Satan is testifying about

how good God is.
And Job is the one that

avoided evil. So he is
the one that avoided any

contact with
Satan, he avoided evil.

But notice even verse
11, look at what Satan

is now going to try
to tell the Lord to do.

But now stretch
out your hand and touch

all that he has and
he will surely curse you

to your face. And
the Lord said to Satan in

verse 12, Behold, all
that he has in your power

only do not lay a
hand on his person.

So Satan went out from
the presence of the Lord

and what did he do,
when you look at all

that happened he killed
his family, he killed all

of his livestock, burned
up his house and afflicted

Well now if you follow the

inference of Isaiah
45, you will say well God

really did that. But
in essence here what the

Hebrew writer was
saying is that God allows evil,

and why would he allow
evil. So that evil can be

seen for what it is,
it will run its course.

God is laying it
bear, he is allowing evil to

be seen rather than creating it.

And the opportunities are there,

he is not trying to
cover it up, cover it up.

He wants us to see
evil for what it is,

You see. Now in the sense

blamed for what happened,

God is fallen from heaven,

sheep, and the servants,

alone to tell thee.
Actually it was the devil

that did this but
God was blamed for even

the person
watching, the eyewitness said

fire came down from
God. But it was really

the devil doing these
things and God is many

times blamed for
things he has not done.

that's why in insurance
policies they call these

terrible storms and

they call these acts

necessarily an act of God.

There are places in
the Bible where you see

things are rather
confusing. It is said

that God hardened
the Pharaoh's heart.

reading into the book of Samuel

and is talking about
Saul, it says that an

evil spirit from
the Lord came upon Saul

little confusing.

allowing these things to happen

in the case of Saul
God allowed the Devil to

have his way with Saul

the Pharaoh hardened his

own heart, the Lord was
trying to lead him to do

the right thing but
he hardened his own heart

and so God is blamed
for things he does not

that's a terrible thing and

not seeking to blame God

And I'm thinking what
kind of conceptual love

can the little boy
who just lost his sister,

whom he loved so
much, have for God

when he heard from
the minister's mouth

that God just
took his little sister.

What kind of love can
the mother who just love

her daughter so
dearly have for God when she

hears a minister
say well your sister was

that needs to be clearly

vindicate the loving gracious

Or are they merchants
for Satan showing that

God is a wicked man and
look out on any given day.

that airplane when God wants

old girl because he is

with her because he needs

driving the car had
just sent a text message

seconds before
the impact head on to

this trailer
truck. And I'm thinking,

and I'm thinking
to myself I hope that

at the funeral that
they don't say well now

they're all, you know
Lord needed five more angels

and so he decided that
to take and it goes on to

list of all these
girls whose futures were laid

out before them,
prominent beautiful girls.

death for what it really is.
