Hello. 00:01:15.80\00:01:19.47 Auntie Nat, that's a long way away. 00:01:19.54\00:01:20.88 I know. Isn't technology amazing. We can be sitting here 00:01:21.21\00:01:25.21 in our lounge room in Australia and someone in a different 00:01:25.25\00:01:28.58 country is watching us. What do you think, Auntie Cecily? 00:01:28.62\00:01:31.89 Oh it is incredible. It's also incredible that Teddy sits here 00:01:31.92\00:01:36.19 and tries to be a good bunny each week. 00:01:36.22\00:01:40.86 Auntie Nat, would you like to say a prayer for us before we 00:01:40.90\00:01:43.06 commence our worship? 00:01:43.10\00:01:44.43 Yes, I'd love to. Dearest heavenly Father, we thank you 00:01:44.47\00:01:49.24 Lord that we're here for another worship time to welcome in the 00:01:49.27\00:01:52.54 Sabbath and we just ask Lord you'll be with the children at 00:01:52.57\00:01:55.81 home. In Jesus's name. Amen. 00:01:55.84\00:01:58.28 Amen. Auntie Nat, do you know I'm so glad that it's the 00:01:58.31\00:02:03.15 Sabbath and that I can just rest from the week and just have a 00:02:03.18\00:02:07.22 little, you know, quiet time with the Lord. And speaking of 00:02:07.26\00:02:11.59 blessings; we have our blessing box again. Jeremiah would you 00:02:11.63\00:02:15.40 like to open our blessing box and read a blessing that we can 00:02:15.46\00:02:19.20 be to others? I wonder what our blessing is today. 00:02:19.23\00:02:22.70 Invite some friends to come with you and your family on a nature 00:02:22.74\00:02:29.14 walk. 00:02:29.18\00:02:30.51 O lovely. Do you sometimes like to go walking with friends in 00:02:30.55\00:02:33.62 nature. Where do you like to go for a walk on Sabbath afternoon? 00:02:33.65\00:02:37.65 How about you Jeremiah, where do you like to go? 00:02:37.69\00:02:41.12 In the bush. 00:02:41.16\00:02:43.06 Oh yes, I love the Australian bush. And I also like going to 00:02:43.12\00:02:46.13 the beach for a walk on Sabbath afternoon. Have you ever done 00:02:46.16\00:02:49.16 that? Uh-huh. And have you looked in the rock pools and 00:02:49.20\00:02:54.40 seen the little fish? Starfish and crabs? Have you been 00:02:54.44\00:02:58.61 nipped by a crab? That's a lovely way to just share. 00:02:58.67\00:03:02.74 And how much better it is even if we take friends. Isn't that 00:03:02.81\00:03:06.35 exciting then. We can share that enjoyment being out amongst 00:03:06.38\00:03:09.75 God's nature. Boys and girls is there a special spot where you 00:03:09.78\00:03:13.12 you live that you love to go for a walk and look at the 00:03:13.15\00:03:16.22 beauty that God created. Perhaps you could send us a picture of 00:03:16.26\00:03:20.23 that place. We would love to see it and share it with the 00:03:20.26\00:03:24.27 children here. Our address is www. adaywiththeking. com. 00:03:24.30\00:03:27.14 Now Auntie Cecily you've been sharing some blessings about 00:03:27.17\00:03:30.01 Jesus' second coming. 00:03:30.04\00:03:31.37 Yes remember the last few Sabbaths we've spoken about 00:03:31.41\00:03:36.71 preparing our hearts for Jesus so we can enter the promised 00:03:36.75\00:03:40.82 land, which is heaven. Well today I want to talk with you 00:03:40.85\00:03:44.82 about some promises in the Bible that tell us that Jesus is 00:03:44.85\00:03:48.79 coming soon to take us to the heavenly promised land. 00:03:48.82\00:03:52.39 Revelation 1:7 tells us, Behold He is coming with clouds and 00:03:52.46\00:03:57.90 every eye will see Him, even those who pierced Him. Here's 00:03:57.93\00:04:03.37 another promise found in James 5:7-8: Therefore, be patient 00:04:03.47\00:04:09.04 brethren until the coming of the Lord. Establish your hearts 00:04:09.11\00:04:14.45 for the coming of the Lord is at hand. Now later in our Bible 00:04:14.48\00:04:19.02 study we're going to learn about a man names Gideon. When God 00:04:19.05\00:04:23.69 called Gideon to do a mighty work for Him, Gideon tested God 00:04:23.73\00:04:28.33 and we'll discover what those tests were. God wants us to 00:04:28.36\00:04:32.80 read and test the Bible and he wants us to taste and see that 00:04:32.83\00:04:37.14 the Lord is good. So test the Bible for yourself and build up 00:04:37.17\00:04:41.34 your trust in God and believe in His promises. Because He 00:04:41.38\00:04:45.35 wants you to be ready for Him so He can take you back to live 00:04:45.38\00:04:49.32 with Him and be with him forever. 