kind of pain because

Jack was a successful
businessman in his midlife.

And as he got older
he fell into company

of a young lady
that took him down

that dark path
that changed his life

up to this time far worse.

Jack had lost
everything that he had amassed

and he was really a
very, well an upper,
00:06:35.54\00:06:38.96
he was not a wealthy
man but he had means.

But he had given it all away
00:06:46.01\00:06:48.17
following the path
of this young lady.

And not only had he
followed her passions.

But she also
introduced him to drugs.

And after he had lost
everything that he had,

of course she
had no use for him.

And so she told Jack to get lost
00:07:10.19\00:07:13.28
that simply enough for
Jack to get lost from her.

But he could not
get lost from what she
00:07:18.44\00:07:21.46
introduced him
to, and that was that
00:07:21.47\00:07:24.71
quick fix of crystal meth.
00:07:24.72\00:07:28.24
He was hooked. His
life was miserable.
00:07:28.25\00:07:32.56
As a young man
he went to church,
00:07:32.57\00:07:35.64
but his time went
on he got successful.
00:07:35.65\00:07:38.11
He started making money his God.
00:07:38.12\00:07:41.66
And so he had
lost that relationship,

but he never
forgot what it was like
00:07:43.56\00:07:47.94
to have that tender loving care
00:07:47.95\00:07:50.26
of his Father Jesus
Christ, God the Holy Spirit.

So Jack wanted that
back and as he watching 3ABN,

he saw the number down
00:07:58.84\00:08:00.64
in the right
corner and he called.
00:08:00.65\00:08:03.68
And yes it was a
divine appointment.

So we go back,
and Jack I would like

"Jack be anxious for nothing

It reminds me a story of Johnny.

Little Johnny was
turning 7 years old.

Johnny was excited
because his birthday
00:10:47.67\00:10:49.71
was just a couple of days off.
00:10:49.72\00:10:51.44
And he had been asking
his parents for rollerblades.
00:10:52.74\00:10:55.58
But they had not got them yet
00:10:56.86\00:10:58.46
and so the day
of his birthday came
00:10:58.47\00:11:00.84
and oh, he just couldn't wait
00:11:00.85\00:11:02.65
to getup that
morning and to run in.

And yes, mother
and daddy got him

a set of rollerblades.

But before he could
put his rollerblades on,

they sat Johnny down

and they will have a
little man to boy talk.

And they said listen Johnny

we love you with
all of our hearts.

And we are so happy that,

that you've got
a new gift today.

But I want you to know
one thing Johnny that you

have to be very
careful with these rollerblades

But I did promise
mamma that we wouldn't

get out on the street
because we could get hurt.

Now you can just imagine

the swelling in mamma's heart,

because Johnny had
heard what she had said.

He had internalized
it and turned around

it to his friends.

with affirmations

when we take Jesus word
and we take it, we claim it.

then we take that inspired word

and all Jack was wanting
was to get back in society.

But he didn't know how because

he had to get rid of this,

this cruds that he
had called crystal meth.

But we know that
there is something

that's better out there
and that is God's promises.

Let's go to Isaiah 32:17,

"The fruit of
righteousness will be peace;

the effect of righteousness

will be quietness
and confidence forever."

What I like to do is
bring an analogy in right now.

You have an apple,
you have an apple tree.

So it's going to
produce what? Apples!
