rich neighborhoods of our town,

with no Adventist presence.

organizers found the place

inside the mall like a
store, to start a church plant,

with the goals to reach
a lot of people for Jesus.

a big urban cities like,

urban cities are all over.

regions along the Amazon,

and I've heard
about a floating church,

what is this?

The Amazon
presents a unique challenge.

Here in Brazil, we
have large footprint

of one of the least reached
people groups in the world.

The first people group
is the indigenous people.

And secondly,

the people who live
along the Amazon River,

or as we know them riberenos,

meaning they're people
who live beside the water.

We have about 10,
000 of these communities

of riberenos.

Many live in an area
with no Protestant presence.

Either they will
have a Catholic presence,

not far from here.

It's only about 100 miles away.

In this place we
worked together with ADRA

humanitarian assistance.

to support this village.