00:04:49.35\00:04:51.69 Thanks Auntie Cecily for sharing that with us. Jesus really wants 00:04:51.72\00:04:56.46 us to read His word so we can believe in his promises. 00:04:56.49\00:05:00.66 Oh Pastor Rick, you just snuck in. Thank you so much for 00:05:00.70\00:05:04.77 sharing your musical talent with us and joining with us in our 00:05:04.80\00:05:07.44 worship time. 00:05:07.47\00:05:08.80 It's great to be here and it's great to be with you again 00:05:08.84\00:05:10.74 children. And because it's Sabbath, what if we sing 00:05:10.77\00:05:14.51 Don't Forget the Sabbath? Ready? 00:05:14.54\00:05:19.35 Pastor Rick can we please sing I Just Keep Trusting My Lord? 00:06:17.51\00:06:21.88 That is one of my favorite songs So glad you chose it. 00:06:21.91\00:06:27.15 Pastor Rick can we sing Thank you Lord? 00:07:32.15\00:07:35.35 We certainly can and we've got so much to thank the Lord for. 00:07:35.38\00:07:38.59 Sing it again. 00:08:02.58\00:08:03.91 Thanks Pastor Rick. Singing praises to God in song is such 00:08:26.84\00:08:30.11 enjoyable part of our worship. Now it's story time again with 00:08:30.54\00:08:34.78 Dr. John. I wonder what he's got for us this time. 00:08:34.81\00:08:38.21 Hi boys and girls. I'm Dr. John 00:08:38.25\00:08:40.98 and welcome back to story time 00:08:41.02\00:08:43.65 and welcome to boys and girls wherever you are. 00:08:43.69\00:08:47.46 You know I used to live in Fiji and the old missionaries there 00:08:47.49\00:08:52.26 would tell the stories of the old days. You know what the 00:08:52.29\00:08:56.36 biggest danger was in the old days. It wasn't sickness, it 00:08:56.40\00:09:00.94 wasn't starvation, it was the cannibals and it was a terrible, 00:09:00.97\00:09:05.47 terrible thing and the last missionary in Fiji to have an 00:09:05.51\00:09:12.45 unfortunate end was this man here. His name was Thomas Baker. 00:09:12.51\00:09:18.69 Thomas Baker went to a village called Nambutautau. Say that 00:09:18.72\00:09:24.56 with me - Nambatautua. Oh you'd make good little Fijians. And 00:09:24.59\00:09:29.30 the people from Nandrau, the big village nearby, they said, 00:09:29.33\00:09:34.94 we don't like this man. He does not understand our culture and 00:09:34.97\00:09:40.44 we want rid of him. Wow. He came to the village and he did 00:09:40.48\00:09:45.65 did several things wrong. One was when he met the chief, he 00:09:45.68\00:09:51.05 had his head higher than the chief and even when I lived in 00:09:51.09\00:09:55.49 Fiji, when I went to a village with a chief, my head was never 00:09:55.52\00:10:01.03 higher than his. But before he went to bed he did something 00:10:01.06\00:10:06.97 that was to cost him his life. He decided to comb his hair and 00:10:07.00\00:10:13.71 he combed his hair and when he finished the chief reached out 00:10:13.74\00:10:20.72 and took it, just like that. And he stuck it in his hair. Now 00:10:20.75\00:10:26.76 your hair is very short. Can you stick that in your hair? 00:10:26.79\00:10:32.73 I don't think so. 00:10:32.76\00:10:34.36 Yeah and you know what Thomas Baker did. You hold it on your 00:10:34.43\00:10:37.87 head, you hold it on your head. He reached over and he took it 00:10:37.90\00:10:43.00 back, like that. And that was his death sentence. Because that 00:10:43.04\00:10:48.21 night they came with the clubs and they killed him and they ate 00:10:48.24\00:10:52.88 him and they ate everything. And there was one part of him 00:10:52.91\00:10:58.49 they couldn't eat. They chewed and they chewed and they chewed 00:10:58.52\00:11:04.49 and they could never quite finish because they'd never seen 00:11:04.53\00:11:10.40 