white German shepherd.

where he would match them

against each other
in the finding pens.

Sinbad established the odds

and the spectators
placed their bets with him.

their favorite dog.

Now the pit bull
often soundly whipped

Once they agreed
on the selling price

that we have a problem.

It seems that Christians,

Christians have lost
their reverent respect

and awe for God.

We don't hate sin as God does.

I think maybe that

the vast corruption
of our world has numbed

our senses in some way.

In many instances our
response to sin has been

diluted to
lukewarm indifference,

shrugging shoulders,

and clucking tongues.

And our apathy grieves God.

It's really become difficult

to avoid worldly
images and influences,

We are bombarded
by evil images daily.

We need to be like the Psalmist

who recorded his prayer to God

He said "Lord turn my

Are we vigilant
to turn our eyes away

It breaks the heart of God

Our laughter
