In the Bible, in the

important prophetic principle

share with you this evening

before we get into our message.
00:11:30.55\00:11:33.12
In Ecclesiastes 3:
15, the Bible says,
00:11:33.15\00:11:36.12
"That which hath been is now;
00:11:36.16\00:11:38.09
and that which is to
be hath already been;
00:11:38.13\00:11:40.46
and God requireth
that which is past."
00:11:40.50\00:11:42.90
In other words,
00:11:42.93\00:11:44.27
the things that have
taken place in the past,
00:11:44.30\00:11:46.00
they're taking place right
now in our present day society,
00:11:46.03\00:11:48.40
and the things
that will take place
00:11:48.44\00:11:49.80
in the future,

they have at
least, in principle,
00:11:51.24\00:11:52.57
taking place in the past,
00:11:52.61\00:11:53.94
and therefore, God
requires, He commands

that we know
the historic events,

especially those that
have been impacted people

throughout antiquity so
that we can better understand

what is going on
right now in our world,

and what we can
expect to transpire

in the very near future.

We need to
understand these things.

And so, with that point
in mind, I want to take you

to a very
important book in the Bible,

and that's the
Book of Revelation,

and we're going go
to the sixth chapter.

The Bible tells us
something very important there.

We're gonna begin at verse 1.

The Bible says,

"And I saw when the Lamb
had opened one of the seals,

and I heard, as it
were the noise of thunder,

one of the four beasts
saying, 'Come and see.'

And I saw, and
behold a white horse

and he that sat on him had a bow

and a crown was given unto him

conquering, and to conquer.

Now, what we've
just looked that here

because you'll notice,

under the opening up of
the very first four seals,

you see horses
proceeding out of those seals.

The Bible tells us in
the Book of Proverbs 21: 31,

that, "The horse is prepared
against the day of battle
00:15:20.78\00:15:24.19
but salvation is of the Lord."

So, in the Bible,

a horse can stand
as a symbol of battle

and this is what
we are looking at,

in Revelation Chapter 6,

we're looking at
the people of God

entering the battlefield
of the great controversy,

and the historical
events that are portrayed

in prophetic language

take us all the way
from beginning of which,

the church
enters the battlefield

of the great controversy,

until the events that are seen
in the heavens and on the earth

that clearly foreshadowed

that the day of a
second coming of Jesus Christ

is upon humanity.

Now the reason why I find
this Chapter so intriguing,

and by the way,
just I can give you

a little bit of
the history there.

For instance,

the first seal you see
a white horse going out.

Clearly, you don't have to
be a theologian to figure out

that white is
dealing with purity.

We're looking at
the Christian Church
00:16:08.53\00:16:10.00
and its purity,

we're looking at
the Christian Church,

when it was filled
with the Holy Ghost.

It had a bow and
arrow in its hand,

because the bow
and arrow is the weapon

that's used for
long distance combat.

This is dealing with the far
reaching effects of the gospel

during the time
period of this era.

Matter of fact, the apostle Paul

makes this statement that,

"The gospel went to
the whole then known world

at this time frame.

But, then when the
second seal opens up,

there's a change in
the color of the horse.

It's red.

The horse changes in color

because, there's a change
