is this issue that it looks

what is being referred
to there has been nailed

transgressions, or our dead,

the dead of our

with Christ dying on the

he is talking about
that we're forgiven by his

sacrifice. Having
wiped out the hand writing

of requirements that
was against us which was

contrary to us. And he
is taking it out of the

way having
nailed it to the cross.

Now look at a couple
of words here because

we are gonna see this repeated.

The handwriting of
requirements that was

against us, okay.
So something clearly is

it was contrary to us.

He took it out of the

Daniel chapter 9, okay.
We are gonna look at the

prayer of Daniel, I mean
he makes some significant

statements here in this passage,

and we are gonna
start with verse 9 of Daniel
00:07:02.51\00:07:04.73
chapter 9. And in
the middle of prayer
00:07:04.74\00:07:06.08
he is talking
about the transgression
00:07:06.09\00:07:07.61
of his people,
the people of Israel.
00:07:07.62\00:07:09.82
Verse 9 of Daniel 9, it
say: To the Lord our God
00:07:12.20\00:07:15.37
belong mercy and forgiveness,
00:07:15.38\00:07:17.90
though we've
rebelled against him,
00:07:18.68\00:07:19.93
we have not obeyed
the voice of the Lord
00:07:20.73\00:07:22.44
our God to walk in his
laws, which he set before
00:07:22.45\00:07:25.30
us by his servants the prophets,

and here is the key
verse, verse 11 Yes,

all of Israel has
transgressed Your law,

and is departed, so as
not to obey Your voice;

therefore the curse
and the oath written

in the Law of Moses the
servant of God have been

poured out on us,
because we have sinned

against Him. It's
amazing, I had that highlighted

Bible, I don't know why.

Now notice what
is being said here,

what Daniel was
saying. He says the curse
00:07:52.28\00:07:54.96
and the oath
written in the Law of Moses,

so that was the part
it says that was poured

out on them, so it
clearly was against them
00:08:01.75\00:08:04.38
for there transgressions, right.

Notice that the law of
God was in placed already,

the people
rebelled against God law.

So, God poured out a
curse and the oath written
00:08:11.01\00:08:13.30
against them in
that Law of Moses when
00:08:13.31\00:08:15.03
he delivered to
them, because of their
00:08:15.04\00:08:16.94
transgression. It
was contrary to them,
00:08:16.95\00:08:19.04
it was against them,
okay. In fact other places
00:08:19.57\00:08:22.04
talk about that Law
of Moses being against
00:08:22.05\00:08:23.84
them some of those elements.

So, my suggestion to
you is that part of the Law

of Moses here included a
curse and an oath written

against them, okay,
written into the Law of Moses

that curse and that oath

because of their transgression.

Now as Christ dies on
the cross, that curse,

written in the Law of Moses

is removed, right. So it
is true that Christ giving

his life for us to

debt that we have

the price, a
penalty, the price of penalty,

or the penalty for our

can't miss the fact that

part of Law of Moses
that is curse and the oath

so even though the word law,

it clearly there is
a references to the Law

of Moses, okay. But I
believe it's that curse

it, and we find that because

there are elements
clearly Christ fulfilled

of that of the Law
of Moses, the ceremonial

the curse and the oath,

he took on us. In
fact you remember the

references, he become
a curse for us, right.

components of the
Bible are real clear that the

transgressions cause
the blood of the bulls and

in it of themselves the
blood was not clean, right.

It was just a symbol
and so there this constant

shedding of blood was
a way the earth was being

literally soaked in
blood, yeah. This curse was

continuing for
century, after century,

after century, after
centaury until Christ would

come and not only
would it take away the curse

that this transgression
that the transgression

man continue to
bring upon himself,

but he would do it
with his, he would purge

it with his
precious blood you see.

And the writer of

with his precious blood he

carries with the curse,

but the precious blood
of Jesus Christ removes

that curse from us,
and covers us with his
