So often when
Jesus healed people

He touched them.

He didn't need to.

You know, we sang a little
song that was sort of impromptu

a few minutes ago. Karen didn't
know we were going to do that.

And she was probably back
there fasting and praying.

And there's a word in there.

It says: "Your touch
is what I longed for. "

To have the touch of God!

Amen! A leper came to Jesus

and Luke tells us, the physician
said he was "full of leprosy"

course, renders him unclean.

this man full of leprosy

and he's violating the law

They think he's hopeless.

The crowd. They seem to factor
into each one of these stories.

But Jesus didn't run

didn't NEED to touch him.

to touch that leper

but He touched him.

Now one of two
things was going to happen.

Either Jesus would
become unclean by touching him

or the man became

cage, in one experiment anyway,

It was kind of like sculpted

And right about chest level

the monkey could nurse.

And they kept the room warm
enough so the monkey would not

the other side of the cage -

another wire monkey, but it had

terrycloth covering to it.

So they thought: "What's
the monkey going to want more?

food or is he going to want

monkey first would go to the one

whenever there was any threat...

mechanical bear in the cage

and he ran over to the cloth

introduced any kind of concern

It was the touch that it wanted.

might imagine, those monkeys...

Now how does Jesus respond

It all came together for him

You know how Jesus
identified the devil?

When He came into temptation

at least if you come and confess
