that there is an angel,

happen there with that angel

believed and what happened.

with an allegory.

here and what's taking place.

look at this allegory.

familiar with this picture.

recognize this as the castle

at Disneyland or Disney World.

That's the castle there,

and everybody sees
it. In every theme park

that Walt Disney has
built this castle is there.
00:18:04.20\00:18:07.43
This castle is NOT in
Disney Word or Disneyland.

This castle
happens to be in Bavaria.
00:18:13.68\00:18:17.98
Germany.
00:18:18.18\00:18:19.60
That's where it's at.

And it was the original castle

and Walt Disney duplicated it

and had it in all
of his theme parks,

because of all the
castles in the world

it's probably one of the
most beautiful and symmetric

that's ever been built.

But, this castle
fits into the story

of the allegory that I'm
sharing with you tonight,

watch as we talk about it.

Back in the year of 1661 AD

a young man came to
the throne in France.

His name was Louis XIV.

About 24 years of
age, and at this time

the nation of France
was probably the strongest,
00:19:07.81\00:19:11.71
most powerful
nation in all of Europe.
00:19:11.92\00:19:15.87
And so, Louis XIV
who took over this power
00:19:16.07\00:19:21.17
set up what he
called his Sunrise Kingdom.
00:19:21.38\00:19:26.39
And he became
known as the sun king
00:19:26.59\00:19:30.63
because he said
there was no place on earth
00:19:30.83\00:19:34.30
where the sun rose
00:19:34.50\00:19:35.94
that it didn't rise
on French territory.

And so he had his
famous Sunrise Kingdom

that he intended to continue to
grow until it ruled the world.

That it was the
strongest of all of them.

And Louis XIV
went outside of Paris

about 10 miles and had
a friend that lived there.

And they went hunting there.

And he liked the area very well,

and so he was able to
purchase some land in this area.

And he began to have a
lodge there where he could hunt

some buildings on it.

that he would
build a palace there.

And he built it, and it
became known as Versailles.

marvelous beautiful buildings.

I mean, beyond...
They're one of the marvels

of today, folks, when you go
to Versailles where he built.

This became the
capitol of France

and was the capitol of
France for many, many years.

And he built these
buildings like this

that were just
absolutely marvelous places.

And you can go there
today and walk through the halls

of this palace and see the
wonderful things that he built.

The statues, and all the marble,
and all that took place there.

Or you can even go to what
is called the Hall of Mirrors

where you stand and there just
doesn't seem to be an end to it.

Louis XIV
intended that his power

would encircle the earth, and
that he was the Sunrise Kingdom

and this would be his.

As happens to all men

as well as to nations,

they go downhill.

And France, over time, lost
the position that it once held.

as the
embodiment of the Sun King.

And he thought that
he now would take over

and his kingdom would
become the Sunrise Kingdom

and that it would
encompass the world...

this sunrise king of all.

And so Ludwig
set out to do that.

castle that you looked at.

which is called, by

And if you go there and visit it

Now folks, you've got to
remember... this is a man

who sees himself as the
embodiment now of the Sun King

and that his kingdom's
going to rule all the world.

One problem... he
doesn't even rule Germany.

He just rules
Bavaria. That's all he has.

way he sees himself,

Bavaria thought he was crazy.

he was crazy, folks.
