about a famous army general,

"Satan's Final Stand. "

General George Armstrong
Custer was a soldier's soldier.
00:01:09.48\00:01:15.75
He was a man amongst
men. But he was rash, reckless
00:01:15.78\00:01:20.56
rebellious, head strong
and loved to live on the edge.
00:01:20.59\00:01:25.00
Custer's name became
famous for the battle he fought
00:01:25.03\00:01:31.03
with the Sioux,
Cheyenne and other Indians
00:01:31.06\00:01:35.24
out west in the
state of Montana.
00:01:35.27\00:01:37.92
Custer had received
orders to wait until
00:01:37.95\00:01:44.17
General Terry arrived.
That order was given June 24th
00:01:44.20\00:01:49.10
And he was told to
remain there until June 26th.
00:01:49.13\00:01:52.94
But Custer became head strong
00:01:52.97\00:01:55.96
and thought Chief Sitting Bull
00:01:55.99\00:01:58.61
would not expect
a surprise attack

at his village and he
decided to leave on the 25th

instead of the 26th
and wait for the general.

Chief Sitting Bull had a dream

that his village
was going to be invaded

and prepared his 1500
warriors for the attack.

When Custer arrived and
invaded the Indian village

to his deadly
surprise and horror

they were waiting
and ready for him.

Custer and his 260 soldiers

were massacred with no survivors

what a sad commentary.

This infamous battle
is known in history as

as 'Custer's Last Stand. '

Satan is like
Custer in many ways.

He too is rash,
reckless and rebellious,

head strong and
lives on the edge.

Satan is fighting against Christ

in a great controversy
between Good and evil.

It is the fight of his life.

This last battle is
truly Satan's 'Last Stand. '

Satan unlike Custer
has strategically planned

his battle against
God and His people.

He's not taking
anything for granted.

In fact, Satan is
such a selfish individual,

one whom thinks
only about himself

and in laying this battle plan

he didn't even
consult with his angels

but he went off by himself,

planned this
battle and came back

and gave them the battle plan.

Satan is full aware that
his time is nearly expired.

It's almost
curtain time for Satan.

And he is like a wounded
serpent, very, very dangerous

out to get whoever he can get.

that Satan's time
is very, very short.

The Bible says:

Satan knows that his
time is very, very short.

And therefore he is all
out to capture and destroy

as many
unexpecting people as possible.

Jesus, when living on this earth
nearly 2000 years ago warned us

of Satan's final attacks
on the population of earth.

In fact there are many
texts that help us understand

some of the final
events in earth's history.

The first one is
found in Matthew 24

And so we see in the Bible
some of the signs of the end.

Then beginning

The final episode
between Christ and Satan

When God's glory, God
the Father and the Son

and the Holy Ghost
and all the holy angels

come back to the earth
to receive their children

and Satan with
all of his evil imps

try to counter
against Christ coming back

to receive His people.

This is going to be a
battle that no pen can describe.

But the sad thing is that

the majority of
earth's inhabitants

are not ready for this
most unusual stupendous event.

Most people, spiritually
speaking, are in a comma.

They're asleep.
They are asphyxiated.

They are spiritually dead.

Satan has almost,
almost captured the world.

He has many of the
people in the world

all over the world so busy

with so many
things, even good things

that they have very
little time for the Bible,

for studying and
prayer and witnessing.

There are many people in
the world who've never heard

the name of Christ.

Many are still
living in paganism.

They're living in
all types of situations

where they're
just trying to survive,

trying to eat.

The Bible tells us in
Luke 17:26, reading verse 26

As it was in the days of Noah

when God informed
Noah to build an ark

120 years it took
Noah to build that ark.
00:10:24.11\00:10:28.60
And the sad thing though is that
there were many, many people

who helped Noah build the ark
00:10:33.92\00:10:35.78
For 120 years
many people helped him

to build that
ark plank by plank.

But when the day came in
which God instructed Noah,

his family and the
others to go into the ark

many who had
helped to build the ark

because they were
perhaps afraid to be laughed at

by the onlookers and they
refused to go into the ark

until the ark was sealed

and then when the rain
came for the first time

and they realized that
Noah was telling the truth

and it was raining and
the rain flooded the earth

and they were
destroyed. It was too late.

Good intentions are not enough.

We can have good
intensions and say,

"Well, I really love God and "

"I really want
to do what's right "

"and I'm following "

"the traditions of my "

"grandmother and grandfather "

"and my parents "

"And I'm doing what "

"I think is right "
00:11:33.46\00:11:34.50
"I'm really sincere "
00:11:34.53\00:11:35.81
But many people as it
was in the day of Noah
00:11:35.84\00:11:40.34
will be found to
be sincerely wrong.
00:11:40.37\00:11:43.26
So was it in the day of Lot.
00:11:43.29\00:11:46.17
When Lot informed his children
00:11:46.20\00:11:49.33
to leave Sodom
because the Lord was going to
00:11:49.36\00:11:52.47
rain down fire on
Sodom and destroy it.
00:11:52.50\00:11:54.89
Even his own
children with the exception of
00:11:54.92\00:11:58.15
his two daughters and his wife
00:11:58.18\00:11:59.66
refused to believe his
message and they stayed there
00:11:59.69\00:12:04.26
until fire came
down and destroyed Sodom.
00:12:04.29\00:12:08.15
And the sad thing is even
though his wife left with him
00:12:08.18\00:12:12.55
escaping the fires of Sodom
00:12:12.58\00:12:15.10
her heart was still in Sodom.
00:12:15.13\00:12:17.45
She had been instructed as had
been Lot and his two daughters
00:12:17.48\00:12:22.19
not to look back to Sodom.
00:12:22.22\00:12:23.98
And because she probably had so
much stuff back there in Sodom
00:12:24.01\00:12:28.04
she looked back
00:12:28.07\00:12:29.41
and the Bible says she
became a pillar of salt.

And so Jesus leaves on
record these two stories

to inform us, as it
was in the day of Noah
00:12:35.22\00:12:38.58
and the day of Lot,
00:12:38.61\00:12:41.25
so shall it be in the
coming of the Son of Man.

People are going to be lost
00:12:44.14\00:12:46.06
because they didn't
believe the word of God.

People are going to be
lost because they're concerned
00:12:48.34\00:12:50.76
about what people
will think of them if they

follow the Word of God.

So Jesus has left on
record the final events.

The first warning He gives us

even before He
gives us the signs of war,

famine and pestilence, He
says that the first warning is

that you be not deceived.

Satan again is
keeping everybody so busy.

The Second Coming of Christ
is going to come on us unawares

All around us
things are happening.

We see these things happening
and we take it for granted

that it's just
another occurrence.

All these are signs from the
Lord Jesus Christ warning us.

God sends
curses, not to punish us,

but He sends curses to warn us.

To let us be aware of our danger

so that we will turn to
Him repent and be saved.

It's going to be a
sad, sad day for God

to finally have to
destroy His creatures

was not meant for human beings.

Satan and his evil imps.

But those of us who
refuse to follow the Bible

and we rather accept
tradition and our own knowledge

unfortunately we'll have
to share the fate of Satan

and have to be lost.

the judgment and he stands

with all of the
holy angels and they say

"Who are you? " And he says,

"everybody knows me.
I've broken all the records. "

If he has not
accepted Jesus Christ

the angels will say to him

"We don't know you,

Again, the only thing
that will matter in the end

that's a new one where men are

scene that Satan invented.