shoes before. They tried to eat his shoes. So they keep those in 00:11:10.43\00:11:14.30 in the museum in Suva, the capital of Fiji. You will still 00:11:14.34\00:11:19.51 the shoes of the one Reverend Thomas Baker. But you know 00:11:19.54\00:11:24.65 the missionaries made peace and when you make peace in Fiji they 00:11:24.68\00:11:31.82 give you this. This is the most valuable thing you can have 00:11:31.85\00:11:37.29 in the Pacific Islands. Does anybody know what it might be? 00:11:37.33\00:11:42.66 Take a guess. A tooth? My tooth? What's it off. You are quite 00:11:42.73\00:11:50.97 right What sort of an animal is this off? A whale. And these are 00:11:51.01\00:11:58.78 worth hundreds and thousands of dollars and if you and I have a 00:11:58.81\00:12:03.25 fight and we make up and I give you this and you reach out. 00:12:03.28\00:12:09.16 You've got both hands, that's the way you do it. And then I go 00:12:09.22\00:12:13.66 like this (claps hand together three times), we can never be 00:12:13.70\00:12:19.63 enemies again. And that is why Christianity came to Fiji so 00:12:19.70\00:12:25.61 quickly and they gave up cannibalism. And you know 00:12:25.64\00:12:28.34 one of the chiefs from Nandrel which was near, what was the 00:12:28.41\00:12:34.82 name of the village? Nambutautau He came to me. He was on my 00:12:34.85\00:12:39.22 staff, and I was leaving, and he started to cry. He said I have 00:12:39.25\00:12:43.56 a present for you. And I said what have you got. His name 00:12:43.59\00:12:47.30 was Taniella which means Daniel. He said, this is my ancestral 00:12:47.33\00:12:54.04 war club. It has killed 19 men. And he cried as he gave the name 00:12:54.07\00:12:59.97 of every one of the people that he had killed. Not him, but his 00:13:00.01\00:13:05.48 ancestors. And you know. This is my most treasured possession. 00:13:05.51\00:13:10.29 Because when a Fijian gives you a present, you have to accept it 00:13:10.32\00:13:14.99 just like the tamboura. But you know the Fijians are the most 00:13:15.02\00:13:19.63 wonderful Christian people. There is no more cannibalism. 00:13:19.66\00:13:23.73 They gave it away. They had to eat fish instead because there 00:13:23.77\00:13:28.30 were no other wild animals and they liked to eat meat. And 00:13:28.34\00:13:32.77 Taniella and his friends and his family all became Christians and 00:13:32.84\00:13:37.45 wonderful, wonderful people. Thank you boys and girls. 00:13:37.48\00:13:40.32 Bye Bye. 00:13:40.35\00:13:41.88 Hi boys and girls. Welcome to our Bible study. If you haven't 00:13:41.95\00:13:45.39 got your Bibles ready yet, go get them now so you can follow 00:13:45.42\00:13:48.56 along with us. Caleb could you please say a prayer for us to 00:13:48.59\00:13:51.69 open our Bible study. 00:13:51.73\00:13:53.06 Yes thank you. Dear Father, help us to understand what we 00:13:53.09\00:13:57.03 read in our Bibles today. Turn our hearts to You. Please be 00:13:57.07\00:14:00.64 especially with the children at home and bless them this day. 00:14:00.67\00:14:04.17 In Jesus' name. Amen. 00:14:04.21\00:14:06.37 Amen. Now J J we studied about something that stood still last 00:14:06.44\00:14:10.41 week. What was that about? 00:14:10.45\00:14:11.85 The sun stood still. 00:14:11.88\00:14:14.18 Yes, God did an amazing thing for Joshua, didn't He, so that 00:14:14.22\00:14:17.82 he and his army could fight the Canaanites and win the battle. 00:14:17.85\00:14:21.42 But something else happened. There was something that was 00:14:21.46\00:14:24.33 divided up for the children of Israel. What was that? 00:14:24.36\00:14:27.23 The land. 00:14:27.26\00:14:28.60 The land, yes, and they all had their territories to inhabit. 00:14:28.63\00:14:32.53 Now something happened, and we're going to study about that, 00:14:32.57\00:14:36.40 because of what the children of Israel didn't do. We are going 00:14:36.44\00:14:40.34 to study the book of Judges. Okay, Anna could you please read 00:14:40.38\00:14:44.28 our first reading, Judges 2:11-12. 