00:07 Welcome back to the city of London in England,
00:09 and next stop, we travel to the country of India 00:13 in the city of Poona with Rick McEdward. 00:17 I'm here in the beautiful country of India 00:19 where everything is colorful and spicy. 00:23 I'm here with a new friend of mine, 00:26 Pradeep who is here to share with us 00:30 a little bit about the work that he does in the community. 00:34 And, Pradeep, why don't you tell us 00:37 what you're doing? 00:39 I'm Pradeep from India and I love my country, 00:44 and I have seen many things are happening nowadays 00:47 and that will be revealing God's love 00:51 through every people in the big country of India. 00:57 And there are certain people who changed their life 00:59 by knowing the true love of God and that is Jesus Christ. 01:04 Very good, so you like to share Christ's love 01:09 but there are so many people in India, 01:11 how are we really able to accomplish this task? 01:17 I've met people who are just going through 01:21 the sorrows and painful life 01:24 and they have so many difficulties in their homes, 01:26 so many problems. 01:28 People they, sometimes they don't have food to eat. 01:31 Sometimes they don't have home to sleep, 01:34 but when I see the condition 01:35 and I read in the Scriptures Matthew Chapter 25 01:39 that there is no food for the people 01:41 and God says if you have done anything for this, 01:44 you have done to me. 01:45 So when you read that 01:47 and you see the condition of the people, 01:48 have you been able to get involved 01:51 with some of the poor people in your community? 01:54 Yeah, where I'm staying there I found a community 01:57 where the poor children, 02:00 the beggar children, they were homeless. 02:05 They don't have anything to eat 02:07 and when I used to cross everyday to their home, 02:11 and I found that these children are sleeping outside the road. 02:16 And we have feel pity on it and we have decided 02:20 that we have to do something for them. 02:22 So you saw the conditions of the kids, 02:24 you felt sorry for them and wanted to do something, 02:27 so tell me a little bit more about 02:31 what you're actually doing? 02:33 Actually recently this happened, 02:36 the big city where I'm staying 02:39 and the children are some poor children 02:41 almost 20 to 60 children, everyday they are begging, 02:46 they are begging for the food and they have-- 02:50 they don't have any clothes 02:52 and we have started the CLC program, 02:55 Children Literacy Program. 02:56 And everyday I just used to visit this family 02:59 and I called these children to come and sit 03:02 and I'm just giving the small literatures 03:05 and just introduce them 03:06 the love of Christ through singing 03:08 and through this alphabetical education. 03:11 So you're helping them learn how to read and write 03:13 and teaching them through song. 03:15 Yeah. Yeah. 03:17 So these children when they-- 03:18 they come to know about singing and they know the song of Jesus 03:23 and they learn the alphabets 03:25 and they know how to read and write, 03:26 the parents, they feel proud 03:28 and they know who is that person. 03:30 And that time we have good time to share them 03:32 that is the love of true Jesus Christ. 03:36 So how did you get involved with this, 03:38 is this just a sense of compassion 03:40 that you had in your heart? 03:42 When I know about Christ, I heard that one day 03:48 and many years ago Christ came to this world 03:50 and He died for everybody, for the whole nations 03:55 and He gave everything and I have decided why-- 03:59 how can I do something for Christ? 04:01 Why not I do something for Him? 04:03 So that passion is infinite that 04:06 through this people will know the true love of Jesus. 04:09 So still and I decided I'm doing little bit for that 04:15 so that Jesus will be our savior for all of them. 04:19 You know, Pastor Pradeep, 04:21 I really appreciate what you're doing 04:24 and I wonder if you have been able to share this 04:26 with some of the other church members 04:30 or pastors to encourage them to do something more also. 04:34 Yeah, once in a week, I used to ask them people 04:38 if you have any old clothes, 04:40 if you have old things, you just bring it 04:42 and we just want to share 04:44 these old things to these poor families. 04:46 And there are some people who came 04:48 and they have through financially, 04:51 through their old clothes 04:52 and some woollen clothes they bring 04:54 and we have distributed to these all the poor families 04:58 in the city where I'm staying 04:59 and where I'm working with this community. 05:01 So that's people, this way children will be educated 05:04 and they will also be a part 05:07 of our true love of Jesus Christ. 05:10 Wonderful, now, when you minister to people, 05:12 what is their response? 05:14 People they used to ask why you're doing, 05:17 what benefit you're getting. 05:19 There are so many questions they used to ask me. 05:21 And I said this is nothing that is only the love 05:25 where we receive the creator of all things 05:28 and that is only Jesus Christ and He did everything for us. 05:31 Now we're doing something for Him. 05:33 So sometimes people are surprised 05:34 that you're involved like this 05:36 and they want to know what's the real reason 05:38 and it's just because of God's love. 05:40 So they want to see that there are certain big people, 05:42 political people they're never trying to do anything like this 05:45 but why this people of this group 05:49 are doing all these things 05:51 so that we find that we know the light of heavenly God 05:56 and we're still working on it, 05:58 so that many will receive that same light 06:00 and we are part of that kingdom. 06:04 Well, Pastor Pradeep, 06:05 I really appreciate the time we spent together. 06:09 Do you have just one more thought that 06:12 you would like to share with our audience?
