was a Bible and it was special

thing, and I accepted that.

But as far as

That was totally
something that no one ever said.

And I have to be honest...

didn't know much about it.

Just wasn't... wasn't made a
subject that was stressed at all

But as the years have gone by,

I have realized that
it's extremely important

something about the Word of God.

Where it comes from;
what's involved in it.

going to take a look

at where your Bible came from.

First thing we want to establish

is the scripture
make it very clear

as to what the
origin of God's Word is.

And this is what it says:

So it tells us clearly
that the origin of scripture

is from God... not man.

That' what the Word of God
says. That's where it came from.

Now, you may feel like this book

is a good history book.

You may feel like it's
a good book of literature.

If you read it and study it,

of grammar and all.

book is more than that.

So we are finding that
the Word of God became flesh.

And in Jesus Christ
we find a revelation

of God. It's there.

That's what He told us,

and that's what He told
us where we were to look.

He told us clearly

spend time in the Word of God

talking to the Pharisees

they which testify of Me. "

in which you have
people that understood clearly

what God wanted. And so the need

was not necessarily needed.

But then the children of Israel

went into slavery...

he knew what the Lord wanted.

But when the children of
Israel went into slavery,

400 years without it.

So when they come out of Egypt

Now, as we take a look
from that at the Old Testament,

Testament is made up of books

written by different writers.

The most prolific writer
of all of them was Moses.

Moses wrote the first
five books of your Bible -

Genesis, Exodus, Leviticus,
Numbers, and Deuteronomy.

And those five books
are called the Pentateuch.

That's what they're called.

The five books are
called the Pentateuch.

Moses wrote them.

Now probably
the best we can tell

the oldest book in the
Bible is the book of Job.

He was persecuted
unmercifully for doing this.

He had a group of
followers that followed him

And they tried to make

The church - the established
