00:49 Alright everybody, let's get right to it. 00:51 In the book of 2 Peter 1:12, the Bible says, Wherefore I will not 00:59 be negligent to put you always in remembrance of these things, 01:02 though ye know them, and be established 01:07 in the present truth. 01:09 Now what apostle Peter is telling us here, 01:12 under the inspiration of the Spirit of God, is that there's 01:15 some information that God's people are knowledgeable of. 01:18 You know they already know it all already. 01:20 However, although they already know this information, 01:23 although they're already very familiar with this information, 01:26 it is absolutely imperative, it is of the utmost importance 01:31 that this very same information that they know is continuously 01:35 taught to them over, and over, and over again. 01:39 Because this is the only means by which they will be 01:43 established in the present truth. 01:46 My question to all of you today is this, What is present truth? 01:52 I can just imagine some of you are at home right now scratching 01:56 your heads, saying all types of interesting comments 02:00 to the screen right now. 02:02 Just hold on a minute. 02:03 Before we answer this question, What is present truth? 02:07 I want us to take some time to go through the Bible to see what 02:11 the word of God defines as truth. 02:14 Because if we can come to a clear understanding as to what 02:18 the Bible defines as truth, then we will know with a certainty 02:22 what present truth is for us. 02:25 Are you ready? Well, let's begin. 02:27 In the book of Deuteronomy 32:4, the Bible says, He is the Rock, 02:34 his works are perfect: for all his ways are judgment: 02:38 a God of truth and without iniquity, just and right is he. 02:44 So 1. God is truth. 02:47 Then in the book of Psalm 119: 142, the Bible tells us: 02:53 Thy righteousness is an everlasting righteousness, 02:57 and thy law is the truth. 03:00 So Psalm 119:142, the law is truth. 03:05 Then dropping down in that same chapter, Psalm 119, all the way 03:10 down to verse 151, the Bible goes on to say: Thou art near, 03:15 O Lord, and all thy commandments are truth. 03:19 So the commandments are truth in Psalm 119:151, the law of God 03:24 is truth in Psalm 119:142. 03:27 I'm just trying to help you to remember the Scriptures. 03:30 Then in the book of John 14:6, the Bible goes on to say, 03:35 and Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, and the truth, 03:40 and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. 03:45 So Jesus as well, of course, is truth. 03:49 Then in John 16:13 the Bible says, Howbeit when he, 03:54 the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: 03:59 for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall 04:02 hear, that shall he speak: and he will show you things to come. 04:07 The Spirit of God as well, according 04:10 to the Bible, is truth. 04:12 And then, in the book of John 17:17, we are told: 04:19 Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth. 04:25 So let's summarize all of the information now that we have 04:28 learned from the Holy Bible: God is truth, the law is truth, 04:33 The commandments are truth, Jesus is truth, The Spirit of 04:37 God, the Holy Spirit, is truth. 04:38 And the word of God, from which we have gained all of this 04:42 information, is definitely truth. 04:46 All of these together comprise absolute truth. 04:50 Nothing can be added, nothing can be subtracted. 04:53 This is truth in its totality. Wow! 04:58 But the question still stands, What is present truth? 05:03 We've found out what truth is now, but what is present truth? 05:08 This is extremely important. 05:10 And as we go now to the book of Revelation 14, we are going to 05:15 find some information that will break this whole 05:18 thing open for us. 05:20 Are you ready? Well, let's go. 05:21 In the book of Revelation 14:1, the Bible tells us, 05:27 And I looked, and, lo, a Lamb stood on the mount Zion, 05:32 and with him an hundred forty and four thousand, 05:35 having his Father's name written in their foreheads. 05:40 Now we see in Revelation 14:1 that there is a Lamb standing 05:45 on the mount Zion. 05:46 And we know that we're looking at the book of Revelation. 05:49 The book of Revelation is filled with codes and symbols. 05:53 So this Lamb must be a symbol of something or someone. 05:58 Now what is this Lamb a symbol of? 06:01 Well, the Bible gives us the answer in the book of John, 06:04 John 1:29. We are told there: The next day John seeth Jesus 06:12 coming unto him, and saith, Behold the Lamb of God, 06:17 which taketh away the sin of the world. 