00:14:44.31\00:14:47.02 Then the children of Israel did evil in the sight of the Lord 00:14:47.08\00:14:51.02 and served the Baals and they forsook the Lord God of their 00:14:51.05\00:14:54.92 fathers who had brought them out of the land of Egypt and they 00:14:54.96\00:14:58.79 followed other gods from among the gods of the people who 00:14:58.83\00:15:02.13 overran them and they bowed to them and they provoked the Lord 00:15:02.16\00:15:06.27 to anger. 00:15:06.30\00:15:08.00 Thanks Anna. Yes, so the children of Israel did not do 00:15:08.04\00:15:11.47 what God asked them and to destroy all the idols in the 00:15:11.51\00:15:14.84 land and they did not drive out the Canaanites. So instead of 00:15:14.91\00:15:18.95 worshipping the one true God that delivered them from Egypt, 00:15:19.01\00:15:22.75 they began to worship the gods of the Canaanites. Was God 00:15:22.78\00:15:26.86 happy? No. No He wasn't. So because the Israelites chose to 00:15:26.92\00:15:30.69 worship the false gods of the Canaanites, God allowed the 00:15:30.73\00:15:34.43 Canaanites to go to war against them and make their lives very 00:15:34.46\00:15:38.33 hard. But in God's mercy, He didn't utterly forsake them. 00:15:38.37\00:15:42.64 He would raise up a judge to help deliver them. After the 00:15:42.67\00:15:46.84 Israelites had repented and been delivered peace would come for 00:15:46.88\00:15:50.61 many years but then something would happen. Bethany can you 00:15:50.65\00:15:54.35 please read Judges 2:19. 00:15:54.38\00:15:56.22 And then it came to pass that when the judge was dead that 00:15:56.28\00:16:00.66 they reverted and behaved more corruptly than their fathers by 00:16:00.69\00:16:04.56 following other gods to serve them and bow down to them. They 00:16:04.59\00:16:08.46 did not cease from their own doings nor from their 00:16:08.50\00:16:10.87 stubborn way. 00:16:10.90\00:16:12.40 So as soon as the judge had raised up to deliver them died 00:16:12.43\00:16:15.80 Israel went into apostasy again. Sad isn't it? We are now going 00:16:15.87\00:16:20.81 study about one of the judges and his name was Gideon. Kate 00:16:20.84\00:16:25.75 can you read Judges 6:1 and 5-6 please. 00:16:25.78\00:16:31.25 Then the children of Israel did evil in the sight of the Lord, 00:16:31.29\00:16:34.69 so the Lord delivered them into hands of Midian for seven years. 00:16:34.72\00:16:39.09 So they would come up with their livestock and their tents coming 00:16:39.13\00:16:43.47 in as numerous as locusts; both they and their camels were 00:16:43.50\00:16:49.64 without number and they would enter the land to destroy it. So 00:16:49.70\00:16:55.34 Israel was greatly impoverished because of the Midianites and 00:16:55.38\00:17:01.02 children of Israel cried out to the Lord. 00:17:01.05\00:17:03.39 Thanks Kate. So the children of Israel started worshipping false 00:17:03.42\00:17:07.82 gods again and this time the Midianites came and ate 00:17:07.86\00:17:11.33 everything up and they were like locusts and they stripped the 00:17:11.39\00:17:15.13 land of food. The Israelites became impoverished or very 00:17:15.16\00:17:19.60 hungry and cried out to the Lord. Let's see what God does. 00:17:19.63\00:17:24.04 Caleb can you please read Judges 6:11-12. 00:17:24.07\00:17:28.01 Now the angel of the Lord came and sat under the terebinth tree 00:17:28.04\00:17:34.15 which was in Ophrah which belonged to Joash the Abiezrite, 00:17:34.18\00:17:41.72 while his son Gideon threshed wheat in the winepress in order 00:17:41.76\00:17:48.16 to hide it from the Midianites. And the Angel of the Lord 00:17:48.20\00:17:54.57 appeared to him and said to him, The Lord is with you, you mighty 00:17:54.60\00:18:00.54 man of valor. 00:18:00.58\00:18:01.98 Thanks Caleb. So and angel of the Lord came to speak to Gideon 00:18:02.01\00:18:07.22 J J can you please read Judges 6:14-16. 