Before we get into this topic,
this is a very unusual story.

there's a great earthquake.

So the Bible

that these were taken to Heaven

But when you look
at the picture there

in Revelation 4,

"I saw Heaven open."

And then John
has given the vision.

He says, "Around the throne,"

"Were twenty-four thrones

and on that thrones, I saw
twenty-four elders sitting,

clothed in white robes
00:08:16.19\00:08:19.38
and they had crowns
of gold on their heads."

In verse 10, "And
the twenty-four elders
00:08:22.27\00:08:24.12
fall down before him
who sit on the throne,

and worship him who
lives for ever and ever

and cast their
crowns before the throne."

And so you find
whenever the Bible talks

about the elders,
elders are always used

in reference to
those who were on earth.

angels or divine beings.

So the question is how
did these elders get there?

when Jesus ascended on high,

that those who are resurrected

kings and priests under God.

that these are first fruit.