06:20 In the Bible, the Lamb is a symbol of Jesus Christ, 06:24 as the atoning sacrifice for the sins of all of humanity. 06:29 Jesus died that we might be made at one 06:32 with the Father again. 06:34 So when we look in Revelation 14:1, and we see this Lamb 06:39 standing on the mount Zion, what we're looking at is 06:42 a symbol of Jesus Christ as the atoning sacrifice for the 06:46 sins of you and I. 06:48 But this is very interesting, because we learned earlier 06:52 in that same book of the Bible, the book of John, in chapter 14, 06:56 and verse 6, that Jesus Christ is as well the truth. 07:00 Remember that Jesus said, I am the way, the truth, 07:04 and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. 07:07 But the Lamb is as well a symbol of Jesus. 07:11 If the Lamb is a symbol of Jesus, and Jesus is the truth, 07:15 then the Lamb must also be truth. 07:18 Because Jesus and the Lamb are One, 07:21 and Jesus and the truth are One as well. 07:24 They are all interchangeable. 07:27 Hum, very interesting. 07:28 So when we go back to the book of Revelation 14:1, 07:33 and we see this Lamb, we know that this Lamb is a symbol 07:37 of Jesus, but we know that this Lamb is also 07:41 a symbol of the truth. 07:42 And what I'm about to show you is that as we follow this Lamb, 07:47 we will find out what present truth is. 07:50 In the book of Revelation 14:2, the Bible tells us: 08:22 Pay close attention to what information is found 08:26 within Revelation 14:4 now. 08:40 Hold on a second! These are they that follow the Lamb 08:45 withersoever he goeth? 08:47 But that Lamb is Jesus! 08:49 So these are they which follow Jesus withersoever he goeth. 08:55 But that Lamb that is Jesus is also the truth, 08:59 so these are they that follow the truth, 09:03 withersoever the truth goeth. 09:07 That means wherever the Lamb presently is, wherever Jesus 09:12 presently is, is where the truth presently is, 09:15 and that is present truth. 09:19 So my question to you is this, Where is Jesus, 09:24 who is the truth, presently? 09:26 Well, we can find the answer to this question 09:29 in the book of Romans, Romans 8:34. 09:33 The Bible tells us there: 09:47 So Jesus Christ is presently, or the truth is presently, 09:51 at the right hand of God, making intercession for us. 09:55 The Bible gives us more information on this in the book 09:59 of Hebrews, Hebrews 8:1. 10:02 The Bible goes on to say there, Now of the things which we have 10:06 spoken this is the sum: We have such a high priest, 10:11 who is set on the right hand of the throne of the Majesty 10:15 in the heavens; a minister of the sanctuary, and of the true 10:19 tabernacle, which the Lord pitched, and not man. 10:22 So presently Jesus Christ, who is the truth, is at the right 10:27 hand of the throne of God, the Majesty in heaven. 10:31 He is officiating as the high priest of humanity, 10:34 and He is interceding for all of humanity. 10:37 But this is very interesting, because if Jesus Christ is our 10:42 high priest, and He is interceding, that must mean 10:46 that there is a case pending at the bar 10:49 of God's judgment hall. 10:51 Because only one that has a case that is pending in the court 10:56 system needs an intercessor. 10:58 Is this what the Bible teaches? 11:00 It teaches exactly this: in the book of Daniel 7:9, 11:07 we are told there: I beheld till the thrones were cast down, 11:13 or the thrones were set up in place, 11:15 and the Ancient of days did sit, whose garment was white as snow, 11:20 and the hair of his head like the pure wool: 11:23 his throne was like the fiery flame, 11:26 and his wheels as burning fire. 11:28 A fiery stream issued and came forth from before him: 11:32 thousand thousands ministered unto him, 11:35 and ten thousand times ten thousand stood before him: 11:44 Ladies and gentlemen, we have just discovered 11:47 what the present truth is. 11:50 Presently, according to the book of Hebrews 8:1 Jesus Christ, 11:56 who is the truth, is standing at the right hand of the throne 12:01 of God in the heavenly sanctuary within the precincts 12:04 of the most holy place; a place in which there is an immense 12:09 amount of activity according to the book of Daniel 7:10. 12:14 Ten thousand times ten thousands of angels are going and coming 12:18 at the bidding of God the Father. 12:20 Because they are fully immersed in this work of judgment, 12:25 which God Himself has initiated. 