Among Christ
disciples, they were twelve,

a look at just one,

disciples. One of his disciples

talk about very much,

a disciple that
we just don't share

that much about
but I believe he is

very important. I want you to

take a look at
John Chapter 1 and verse

"Again, the next day,

John stood with
two of his disciples",

as John the
Baptist. And looking at

the Jesus as he walked,

the Lamb of God!"

The two
disciples heard him speak,

and they followed
Jesus. Then Jesus turned,

Scriptures, in the Gospels.

He is talked
about thirteen times;

six times he is
seen as Peter's brother.

John of course in his Gospel,

he talks about
himself as the other disciple,

the other
disciple. Both of those were

wanted to see
Jesus, they were wanted

to get to know him better.

They were wanted to
learn more about him.

They wanted to make
sure that they didn't

miss one thing.
They want to know

the messiah,
intimately. They in just want

a short Interview,
beside the road they

didn't want just
eat lunch with him,

they wanted to
see where he lived,

and get to know him personally.

Andrew and
John, they listened to

the Holy Spirits
call and they responded

to the John the Baptist message.

And when he said this
is the behold Lamp of God,

this is the messiah they wanted

to find out more. They wanted to

so those two responded.

spend time with Jesus.

Well I want to take a look,

says, "Now after six days

Jesus took
Peter, James, and John,

and led them up
on a high mountain,

apart by themselves; and he was

transfigured before them".

Now what happened
here? We have Peter,

James and John being in
the mountain with Jesus,

the mountain of Transfiguration,

those three were with him.

At the Christ Summary Peter,

James and John were with Jesus.

What happened to Andrew?

Where was Andrew
during this time,

He was not part of inner three.

What was Andrew's mission?

that he was to play

But it seems like
Andrew did not hold a grudge.

who had spent time with Jesus,

and his reaction to that.

He had listened to him,

we don't know how long it was,

but we heard he
had spent time with

Jesus and wanted to go,

and take another
look at sharing what

he has found with someone else.

In John chapter
1; verses 41 and 42,

it says, He first
found his own brother Simon,

and said unto him,

"we have found the Messiah".

And he brought him to Jesus.

The conviction that he found

Jesus was the Messiah,

Andrew has been
convinced and he wanted

and that was his brother.

He wanted to go and
share with his brother,

and say we have
found the one that

the Prophets have
been talking about.

We have found
the one as a family

the Baptist have been

need to just learn more

And so he goes to his

brother Peter and
says you got to come,

come. That was part of

what the Andrew
was as a disciple.

He went to his
brother and brought

him to Jesus, so Peter can learn

about Jesus

are they among so many?

Then Jesus said,

So the men sat

Jesus took the loaves,

take a look at this,

everybody is following Jesus

Matter of fact when
I was over in Israel

it was awesome
to come to a place

it was just a
southern end of sea

of Galleli it was
a nice grassy field

so I can just
picture Jesus there

with all those people.

As He shared with them,

they got
hungry, they got hungry.

And nobody had
]an idea what to do.

Jesus asked Philip the question,

to test him, but
Andrew had already

been working a
hard time thinking

of what to do
because in my mind I see

Andrew walking along with Jesus

and all of a sudden,
there's this little boy
00:09:16.89\00:09:18.81
with the basket
something that his
00:09:19.63\00:09:21.53
mother had given to him,
00:09:21.54\00:09:22.62
and said if you get
hungry here you have
00:09:22.63\00:09:25.31
something that you can eat.
00:09:25.32\00:09:27.02
And so, of course
Andrew gets to know him,

gets a talk with
him, find out who he was

and where he is
from, and then when that

question came up of how to eat.

But a friendship had developed

between the two of them.

Andrew brings the boys

gets to eat that lunch,

and it was multiplied

thousand people were fed

brought the little boy with

Jesus. Andrew brought

him to Jesus, so he could share.

incidence that I believe we

certain Greeks
among those who came up

to worship at the feast.

Then they came to Philip,

Bethsaida of Galilee,

and asked him, saying, "Sir,

we wish to see Jesus."

Philip came and told Andrew,

and in turn Andrew
and Philip told Jesus.

Here we find an
awesome time again

of what Andrew was all about.

Andrew was about to
bringing people to Jesus.

The Greeks came
wanting to find out

more about Jesus themselves,

and they came to
Philip, may be he was

the first one they talk to.

But Philip
wanted to go to Andrew,

because Andrew
was known as the one

who brought others to Jesus.

He was one that
Philip knew that Andrew

would know what to do.

And so Philip went
to Andrew and Philip

and Andrew came
and brought the Greeks

to Jesus. Of
course we find that Philip

and Andrew were of
the same city or town,
00:11:39.02\00:11:41.96
Bethsaida. So they probably
00:11:42.15\00:11:44.00
grew up together,
they knew each other.
00:11:44.01\00:11:45.61
They were aware of
each other strengths.

And Philip knew
that Andrew was a bringer

of others to
Jesus. Andrew had faith,

Andrew knew exactly what to do

and Andrew believed in Jesus,

and knew that he
would have the answer

that he could
give to the Greeks.

And so they brought
the Greeks to Jesus,

because I believe
all of us are seeking

to know Jesus, but
all of us are looking

for that special
person in our lives that

we can't find
anywhere else on this earth.

No one in our families,

knows exactly about us

and what we need as Jesus does.

Andrew was a follower of Jesus,

to do in our lives,

We need to follow
him one hundred percent,

then come follow me,

We need to do the same,

bound up in our own nets,

what we have to do

in the relationships

Sometimes we did get

of being busy. Jesus says come

and follow me,

He will take care of
the nets for each of us,
