That's what Gideon does,

of disciples and apostles

forsake Jesus, didn't they?

But a few remain behind,

with Gideon did a
lot of army forsake him?

When he said, if you are
afraid you need to turn away.

They went home and then those

who didn't drink the
water carefully looking around

they were just missed.

So he ends up with not quantity

but he has got
quality and that quality

was able to
conquer a massive force.

Jesus spent three and half years

disciplining people for quality.

They turned the
world upside down.

It also tells us about
Gideon that he was a meek men,

he was the youngest
in his father's family.

how often God shows the
weakest and the youngest.

Joseph among the

Moses the youngest,
Gideon the youngest.

God is trying to tell us
that he takes those things

that are often
overlooked and despised

and He does great
things through them.

And it says here in Judges

how can I save Israel?

Indeed my clan is
the weakest in Manasseh,

my father's house."

And again you go to see

the humility
there, the meekness.

And Gideon said to them,
"I will not rule over you,

country was first founded

to make him a king.

they still fought
like that and they said.

Yeah, I know we are gonna--
we are gonna be free country

and we'll do things
differently, but we need a king.

And they wanted to
make Washington king

and he said no, he retired.

They wanted to keep
making him president,

but he knew that they
needed to elect a president,

it needed to be a
nation chosen by the people

and because of his
humility in that area,

it set the president
for all other presidents

to say, I have a limited
term we don't have a king.

We don't have a monarchy.

That's why he said,
not only will I not reign,

my son will not reign.

Well, few years later
they said give us a king like

the other nations and
things started going downhill.

find in the story of Gideon.

His future is guided by
the way God uses a fleece.

throw a fleece before the Lord?

It's a sheep's skin.

And what does the lamb
represent in the Bible?