12:27 And in this work of judgment God is looking through the books 12:31 and He is reviewing the characters of every human being 12:35 that has ever lived since the beginning of the 12:39 existence of Planet Earth. 12:41 And when our names come up in this work of judgment, 12:45 there will be nothing that is hid from the all seeing 12:49 eye of God Almighty. 12:51 For the Bible tells us in the book of Ecclesiastics 12:14, 12:57 For God shall bring every work into judgment, 13:01 with every secret thing, whether it be good, 13:04 or whether it be evil. 13:07 But, Praise God, that He is not willing that any of us should 13:11 perish, but that all of us should come to repentance, 13:14 according to 2 Peter 3:9. 13:17 This is why He provided the Lamb of God to take away 13:21 the sin of the world. 13:23 Because in this work of judgment God is weighing our characters 13:27 against His holy law, against His holy commandments, 13:31 because they are the standard of truth. 13:34 And the Bible says in the book of 1 John 3:4, 13:39 Whosoever committeth sin transgresseth also the law: 13:42 for sin is the transgression of the law. 13:45 If we are found disobeying any one of God's ten commandments, 13:49 we are found in sin, and we will be found 13:53 wanting in the judgment. 13:54 But the Lamb of God, Jesus Christ, gave His life to take 13:58 away our sins, and that is why God has appointed Him, 14:02 established Him to be our high priest in this work of judgment. 14:07 He is standing there interceding on all of our behalf's. 14:12 He is trying to make sure that all of us will take hold of the 14:16 power of the Spirit of Truth so that by the instrumentality 14:20 of this, the third person of the Godhead, working within our 14:24 hearts, we will be cleansed and sanctified by the word of truth. 14:29 So when God looks upon our characters, He will see the 14:33 reflection of Jesus Christ. 14:35 Because no man cometh unto the Father but by Jesus Christ, 14:40 who is the way, the truth, and the life. 14:44 But oh how quickly is the time of mercy fleeing 14:49 from the presence of humanity. 14:51 For as the seconds of the clock are collapsing into eternity, 14:56 so also is the work of judgment moving forward with rapidity 15:01 in the courts of God's holy temple. 15:04 And when God comes upon the last name, and He reviews the 15:09 last character, then the books of judgment shall be shut. 15:15 And mercy will never again plead for the soul of the lost sinner. 15:21 It's over! And the Bible tells us that at this time a very 15:27 magnificent scene will take place within heaven. 15:31 In the book of Revelation 15:1 we are told: And I saw another 15:38 sign in heaven, great and marvelous, 15:41 seven angels having the seven last plagues; 15:44 for in them is filled up the wrath of God. 15:48 Then in Revelation 16:1 the Bible goes on to say: 15:54 And I heard a great voice out of the temple saying to the seven 15:59 angels, Go your ways, and pour out the vials of the wrath 16:04 of God upon the earth. 16:07 The time is now approaching when the decree will be given 16:11 to the seven angels to go their ways, and wing their flight 16:15 towards Planet Earth to carry out their 16:18 mission of destruction. 16:19 And I can just imagine there are people that are thinking that 16:24 when they see destruction coming upon Planet Earth, 16:27 when they see calamity being poured out upon humanity, 16:32 and men are literally chewing their own tongues, 16:36 because of the pain, and the anguish that they are 16:40 experiencing, as a result of the tormenting nature of these 16:44 plagues, then they'll fall on their knees, then they'll cry 16:48 out to Jesus and ask Jesus to save them. 16:51 Because isn't that the reason why Jesus died on the cross? 16:54 to save us and have mercy on us? 16:57 My friend, I hope that you are not allowing the Devil 17:02 to deceive you into believing, or thinking this type of lie. 17:06 Because the Bible is very clear that something is going 17:11 to happen in the temple at the time when the seven angels 17:15 are pouring out the plagues. 17:17 We are told what this is in the book of Revelation 15:8. 17:24 The Bible tells us there, And the temple was filled with smoke 17:29 from the glory of God, and from his power; 17:33 and no man was able to enter into the temple, 17:38 till the seven plagues of the seven angels were fulfilled. 17:43 This poses a huge dilemma for the person that says, 17:49 I want to serve God. 17:50 And I'll serve God with all of my heart, and all my soul, 17:53 and all my strength, but I'll serve Him tomorrow. 