very interesting to find out

about prophets and whether

prophets are living
today, whether prophets

are just only dead, how
does that all fit in then,

many prophets have
gone out into the world,

off with something very basic,

Jesus talked about
the law and the prophets

to speak a word to the people,

to give them a
message specifically from him

so they can be or at
least can provide direction

as to their course.
The role they're taking,

how they're going,
where they're headed and

maybe correcting
a right or a wrong,

necessarily have a living

word of the prophet active.

important distinction

because if someone is

So in the last days we

don't have to be alive

live prophets that proclaim

who speak prophecies,

they proclaim the word

and what that means

the word of God as

whether or not a living

prophet is a real

and because they profess

it by saying the Lord
just gave me a prophecy

they refer to
themselves as prophets and

prophetesses. And so
they now a days it's becoming

so prevalent it's just
like the horoscope business,

but the problem with
that is you have nothing to

measure them against
when they says I know

the Bible says, but
here's what God told me.

So they tend to make
their words supersede

what the Bible says, but
if you look at the prophet's

word it never supersedes
or speaks out of harmony

with what God has

whether it's a Mormon,

be measured by the written

young lady responded yes,

only as it is properly
interpreted, and I said okay

the one that you give out
when you go out to give out,

missionary work is that one

interpreted? She says yes,

I said this so why
is it that the Bible,

Genesis to Revelation,
completely contradicts

what the book of

when I was in Springfield

new friend of mine he came

said he really wanted to study

Adventist pastor and in fact

few miles he lived in a town

that was a fairly
close town near Springfield,

we got together

you know fairly soon
that he was a Mormon.

But he really wanted to
study what Adventists believe,

because he wanted
to share his faith too,

so his motive really was
to show me as an Adventist

pastor what the Mormon
church teaches on several

subjects, but he,
but the entering ledge,

but entering ledge
was what do you see about

this and he said he has
been kicked out of church

church. Because there just

wouldn't dialogue
with him about this,

what, how do you interpret

those things are in the Bible

are a few things that I
see that the book of Mormon

has that are in direct
contradiction to what the word

fact those two things are

foundation to the teachings
of your church and he say,

What is going on,
because the Mormons teach that

the way that he interprets it,

rest of the scriptures on that

subject contradictory.
Right, because the multitude of

scriptures in the Bible
say that when the soul dies,

when a man or a woman
dies they rest in the grave

until the resurrection and
then Christ calls them forward

or until the last judgment
if they're the wicked and he

there, fine. And so I said there

in prison after you're dead
