about a very special day

the Lord. I have many

special days with the Lord now,

but this one particularly
stood out of my mind

as a day of learning
that we really can be with

the Lord and He
wants to be with us.

He wants to be
at our right side.
00:00:55.03\00:00:57.09
He wants to direct
us through the day.

One evening as I
was kneeling by my bed,

closing the day
in prayer to my Lord.

I was praying,
sharing all the things that

were on my mind and
then I was listening.

You know communication,

if you think about
it, is a two way process,

if it's effective communication,

it isn't just one
person doing all the talking.

The Lord really
does wanna commune

with our hearts
and He wants us to be

still and know that He is God.

And so at the end
of my sharing with

and this thought came to my mind

down. It was a challenge

So here's the Lord preparing me

day that tomorrow is going

to be a special day
that I can know that

through the entire day.

Christ wants this kind of

You know its interesting

in Isaiah 15 in the
fourth verse. It says,

morning by morning.

Is he waking you
morning by morning,

He wants to be.
He wants to be a part

of our lives from
the beginning of the new

day until we close
it. It says, He wakeneth

me morning by
morning, He wakeneth my ear

to hear as the
learned. Are you waking up with

the Lord and when you wake up,

part that we have
to face and that is,

what will we do
with the choice that God

gives us. That's
the part that we have.

He's done his

us in the
morning, He's called to us,

He's reminded us
that He wants to be there

the choice is up to me.

I have a choice,
by faith to accept His

It doesn't seem so

Now we might not say
that in reality the way

I just said it.
But the question is,

are we really
saying it in our response.

Are we saying to
the Lord as we rollover

and turn our back to
Him that I don't really

guiding me through

the day. I don't
really wanna do it your way.

I wanna start this
day by doing it my way.

And the way I
wanna do it my way is to

now, because I don't

feel like getting
up and having communion

there again to chapter 50

of Isaiah in verses
four and five, it says,

morning by morning,

He wakeneth my ear
to hear as the learned

and the verse five says,
And I was not rebellious,

neither turned away
back. Oh what a blessing.

Let's take the practical
application of that now

He's waken us, are
we gonna turn our back

on Him?
Physically, spiritually, are we

gonna turn our back
or we gonna be responding

to His awakening
and saying yes Lord,

I wanna be with you today.

Well I remembered my prayer,

I remembered that I
ask Him to remind me.

And I have remembered
this day I was going to

be with Christ.
This day was not going

to be just the day
of doing things my way.

It was gonna be
a day with Christ.

So, I was aware of His presence,

I was aware of His
call and I began my

day on my knees with the Lord.

And I went through
my prayer time with

the Lord and I like
to pray and what I call

gospel order. I found
it will be very meaningful.

That means that the
first thing I need to

pray about is my
personal need of a

leaving connection to Christ.

I need a new
heart, I need a spirit put

within me, I need to
take, the Lord to take

out this stony
heart out of my flesh and

give me a new heart,
a clean heart and that's

where I start with my
prayers in the morning,

because I know
that without Him I'm not

gonna have a
very good day, because

self's way does not
work. Have you found

that to be the
case. My way doesn't work,

but when I
surrendered myself to God

and I enter into His
way, so I opened myself up,

began to pray, then I
like to pray for my wife,

for my children. I
call it gospel order

because its first the
individual, myself to God

and then its my
marriage, then its
00:07:06.55\00:07:08.57
my family, then
its my wider circle.

And so I finished
praying and making

my needs known to
God and I said Lord,

is there
anything this morning that

you wanna put on
my heart and it was

interesting the Lord
brought three families

especially to my
mind. And I began to pray

for those three
families. A friend

of mine has requested
that, that I would make

him more
accountable as a Christian.

Would I be willing
to do that to give him

a call once in a
while and I said you know

I'm happy to do
that if the Lord puts

that in my heart.
I wanna do it if its

God's will and so,
this morning that came to

my mind so clearly and
I began to pray for him

and then I wanted to
be able to follow through

and have that,
that positive spiritual

accountability.
It reminded me of

another family. Family that was

going through a
particularly difficult

struggle in
their experience and I

began to pray for
them. Praying that God would

come near to them in
His presence through Christ

and through the Holy
Spirit, that He would

meet their
particular needs and they too
00:08:16.86\00:08:19.84
could be aware that
this day they could be

with Christ. And
so I was praying there

that beautiful
morning with the Lord and

I said Lord, I just, I
have given myself to you.

I just wanna know
that you're with me.

I wanna be aware of
your presence through

the day. I wanna be
in your will all through

the day. And this
thought came to my mind,

a beautiful thought, I
will be at thy right hand.

The Lord is saying I
will be at thy right hand,

what an encouragement.

I remember the
words of David in Psalm 16

says there, I have set

the Lord always

What a promise.
These words are for us

and this was
very personal to me on

this day with
Christ. I knew that He was

going to make me
aware of his presence.

He was gonna be at my right hand

and therefore because
He is at my right hand.

I don't have to
be moved. What does

that mean? I don't

my selfishness, I
don't have to be moved by

wanting to do things my way.

temptations that
the devil is gonna throw

at me because I have my savior

who is willing to
be at my right hand.

This is the whole
purpose of communion

with God friends.
This is the whole reason

for our quiet
time in the morning.

This is why God
wants to waken us

morning to be with Him.

So that we can
be set in our minds,

our time. It isn't
just, that we take our Bibles

and we have time,
so we can say well

I read my Bible today
or I had a prayer today.

The whole reason
for communion with God

through His word
and through prayer

is to connect our
souls in a vital living

connection with Jesus
Christ and to know that

He is going to be
with us. And I shall not be

moved. You see a
living Christian,

this is a living Christian,
communion with Christ,

heeding the call of
spirit and living in

His will by His
power. The other, the

professed Christian
has no real communion

with Christ. Not
really tuned in or responsive

to the call of the
spirit and he is managing

my life in
myself doing it my way

and this is the Bible
calls a form of Godliness.

Looks like
Godliness to many people,

but it's a form of
Godliness that denies

the very power of the gospel.

And we're told
that we should turn away

from that kind
of Godliness to the

living power of Jesus Christ.

Well that morning
as I went upstairs for

to return down stairs
I got a drink of water,

stairs to my

and the Lord
gave me this thought.

Remember He is
gonna be at my right hand.

those gentle promptings

gently calling to me

that I needed to
just eat lightly that day

and just have fruit.
Oh I was looking forward

to a big
breakfast. I like to breakfast

like a king. And
I enjoy it so much,

but you know we have
just returned not long

before from a series
of meetings and I realized

that my throat was
not quite what it should

Lord was calling to

me just to eat
more lightly. What am I

gonna do now? He
reminded me again that

He is gonna be at my

so now will I trust him

you. Christianity as far
