that there is something

people would leave churches

They may go to another

Jesus finds Himself in a game.

In a game that He didn't create,

has become a player

in a sick twisted scheme.

You see, Mark introduces us

into a social campaign of Jesus.

You see, Mark is an action
book when you look at Mathew,

when you read the books of
Luke and when you read John.

All of them
especially Mathew and Luke,

they start off
with Jesus' genealogy.

They going to His birth

and they go in to
His up-bring a little,

but no Mark begins
his gospel by singing

in the beginning of good news.

So the reason why
he runs to Jesus Christ

that the Son of Man

has power here on
earth and power in heaven

And so as a result of
them talking about Him,

whole church in one second

purchase sacrifices to

and ostracized from the temple

ministering to these people

because it was in the
temple that the laws were made,

it was in the temple
that everything was done,

it was in the
temple where you got

your sense of living
and your sense of being,

but if you were sick you
couldn't be in the temple.

As a matter of fact,

prices of the sacrifices

and Jesus went and
turned the tables over.

Because Jesus was
saying "how are you selling,

what I'm giving away for free,

why are you
making this so expensive

that poor people
can't buy what they need

to have their sins forgiven?

And after Jesus
flipped the tables

when you read in John
what does Jesus do next?

He calls the poor,
the sick, and the lame

to come inside of the temple.

Because obviously
what the Jews were doing
00:27:40.70\00:27:43.11
was an injustice.
00:27:43.14\00:27:45.10
They were
abusing the word of God,

they were charging
usury to their own people,
00:27:47.41\00:27:50.14
they were collecting
money of a poor people.
00:27:50.17\00:27:53.11
When the lady throws
her might into the temple
00:27:53.14\00:27:56.23
the last of her money,
00:27:56.26\00:27:57.67
there was a
condemnation in that text
00:27:57.70\00:27:59.87
because in that text the temple
is taking poor people's money
00:27:59.90\00:28:03.30
and they are not offering
services to these poor people.

And so here Jesus says,
I'm come to change this,

I don't like what I
see what's going on.

And in verse 22 Jesus
gives His campaigns slogan

Jesus says "New wine
calls for new wineskins."

And so this is His
slogan that He is going to use

as he ministers in Capernaum.

He says "out with the
old and in with the new."

This is a new society

and a new world with new trends

people in low income areas
