they go back to perdition.

So the person
must make a choice.

They must choose salvation.

Continue to pray for
them that they'll soften

their hearts and they
accept God's gift of salvation.

something we can pray for,

for our loved ones,

We're asking that God intervene

To get their attention.

And sometimes that involves

a very difficult
set of circumstances

them through that.

them to not be saved.

Then I, Daniel, looked,

and there stood two others,

one on this river bank

river bank, where one stood.

man clothed in linen,

which involves persecution
by this little horn power

that finally ends by it
receiving a deadly wound,

which is described then
in Revelation chapter 13.

And so this
deadly wound is suffered
00:09:45.58\00:09:48.71
or it's experienced
by this persecuting power

that results in
or that concludes

the shattering of the people.

And it's after that
time where it's finished

things spoken of here

the people's power that kind

Yes. Its power is broken

and then the
thing's finally spoken of as

in the latter day
things in Daniel are finished.

And we can go to Daniel
also to Revelation to find out

how the end time.

How those latter days play out.

But from here we
transition into another kind

let's bring some context

only one latter days.

days then cannot refer

to an extension
of the last days,

because the
latter days culminate

in the return of Christ. Amen.

This time period must
be in relation to the 1260

previously spoken of.

But add to that, some elements,

refer to the bringing

That 1260 year period refers

to a time from 538 to 1798,

begins with the
time that the first,

one of the first major Pope's

that were inserted in Rome,
Vigilius took power in 538,

ruled up then
through the church of Rome

all the way up to 1798.

Which in fact was
when that power received

its deadly
wound and lost control

and power over God's people,

over religious matters

and political
matters for that time.

Of course, we know
that Revelation tells us

that the deadly wound
finally heals and it comes back.

But suffice it to

persecuting period of time

where this power is in place.

Then as it goes on, you
find that these other two days

studying this we find,

What happened in 508?

In 496, a few
years before, Clovis,

King of the Franks,
became a Roman Catholic.

This put him in
direct conflict with other,

the other Germanic
tribes that fight against
00:14:15.91\00:14:18.42
the Roman Empire of that day.
00:14:18.43\00:14:20.86
They were Ariens and
opposed to the Pope violently.
00:14:20.87\00:14:24.29
On his issues and his
stands with regards to Christ.
00:14:24.30\00:14:27.52
In spite of this,
Clovis defeated the Visigoths
00:14:27.53\00:14:30.75
and became the first
civil power to officially
00:14:30.76\00:14:33.45
support the
growing Church of Rome.
00:14:33.46\00:14:36.21
Notice the church
had been growing there
00:14:36.22\00:14:37.85
for a couple of
hundred years beginning

with Constantine who
declared his Christian faith

and then really
propelled Christianity

to the forefront within
Rome as the hot religion

of the day so to speak.

And so, here then we
find that this growing

church of Rome is
propelled then by Clovis

in his
defeating of the Visigoths

who opposed the Roman empire.

France then has
been refereed to at times
00:15:01.14\00:15:04.42
as being the oldest daughter
of the Roman Catholic Church
00:15:04.43\00:15:07.93
as a political power. All right.

Franks became France.
00:15:10.98\00:15:13.15
Now, going on, then
Clovis came to tour in 508
00:15:13.16\00:15:18.11
to hold a
celebration of his victory,

that is the
victory over the Visigoths.

It was there that he
met Byzantine envoys,

who by to decree
him an honorary consul.

The joining of the
civil and the religious powers

at that time was an
important step in establishing

the abomination of desolation,

which refers to the
false teaching of the papacy

and their practice
of uniting the powers

of the church with the state.
