we'll start with Genesis

God made with Abraham

was not just to
bring him a blessing,

the overarching

until Christ day
and when Christ came

he came to, to give

excited about that
covenant to reach the

entire world. Now the
world had become quite

popular by then. So,
the work was even a greater

work to do with

how many people were

had been given this

reluctant, because

sectarian, it was well

they're clean,

the Samaritans,

were connected with
them in the worshiping

of the true God
were considered the dogs

of the earth. So, you
can see their mentality

back then was very

you know we're the
people of God. Others

the gentiles, they
don't have that blessing.

But that wasn't God's

forget this given to the Jews

Jews found in

Jesus is speaking
to his disciples here

and he says go
therefore, and make
00:05:26.09\00:05:28.88
disciples of
Jerusalem. Of all nations,
00:05:28.91\00:05:34.28
it's all nations.
Baptizing them in the name
00:05:34.31\00:05:37.47
of the father and the
son and of the Holy Spirit.
00:05:37.50\00:05:40.42
So, all nations are
included again Jesus
00:05:40.45\00:05:43.77
is saying in the
blessing that he sort initially
00:05:43.80\00:05:46.67
to extend through
the nation of Israel.

And keep in mind,
for those of you who have

understand the
prophecy here, the prophecy

of the 490 years
that had not yet ended,

there was still three
and half years until the

probation were to close
for the Jews as a people

to engage in
their mission to reach

the world. And
to you know bring in

righteousness and
usher in the Messiah

and present the Messiah
to the rest of the world

so that nations
could be blessed.

So, John here we
have part of the original

commission given to
Abraham, given to Isaac,

but way down in Christ
day given to the people

and the nation of
Israel. Now we know what

happened to that
commission, after the

three and half
years had happened.

After that
preaching had gone forth,

we see that in Acts. We
finally see that Stephen

was martyred, he's
one of the head deacons

of the church.
Stephen was martyred by

or at least ordered to
be martyred by the leaders

of Israel. Thus sealing
Israel's fate or closing

their probation
with a no Lord, we're not

wanting to do, to
accept the commission

we've seen that this
commission extents to

the church, right.
And this church is still

taking to all the
world. The same commission

given to Abraham way back, when.

You know I think one
of the reasons we get

confused these
days is because, what is

being taught today
is this dual covenant

theory and that is
that the nation of Israel,
00:07:14.73\00:07:17.62
the people of the
Israel down now through
00:07:17.65\00:07:19.78
the Jews are God's
chosen people and he has
00:07:19.81\00:07:23.39
a covenant that
remains with them to provide
00:07:23.42\00:07:26.67
a special blessing to
them. But, that doesn't
00:07:26.70\00:07:29.12
follow scripture, and
that the blessing we find
00:07:29.15\00:07:31.16
in scripture is
suppose to be extended through
00:07:31.19\00:07:33.31
them to all
people, right. And there
00:07:33.34\00:07:35.58
isn't this separate
covenant that exists

with the church.
That well the church is to

reach the gentiles,
the Jews are to reach

the Jews and then we
all kind of come together

at the end with you
know culminating in one

nation, living a
millennium on earth here with

Christ as it's
leader. That's not really

what is happening and
nor was it God's plan.

God had one everlasting
covenant given to Adam

and Eve, given
again or restated again to

Abraham and his son
Isaac. You see this thing

is being passed
on down through time

and then we find the
great commission give

to the disciples,
Jews at the time to reach

the world with. And so

of misconceptions
about this because

there is so
much attention on the

Middle East. You
know what's happening with

God's people? You
know we know the church

is over here in
America doing it's work around

the world, but you
know God's people are still

the chosen people like it's a
00:08:25.76\00:08:26.75
separate covenant but it's not.

No, it's a matter of
fact what you said is right

on because there is
no separate between,

this people and that people.

The Lord has
there's the righteous

and there is the unrighteous,

who accept Christ and those

who don't accept
Christ, so God is not

Eve and Adam had fallen

deceived, Adam
went to it with his eyes

wide open, the Lord
said to Eve I will put

enmity between you
and woman, he is saying,

the Lord said
that to the serpent,
00:09:27.94\00:09:29.35
between you and
the woman, between your
00:09:29.60\00:09:31.52
seed and her seed,
that's right. See so now

you have a woman
with this seed that

was to come. And from
Eve's time to Abraham's

time to the time of
Mary when Jesus was born

in the New Testament time that

we refer to now,
women looked to their male

children being
that promised seed.

And so even in the
sense of Abraham and Isaac,

the blessing was not
an earthly seed only that

is through the nation
of Israel but they were

to carry on the blessing
by doing the Lord's work.

When he prevailed in

word Israel it's a spiritual

That is, those who are
the children of the flesh

these are not the

but the children of
the promise are counted as

the seed. So, anyone
that has received the promise

including the
church, that's right.

Are candidates the
seed of the woman that

started way back
when, that's right.

And came down
through Abraham and

his descendants as
well. So, clearly that,

we find that this
covenant goes through,

through Israel as a

nation to Israel as

that here. The church
today is spiritual Israel,

it is still Israel.
But, in the spiritual sense

it's Israel and that
name carries down again

from Jacob right on
down to the church today,

those who have
persevered and those also

include those who
have been faithful,

those who remain
faithful to God are

counted as Israel.
And in fact we find

find that those who are

obedient to God, who
follow God are children

of God and they're

so we are not
naturally Jews, but we are

spiritually Israel.

difference comes