17:56 Because today I've got other things 17:59 I want to do with my life. 18:00 This poses a huge dilemma for the young person that says, 18:06 God, I have my whole life in front of me. 18:08 I haven't been able to experience anything yet. 18:11 Lord, I'll serve you, but after I get my car, and buy my house, 18:15 and get married, and get my college degree, 18:18 and get my bank account. 18:19 Then I'll serve you, God. 18:21 But just give me more time. 18:23 Oh my young friend, I hope you're not thinking like this. 18:28 Because the Bible says that when the temple is filled with smoke, 18:33 no man will be able to enter into the temple. 18:38 And the Bible tells us in the book of 1 Timothy 2:5, 18:46 For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, 18:53 the man Christ Jesus. 18:57 You see, Jesus Christ is not only standing at the right hand 19:03 of the throne of God presently as our high priest, 19:07 you see, Jesus Christ is not only presently standing at the 19:12 right hand of the throne of God, in the most holy place of the 19:17 heavenly sanctuary as our mediator, 19:20 and as our intercessor. 19:22 Jesus Christ is standing at the right hand of the throne of God, 19:29 located in the temple that is located in heaven 19:33 as the representative of humanity as well. 19:37 And when the temple of God is filled with smoke, Jesus Christ, 19:43 as the representative of humanity, will remove Himself 19:49 from the right hand of the throne of God. 19:51 He will step out of the holy temple, and He will remove the 19:56 robes of the high priestly garments, and He will remove 20:00 Himself from the work of mediating, and interceding 20:05 for the sins of humanity. 20:06 And instead of this work, and instead of those garments, 20:11 He will place upon Himself the robes of vengeance, 20:14 and He will take upon Himself now the work of judgment. 20:19 And then the proclamation of 20:25 will come to pass. 20:26 He that is unjust, let him be unjust still: 20:30 and he which is filthy, let him be filthy still: 20:33 and he that is righteous, let him be righteous still: 20:36 and he that is holy, let him be holy still. 20:40 And behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, 20:44 to give to every man according as his work shall be. 20:49 It is at this point that all of humanity are divided into two 20:54 groups: the filthy, and the holy. 20:56 And these two groups are developed as a result 21:00 of a choice, a choice that will be made by every thinking person 21:04 that is alive at that time. 21:07 And the choice will be about worship, for the Bible shows us 21:11 that the final controversy that will ensue upon Planet Earth 21:16 just prior to the second coming of Jesus Christ, 21:20 will be all about worship, and the pouring out of the seven 21:25 last plagues, which is the pouring out of the wrath of God. 21:29 This is taking place as a manifestation of God's great 21:34 displeasure with a false system of worship that will be 21:38 legislated and promoted by the nations of our world. 21:43 And this false system of worship will be accepted by billions 21:49 of men and women. The Bible tells us in the Book of 21:53 Revelation 14:9, And the third angel followed saying, 21:59 with a loud voice, If any man worship the beast and his image, 22:04 and receive his mark in his forehead, or in his hand, 22:07 the same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, 22:12 which is poured out without mixture into the cup of his 22:15 indignation: and he shall be tormented with fire and 22:19 brimstone in the presence of the holy angels, 22:22 and in the presence of the Lamb. 22:24 Those poor souls which will surrender their minds 22:28 to receiving this false worship system of the beast, 22:32 that will be legislated and enforced by the civil 22:36 governments of our world. 22:38 Those poor souls that will choose to hold on with all of 22:42 their might to their houses and their lands, 22:45 their cars and their jobs, their money and their bank accounts, 22:49 and their food in their refrigerators, 22:52 these will be the individuals that receive 22:54 the seven last plagues: the wrath of God. 22:58 And the most solemn thing about this whole situation is that 23:03 they will be tormented in the presence of the very same holy 23:07 angels that flew at the speed of light from heaven to earth, 23:12 back and forth, every day seeking to encourage them 23:16 to grab hold of the gift of salvation. 