foundational aspects of marriage

But, the true relationship
of marriage is the oneness

that man and wife
have as they come together.

between man and wife is similar

gonna have the right

that we highlight
a particular point.

Well, his members said to him,

your Bible is really highlighted
quite a bit in yellow,

you have done lot of study.
00:09:19.03\00:09:21.10
And then his response was,

no I haven't
necessarily study that,

but when I went to
the seminary the things

that are
highlighted in my Bible,

they told me not to preach
about, can you imagine that?

It's almost a

Notice what it says,

The first thing that God
says, it's between you and Him.

what he wants you to believe.

that you may have to break away

from the denomination that
you are primarily connected to.

I want you to see another one.

Be diligent to present

pastor or to your leader,

but to God, a worker who
does not need to be ashamed,

rightly dividing
the word of truth.

study the word of God

you are primarily
responsible for yourself

to follow what God

people are not able to discover

one was denominationalism.

Years ago, there was a game,

I forgot what the game was,

but when you play the
game you wore red glasses.

In order to find the answer
you have to wear red glasses.

Because by
wearing the red glasses

it made the red disappear.

And through the red
the answer could be seen,

because the answer
was in different color.

Sometimes we are in the same
way conditioned by our church.

They give us red
glasses to see, or sorry,

us to wear glasses

see through the things

they teach us to

So let me encourage you since

here is that the word of God

our faith, our practice,

Yet the church should
teach what is in the word.

So there is both that
have to come together here.

these denominations
especially the ones

over the last few hundred years

And so there are
things within their church

that they still hold
that is from that old system,

that isn't exactly
accurate according to the word

within the church,

the Seventh-day Adventist Church

obviously is aligned with.

You find that it had
in over 160 years ago,

that further protesting

some of the teachings
of Roman Catholic Church

doctrines on Sola scriptura.

Bible and the Bible only, right,

as a rule of your
faith and practice.

And so what we teach
here may not be in harmony

other denominations

although much of it is,
because they did protest

and did accurately
then begin to teach

establishment of prophecy.