00:18:07.25\00:18:11.15 Then the Lord turned to him and said go in this might of yours 00:18:11.19\00:18:18.66 you shall save Israel from the hand of the Midianites. Have I 00:18:18.69\00:18:25.87 not sent you? So he said to Him, O my Lord, how can I save Israel 00:18:25.90\00:18:32.77 Indeed my clan is the weakest in Manasseh and I am the least in 00:18:32.81\00:18:38.81 my father's house. And the Lord said to him, Surely I will be 00:18:38.85\00:18:44.79 with you and you shall defeat the Midianites as one man. 00:18:44.82\00:18:50.03 Thanks J J. So God wants to use Gideon to deliver Israel from 00:18:50.06\00:18:55.03 the Midianites. Gideon, like Moses, was a bit unsure about 00:18:55.06\00:19:00.14 the job that God had given him and asked God for a sign. We're 00:19:00.17\00:19:05.21 going to read about that. Anna, can you please read 00:19:05.24\00:19:07.01 Judges 6:36-38. 00:19:07.04\00:19:09.41 So Gideon said to God, if you will save Israel by my hand as 00:19:09.44\00:19:14.98 you have said, Look I shall put a fleece of wool on the 00:19:15.02\00:19:18.89 threshing floor. If there is dew on the fleece only and it is dry 00:19:18.92\00:19:23.36 on all the ground, then I shall know that you will save Israel 00:19:23.39\00:19:28.53 by my hand as you have said. And it was so. When he rose early 00:19:28.56\00:19:33.07 the next morning and squeezed the fleece together he wrung the 00:19:33.10\00:19:37.61 dew out of the fleece, a bowl full of water. 00:19:37.64\00:19:41.74 Mmm. Now boys and girls if you go for a walk out on your grass 00:19:41.78\00:19:45.01 in your front or back 00:19:45.05\00:19:46.38 yard in the morning, it's usually got some dew on it, 00:19:46.41\00:19:48.98 hasn't it? It feels a little bit wet? So Gideon asked God for 00:19:49.02\00:19:53.92 sign that if the fleece was wet and the grass or the ground 00:19:53.96\00:19:59.43 around the fleece was dry, he knew that God was with him. Now 00:19:59.46\00:20:04.10 I'm going to give this to Aunt Cecily and I want J J to feel 00:20:04.17\00:20:08.20 for me, I've got some samples here. Now J J, you put your hand 00:20:08.24\00:20:12.27 on the fleece and tell me what it is. 00:20:12.31\00:20:13.98 It's wet. 00:20:14.01\00:20:15.38 Now put your other hand on the grass and what is the grass? 00:20:15.44\00:20:19.75 It's dry, isn't it? So God answered his prayer didn't He? 00:20:19.78\00:20:24.05 Thanks Auntie Cecily. Okay. But Gideon wanted to be doubly sure. 00:20:24.09\00:20:28.92 Now Matthew can you please read Judges 6:39-40. 00:20:28.96\00:20:35.80 Then Gideon said to God, Do not be angry with me, but let me 00:20:35.83\00:20:40.24 speak just once more: Let me test, I pray, just once more 00:20:40.27\00:20:44.34 with the fleece. Let it be dry only on the fleece but on all 00:20:44.37\00:20:48.44 the ground let there be dew. And God did so that night. 00:20:48.48\00:20:52.08 It was dry on the fleece only but there was dew on all the 00:20:52.11\00:20:55.68 ground. 00:20:55.72\00:20:57.05 Okay, so this time Gideon wanted the grass to be wet and the 00:20:57.09\00:21:00.59 fleece to be dry. Caleb can you put your hand on the fleece? 00:21:00.62\00:21:04.73 What is it? It's dry. All right put you other hand on the grass 00:21:04.76\00:21:08.83 and what is it. 00:21:08.86\00:21:10.20 The grass is wet. 00:21:10.23\00:21:11.57 Ah, is your hand all wet? Yeah. Yeah. So did God answer his 00:21:11.60\00:21:14.94 prayer again. He did. So Gideon was now satisfied and he 00:21:14.97\00:21:18.91 gathered the men of war together Bethany can you please read 00:21:18.94\00:21:22.84 Judges 7:2-3? 00:21:22.88\00:21:24.61 And the Lord said to Gideon, the people who are with you are 00:21:24.65\00:21:27.88 too many for me to give the Midianites into their hands. 00:21:27.92\00:21:31.89 Lest Israel claim glory for itself against me saying my own 00:21:31.92\00:21:36.06 hand has saved me. Now therefore proclaim in the hearing of the 00:21:36.09\00:21:40.20 people saying, Whoever is fearful and afraid, let him turn 00:21:40.23\00:21:44.80 and depart at once from Mount Gilead and 22,000 of the people 00:21:44.83\00:21:49.40 returned and 10,000 remained. 