They are all eternal,

Old Testament 227 times

the spirit of God is spoken of.

You find in the
New Testament 349 times

the spirit is spoken
of. As a matter of fact,

the ending of the
Bible seven times at least,

Revelation says, he who
has an ear to hear let him hear

what the spirit
says to the churches.

into slavery in Egypt.

He was there in Pharaoh's
house. And the Bible refers to

filled by the spirit of God

who is called to lead

He is referred to as being

And so you find in the
Old Testament as well as

Spirit of God has been active

throughout all the ages,
leading men to the conviction

of their need of
salvation and of their need of a

And rather than answer

just with regard to Filipinos,
I wanna go to God's word

which gives us a
principle across the board.

And I want to go
to Romans 1, okay.

Romans 1 starting with verse 20.
00:09:15.45\00:09:17.71
So, turn with me into Romans
1 verse 20 and we'll start

24 we go through, okay.

But it says, for since
the creation of the world

His invisible
attributes are clearly seen,

that are made, even His
eternal power and Godhead,

that they are without excuse,

is just he gives us up.

God strive with man,

So, I believe that any nation
or any individual who puts

himself on the side of idols
and worshiping things of this

earth rather than then the God
of creation is setting himself

up for God to finally say
one day I can't do anything more

them up, that's right.

And that's what naturally
happens is often national

poverty and social
deterioration are things

that this person has mentioned
occurs when God gives them up.

And sometimes people
establish icons in their

society because they
want something visible
00:10:56.01\00:10:58.18
to remind them that
they're worshiping God.

But you'll discover as
we talk about the law of God

that God says to us not
to make any graven images

or statues or likeness in the
heaven above or earth beneath.

And there are some
cultures that are very steep in

worshiping things and
even go on a step further.

Let's include the
western culture in this also

and the European culture.
This is not just also talking
00:11:17.17\00:11:20.17
about false Gods, or fish
Gods or statues but it's also

talking about possessions that

sometimes
people tend to worship.

Luke chapter 12 and verse 15
there is a text that I want to

share with you that
covers all societies.

And by the way the
person who mentioned the phrase

or the culture Filipinos
is not expressing the views of

everyone in the Philippines
but maybe the way that

they've seen their culture
through their own experiences.

verse 15 reads as follows,

Take heed and beware of

they've not had much.

themselves in debt, just
trying to show that they've

broken away from the
poverty of their former culture

and not just Filipinos
but many of the Asian cultures

and some other cultures
where they haven't had much.

Some of the West Indian
cultures where they haven't

had very much they come
and they steep themselves in
00:12:31.90\00:12:34.48
the materialism and they
find themselves drowning in debt

just to prove that I've
risen above the bounds of the
00:12:38.13\00:12:40.99
culture that I come from.
So friends, keep this in mind,

possessions are
not our foundation,
00:12:44.07\00:12:45.95
Jesus Christ is. Amen.
Let's see what I've here.

you give your life to the Lord

Gentile is used in scripture

You find they're two classes

all through our scripture.

Jew, the Gentile, the bond,

But whenever a person gives

the holiness of God's law.

part, the Commandments of God,

written for the Jew anymore

adultery is something that

thou shall not steal,

for us to see why we need Jesus.

of God you don't see your sin.

law. That is not what under

Now we know that whatever

the law says, it says to
those who are under the law,

that every mouth may be
stopped and the world may

become guilty before
God. You know, those who are

under the law are those guilty
of transgressing Gods law,

when you're under the law

you're under its condemnation.

Remember we already the
text that the law reveal sin,

says, I am the Lord your God,

of the land of Egypt,

bondage. That's right.

Commandments do you believe.

bring up the Ten Commandments

you right back into bondage

of the house of bondage.

liberty because he freed them

the law is the law of liberty,

and threw them to the

before the woman,
that is the church,

and they were cast out of heaven

So, don't fall for this idea

that point is very deceptive.

angels were kicked out

the defective creature.
Well that's not the case,

Ezekiel Chapter 28 and verse15,

because when we talk
about transgression John

we have to bring to the picture
the very fact that God didn't

create a problem.
God didn't have a cork

or a clerk, or a
messed up defective character

in his system of creation.
But he created everyone of us

with the freedom
to make a decision.

We call that freedom of
what? Choice, freedom of choice.

want to comment on one thing,

It says that he was anointed

who got established,

mountain of God back and forth

storms. Now if you're looking at

walking in the presence of God

foundation of Gods throne.

In other words, what is
the foundation of God's throne?

talk about, his law.

His law, that's
right. And so then it says,

things against God and his law.

And that's when sin

leader who was so prevalent

lives through his regime

looking at that little baby.

Oh what a beautiful little
baby. Now I doubt if she said,

gonna teach you how to kill

and murder and pillage
and he looked so innocent.

But because of the
sin problem already

he grew up and made choices,
choices which what Lucifer made,

choices everyone of us has
the right to make a choice.

transgress and lead humanity
