Because as I mentioned
when we come to the last book

of the Old Testament, the last
chapter of the Old Testament

the last two verses
in that chapter it says:

Now, when it speaks of the great
and dreadful day of the Lord

that is talking about
the coming of Jesus Christ.

That's what it's referring
to is the coming of Christ.

And it tells us certain
things that were to be done

or cared for in
order for us to be ready

for the coming of Jesus Christ.

And the scripture emphasizes
that that day will come

quickly because it
says here in Zephaniah

the first chapter
and verse 14 it says:

So what it's
saying... As we see these things

take place, that they will
take place in quick succession.

And so it says the coming
of the Lord will come quickly.

And you and I need to
be prepared for that day.

It continues in
verse 15 and says:

So it's going to be a
time - the coming of the Lord -

in which the whole
world will be involved.

It will be a time of
wrath, a time of distress.

devastation and desolation.

This will not be a good

That our foundation is firm.

Because it's
going to affect people.

So it's not an easy time.

So we need to be ready for
the coming of Jesus Christ.

So how to prepare for
the coming of the Lord.

Well to begin with,

at this point that if Christ
was to come you'd be lost.

That you know
without a question of a doubt

that you're lost

and that you would not
make it if Christ would come.

So what can you
do as an individual

to be prepared for the
coming of Jesus Christ?

Well the first
thing I would say to you

is it tells him to do this.

Elijah message, and it says:

So it says that
what Elijah was doing

was to make these
people who are disobedient

to turn them to the just

and prepare them for
the coming of the Lord.

So that's what we
want to do tonight.

We want to make sure
that if you know that you

are not saved,

you know that you are lost,

then I'd like to share
with you what you can do

to be ready for
the coming of the Lord.

So the first thing I
would tell you is accept Christ.

There's no other
way. I can't take you

because THERE IS NO OTHER WAY.

To begin with, you
must accept Jesus Christ

as your personal Savior.

Because, dear friend, let
people say what they want to

but there is no
salvation outside of Him.

That's the only way
you're going to find it.

This is what it says:

to those of you out there

known them for 30, 40 years -

That has to be the work of
the Spirit of God in your life.

victory does not come by fight,