00:21:49.44\00:21:54.21 Wow. So out of 32,000 men 22,000 went home. So only 10,000 00:21:54.24\00:21:58.48 remained. In a worldly perspective, do you think it's 00:21:58.51\00:22:01.42 better to have as many men as possible to go to war and it is. 00:22:01.45\00:22:05.35 But do you know what, God wanted to show that He would 00:22:05.39\00:22:08.66 fight the battle for them. God wanted them to rely on Him and 00:22:08.72\00:22:12.86 not themselves. But God tells Gideon there's still too many 00:22:12.89\00:22:16.77 men and God directs Gideon to take them down to the water 00:22:16.80\00:22:20.64 or the river bank to drink. Kate can you please read 00:22:20.67\00:22:23.84 Judges 7:6-7. 00:22:23.87\00:22:26.74 And the number of those who lapped putting their hand to 00:22:26.78\00:22:30.18 their mouth was 300 men, but all the rest of the people who went 00:22:30.25\00:22:34.88 down on their knees to drink water. Then the Lord God said 00:22:34.92\00:22:37.99 to Gideon, by 300 men who lapped, I will save you and 00:22:38.02\00:22:42.19 deliver the Midianites into your hand. Let all the other people 00:22:42.22\00:22:46.80 go, every man to his place. 00:22:46.83\00:22:49.93 Thanks Kate. So the men that got on their hands and knees to 00:22:49.96\00:22:54.24 drink by the river went home but the men who scooped the water 00:22:54.27\00:22:58.17 up as they were going and licked or lapped it from their hands, 00:22:58.21\00:23:02.31 they were the ones that God wanted. So how many were chosen 00:23:02.34\00:23:05.95 to stay? Three hundred. Three hundred. Do you know what? 00:23:05.98\00:23:09.52 God was testing their character. The 300 men were chosen for the 00:23:09.58\00:23:13.86 was they drank the water. It showed that they had a job to 00:23:13.89\00:23:17.76 do and they were putting God before serving themselves. Let's 00:23:17.79\00:23:21.33 read the Torch Light. Caleb can you read that for us, to see 00:23:21.36\00:23:24.90 what Mrs. White shines on that verse for us. 00:23:24.93\00:23:30.34 Success does not depend upon 00:23:30.37\00:23:32.67 numbers. God can deliver by few 00:23:32.71\00:23:34.91 well as by many. He is honored not so much by the great numbers 00:23:34.94\00:23:40.65 as by the character of those who serve him. 00:23:40.68\00:23:43.82 Thank you Caleb. So it wasn't about the numbers, it was about 00:23:43.89\00:23:47.52 their hearts and where their hearts were for God. God can 00:23:47.56\00:23:51.09 do amazing things with a small amount of people. Okay, Gideon 00:23:51.13\00:23:55.03 divided the 300 men into three groups, that was 100 in each and 00:23:55.06\00:23:58.90 got them to come in three different directions of the 00:23:58.93\00:24:02.44 enemy encampment and it was at night while they were sleeping. 00:24:02.50\00:24:07.08 With the trumpet sound from Gideon, all 300 men blew their 00:24:07.11\00:24:11.58 trumpets and gave a shout and they broke their clay pitchers 00:24:11.61\00:24:16.12 to show their torches and it created such a panic with the 00:24:16.15\00:24:20.22 Midianites and they became confused and guess what? They 00:24:20.26\00:24:24.43 all killed each other while running away. We are told in 00:24:24.46\00:24:28.56 Judges 8:10 that the Midianites consisted of 120,000 men, but 00:24:28.60\00:24:34.34 God won the battle through Gideon with how many? 00:24:34.37\00:24:36.54 Three hundred. Three hundred men. Wow. Let's look at our 00:24:36.60\00:24:41.21 memory verse found in Isaiah 35:4. Let's read this together. 00:24:41.24\00:24:46.88 Say to those who are fearful- hearted, Be strong, do not fear 00:24:46.92\00:24:52.52 He will come and save you. 00:24:52.55\00:24:56.86 Wow. So just like God saved the Israelites, we can claim this 00:24:56.89\00:25:00.76 verse when we are scared or frightened or we are going up 00:25:00.80\00:25:05.23 with some overwhelming event in our lives. God is mighty to 00:25:05.27\00:25:09.10 save. Thank you boys and girls for reading along with us.
