prophetic time period

That was the beginning
of the time of the end.

As you look at
those words, dear friends,

here is a message

that carries the most severe

warning of any message

in the whole of the Bible.

And yet it comes from Jesus.

How do we reconcile that?

Because it comes to us
from the one who loves us.

And I want to underscore
that in your thinking.

And who also knows

the deceptions
and the strategies

and the attacks

that Jesus' enemy Satan

worshiping himself.

Since Jesus
loves us all so much,

He doesn't want any of us
to be deceived and involved

terrifying deceptions.

message to the world

And I want you to remember that

sharing this morning.

We've found that

the Bible clearly
identifies the beast

as the symbol of
the Church of Rome,

a church that began so well.

As I think I reminded
you in our last presentation,

Paul, the Apostle Paul wrote
one of his greatest letters

in the New Testament

to the church in Rome.

We call it the Book of
Romans, a wonderful book.
00:07:28.98\00:07:32.31
But as time passed
in the church in Rome,

they began to adopt teachings
not found in the Bible.

And to persecute,
and also to destroy
00:07:41.22\00:07:45.43
those who resisted the authority
00:07:45.46\00:07:49.43
that resided in
the Bishop of Rome.
00:07:49.46\00:07:52.33
We have found
too in Revelation 13,

that a nation was to
arise in the time of the end.
00:07:54.27\00:07:58.61
Identified in the Bible,
00:07:58.64\00:08:00.11
as we noticed as the
United States of America
00:08:00.14\00:08:03.28
that will eventually,
00:08:03.31\00:08:04.65
and this is prophesied
00:08:04.68\00:08:06.11
and it seems so
unreasonable to us today,
00:08:06.15\00:08:09.72
but it's been prophesied that
00:08:09.75\00:08:11.09
this nation will
finally force the world
00:08:11.12\00:08:14.39
to worship this beast.
00:08:14.42\00:08:17.33
And also to make an image
00:08:17.36\00:08:19.76
that was to be
also worshiped as well.

But there is a third prediction

concerning the global
influence of the United States.

And I want you to notice
what it will finally force

upon the world as well.

And it's found in

"He causes all..."

Now, the he is
referring to this second beast,

the United States of America.

notice how universal it will be,

that's a force there,

"to receive a mark
on their right hand

or on their fore heads,

and that no one
may buy or sell."

An economic boycott
is involved in this.

"Except one who has the
mark or the name of the beast,

or the number of his name."

It's to this
important subject, friends,

that we now turn
the mark of the beast.

Just as the Bible teaches
that there will be two worships,

days when Jesus will come.

choose one of those two,

So the Bible also teaches
that there will be two marks

or seals of authority

that will
demonstrate people's allegiance

to their choice of worship.

Let's consider
the first of these,

it's referred to in the
Bible as the seal of God

placed on the foreheads
of the servants of God.

In reading the
Book of Revelation

from Jesus,

we read
something very interesting

in Chapter 6 and 7,

that helps us to
understand this seal.

So let's look together at
the Book of Revelation 6:14,

"Then the sky

when it is rolled up

and every mountain was
moved out of its place."

Now these verses
that we're going to read

are describing the
second coming of Christ

and its effect upon the world,

particularly upon those

who are not ready to meet Jesus.

And it goes on to say,

"And the kings of the earth,

rich men, the commanders,

the mighty men, every

those who are not
ready to meet Jesus,

"hid themselves in the caves

rocks on the mountains

mountains and rocks,

'Fall on us and hide us

from the face of Him
who sits on the throne

A terrible scene

delayed or not wanted

lives over to Jesus

When the second coming comes,

Then we notice the next verse,

what they will ask

These people are
not ready to meet Jesus,

but as they think of
what they're about to suffer

when the great day
of His wrath has come.

The question
comes to their mind,

who will be able
to stand in that day?

And the answer is

angel ascending from the east,

having the seal
of the living God.

And he cried with a loud voice

To be authentic, all such seals,

and I've looked at a
few of them in my life.

All such seals must
have three components

to be true seals,

to indicate the authority
of the one giving this law.

And what are those three things?

First of all, they
all must name the lawgiver

for obvious reasons.

Who's giving this law?

must be given in the seal,

the title or the status.

Is he entitled to pass laws?

Or is he the king
