There's a story that's told

Zacchaeus is a tax collector.

Zacchaeus is one who collects
for the Roman government...

but he also happens to be a Jew.

And since he's a Jew, he's
not liked by his own people

very well because he's
collecting taxes for the Romans.

But he was short of stature.

And I don't know if that made
him a little hard to deal with

or what it was, but it
was a problem evidently.

But he heard that Jesus

stature he went and crawled up

But he crawled up into this tree

so that when Jesus

What I'm trying to get
across to you this morning

is when Zacchaeus
gave his heart to the Lord

and accepted Christ and the
Holy Spirit came into his life,

immediately the fruits
of the Spirit became evident

because he said: "Lord,
I'll return whatever I've taken.

I'll pay back fourfold. "

Immediately those
things all took place
00:14:31.06\00:14:34.73
as the fruits of the Spirit
began to take place in his life.

And Jesus said to him:

"Salvation has

And so in your life and in mine

when we accept Jesus Christ
