrase
before is the best teacher.

But repetition not in
the sense of sitting there

But the more you share about
the Bible with someone else

day that I don't even recognize.

the word lamb is used.

the word lamb over

represents whom? Jesus.

Okay, but Revelation 13,
speaks about one like a lamb.

the designation lamb

that refers to Christ but
one like a lamb or lamb like.

And that's the one
reference in Revelation

does not represent Jesus,

to have characteristics

a beast rising above the sea.

that beast is designated

out of the bottomless pit.

one that comes and pulls