23:19 And even more solemn than that, they will be tormented 23:23 in the presence of the very Lamb of God that was slain 23:28 to take away their sins. 23:30 But they refused His invitation. Have mercy! 23:35 But there is yet another group of individuals that are 23:39 in existence, a group of individuals that refuse 23:43 to receive the false worship system of the beast. 23:46 These individuals reject any institution of worship that is 23:51 established upon the authority of man, and not established 23:56 upon the authority of God's holy word, the word of truth. 24:01 And because they stand firm upon the word of God, and will not be 24:06 moved from God's commandments, they do not receive the wrath 24:11 of God, for they are hidden within the love and care 24:15 of Jesus Christ from all harm and danger. 24:19 They have received the worship of the true and living God; 24:24 a worship that is spoken of in the book of Revelation. 24:32 The Bible tells us there: And I saw another angel fly in the 24:37 midst of heaven, having the everlasting gospel to preach 24:41 unto them that dwell on the earth, and to every nation, 24:45 and kindred, and tongue, and people, saying with a loud 24:49 voice, Fear God, and give glory to him; for the hour of his 24:54 judgment is come: and worship him that made heaven, 24:59 and the earth, and the sea, and the fountains of waters. 25:04 These individuals cannot be swayed by bribes nor threats, 25:09 for they have made an unwavering decision to lovingly reverence 25:14 and fear God; for they knew that the Bible said in the book of 25:20 The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom. 25:24 These individuals will not allow their minds, 25:27 and their characters to be molded by the 25:30 minds of other men. 25:32 Because they know that it is important for them to 25:35 give glory to God; for to give glory to God is to reveal 25:39 the character of God. 25:40 And this is the reason for which every human being was created. 25:44 The Bible tells us this in Isaiah 43:7. 25:49 We are told there: even every one that is called by my name: 25:54 for I have created him for my glory, I have formed him; 25:58 yea, I have made him. 26:01 And because these individuals choose to fear God, 26:05 and give glory to God, and God alone, they are prepared 26:09 to stand in the hour of judgment, which is now. 26:13 For it is now that Jesus Christ is standing at the right hand 26:17 of the throne of God. 26:19 It is now that the Father has the books open reviewing the 26:23 characters of humanity. 26:24 It is now that all of heaven is in activity, seeking to draw 26:29 humanity to the throne of God, that we might obtain mercy, 26:33 and grace to help in this, our time of need. 26:36 And they realize that the present truth was to surrender 26:40 their hearts to Jesus Christ so that His nail pierced hands 26:44 could reach into their hearts, and cleanse them from every 26:49 hereditary and cultivated sin that would keep them from being 26:53 found hidden in the love of the Savior. 26:56 They stood in the judgment hour because they worshipped 27:00 the ever living God who made the heavens, and the earth, the sea, 27:06 and the fountains of waters. 27:08 And according to the book of Exodus 20 starting at verse 8, 27:13 this God is the Lord of the Sabbath day. 27:17 For we are told in Exodus 20:11: 27:35 In these last days, God will have a people that in the face 27:41 of peril, hunger, and death, will stand firm for God, 27:47 and love Him with all of their heart, with all of their soul, 27:51 with all of their strength; for they will keep all 27:55 of His commandments. 27:57 For the Bible tells us in 1 John 5:3, For this is the love 28:03 of God, that we keep his commandments: 28:06 and his commandments are not grievous. 28:08 And this is why John the Revelator, under the inspiration 28:13 of the Spirit of God, makes this final proclamation over this 28:18 special group in Revelation 14:12. 28:23 We are told there: Here is the patience of the saints: 28:27 here are they that keep the commandments of God, 28:31 and the faith of Jesus. 28:34 My friends, I pray that each and every one of you will be 28:39 in that number that will stand fast and true to God's 28:44 commandments, though the heavens may fall, 28:47 and all of earth will be against you, Jesus will never leave 28:52 one of His beloved children. 28:55 May you be established forever in this, 28:59 which is the present truth.
